We can only sing praises about Nick Gerber after having him as our wedding photographer. From the jump, he was friendly, accommodating, and incredibly easy to work with. We planned everything from a different city where we live, but that didn't stop him from understanding our vision! Nick and Frank, the studio manager, were so helpful and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Frank was always so courteous in answering questions & Nick was able to share his knowledge on the timing of our photos.
After alllll the prep work we did before the wedding, we had the chaos of the big day left. On the morning of the wedding, Nick brought such a calm and positive energy. He made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera & like we had known him forever.
Nick truly made our day feel extra special, and we’re so grateful to have had him photographing the best day ever. -

Stunning Photos and Stress-Free Day with Belen
We are beyond grateful to have had Belen Aquino from Gerber & Scarpelli as our wedding photographer for our weddding on September 21, 2024! We discovered her through a recommendation from Old St. Pat’s Church, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From the very beginning, Belen took the time to meet with us to discuss our wedding timeline and any specific photo requests we had. She offered great suggestions that helped us feel prepared and confident as we approached the wedding day. It was clear from the start that Belen was incredibly organized and thoughtful about every detail.
On our wedding day, Belen immediately made us feel at ease. My husband and I are usually uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Belen's warm and professional presence made us feel incredibly comfortable. She guided us through each photo session with ease and confidence, and the results were absolutely stunning.
After the ceremony, we took wedding party photos, and Belen was in full control, making sure everything was running smoothly. She communicated with the trolley driver, directed where to go, and ensured that we stayed on schedule, even with all the moving parts. Her leadership and ability to manage time meant that we made it to the reception venue right on time, without feeling rushed.
Belen's attention to detail and calm demeanor were especially helpful during a tricky family situation. She navigated the dynamics effortlessly, diffusing tension and keeping everything on track without anyone even realizing what was going on. We were so grateful for her ability to keep everything running smoothly in such a delicate situation.
Throughout the day, Belen took charge in the best possible way—directing the wedding party, making sure we were in the right places at the right times, and managing the flow of the day so we could all enjoy ourselves without any stress. We truly felt like we were in good hands the entire time.
In addition to her amazing work behind the camera, Belen also ensured that we stayed on timeline throughout the reception, guiding us through all the important moments without rushing us. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness were invaluable, and she truly made the entire day feel effortless.
One of the highlights of our experience was how quickly Belen shared photos with us. Right before the reception, she sent us a few sneak peeks via Airdrop, which was such a nice touch! A few months later, we received the full album, and it was packed with so many beautiful, heartfelt images. We were blown away by the quality and variety of the photos. Belen captured so many special moments, and we’re so glad we have those memories to look back on.
Our wedding party and family all had nothing but praise for Belen. She found unique and fun spots for photos, and the results were absolutely incredible. Everyone commented on how professional and easy to work with she was, and how seamlessly she directed the group for the photos. She made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.
We cannot thank Belen enough for making our wedding day unforgettable. Her professionalism, talent, and calm presence were everything we needed. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who will go above and beyond to capture beautiful moments and make your day stress-free! -

Couldn’t be happier
Belen, Nick, and the whole team at Gerber Scarpelli are top of the line. Belen does all of our family weddings - there’s no need to look any further. Her artistry and ability to take control and directive is exactly what a bride needs on her day. I feel like we got so much more than we paid for, and just couldn’t say enough good things about their professionalism, but really they just feel like they belong at the wedding. So so so happy we went with them. -

Nick Gerber was a DREAM to work with. When we met with him by zoom ahead of our wedding he said he wanted to be the wedding stress sham-wow for our day and honestly he was. Not only did he help coordinate, wrangle and set up a timeline, he helped the groomsmen put on their boutineers, helped get my veil in and helped bustle my dress, this is all in addition to capturing our day. His energy is contagious and I cannot wait to see the photos.
ALSO, he took the most amazing engagement photos of us. Nick was our second attempt at finding a photographer (we had a previous company we were working with but parted ways because we didn't *love* the work they produced). We feel like he really captured us, our love and our relationship. He took the time to figure out what was natural for us and what wasn't natural for us and helped us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and gave us direction. Again, cannot say enough great things. -

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Michael and the end results! The pictures are absolutely stunning and Michael was able to capture the day perfectly. His sense of humor played well with our wedding party and he worked flawlessly with the videographer the entire day. He does a great job at getting people in the right place and makes sure he gets the right shot. We can't recommend him enough! -

A+ Experience
We had the pleasure working with Gerber Scarpelli and Belen Aquino for both our 2020 micro wedding and then again in 2021 during our larger wedding celebration. Like many couples we had schedule and reschedule our larger wedding celebration three times and finally decided having a micro wedding in 2020 and Belen was fortunately with us along the way. I recall each conversation she reassured us stating "we are all in this together" and we always figured it out together. During this tough time that was exactly what we needed to hear and more importantly feel.
The Big Day came, Belen was not only so easy to work with, she captured the day perfectly -- so much emotion and energy in each photo. For these reasons, I cannot recommend the Gerber Scarpelli and Belen more! -

My husband and I worked with Kurt and Belen for our wedding this past weekend and cannot stop raving about how much we enjoyed our experience. Kurt and Belen were fun, light-hearted, reassuring and approachable - they truly made what can be an overwhelming day so much fun. We had a change in plans for one of our photo locations and Kurt and Belen pivoted to another fantastic location without missing a beat. We were able to see some of our photos and are already blown away. We cannot recommend Gerber and Scarpelli enough and look forward to working with them again in the future! -

Amazing Photographers!
We used Gerber+Scarpelli for our engagement and wedding photos. Belen was our lead photographer and she is AMAZING! She made us feel so comfortable, gives great direction and most of all is super talented. Our pictures have been better than we could've imagined. Nick Scarpelli was our 2nd photographer for the wedding and he was also great. They are super creative in how they shoot- a nice mix of classic and modern. All of our guests and bridal party at the wedding also commented on how professional the photographers were during the wedding- getting the shot without getting in the way! We highly recommend this group and plan to use Belen again for future photography needs -

Anna Sent on 08/11/2017Amazing experience!! We had the pleasure of working with Belen first on our engagement photos and then our wedding. She made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. We had a great time in the process and got to see the city in the way we never have before. Belen took us to some very cool spots we did not know existed. We have to mention how creative, resourceful and on the spot thinker Belen is! Our wedding happened to be the weekend of Lalapalooza. One of the spots we planned on taking pictures at was impossible to get to, and we were running out of time, Belen thought of another amazing park and knew the quickest route to get there. There are so many other nice things we could mention about our experience, but in the end we are just so happy that we chose to work with Gerber Scarpelli. Pictures is what you have left to remember your most special day, glad we made the investment!!
We approved our wedding photo album in December 2018, but still have not received the photo album or even a response to multiple emails! We have contacted our photographer and the company multiple times. The pictures turned out great, however not sure that it's worth the price. -

Edwina Sent on 01/07/2010Kurt shot our wedding this past NYE and our experience was wonderful. Kurt knows his s#$& - I cannot tell you how nice it is to trust in someone and not have to think on your wedding day.
Just tell me what I need to do and when...Kurt provided us with great direction and encouragement. He can also kick ass/take no prisoners when he needed to be, especially when it comes to rent-a-cops who think they are masters of their universe.
We cannot be happier with our experience with Kurt - we asked a lot of him, having to coordinate with our cinematographers who outnumbered him six to one so for that I want to personally thank him for being so accommodating! We can't wait to see the pictures!
