Wow! How do we even start this review of Allie and her team?! Allie is an absolute expert when it comes to providing photography timelines, vendor recommendations and of course her craft - photography. I was lucky enough to have met Allie years ago when she photographed one of my dear friends' weddings. She then went on to photograph a few more of my friends' weddings and I knew I didn’t even need to think about who to hire to shoot our wedding. My husband and I both knew that the photography for our wedding was going to be the most important investment we would make when it came to our big day. I didn’t care about all the other details - I just wanted beautiful photos of all my family and friends – and of course us! I can wholeheartedly confirm that Allie and her team knocked it out of the park. I was stressed beyond belief when our transport to the venue was running really late due to traffic and luckily Allie was able to pivot so quickly and make us all feel comfortable even being under the initial time crunch before the ceremony. Nothing like not sleeping the night before to really ramp up the stress before photography started. I was definitely nervous as to how everything would turn out for our big day considering we were running on fumes! The entire timeline was flawless and her team never once made us feel rushed or even overly posed for photos. The whole process felt incredibly organic and her ability to make us both feel comfortable was a feat in of itself (considering we both aren’t the most comfortable being the center of attention). I know I have heard it a million times by now but your big day really does go by in a blink of an eye. Knowing we had the absolute best team taking photos of memories that we can look at for the rest of our lives is beyond priceless. Whatever your budget is - make room for Allie. Fast forward to our wedding photos being delivered and I immediately started to cry my eyes out (happy tears of course). I never in a million years would have thought we would love EVERY photo but here we are having trouble trying to decide what to even pick for our wedding album. Seriously, hire her. Her work speaks for itself but beyond that you are getting an incredible human and absolutely stellar artist. We love you Allie!

Allie and her team were absolutely amazing, we've been to several wedding where photos can always be a major hiccup or very time consuming. Allie and her team had a plan, ran to it smoothly, got every single shot we could have ever asked for, communicated this plan to us ahead of time and capture absolutely stunning shots of the day. We are blown away by the sheer volume of photos we received as well, capturing every detail of the day. We know we will cherish all these shots for the rest of our lives, and could not recommend a better team!

Allie photographed our engagement photos, tea ceremony, and wedding day. Our engagement photos with her were our first professional photos ever taken together, and we had such a blast and received the most beautiful gallery in the sand dunes; we loved how comfortable Allie made us feel while being in front of the camera for the first time. This whole experience made us so excited for our wedding weekend. Between the engagement session and wedding weekend, we loved that we spent a few weeks fine-tuning our wedding day timeline to ensure that we had enough time to meet all our photo goals (adequate time for family photos, wedding party portraits, couple portraits, etc). We are so thankful that Allie does this with all her clients because we ultimately never felt rushed on our actual wedding day. Allie helped edit a highly thought-out timeline that allowed us to prioritize soaking in sweet, candid moments. When we look back at our wedding weekend, we appreciate how present we were the whole time, instead of feeling rushed through the day due to a "checklist of photos" to complete. Allie made sure we had ample time in our timeline to soak in the moment at all times instead of jumping into the next thing.

Allie really stands out in her ability to curate art in the form of photography (with both film and digital), while staying calm and professional and going above and beyond all expectations. What stands out the most is that Allie delivered the most massive album album to us (more photos than we expected), and it turns out that our most favorite photos were the candid ones of us that Allie set the tone and setting for! These were photos where Allie worked her magic in posing us effortlessly and created scenarios where we just focused on each other instead of the camera- these are our most cherished photos. We are so grateful. Allie has definitely mastered her ability to create art through photographs while making couples feel so comfortable. She has an eye for the most perfect shots and plays with lighting so magically that our gallery looked like something from our wildest dreams.

Upon getting our gallery back, we were so in awe of how natural and beautiful all our photos were. Each photo tells a beautiful story, and many remind us of special little moments that we had with each other full of joy from our wedding day. She always knew what to say to us or our wedding party and family to help us be in the moment, and it really shines through as we go through our gallery photos. Allie and her team were our rocks throughout our wedding weekend because they were so friendly and their calm presence kept us grounded from the beginning to end; she and her team worked so seamlessly together and had impeccable communication. With this, they were able to create a clear and concise plan with the videography team and the content creators, so every team member was ready and prepared for every moment.

What we especially loved was that Allie and her team expressed much care to our loved ones as well. They knew how to cheer up one of our little nephews who was feeling tired for family photos in which he ended up giving a sweet smile and laugh in the family photo. They showed so much grace to my grandma who was not able to walk fast. They always knew the right things to say while showing a lot of compassion. Our family members at our tea ceremony expressed that she and her team were so professional and friendly, and it felt like they were truly feeling so happy for our families. She and her team got through what seemed like a long family shot-list so effortlessly and seamlessly while making it so much fun. It really felt like Allie truly cheered us on as we embarked through each step of our wedding weekend. We felt so close to her already after our engagement photos, and we could not have imagined anyone else there as our photographer at our wedding.

We are so grateful that Allie came into our lives for our wedding season and will always remember her as a core part of the success of our wedding weekend. Thank you so much Allie!

