Amber Grider was so wonderful and EASY to work with. To be honest, I knew that photography was high on my list of priorities but I had NO idea what I wanted, I had NO idea if we would be good in front of the camera, and I had NO idea how all of our tiny little details would translate into photo form!

Luckily, I had Amber! Being the talented guru of photographer that she is, she led me through all of the most important questions and even helped me in my early stages of planning out the day-of schedule of events! I got some free wedding advice right off the bat! After the initial questions, she called a few days before to check in on some of the details and then we were set! I trusted her 100 percent because I knew that she would capture the intimate moments I had seen in so many of her photos before.

On the day of, Amber and Brian were an incredible team. They moved around us like soft hummingbirds, busy but cautious of our space and the moment we were sharing. Amber and Brian even talked to us before our First Look to express the importance of the moment and breathing it all in- we really needed that! Amber was so calming in her presence and she actually made me WAY less stressed than if I didn't have her there. Is there a term for a wedding/midwife/photographer, because she was it!

I can't express enough how important and vital Amber was on our special day. We received 277 photos, a few in black and white, all easily accessible and easy to share with our families. Amber is so talented, you will NOT regret choosing her to capture the best day of your life!

Where to begin!

My wife Katie and I were married in January of this year but had been working with Amber and her team for about a year prior to capture our engagement photos and planning for the big day. After a mishap on the day of the engagement photoshoot we had to reschedule and they were more than flexible in helping us find another day. We were planning on shooting in Joshua Tree and it was going to be raining, so Amber changed the plan and we ended up meeting in San Diego. It still ended up raining but Amber was able to capture our love in a way we didn't even expect.

In planning for the big day, we had a detailed conversation with Amber and Brian. They provided us a well thought out and organized list of personal items they were going to want to capture. This added a really nice and personal touch and the advanced planning gave us one less thing to worry about. On the day of, they were on time, efficient and made everyone extremely comfortable. The images they captured were detailed and amazing. The composition and color were perfect and we couldn't have been happier.

All in all, this was a fantastic experience with amazing people. If you are looking for an absolute dream team to capture every moment, hire Memory Machine and Amber Grider. You will not be disappointed!

She's an absolute joy to work with. Easy, flexible, cheery, light and happy. She knows exactly what she wants for a shot, and how to work with her subjects to help them shine in their pictures. Even my fiancée, who isn't a fan of being photographed, worked well with her and we got amazing engagement shots. I really don't think I could be happier with how our album turned out. We loved working with her so much, we had to use her for our wedding. Everything was magical.

Amber was AMAZING!! She was on top of everything g and knew what we were thinking before we had to ask. She had so many great posing ideas for our bridal party too. Our family photos came out amazing. Whether we were in full sun, sunset, a dark dance floor or a nearly all black foom, her photos came out great. She helped us stop and breath and be in the moment! To top it all off, the wedding book which she made and the DVD slides how were unreal. I consider myself artsy and into design, and I could not have done it better myself.
