Since we were eloping, we skipped the big wedding cake and opted for cupcakes instead. We chose the Old Fashioned Cupcakes - and OMGosh they were to die for! Just like my gramma used to make. Spectacular food, great pricing - we will be back!

What a wonderful experience working with Back in the Day and Cheryl for our wedding cupcakes. They were wonderful and made every attempt to make the day special and personal to us as a couple. Cheryl even incorporated the honey used as favors, made by my bee-keeper dad, into the carrot cake. All of our correspondence was delightful and speedy! I would tell anyone that if they are looking for the best tasting, sweetly presented and personal wedding day cake or cupcakes that this is the place to go!!

Having been a long-time patron of Back in the Day during college, there was no question in my mind that since my wedding was in Savannah, my cake MUST come from back in the day! It was perfection! Old-fashioned cake with italian butter cream icing! We had a dessert table with tons of confections from the bakery! Lavender cookies, Mexican Hot Chocolate cookies, baby cakes in different flavors... oh it was great! My husband and I took boxes of each treat with us on our honeymoon and enjoyed them very much! Cheryl is just such a sweet-heart and working with her was great! The service is unparalleled and it is simply the best cake in Savannah. Hands down!

I ordered 4 cakes to round out our dessert table. Pretty straight forward. I had to call a few times before I got someone on the phone to place the order, but it wasn't really a problem. We had a LOT of cake leftover so I did get to try all the flavors. The double chocolate was my favorite!
