Ballard Blossoms never disappoints. I have use the many times to send flowers to friends and they always have unique beautiful creations.

My son and his fiancé had a small wedding at pikes place. She did not want a bouquet but instead a large wrist corsage. We sent Ballard Blossom a picture of what we liked and all of the exact flowers one available they meet a gorgeous full corsage out of roses.

It was perfect.

We encountered florists reeking with talent. While our daughter was "assigned" a florist for her wedding, when she was away, another stepped in to ensure we were immediately taken care of. Everyone was wonderful. They made many productive suggestions based on their extensive experience. We felt the floral love. <3!

I LOVED our flowers! Tajah was amazing! I just gave her a bit of direction and she ran with it and made everything look stunning. I was very happy with the final product!

Jean does the most amazing arrangement of flowers - she is to scale with the big flower vendors in the city. She is a sweetheart and can do pretty much anything you ask her.

Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous for our wedding! Most florists charged a minimum to do flowers for our event, we really enjoyed the flexibility Ballard Blossom had. We could order exactly what we needed and extra. I would gladly use them again.

Large choice selection. Very honest about probability of obtaining and cost of out of season flowers. Delivery was punctual. The flowers were beautiful!

They couldn't fit my budget, but the quality of the work made me forget it on the day of. I spent $600 on 1 bride bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 groom boutonniere, and 5 groomsmen boutonnieres, and 3 mother's corsages. I appreciated that after the consult, I received three options for "good/better/best" budget so I could weight the trade-offs and ultimately decide to exceed my budget for the big day. The bouquets held up well throughout the day and looked stunning in pictures!

We met with Taj Downey, who helped us pick what types of flowers and arrangements we might like by showing us numerous "decks." I didn't have fabric scraps with me at the time, but she was still able to use our descriptions to put together creations that matched our colors very well.

I think they charge a standard $150 / bridal bouquet, because when I asked about potentially changing the types of flowers to make it less expensive, she said she'd just change the numbers of each flower type she would use and charge the same amount. Since we had a bit of sticker shock, we asked if we could trim down some of the bouquets to make them more affordable. It took some time for her to get back to us (a week? I forget by now...), but she did provide us new estimates. We even considered cutting rosebuds from my husband's (family's) backyard and making the corsages ourselves, but we needed to use a professional to ensure that we had enough young buds (rather than full-blown, open roses) available on wedding day.

I really appreciate that Taj called us a few days before our final invoice was due to remind us, because I had been traveling and completely forgotten about it! She also let us change our order pretty late in the game -- cutting out centerpieces, adding extra corsages). We had an AM wedding, and even though their storefront isn't open until 8, they made sure someone was available for us to pick up our flowers at 7:30 (we didn't want to pay the delivery fee).

So yes, going with any professional florist is pricey, but Ballard Blossom's prices were reasonable, and we used them for our bouquets & corsages. The rest of the arrangements / church decorations we got at Pike Place Market for $5-$15 each ;) They would have cost another $200 if we had a florist do them anywhere else...
