Bent Tree was a perfect match for my small, last minute wedding. Due to my husband's military profession, we could not be 100% sure that he would even be able to make it to the wedding. Jackie and Kayla helped me plan the ceremony and reception as if there was no doubt and made me feel confident that things would go smoothly on our big day. It ended up raining for the ceremony so we had to have it inside but everything was still great. The staff was very kind and flexible with every detail. The food was delicious and the room looked perfect. Kayla even rode around on a golf cart with our photographer to help us get the pictures we wanted. Overall, I have no regrets about choosing Bent Tree and would recommend them to anyone looking for a ceremony and/or reception venue.

The venue was awesome. The staff was always quick to respond to my (many!) Emails. The food was amazing and everyone was stuffed! A wonderful value. Got way more than expected for the price paid.

Bent Tree Golf Course was the best! We had an amazing night with everything running so smoothly the whole time. They were extremly helpful and easy to work with and answered all my questions right away. They really payed attention to detail on even the smallest things like bringing our bouquets into the dressing room for us while we were getting ready. The price was outstanding in terms of wedding packages and the food was great! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great place at a great price.

When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception in the Columbus area, and our Internet searching led us to Bent Tree Golf Club, in Sunbury. They were wonderful from the very beginning. We have nothing but great things to say about them! The location was convenient for our traveling guests, and the grounds are beautiful. Their all-inclusive packages include all fees and taxes, so there are no hidden charges. Their prices were some of the most reasonable that we found.

Jackie Packer (the director of sales) and Bret Wiley (the chef and food & beverage director) were wonderful - very helpful, patient, and quick to respond to questions during the planning. Bret was very accommodating and helpful during our tasting. He went through the entire plan for the evening, asking me stuff that I hadn't even thought about yet - very thorough. He spent over an hour with us privately, discussing everything, and I thought that was very nice to do, since he is the head chef, and he stayed late just to meet with us. He tweaked the salad for us to add candied walnuts, answered all of our questions, and even provided the head table with my husband’s favorite beer at no charge.

Bret was on-site at the rehearsal the night before and made sure the banquet was set up exactly how we wanted it. The ceremony site was set up at an angle to prevent the parking lot from being in the background as we walked down the aisle. The ceremony site is very close to the parking lot, so it was convenient for our guests with mobility issues. Bent Tree supplied golf carts for us to take pictures before the ceremony, and they were waiting for us when we arrived. We provided our own char covers for the banquet room and put them on because it was cheaper then having Bent Tree supply and set them up, but Bent Tree’s staff handled everything else. All of the decorations were placed correctly, and they were even able to store the little bottles of water for the ceremony in their refrigerators. Everything was perfect on our wedding day. We had a buffet, and the food was delicious (especially the pretzel crusted chicken). The food was appropriately hot or cold, and the line moved quickly. They accommodated those with restricted diets with special plated meals (custom designed in advance based on the guests’ preferences). The banquet staff was very friendly, efficient, and polite. The wedding cake was cut into good size pieces (when my sister got married, her venue cut the slices so thin that guests were disappointed, and they had a ton left afterwards). The bartenders were fast and friendly. After the wedding, the staff cleaned up all of the decorations and had them neatly boxed up for my family to pick up the next day.

In conclusion, we were very happy with our decision to choose Bent Tree as our wedding venue, and we highly recommend them.

Choosing Bent Tree for our wedding reception was truely the best descision we could have made. We looked at many reception locations and noticed that the people were not easy to work with, they cooked their food offsight, or the costs were not reasonable. When we met with Jackie she was wonderful to work with and the cost was right in our budget. We dealt directly with Bret, the executive chef, for our entire planning process and he was absolutely wonderful! They really cater to all of our needs and specific requests because they truely want your wedding reception to be perfect.

Excellent venue for a wedding ceremony and reception. Friendly staff and very flexible for our needs. Wonderful for older folks or disabled in your family and/or friends as there are no stairs and everything is on one level. A little difficulty with returning phone messages, but other than that the staff was always willing and friendly with any questions/concerns we had.

We had a few hiccups in the planning process because they lost their long-time event coordinator, but the Manager and Kitchen Manager pulled together and made sure everything went smoothly. They let us store our decorations there a week before the wedding so we could get them out of our way. They helped my mother and our coordinator put up the decorations (at no extra cost). They were absolutely wonderful! We had about 150 people in the banquet room for a buffet dinner and the guests said it was the perfect size. We had our ceremony outside and it was absolutely georgous!!! The food was delicious!!!! (We had the Italian buffet - it wasn't just standard spaghetti and meatballs). They also prepared to-go plates for my husband and I since we didn't eat much during the Reception.
