Amy Burke designed the mandap and provided all of the centerpiece and other decorative flowers for our combined Hindu/Christian wedding and reception at Thomas Fogarty Winery last September. Everything was PERFECT. She brought to life exactly what we wanted - from the stunning mandap to our lush Jai Malas to my unbelievable once-in-a-lifetime ombre petal runner!! Her team is confident and professional and you know you are in good hands with them. They built our sturdy and gorgeous mandap and after our ceremony they expertly deconstructed everything, loaded up all of the flowers, and drove them back to San Mateo, repurposing all of the flowers for our nighttime reception!! It was MAGIC.

Your planning meetings with Amy Burke will be a little overwhelming in the best way - only because you are in her amazing design studio and Amy and her assistants know EVERYTHING about flowers. They will listen to all of your ideas, requests, cultural requirements, and then tell you exactly what they can deliver given the season of your wedding, the sturdiness of certain flowers, and other factors you might have never considered.

Amy Burke and her team did an amazing job with the flowers for both the ceremony and the reception. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were from the chuppah, to my bouquet to the table arrangements. We had an ombre theme and the flowers came out better than I imagined.

Our flowers were more than we could have imagined.

One of the most creative women I have ever met! Words cannot describe how talented this lady is. She is easy to contact, available to meet when you request, and is extremely gifted in floral design. I loved meeting with her in person. Her office is adorable and you are able to see her many different visions that she can create. If you just view her website, you can also visually see what she designs. She is just phenomenal!
On the day of our wedding, when her assistant brought in the flowers, everyone in the room just stopped and stared at the beautiful bouquets. She was able to match my colors with the flowers that I desired. I thought this was perfect, but then when I saw the area where we were going to have our reception, I cried tears of joy. The room was breathtaking and it was everything that I envisioned and more.
Amy is also the perfect vendor because she has great connections and recommendations. Through Amy I found 2 of my other vendors: cake and photography. Together, they all worked cohesively to make the wedding beautiful and memorable. She is just so fantastic!

Amy was the florist for my wedding on September 2 at the Mark Hopkins in San Francisco. I first heard of her through the recommended vendor list from my venue, and I also found out that she had previously worked on other weddings with my planner, Wendy Harrop. I was very happy that Amy had done other weddings at the Mark Hopkins as I knew that meant she would be familiar with the venue space and the look of the rooms, as well as familiar with the vendor policies of the hotel.

I did not have a very strong vision in mind for my flowers. The first time I met with a florist, I felt like this was a problem as I didn't have answers to all the questions the florist had. However, when I met with Amy, she made me feel at ease. She helped me understand what I liked and didn't like by showing me different examples of arrangements and personal flowers. She incorporated the particular requests I did have in to her proposed designs, such as the flowers I knew I wanted for my bouquet, as well as some elements I knew my fiance had mentioned liking at previous weddings.

Amy was also creative in helping me make decisions that allowed me to save money on some arrangements and mixing those arrangements with the larger, more costly designs that I liked.

On the day of my wedding, I was blown away by the size and beauty of all the flowers. They complemented the look of the venue perfectly. I received multiple comments from friends and family as to how stunning the flowers were for the event. I am extremely happy with all of the effort Amy and her team put towards my wedding day.
