Ash was one of the best decisions we made for our day! We had originally planned to use the photography included in our wedding package, but I just wasn't impressed with what they had to offer. I'm a designer by trade, and my photography was very important to me. Ash's work is modern, airy, classy, and most importantly genuine. My biggest pet peeve is overly staged cookie cutter photography, so I was thrilled to see her work. What a breath of fresh air!
Ash was extremely responsive to all of my questions, comments, and concerns. She even worked with me on pricing so that we could afford to have her capture the day. To me, this was a testament of someone who does what they love for a living and genuinely cares for her clients.
She could not have been more sweet to our guests and family, but also managed to get us all together effectively to be sure we got the shots we needed. She was very personable and actually got to know us over the course of the day, which made the whole process much more comfortable and allowed her photos to reflect us as people. We are not lovey dovey folks, and I didn't want my photos to look like we were trying to be something we aren't. She captured us perfectly.
When we had to move the time of our wedding, I had expressed to her how upset we were that we wouldn't be able to get the sunset photos we had hoped for. Ash sacrificed her personal time, to take a second round of couples photos on the beach at sunset so that we were able to have the photos we had originally hoped for, just out of the kindness of her heart. What an incredible person and the photos turned out great!
The pictures were sent to me via portal within a few weeks and were AMAZING! I wasn't expecting to receive them so fast! To add even more to a positive experience, I received an email from Ash a few weeks later asking permission to feature our photos IN A MAGAZINE! Her photography was so incredible that it was featured in the first issue of "I Do Y'all "
I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. If you're on the fence DO IT, she wont let you down. Thank you so much Ash! and sorry this took so long!!

Ash was our engagement and wedding photographer! I know making decisions on wedding vendors can be stressful, but I’m here to tell you, you CANNOT go wrong with Ash!

Her photos are stunning and her work can speak for itself. (We are over the moon with all of the images she has given us!) However, having someone that cares about your vision, takes time to answer questions and make you feel comfortable and goes above and beyond is equally important in a photographer. Ashley did all of those things and more. She was fun to work with and worked seamlessly with our family, friends and other vendors.

Ash Simmons is creative, TALENTED, professional and down to earth, making her the best wedding photographer I could have ever asked for.
I was determined to have a certain style photography to capture the exact moments I wanted from my big day. I searched through TONS of photographers locally, and none could make the cut. After a little bit of outreach online, I found Ash. She was SO responsive, and our first conversation honestly was calming my pre-wedding nerves. I immediately felt support from her before I even completed booking! Ash had decided to travel to SC from FL to shoot our wedding, which was AWESOME. She had everything planned out and made her travel plans to perfectly coordinate with our schedule.
Through the chaos (... or what I would call it based on my experience... :p) of wedding planning, Ash had a way of breaking down timelines, suggesting great shots that I would have forgotten to request, and organizing more than just her duty as the photographer.
And let me tell you about the photos! They are phenomenal. She captured our family in photos that I will cherish looking at over and over again, forever. If I could rate her 6 stars out of 5 I would, because she is a step ahead of the best.
