Amy was beyond fabulous! In addition to being an incredibly talented photographer, she was very professional, responsive, and warm. We truly loved having her be the one to capture our wedding day and will absolutely be using her for all future shoots!

We had Amy do our wedding and engagement photos and were blown away by her and her work. Outside of the beautiful photos we received from Amy, she was absolutely wonderful to work with. Amy made us feel comfortable immediately, recommended a beautiful location for our engagement photos, gave us just enough direction during our shoots to ensure we got the best shots possible, was flexible to our timeline the day of the wedding, and was simply a joy to be around. I cannot recommend Amy enough and I know my husband and I will be using her for any other photography needs we have in the future!

My wife and I had the best experience with Amy with both our engagement shoot and wedding day photography. Amy recommended a beautiful spot for our engagement photos and captured so many excellent moments. It was hard to select our favorite so we had to include the majority of the photos on our wedding website! In preparing for our wedding she was very flexible with our timeline and working within the church photography restrictions. She was still able to capture amazing photos in the cathedral and at the botanic gardens on one of the busiest days of the year! She took the thinking out of the equation and we felt very relaxed around Amy which made our smiles genuine and poses natural. Amy will not disappoint!

Amy was great! I had her and her assistant photographer and they were incredibly seamless in how they worked throughout the day. Amy was straightforward, while also picking up on the vibes of the moment. She took initiative, but also listened to our initial picture requests. Both the mother of the bride and mother of the groom mentioned how they appreciated they way she worked. My husband and I were concerned about feeling like pictures were too much, and Amy made sure we didn't get overwhelmed. The pictures she took and edited looked amazing. I have looked at them so many times and the angles, lighting, and moments are all so great. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who listens to your wants, and captures things you never knew you needed!

Amy is great! She’s so fun and easy to work with. She listens and makes the entire planning process fun and easy, which can be very rare during wedding planning! We will definitely use her again and I highly highly recommend her!

I can’t rave enough about Amy! On our first call, it was like talking to a friend. She helped me outline exactly what I was aiming for. We had great communication leading up & when the day arrived, Amy was early & more than willing to lend a hand wherever she could! No joke - this gal was wrangling balloons blowing away & helping clean up spilled ranch. Coming from an event planner, I can tell you she is a prayer answered! So all this to say, when you book Amy, you’re not just getting a professional, talented photographer & artist, you’ve got a friend at your side for all the unexpected. You can’t put a price on that!

Having Amy as our wedding photographer was an absolute delight. My wife and I planned a backyard elopement in a week because we were tired of not being married and didn't want to wait out the covid craziness. My wife contacted Amy the Monday before our Friday evening wedding and she was immediately responsive with answers to questions, and even moved another appointment to accommodate our wedding day. She showed up to my house and walked right in and introduced herself like we were old friends and made herself at home, which in turn calmed me down and made me more comfortable with the idea of her taking pictures of us. Amy was easy to talk to, had a lot of great ideas for pictures without being cheesy and over the top like a lot of photographers are these days. She worked wonders with our photographs, and seemed to turn a simple backyard wedding with patchy grass and bad lighting because of overcast rain clouds, into a beautiful event that looks like it could've been at any fancy event center with a team of photographers. Amy was laid back, yet professional and took beautiful pictures without over editing and making them look like a bad instagram filter. She will certainly be our official photographer going forward with any future family milestones, and I can't wait to work with her again!

Using Amy as our elopement photographer was the best decision we made for our CoronaVirus Wedding. We decided to get married about 6 days before the wedding, and we found Amy about 3 days before! I immediately felt at peace with our decision to book her even though I knew we wouldn't officially meet until about 30 minutes before the wedding. With only 8 people at our wedding and our photographer being one of them it was so important that we got great photos while also feeling comfortable in such an intimate setting. Amy photographed the joy of our day perfectly, capturing incredible memories seamlessly with grace and just enough direction for us to feel comfortable but not overly posed. Every single photo wildly exceeded my (very high) expectations. I'm so grateful we found her and Amy was so flexible to work with us on such short notice during such a crazy time. I can't wait for her to document the coming milestones of our lives beyond the wedding and am so grateful for the photos we'll cherish forever.

Easiest 5-Star Review I've written. Amy Lacy did a tremendous job for our wedding and we will be hiring her for family photos for sure. She was so much fun and made the session easy and exciting. She was creative and really felt like we had a best friend taking our photos instead of someone we just met. She's extremely thoughtful and attentive and will blow your minds if you give her a shot. You will not be disappointed.
