Getting married in the Basilica is a one of a kind experience. It is truly an unbeatable venue. The ceremony musicians are wonderful as well. We had Daniel Bayless and Danielle Svonavec and they were wonderful. If you want a beautiful and traditional venue this is definitely the place for that! It was especially special for me and my fiancé because our first date was mass there followed by brunch and he then proposed there as well :)

The experience of holding our ceremony at The Basilica was well worth any inconveniences. The administrator/organizor for the ceremony was rude. She yelled at me and my husband in front of our families and friends which was unexpected and embarassing.
We felt it to be rather disrespectful behavior by this woman inside such a wonderful place and were unnecessarily embarassed in front of our loved ones and firends.
Afterwards, we were told that all couples being married there have the same experiences with her.

The organist was very talented, but he played the wrong song when I walked down the aisle. Overpriced.

We took part of our photos here, and had a second shorter ceremony for photography purposes. I would not pay to rent the location, but for photos, it is very, very nice.
