However, once I met Jennifer and Jamie the fears I had dissipated! The first conversation we shared over a phone call brought me immediate peace. Jennifer spoke with clarity, and she was so intentional with her words. I could tell it wasn't only her job, but her passion to ensure your dream as the bride comes to life. It was a joy and pleasure to get to know both Jennifer and Jamie! Jamie was the on-site wedding planner for the day of the wedding. She was amazing! If chaos were to ensue, Jamie brought calm to every situation. Her focus was on my husband and I, it was lovely to know that she was our voice and stood her ground to make sure every wish of ours came true regardless of anyone else's desire or opinion. It would've not been the beautiful day it was without these two ladies! I couldn't recommend them enough.

Hiring At the Alter Events was the best decision we ever made. I was extremely stressed planning the wedding over the course of two years and got to the point where I was just not even looking forward to the wedding at all. We did not originally plan to hire a wedding planner, so by the time we booked Jennifer my venue and most venders where booked. I wish I had booked Jennifer from day one. She has the fastest response time of anyone I have ever met. I would sent emails at all hours when questions came to mind, thinking she will respond the next day. Most of the time, the response was within hours. She helped me find the final vendors I needed, communicated with vendors, helped with design ideas, led the rehearsal, helped answer questions I never even thought to ask, and was even more amazing day of. She handled everything! I did not need to make any decisions or lift a finger. She set everything up and took it all down. I just needed discuss with her the day before how I wanted the big picture to look. My guests and vendors could not stop raving about her. When the wedding day came, it was perfect and worth all the stress. That was only possible because of Jennifer and her team. I will recommend her to everyone and everyone.

Jennifer was incredible to work with for our wedding. We live out of state, so had to plan everything remotely and had a lot of trouble locking down vendors even as late as a month before the wedding. Even though Jennifer was just our day-of coordinator, as soon as she came on, she helped us organize everything. Jennifer asked for our vendor contracts and as soon as she received them, she immediately got in contact with each vendor, ensured every logistic was accounted for between the various vendors, and reminded us when our decisions and payments were due to each. She visited the venue multiple times to truly understand the space and sanity check our wedding plan. We had an entirely outdoor event and leading up to the day, the forecast consistently showed rain. We were really stressed about the weather, but Jennifer calmly helped us work out rain plans with all of our vendors and on wedding day, even brought two extra pop-up tents for our musicians to play under.

In addition to smoothly executing everything leading up to the event, Jennifer was extremely thoughtful and helpful at every point throughout the day of the wedding. She made sure we never had to worry about a thing and was there by our side helping with something before we could even ask — her level of care made us we feel so special and made our short amount of time with everyone feel especially intimate and magical.
