Alex is an amazing photographer and also a super cool human! We live in MA and he came from Ohio to do our photos without charging extra. He is super nice, funny, and responsive, and was great to work with. His photos honestly speak for themselves- he is just an insanely good portrait photographer in particular. We also found his prices to be super reasonable for the quality of his work. Thank you Alex!!!

Alex was so great to work with. He is easy to talk to and he was great at making us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. In the end we were joking around on our own and having a good time! Besides this, Alex is just very good at what he does. He takes excellent photographs and is deft at navigating families, ceremonies, weather, etc to make sure that things go smoothly. The fact that he was willing to travel to do our wedding photographs was just a bonus, and hugely helpful. We love our wedding photos and have nothing but great memories of the experience.

We do not have enough positive things to say about Alex. He is exceptional on both a personal and professional level. He is such a nice person and really went out of his way to make our wedding photos (and wedding day) exactly what we had hoped for!

We found Alex as a mention on Reddit when searching for photographers, and after looking up his work on Instagram, his style and attention to detail immediately clicked with us. It was by far the best recommendation from a stranger on the internet we have ever found. Alex is from Ohio, but we are in Boston and got married in Rhode Island. Alex was more than willing to travel out here, not only for our wedding but also drove to Boston to spend an afternoon doing an engagement shoot for us (way after our engagement). From the start, he worked with us throughout the entire planning process, scheduling several check-in calls to ensure that planning was going smoothly and providing whatever support he could. Alex considers all aspects of the wedding in his planning. From schedule to venue, weather, lighting, and interactions with coordinators and other vendors, he is on top of everything. The man is incredibly detailed, thoughtful, and thorough.

Alex truly goes out of his way to make sure your big day is exactly what you want it to be. He genuinely treats you as a friend, not as a client. He is incredibly personable, puts emphasis on your wants and peace of mind, and all of his interactions are easy going. On our wedding day, I was getting really nervous because the weather was supposed to turn bad, and Alex spent all morning helping me keep things in perspective and calm me down. He’s awesome, and we’d grab a beer with the guy any day of the week. Honestly, he really goes above and beyond, and we would recommend him to anybody looking for a top-notch photographer (and human being).

Alex’s prices are also super reasonable. We have been to a ton of weddings, including many extravagant/over-the-top, and have seen wedding photos from many of them. Alex does better.
I (the bride) wanted a specific look for our photos. I wanted everything to look very natural, candid and lots of classic, black and white photos. I sent Alex lots of examples so he could see my vision, and he nailed it. I am absolutely obsessed with how everything turned out and he was by far the biggest compliment regarding vendors that we received from our guests. He didn’t miss a single moment, and we couldn’t be more thankful!

Alex did both our engagement and wedding photos and my husband and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. Alex is professional, personable, and catches amazing shots. He allowed us to be ourselves which was important to us. I highly recommend Alex for your engagement shot and wedding.
