Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Attention to every detail, highly organized, super friendly and fun atmosphere. Very knowledgeable staff. I won an entire bridal package, hair, nails, makeup, and hair and shave for my hubby. Very easy to work with, trial was amazing...no "caked on makeup". Nails perfect! Hair perfect! Tawni is the owner, but super amazing with hair! Danielle is amazing with makeup. Great salon, girls side, guys side, and cafe. Giving them a 5, does no justice to how amazing they are. Not a previous client, but definitely a new client!! Check them out!!

I actually visited a few salons in the Tempe, Mesa, and Scottsdale area. There were a few good ones, but I picked Altered Ego because the salon is really beautiful and really easy to relax in. It is now attached to a really cool coffee shop that everyone can relax in while you wait for appointments. They'll even allow you to set up and area with food that you bring in. Tawni, the owner, is really nice and a miracle worker with hair. I actually tried the same style in a couple other places with not very good results. During your trial she will take the time to experiment so you really know what you want. Jenni the receptionist is great and willing to work with you on appointments. Even if you have a lot of people there's so many stylists that were able to get 12 people in and out in 2-3 hours.

I love love loved my hair. It was just what I wanted, not only was my hair great but my bridesmaids were amazing too, unique and fabulous!

I absolutely loved my hair and makeup from altered ego! The woman who did my makeup was especially nice to be around. My hair turned out EXACTLY how i had pictured it. I did bring in a picture. I didn't even do a full trial for either just a pre consult. A friend payed for my hair/makeup so I'm not exactly sure on the value, but i know my my husband would spend it again because he cannot stop talking about how great i looked on our wedding day. My friend wasn't very happy with her hair she said she looked too prom. But, she is not one to speak up or I'm sure they would have fixed it.

I had booked my whole wedding party and my mother for their hair. We each had a different beautician. Ashley did mine and it was very pretty and held up all day. I had 3 bridesmaids, 2 of which also had nice hair done. I wish I knew who had done theirs. My third bridesmaid and mother's beauticians did not listen to what they had to say. My mother is still disappointed with her hair in our pictures. I'd recommend Ashley!!

Morgan is an amazing stylist and makeup artist. Ask for her, and only her for bridal styles.
