    Bridal shower

    We had our bridal shower this past weekend. From the beginning when saw the terrace room loved the windows decor and the room! It was great planning and great services. They work very closely with you to make your event special and unique. They have choices and work with your ideas. Great place for small to big events. Have a vary of rooms for your special event. Also inside of a hotel! Big plus! Highly reccomend it!

    Excellent service and beautiful venue

    My experience was amazing. We had to make some changes due to weather and everyone was accommodating and helpful. The wedding was beautiful and the reception in the terrace room was superb. The food was delicious. I’ve received a lot of compliments on the meal. Everyone who assisted with the wedding was helpful and friendly and accommodating.

    We had our wedding at William Tell December 8th in the Atrium Room and it was magical! First of all, Michelle was fantastic to work with. She was so helpful through the whole process and extremely responsive to emails. She answered all of my questions, even the ones I didn't know I had. When it came to my room decor and centerpieces Michelle took care of it all. She did a mixture of my ornaments and vases with the floating candles they provide and the room looked fantastic. It was so great to drop all my stuff off and know she was going to take care of it. The room was also all decorated for Christmas and the fireplace in the middle, the loft, and the wood ceilings were just perfect. There is a beautiful gazebo too that makes great pictures. We took pictures at the end of the night when it started snowing! It couldn't have been more perfect. My wedding day was truly care free because I knew everything was taken care of. When we got there at the beginning of cocktail hour they forgot to put out the vases for the bouquets, but I had my bridesmaid ask one of the coordinators and they took care of it immediately. Instead of a cake we opted for the sweet table and did a small nothing bundt cake for us to cut instead. We got SO many compliments on the appetizers, the food (we did family style), the sweet table, and the late night snack (mac and cheese bar!). My sister had her wedding at this venue two years ago in the ballroom, and it was just as fantastic. The convenience of this venue is worth it all. The banquet hall attached to the hotel with a bar that is open until 2:00am...you can't beat it! For a beautiful banquet hall that won't break the bank, William Tell is the way to go. Stop thinking about it and go see Michelle and book the Atrium room! And then invite me because I want to go to another wedding there!!!

    Jill was amazing. She is the reason we chose this venue. She was Very helpful, accommodating and genuinely was excited for us and interested in everything about our day. All of the staff made our wedding run as smoothly as possible. The atrium room was so beautiful and impressed all of our guests. I would definitely recommend William tell to everyone I know. Thank you for making our day so wonderful!!

    All the staff were great, NO issues; Michele was particularly wonderful to deal with. The room fit our needs and the food was excellent. It wasn't our first event there, and it won't be our last.

    The William tell did an amazing job! My husband and I loved everything! Our friends and family loved the venue and food as well, we were in the atrium room and it was beyond beautiful for our fall wedding, Jill definitely made our wedding beyond special and we couldn't be more appreciative.

    We worked with Michelle, she was absolutely amazing, very prompt, straight forward and kind. She made the planning as easy as it could be and was happy to jump on a call the moment we needed it. Her emails were detailed and didn't leave you questioning what was left to do.

    We had the atrium room, it was spacious and grand giving all my guests a place where they were comfortable.

    We absolutely loved the William Tell for our wedding day! When we originally booked our wedding in August of 2015, we were working with Jill B. She unfortunately left the William Tell a few months later and my husband and I were a bit nervous about transitioning to a new rep. Thankfully for us, Jill G. did an amazing job of taking over and getting to know everything little aspect of our wedding to make us feel comfortable moving forward. She answered all of my millions of random little questions I had and even came in to sit in a meeting with my day-of-coordinators to answer their questions. They made sure we were greatly accommodated on the wedding day. We were able to bring all of our decorations and centerpieces in on the day before the wedding even though there was an event in our room that night. They let us use an empty hotel room on the first floor to store it all, saving us time on our actual wedding day. We were given the honeymoon suite which was large and gave us ample room for hair and makeup. The food was delicious and we are still getting compliments about the beef and mashed potatoes. And the Atrium Room was as gorgeous as it was the day we walked in for the first time. The fireplace and loft added such a great touch that our friends and family can't stop talking about them! We absolutely recommend the William Tell if you're looking for a gorgeous and large venue!

    This venue was amazing, easy to to work with, and extremely flexible. They were also affordable with wonderful food selections! Michelle was wonderful to work with and extremely organized! We couldn't have asked for a more organized reception venue!

