We had Mike G for our wedding recently. He was absolutely amazing. Not only did he make sure the reception ran smoothly and on schedule but he kept the dance floor packed with people chanting for more at closing time. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Simply incredible. From the professionalism, to the get right down in with the crowd! From the ceremony, to the last song. Everything was on point and exactly what we asked for. He dressed to match our wedding party, because he basically was apart of our wedding party. He coordinated our entire day/evening/night. Kept things on schedule, played everything we asked for, and more. Beyond impressed and happy with the entire thing. We recommend this DJ company for any occasion!!!!!!

Born and raised on a farm in central North Dakota, Mike began his DJ career in 1999 while attending Northland College in Thief River Falls, MN. Once he received his degree in Broadcast Communications, he joined the team at XL93 in Grand Forks, ND as an on-air radio host. Mike hosted popular shows such as "The Party Zone" and "The Edge." In 2004 Mike created Backspin Productions, where he started mobile DJing events full time. Mike has trained over 100+ Mobile DJ's helping them kick start their careers. Mike enjoys listening to all genres of music. He is very outgoing, organized, and personable. In his spare time, Mike loves to fish along with many other outdoor activities. Most importantly, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. Specializing in weddings and company events, Mike has helped over 2500 clients plan, organize, and celebrate their special event.
