Brandy is amazing to work with! My husband and I both hate having our pictures taken, but Brandy made it so easy and fun! We did engagement pictures with her as well as wedding photos and we will for sure be using her for any other photo needs!

Brandy is hands-down my favorite photographer. I love the emotion and details she captures in her photos. She and her husband are the cutest couple who captured every detail of my wedding. The pictures Brandy did for my engagement session, bridal session, and wedding are perfect and will be cherished for many years.

Brandy is an absolute sweetheart from the initial contact through the entire process however we were left feeling disappointed.

I asked multiple times if there would be a second shooter and based on our personal feedback, and feedback from other guests, we truly believe this was not the case. Although her husband was with her it seemed they stayed together instead of splitting up to cover the room, and have more shots from different angles, or he was switching out her lenses.

Also, there were several standard pictures that I thought would have been included without even asking. To name a few: a picture of the venue; a picture of our in memory of/family table; each groomsmen walking down the aisle; a picture of myself and my stepdad when I first saw my husband and started to walk down the aisle; all the bridal party pairs during the recession; pictures of each of the guests/tables or at least us talking to each of the tables. The in memory of/family table was especially an important one for us.

There also seemed to be a lot of single pictures of a moment, which I know Brandy considers “the best of the best” but we think we should also have a choice to choose what we consider the best. After initial follow-up with Brandy on our pictures she went back and added 150 pictures. Some we think are actually better than what she originally included and some were the ones we felt were missing from the beginning. We often get the question, if she could easily add 150 pictures what other pictures did we not received?

Lastly, I would also expect a photographer to provide additional direction on how to pose for pictures since no one at our wedding was a professional model. There was minimal direction for group pictures and some of the poses she did have us do as couple look awkward/terrible. Our wedding ended up being inside due to rain, which made it tough to get everyone to come back for group pictures, however it felt like the whole thing was rushed and Brandy and her husband were annoyed. There are no fun moments of our wedding party like you see with most wedding pictures and, looking back at the pictures, even our families were dissatisfied with the lack of direction when they were part of the group pictures.

Knowing our pictures would capture memories of one of the best days of our lives, we went over our budget and even paid for an extra half hour to ensure moments were not missed. At the end of the day we do not believe we received what we paid for, and although there are some good pictures, every time we look at our pictures, we are still left feeling let down. Although I provided Brandy with a wish list, my biggest advice is to not assume any picture will be captured and to write down every single one of your expectations plus your wish list.

I would recommend Brandy as a photographer for mini sessions and engagement sessions but not for a wedding. Again, on a personal level I love Brandy, and it hurts me to even write this review, however on a professional level I would never want another couple to end up feeling the way we do.
