Photography was a very important part of our planning--and we were so fortunate to find Zac. Everyone we have shown our pictures to has been extremely impressed with them and many married couples even commented on how they wished they had someone like Zac at their own weddings.

We had such fun with Zac, both at our engagement shoot and during our wedding. Every question or request we had was fulfilled beautifully (even on short notice). He made sure to have a second photographer who was just as friendly and willing to help as he was. We were impressed by how quickly Zac shared pictures with us and how open and friendly he has been throughout our entire engagement and wedding process.

Simply put, Zac is amazing. We felt that photography was one of the most important elements of our wedding, and after looking through hundreds of portfolios, we knew immediately that Zac’s style was a perfect fit. I even ran a few dates by him before we booked our wedding date to make sure he could fit us into his schedule. I’m so glad that we did-- we ended up with an amazing collection of photographs that told the story of our wedding day.

Zac was incredibly flexible, professional, and easy to work with. He answered any and all of my questions very quickly and made us comfortable with the process from start to finish. Even the questionnaire he had us fill out before our wedding was incredibly helpful as it forced us to think about what we really wanted him to focus on. Zac was also up for anything. We got married on an absolutely snowy/ freezing day in December in the mountains—that didn’t stop him from taking the outdoor photos that we really wanted. Furthermore, towards the end of our reception when my husband and I asked to take a few more photos beside an outdoor fire pit, he was more than willing to oblige.

The photos that we received are amazing. They captured the essence of the day in a non-stuffy format and we have wonderful memories of friends and family that we can look at for the rest of our lives. I feel that we received way more value than we paid for in Zac’s work. He sent us a CD of our images incredibly quickly, and the printed photos arrived in a beautiful box that we proudly display in our living room. I can’t say enough about Zac—it was just an awesome experience to work with him.

Zac gets high marks across the board with bonus friendship points for being down to earth, fun, awesome and easygoing while remaining completely professional.
My family assumed he was longtime friend of ours because of how relaxed we felt with him when in reality we had met just a few months before our wedding. He had great advice, was reassuring when he sensed we needed it and made us feel like total rock stars.
Not only did our photos end up amazing, but we walked away with a new friend.
I would recommend him to absolutely anyone who wasn't completely lame. Actually, even if they were lame I woul still recommend Zac because he woulda make them feel super cool even though they weren't. Five million stars. A++.

Beyond the fact that we ended up with amazingly beautiful photos from our wedding day, working with Zac was great!

He was always responsive in the months leading up to the wedding - helping me go back and forth and back and forth again to determine what we needed. He very nicely accommodated our "not too into engagement photos" attitude and got us comfortable in front of the camera without pushing us into something that wasn't us.

The wedding day couldn't have gone any smoother. Zac was just wonderful to work with - even when he was stopping traffic in the center of town to get a great shot :). So happy we found him to photograph our day!

I originally felt a little shy and awkward behind the camera when Zac came to shoot our engagement pictures, but he made me feel relaxed and easy. The pictures came out absolutely gorgeous!

As for the big day, having Zac snap photos of us became like second nature. He even helped me stay on track and on time while I was doing my final touches. He has a keen eye, keeps things unique, and is also a total sweetheart. He always wants to make sure that he keeps in touch with the couple throughout the process and gets to know them - which really ends up shining through in his photos.

My wife and I were referred to Zac and from our first meeting with him, the three of us clicked. It was clear from the start that Zac was very personable and genuinely cared about us and about documenting our big day. Looking for the right wedding photographer was one of the most critical items on our wedding to-do list. I'm a creative writer and my wife is in the design business, so we were very particular in our search for a photographer that had a pure, timeless, almost photo-journalistic aesthetic in their work. Zac and his assistant were easy to work with and very unobtrusive. They captured the very essence of our rustic, DIY outdoors wedding while being flexible with our needs and artistic. To recap, Zac was reasonably priced, professional, timely, and caring. We look at our photographs from our wedding every day since they are the screen savers on both of our computers. I couldn't be happier with our decision to work with him and know that his photographs will enduringly preserve the memories of the day.

My husband and I were extremely nervous for our Engagement session, but thanks to Zac, we had no problem kissing in front of a bunch of strangers! (even in a conservative country like Japan!)

Taking photos in a foreign country, not able to understand the language must have been tough, but he had no problem at all! Very flexible!!!

Zac was incredible to work with. Anne and I are not center-of-attention, super-outgoing types, so the prospects of having someone constantly snapping photos of us was a little bit daunting. But when we met Zac before our engagement session he was kind, funny, understanding, and completely professional and we instantly were at ease with him. And he shot some amazing photos!

At the wedding he was even more incredible! Everyone (parents, friends, family) at our small, intimate wedding loved him. He took the most amazing photos, captured so many great memories for us, and was a complete professional. He took the post ceremony family and wedding couple shots that are so important and then he blended himself into the cocktail hour, dinner, and post dinner dancing period, we hardly knew he was there, yet he deftly captured the feel of the whole night with his photos.

Zac is a unique combination of artist and total professional. His photos are gorgeous, artistic, and capture the emotions of the day wonderfully. He is a great person and I can't recommend him strongly enough.

My wife and I were lucky enough to snag Zac before he got booked up for the season. And we booked him the December before our September wedding! Now with so many clients and so many weddings one would think we would become 'just another couple' - wrong. Zac made us feel like we were the only couple in the world. He made us, non-models, comfortable in front of the camera. This was due in part to his complementary engagement session. We got to know Zac and he got to know us and by the time the wedding came around we were photo pros. The day of the wedding he was photographer, coordinator and friend. Our families loved him and he even stayed to hang out afterwards. Working with Zac was a pleasure - he is relaxed and professional and just an all around cool dude.

I absolutely loved working with Zac. In the months leading up to my wedding, he became a great friend which made all the nervousness on the day of... disappear. I'm not usually one for being in front of a camera, but he made it easy for me to act natural. Because of this, our pictures are gorgeous and "real." He somehow knows how to really capture those moments that make you remember the night like it was just yesterday.

I also loved how energetic Zac was throughout the night. He was right in there on the dance floor taking awesome shots of our friends and family...my husband and I now call him the photo ninja. :)

Choosing a wedding photographer was a big deal for Connie and me. I mean, you only get one chance to get it right. We wanted our parents to be happy, and we also wanted beautiful photos that we would be glad to look at for years to come.

Zac delivered on both counts. It was a pleasure working with him on the day of the wedding. He had the air of a relaxed, competent professional and was happy to work with us to get all the important formal shots of family and friends. At the same time, he and his assistant captured some wonderful candid images of the wedding party.
