Wide selection of items

We enjoyed renting napkins and upmarket umbrella from Best Event. Their convenient location in downtown State College meant that we could pick up and return the rented items by ourselves. We overall experience good service and very friendly staff. Most of all, they have a huge variety of items and colors so you don't need to look at multiple places to find what you need for your wedding event.

Perfect Job

They did a great job getting everything to our location on time and making sure it was set up right. They even came back immediately when we were missing a few cocktail tables. Super professional and easy to work with.

My husband and I chose a very basic outdoor wedding venue, we were responsible for providing everything: the altar, benches, the tables and chairs, lighting.. Etc. I am confident if we hadn't used Best Event, we never would have pulled it off! From the beginning, Megan Glenn was one step ahead of us. She was comforting, professional, and experienced. She has impeccable taste, and her confidence is contagious, the kind of person every bride needs on her side. Not only did she impress me, but my mom, bridesmaids, and husband all approached me separately to praise Megan's attention to detail. It takes a patient and talented person to dive into the stressful details of wedding planning, and Megan is that and more. She was my correspondent for the florist, musicians, venue, bench companies, transportation, caterer, bartender, photographer... And more. I was beyond impressed with everything Best Event provided, from the big stuff like tents and dance floors and lighting, to every little decoration or idea Pinterest could dream up! Big Thank You to everyone at Best Event, you guys rock.

Great rentals for reception and ceremony items. They setup and tear down items and pick them up for you. Super convenient and affordable for chairs, background for head table, and lighting.

Best Event Rental was great to work with. I had to adjust my numbers quite a bit, but they were so quick to make sure I had to new total and quote within minutes of getting off the phone with them. They are so accommodating and even thought of things like fans for our guests since we got married in July. We ended up getting small fans that would attach to our tent, and a couple days before they called me saying they were damaged. They ended up refunding us the cost of the fans and gave us standing fans to place in the tent for free! It was something I totally wasn't expecting, but they went out of their way to accommodate the inconvenience.

I would totally recommend this rental to anyone in the area.

Great to work with- they were very professional and clear about services and prices with detailed invoices. They were easy to get in contact with when I needed to change our items. The delivery service is very inexpensive and made everything much easier. They have a wide selection and made my wedding a lot easier!

Everything was very easy to reserve, and I was able to make changes up until about a week before the wedding. If I had a question, someone was there with an answer or they were very quick to call me back. They have a huge selection. They did deliver everything in a timely manner and assembled the tent. However, I was not there at the time of arrival and had not discussed the positioning of tables. I hope that is the reason the tables and chairs were not set up for me. It took a little more time to set up than I would have liked, and a phone call would have been nice, but it wasn't the worst thing in the world! Overall, it was a great experience.
