Your Very Own Fairy Godmother was excellent. Dawn truly kept me sane throughout the whole process, but especially in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. My friends were impressed that I could be so calm and collected, I owe it all to her and her team! My guests were also surprised that I had a team of professional event planners at the ceremony and reception, no one noticed them at all. They made sure that my groom and I had everything we needed so that we could enjoy the night with our friends and family. Truly wonderful.

Unbelievable, definitely critical aspect of planning that helped make the event magical. The idea of not using them would have completely changed the weekend. I have had the pleasure of calling Dawn a long time friend and recently the honor of having her be my wedding coordinator. When I got engaged Dawn was the first person I called because I knew as a wedding coordinator I was going to get my money's worth, and then some. I was absolutely correct in my assumption! Dawn was so wonderful throughout the whole process of my wedding planning. She is very organized and thorough. She called me on numerous occasions when things arose and she needed my opinion. Considering I was planning a long distance wedding, this was what I needed. She is professional, dependable, hard working and most of all creative. She helped me come up some good ways to save money. She totally understood our vision and helped make it come to life. Her attention to details made all the difference to our wedding. Dawn has the most amazing ability to forsee problems and make sure they don't occur and if they do she has an uncanny knack in the ability to fix them in a very professional manner. To date, my wedding was the best day of my life and I have Dawn to thank.

Martha Perez from Your Very Own Fairy Godmother was our wedding planner. She did an exceptional job, we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. Martha did not forget anything, there were some wedding details that we would have forgotten if it weren't for her.

We live in Texas and our wedding was in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Kelly (coordinator) and Martha (assistant coordinator and officiant). The sense of urgency (or lack thereof) in Mexico is not what you would expect of vendors in the states. We are so lucky to have had both of them "representing" us throughout the entire planning process. I was able to put EVERYTHING in their hands and let them work their magic! I learned quickly that being able to let go for your wedding day is truly essential. They made the entire thing seamless. Their vendor recommendations couldn't have been more spot on for our needs, budget, and style!
Three weeks before our wedding (and two weeks after the deadline) I received notification that our ceremony site had not gotten our payment. We wired payment in full two months before the deadline (almost three full months prior to this notification). I immediately contacted my bank who, in turn, contacted the bank in Mexico the same day. I was told that the bank in Mexico had up to five weeks to respond as to whether or not they'd actually received the wire transaction. You can imagine my frustration. I was in the fast lane to panic mode, naturally. Your Very Own Fairy Godmother assured me that I had nothing to worry about- "this is what Fairy Godmothers are for!" So as hard as it was at that point to let it go, I did. They contacted the ceremony site coordinator and had things ironed out in plenty of time. Kelly even transported copies of all of the paperwork to Mexico for me, just in case. WHEW!
Kelly kept the ceremony on track, making sure everyone knew where they needed to be WHEN they needed to be there! She coordinated transportation for all twenty five of us to and from the resort and ceremony site. She talked the jitters out of both of us the night of rehearsal dinner and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Kelly was so much fun and did an amazing job.
My new husband and I grew close to Martha during the wedding planning process, and chose her to be our officiant in Cabo! She did such a beautiful job. She was able to incorporate our Mexican theme by reciting a prayer in English AND Spanish! Martha was perfect for us.
Most importantly, at the end of the evening, my husband and I were able to look at eachother and honestly say that our wedding was absolutely perfect. Your Very Own Fairy Godmother created THE perfect destination wedding- and that wedding was ours.

We were looking for a wedding planner who had a sense of humor, was easy to work with, professional and would let us work on the planning too. Dawn at Your Very Own Fairy Godmother fit the bill. Dawn was quick to respond when we either called or emailed. She was very helpful with all areas of our wedding planning from helping with the linens and fabric backdrops to finding the perfect photographer and DJ. I would highly recomend Your Very Own Fairy Godmother to anyone looking for a good wedding planner.

