My friend and I visited Alara on two separate occasions. Our now husbands told us to go together, shop, laugh, etc. We made a day of it and decided to walk down to the store instead of driving.

When we got to the store with full intensions of finding an engagement ring to tell our guys to go buy, we were greeted with immediate judgement. We could just feel the store workers profiling us in our workout clothes, no guys with us, etc. It was a truly disappointing experience. We left about 10 minutes later, walked over to another shop, and had the best time - greeted with immediate professionalism and enthusiasm to help us find a ring.
