My husband and I met at work and what began as a simple friendship slowly blossomed into something deeper. After a memorable trip to New York, my health took an unexpected turn, and I found myself in and out of the hospital. Through every difficult moment, he was there, steadfast, loving, and devoted. It was during that time we realized just how precious life is and how deeply we loved each other. So, we followed our hearts and decided to get engaged and married within the same month. It was a whirlwind, but one filled with love, excitement, and a sense of purpose for our future together.

We booked Christine with Barefoot Royalty for our wedding after meeting her at a bridal expo in Statesboro, GA. The Queen of Hearts package was the one that best suited our needs, which included an engagement session as well. My husband and I decided that we would like to have our session at the river on his dad’s property and Christine was on board and filled with excitement from the start! Little did she know our session would involve a dog, canoe, boat, champagne, and a very awkward couple. With all of these props, obstacles, and survival taking pictures from a moving riverboat in the Ogeechee, Christine got us through our engagement session. We were instantly blown away after our pictures arrived within the timeframe given!

Our wedding day quickly arrived and was exciting, fun, and busy right from the start. Christine had a photography schedule for us to follow and worked as hard as possible to keep all of us on track (which was a VERY challenging task in itself). After the ceremony, Christine recommended “golden hour” pictures while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. As much as I was excited to start visiting and celebrating with our guests, I am so happy she encouraged us to take the time because the pictures are PERFECT!

The week of the wedding, we decided to book an extra hour with Christine to be able to capture more of our reception. Honestly, aside from booking Barefoot Royalty in the first place, this may have been our best decision yet! She and her second shooter stayed until 9 PM and captured so many fun reception pictures that we would not have had otherwise! Christine stayed in touch as the weeks passed while we waited for our full gallery to arrive… and boy were they worth the wait!!!

Being able to relive our wedding day through the pictures has been so much fun. We are blown away by the talent she has, attention to detail, and how everything turned out. Hiring Christine was undoubtedly the best decision we made for the wedding. We've had the pleasure to work with her in a photoshoot a few years back, so we knew she would be a great fit for our big day. She was punctual, professional, communicative, and just so good at helping us get comfortable when we were normally the most awkward people in front of cameras. Christine is absolutely fabulous!! She photographed our elopement and I am in love with the results. She was amazing at managing our friends and families and not to mention my dress! Which had a beautiful long train that needed to be adjusted for all the photos. The amount of work (and love) she puts into everything is incredible.