In looking for a photographer for our wedding day, Allie came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator, Julie Scrivener. Allie was incredibly warm, kind and patient through multiple postponements from the start of planning our wedding in early 2019 to finally celebrating July 3, 2022. Allie is incredibly detailed and punctual and she helped me immensely with finalizing my day-of timeline and keeping us on schedule! An unexpected event in Balboa Park on a holiday weekend that could have caused a big bump in the road ended up a non-issue due to Allie’s quick thinking and positive attitude. My bridal party and guests were very much impressed by Allie’s attitude, professionalism and talent. The photos are incredibly beautiful, as expected. Omg, I cannot say enough about how amazing Allie is! She made my wedding so special and her vibe/personality was EXACTLY what I needed! The bridal party loved her so so much! It really was an easy and great day with Allie's help. She also sent the photos super quickly and they are AMAZING! I'm obsessed! There's so many great photos I don't think I could even pick a top 10! Booking her for weddings is definitely a MUST!

The day of, we worked with her associate Marlene. She was on top of everything and was very organized. Her and the other shooter were so friendly it helped make the day flow so easily and the photo taking felt so comfortable and natural which came across in all of the images.

I was in contact with Allie through the entire planning process. She was so professional and I lover her attitude. She was so supportive throughout the planning and even postponing of our wedding. She helped us with edits to our timeline and was always willing to listen to any stresses or concerns that we had leading up to the event.

Allie got our photos to us quicker than expected and we were blown away with the finished product! We have hundreds of images we are in love with. The entire process of working will Allie and her team was so easy, our only struggle will be figuring out how to narrow down our favorites! Our entire family has loved them and we are so thankful to have such beautiful images to share with those who COVID kept from being able to attend.

We got married on 9/1/19 at Galway Downs and the forecast was 98 degrees but it felt like 128. My husband’s forehead and neck had steady streams of beady sweat, my entire back was dripping in sweat and my gorgeous curls were falling flat as we took pictures all over the beautiful grounds. Not once did we ever mutter a single word of complaint because we simply let go and “let Allie.” Throughout the entire day my husband and I just kept saying how easy the day has been while Allie and her team frantically did everything in their power to make us feel comfortable. They kept apologizing for the heat and expressed their sympathy for our perceived agony but we just kept smiling and assuring them that we’re okay since we felt extremely at ease. Our wedding day was absolute perfection because we had Allie by our side. Allie graciously stepped into many roles on our wedding day: my dietician who maintained a steady supply of cold Gatorade to keep me (and the rest of the wedding party) hydrated, my makeup artist who regularly retouched my face when my sweat threatened to completely strip me off of foundation and my friend who made me feel absolutely beautiful and incredibly happy despite the inclement weather which could have easily turned even the most patient saint into a screaming banshee. As my husband and I went through our wedding gallery, our cheeks started to feel numb from smiling. Allie has captured pure, magical emotions on our day which keep transporting us back to one of the best days of our lifetime.

Having Allie as our photographer and Emma as our cinematographer was an absolute dream. As individuals, they are incredible artists, but together, they are an unstoppable, creative force to be reckoned with. Their honest passion for their craft is so evident in our pictures and wedding video and is carried over in how they took care of my husband and I that day. They were the best team to capture my Star Wars cosplay surprise for my husband. His “OH MY GOD, there’s a Jedi, R2D2 and Bobba Fett and OMYGOODDDDD CHEWBACCA IS AT MY WEDDING” reaction was magically captured by Allie and Emma.

We are forever grateful to have had Allie as our photographer on our wedding day. We have found our photographer for keeps. I cannot wait to have kids and call her in the future for family portraits. Allie is absolute magic, do not miss out.

AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER! There is a lot to consider when hiring vendors for your wedding, it can be so stressful. Hiring Allie to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! She is so flexible, great with communication during the planning process, and very efficient. She created a timeline for the wedding day and worked with our wedding planner and other vendors with ease. The wedding day went on without a hitch and Allie captured BEAUTIFUL photos. She made the most of every second and captures photos of us in a ton of different landscapes, scenery, lighting etc. We have a library of wedding photos that tell an amazing story of the day. Hiring Allie was one of the best decisions I could have made during our wedding planning process. She is a very professional, organized, and overall AMAZING photographer who knows her stuff.

We had our engagement shoot with her about a year before our wedding day to get to know her a little better and to get comfortable in front of the camera. The one thing I really like about Allie is that she knows how to direct you when you need it. Every single photo we received from that shoot was stunning.

Allie is so incredibly talented!! My husband and I used her for our engagement photos and wedding. I also used her for a boudoir photo shoot that my husband loved! I actually felt so comfortable with her because she is so down to earth and real. She does such an amazing job! She takes a ton of photos and creates an amazing album to highlight your best moments. She is extremely efficient with her photos also. We actually were done ahead of schedule on our wedding day leaving more time to enjoy each other. She ran the show at our wedding with directing people where to go and what they needed to do without being overly bossy. The bridal party loved her and our parents were so happy she captured all the shots they wanted for the family. I plan to use Allie again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone!!
