My husband and I both have a dairy allergy, so finding a vegan wedding cake was a big goal of ours! We found BabyCakes, and we weren't disappointed. We got a lime flavored cake for our big day, and it was beautiful-- and delicious!

Tricia, the owner, let us try six different flavors for free. We settled on four different flavors for the wedding. She was super responsive via email and even rented us a cupcake stand for a refundable deposit of $20. The value was amazing and Tricia was so kind. So glad we went here!

Working with Tricia was a breeze. It was so fun to get to order a number of different flavors, and her flexibility with gluten-free and dairy-free accommodations was straightforward. We got exactly what we ordered and everyone raved about the flavor, texture, and size of these cupcakes. The cupcakes were ready on time, and beautifully iced. Will definitely order again, and highly recommend!

Tricia was amazing and so were the cupcakes! Everyone loved them! She let us pick what we wanted to sample and we just went and picked them up, it was super easy. She came to the venue to set up the cupcake stand and was so helpful. I would highly recommend going to baby cakes if you are wanting to have cupcakes at your wedding. I am looking forward to using her again for other events!

Tricia did a fantastic job with the cupcakes for our wedding! She delivered them, set up the tier, and added floral decorations - it looked so pretty! Most importantly, she is great about working with clients with food allergies! My husband and several of our family members are Celiac, so we wanted all our cupcakes to be gluten free. Her selection of gluten free flavors was immense. We went with the carrot cake, pecan, and marble, and they were so good you would never know they were gluten free.

From the very first email for information all the way through our wedding day, Tricia was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped us navigate the variety of flavors and options for our cupcakes and mini cake, was very generous with a six-cupcake tasting with our choice of flavors, and worked tirelessly to make the perfect mini cake. She was always available to answer questions and offer advice, gave us straight information on budget and pricing, helped us narrow down design ideas and choose the perfect arrangement. Bonus points for being LGBT friendly and willing to work with a lesbian couple. She even helped us find the perfect rainbow cupcake liners and also created a rainbow design on the mini cake for a hint of pride! And of course everything was absolutely delicious and our guests raved about the flavors, especially the morning jolt cocktail cupcake. I would absolutely recommend Tricia and BabyCakes Cupcakes for any event!

I can't say how happy I am about choosing Babycakes to do our cupcakes! We chose to use Tricia after tasting pretty much all of the cupcakes in Lexington and she blew the competition out of the water flavor and texture wise. However she was really above and beyond what I expected. She was prompt at answering my emails, she helped me come up with a number to accommodate my guests (even though I didn't listen and ordered more!) and she even delivered and set up the cupcakes the day of. As a bride living in Orlando, planning a wedding in Lexington, Tricia was beyond accommodating. She was accessible, answered every email and correspondence in a timely manner, and went above and beyond to ensure everything would be perfect for our big day. Her confections are absolutely DELICIOUS and I would recommend her to anyone. When we came up to Kentucky about 10 months before the wedding to try all of the bakers in the area, she was hands down our choice.
