As the groom, my favorite part of the wedding planning was the cake tasting. After several tastings, A Piece of Cake was the clear winner. The staff was extremely nice, professional, and prompt. The cakes were absolutely delicious and it was hard to pick the flavors as they were phenomenal. Additionally, they don't nickel and dime for every thing like several other vendors.

Jen has got to be the best cake maker ever. Not only did she have us in her home to meet and test cake but sent us home with three different small cakes to try and share with friends to sample. She really goes above and beyond, makes it feel personal, and reminds you that it's your wedding and you should do what you want. She helped us figure out a design and even after we had made a decision, went an extra mile to give us one additional example which fit our wedding theme perfectly and we went with it! And for the real bottom line: her cake is AMAZING. moist, tender, flavorful, excellent cake/frosting/filling balance. I am still hearing raves about it months later. The only sad part was my husband didn't get to eat as much as he wanted! Save the top layer??? no, no, no, we're just going to call Jen again in a year.

We truly enjoyed working with Jen from A Piece of Cake in Odenton, Maryland. She presents a great looking and tasting cake for a great value. We enjoyed meeting with Jen during our initial consultation and really felt no need to look further, as her creativity and awesome tasting cake confirmed we wanted Jen to produce our wedding confection!

Cake was wonderful and delivered on time. It looked exactly like the picture I gave her. Only gripe is the website says free delivery for a 10 mile radius and while my event was 5-10 minutes away I got charged.
