Wood Acres Farm was the perfect backdrop for my wedding. The family owned business is quiet, secluded and unique. Everyone loved the horse-drawn carriage that brought me up to the ceremony. It was all so romantic. The day was a breeze. We had one of the owners there the entire day making sure things went smoothly, and they did. I could not have asked for a better ceremony/reception venue. Our pictures are amazing because of their meticulous landscaping of the gardens and grounds. I would definitely suggest going with the rehearsal dinner package they offer. It is on-site and is very laid back. An hour to rehearse, then a hayride (and you can bring your own alcohol), then pizza by a bonfire. Our friends and family were all remarking on how great the night was! Overall, Wood Acres Farm is a wonderful place to get married. The staff are great to work with and truly care about the couples they work with. That is their home and they make you feel like a part of it!

Wood Acres Farms is the most beautiful and unique place you could ask for. The barn was spectacular, and my arrival by horse-drawn carriage was everyone's favorite part. There were a couple of small things that I would have done differently (leading up to the wedding, the staff really encouraged us to have guests stand during the ceremony, which I insisted I wouldn't go for--and the result was that, even though they have chairs on site, my husband, brothers, and the best man had to scramble to set up 80 chairs an hour before the wedding [and put them away again during the reception!]; some signs/props from a previous event were still set up when we arrived and the staff was MIA, so we had to take them down/stow them ourselves; etc. Bottom line--go for the package that includes the day-of event coordinator, or else suck it up when some of the details fall to you.). Despite the small, stress-inducing hiccups, though, I would have my wedding here again in a heartbeat. People are still raving about how beautiful it was, and our pictures are amazing because of how incredible the venue was. Would love to go back as a guest and see things from that perspective, because everything I've heard indicates that our guests thought things were truly flawless.

Wood Acres Farm provided a lovely backdrop to the perfect wedding reception. The fall foliage, the pond, the horse drawn carriage were all perfect in my wedding portraits. On top of that the staff was nothing less then charming. My wedding is still vivid in my mind and in the mind of others because people are still talking about how wonderful and different Wood Acres Farms was. I wouldn't change a thing about that day!

Beautiful venue for those who want a quiet unique location. Horse drawn carriage rides add a special touch for guests. Staff flexible and welcome to help with anything that may arise. Best time of my life!

My wedding at Wood Acres Farm was incredible! I could not have asked for anything more! It was exactly what I wanted! My family and friends are still commenting, almost a year and a half later, about how beautiful everything was, the ground, the setting, everything. I truly wish I could relive the day over again.

A perfect place for a laid back country wedding. The staff were so amazing. They kept intouch with me the entire time I was planning our special day. Our wedding day could not have been any better. Everyone was so relaxed and our guests are still talking about how great it was. We were able to be so creative as to how we wanted the day to run, and the Wood Acres staff were so supportive and understanding.

This is a country setting with beautiful grounds and it is family owned. You couldn't ask to be treated nicer. We didn't want to get married because we didn't want our experience with the staff at Wood Acres Farm to end. They were all so wonderful to us! And the grounds were beautiful. You couldn't ask for a nicer setting than their charming grounds with the horse and carriage.