I was very, very happy with the fairy godmothers! My wedding was an absolute success, and if there were any problems—I was not aware of them. They are very professional (not just women who love weddings and want to talk about colors and flowers and things). They are young and stylish and have lots of good ideas, so they can talk about flowers and colors if that's what you want. But they do much more than just be your wedding buddy—they are professionals. They were always very prompt about returning my emails and phone calls. Organization is key when it comes to wedding planning, and they of course were very organized and handled all my instructions well. They also organized and coordinated my vendors for me, which is huge when everything is crazy in the few days before the wedding. During the wedding, they were behind the scenes but they were keeping everything organized, beautiful, and on time. They are great about doing their jobs, but staying behind the scenes as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone out there looking for extra help planning their wedding.

Best money spent on the wedding! I knew right away when we got engaged that our first item on the agenda was booking Your Very Own Fairy Godmother. Dawn Earley is professional yet very personable and her assistants were great. She went out of her way during the planning stages and was always available to answer questions. With Dawn and her team there on the day of, I never had to worry about a thing. We truly felt like guests at our own wedding! The week I got back from the honeymoon I already had 2 emails from guests wanting to know who my coordinator was so they can look into booking her for their own weddings.

Hiring Your Very Own Fairy Godmother was the best decision that we made with regards to wedding plans! Dawn, our coordinator, seems to have an endless amount of knowledge and ideas about how to make our wedding lovely and ours. Having a team to handle the nitty-gritty details of our wedding and reception was worth the money that we spent (and even more) as we were able to enjoy our day with the assurance that everything would be taken care of.

Hiring Your Very Own Fairy Godmother was the best decision my husband and I made! Not only was our wedding day fantastic, but the entire planning process went smooth as well. Dawn was there for the entire process. She returned phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner. Plus, she was able to express our vision to our other vendors. What I had in my head became a reality. She guided us through the entire planning period. The wedding went off without a glitch. I know that I could not have done this without Dawn!!

Dawn was our wedding coordinator for our June 9, 2007 wedding in Austin, Texas. I met with Dawn initially about a year before our wedding and she was instrumental in helping pull together the wedding of our dreams at a venue that had never before been used for a wedding or event of this nature. Dawn met with us on multiple occasions to go over the wedding plans, including the change in initial reception venue. Planning a wedding can be extremely overwhelming, especially when you do not have a clearly defined idea in your head about what your “dream wedding” is, as I think most brides do. However, Dawn helped me narrow down the thousands of possibilities to get just want we wanted. Throughout the planning process, she was very helpful in recommending vendors and negotiations with my vendor of choice. She was extremely responsive via phone and email and I knew that I could always come to her with any questions that I may be unsure of, no matter how little they were.
Ultimately, Dawn and her team were worth their weight in gold on the day of the wedding. Everything ran seamlessly, at least to my knowledge. Dawn and her team kept everything in order- flowers falling off boutonnières from the humidity, issues with jewelry, etc. The ceremony started on time and everyone was properly seated, etc. Afterwards, they kept the wedding party hidden until the church was cleared out and proceeded to quickly clean up hundred of rose petals, pew flowers, etc. as the pictures where taken, and still managed to beat us to the reception where she was waiting for our arrival. Our entrance to the reception was perfectly coordinated, giving my new husband and I just enough private time together before entering. Throughout the reception she was keeping track of Todd and I and our every need. When we went downstairs to take pictures in front of the capitol, she even had a glass of champagne rushed out to me! And we absolutely loved the DJ that she recommended after we told her the style of music that we liked, he kept the party going until the last second. Dawn and her team were on their toes keeping everything on schedule throughout the reception, and leaving us enough choice to forego the bouquet and garter toss because everyone was having too much fun dancing.
By far, the best thing that Dawn did during her role as our wedding coordinator was to keep me worry-free on our big day. That was no easy task in retrospect, given that our cake barely arrived on time and she and her team had to help put it together and redo the icing on it. Not until 2 days after the wedding did I find out that there were serious communication issues with the baker, the cake was late to arrive, and most of the cake was not fully cooked. Even after the wedding, Dawn helped me put together letters from her staff and multiple vendors to make a case against the baker in order to dispute the credit card charge. Not only that, Dawn went to great lengths to contact the baker herself to resolve the issue while we were on our honeymoon. When they were unresponsive, Dawn actually contacted my credit card company directly to speak to them about the events of the charge which we were disputing.
She went above and beyond her duties as a wedding coordinator and I would highly recommend her.