    Michelle D was absolutely a Godsend ! I felt very comfortable working with her. She knows her stuff and was very patient with us even with last minute changes in the number of guests. She got back to me promptly and helped me coordinate the most flawless wedding reception. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

    Speak to them honestly about what you need and then decide if it will be a good fit. They try to accommodate what you want, even if it means sticking to your budget or making personal adjustments that aren't usually asked for.

    William Tell did an absolutely incredible job of making our big day perfect! From the moment we walked in to tour the venue to keeping our cake top for a week after (because we had forgotten to pick it up!), they were wonderful! They were incredibly flexible when we had special requests, provided multiple options for us and provided great insight into what works well for weddings of our size (220). They had great attention to detail and met all of our requests. We had chosen a plain cake and did not have a cake topper so they offered to decorate it with gorgeous flowers for no charge. All our guests raved about the quick, polite service from all the staff and about how good the food was! We could not have been happier.

    I am extremely pleased with our experience having my daughter's Baby Shower at William Tell Banquets.
    Everthing from first setting up a meeting with Rebecca to see what was available to the day of the event itself, was done very professionally and with so much attention to detail. Also found planning to be flexible to meet our specific desires/needs.
    The staff who was setting up the room on the day of the event, offered additional help if we needed on a few matters.
    The ladies who served were very attentive to make sure all our needs were met.
    The food menu, (also provided by William Tell) was excellent being a good variety (a breakfast) of foods, coffee, and 2 flavors of punch. Delicious, everyone said the food was Very Good!!
    I recieved so many compliments and heard comments that some guests were considering having their event there, at William Tell.
    It meant so much to me that the Baby Shower was so perfect.

    I loved this venue; it was exactly what I was looking for. The Atrium Room had a great rustic feel, and it was a huge location. Rebecca was my coordinator, and I could not have asked for a better person to handle my wedding reception. She had an answer for every question I had, and she did everything in her power to give me what I wanted for the big day.
    We left our centerpieces and gift table decor with her prior to the wedding; when I arrived at my reception, I didn't even need to tweak anything! She set up every table, picture, and any other element so perfectly. I was amazed when I walked in the door to see my entire reception exactly how I pictured it.
    I seriously could not have had this amazing reception without her!

    Wow!!! All I can say is that my wedding at the William Tell was beyond what I ever expected. Jill was so nice and easy to work with. The staff did an excellent job decorating the room with my signs, flowers, and centerpieces. They knew the best places to put everything. The bridal room was nice and roomy. Bottled water and a small refrigerator were provided and Jill kept checking on us and asking if we needed anything. During cocktail hour, I was with my husband outside taking pictures with the minister. One of the servers came out with a plate of appetizers just for us. They wanted to make sure we got some. I wasn't that hungry during dinner, so they packed up some food for us to bring up to our room for later. They also packed up our signs and centerpieces afterward. All these little touches meant so much to us. Our guests raved about the food and many said that this was the best wedding they ever attended. Thanks Jill and the William Tell staff for making our day wonderful! Leave it to the experts. They know what they are doing!!!

    We found all the staff, from Rebecca to the serving staff, to Sue and Mary who were there for the evening, the maintenance guy, the bartenders and the servers to be exceptional! This was a 40th High School Reunion and there were about 180 of us-and everyone was nothing but complimentary to the hotel and the services received. This was our second reunion at your hotel-and everyone is already counting on another one in 5 years instead of 10! Well done, Rebecca and all involved with us! William Tell is so very lucky to have employees with your dedication and smiling faces!

    The space was just incredible. Since I first saw it, I could not picture myself getting married anywhere else. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and the food was AMAZING. I absolutely LOVED working with Michelle!

    My now husband and I had our wedding reception at William Tell in October 2013, and it was, by far, the best reception that has ever occurred at William Tell. Michelle was an angel to work with! (I'm pretty convinced she has wings, because believe me, she put up with A LOT from the two of us during the whole planning process. And I mean a lot!) We had a Halloween themed wedding, and Michelle truly helped our vision come to life. (We even had stilt walkers, people. The fact that William Tell allowed this was exceptional!) To this day our guests are still raving about what an amazing time it was, and how outstanding our room looked. To quote my uncle, "Best Wedding Ever!"

    William Tell Banquets was the perfect place to have our wedding reception! We used the Atrium room and received so many compliments from our guests about how unique and beautiful the room was! Everyone also raved about how delicious the food was! We worked mostly with Michelle, who was absolutely fantastic to work with. She helped us with anything we needed and always answered any questions we had throughout the planning process. Michelle really made the process so very easy and fun!! In addition to using the Atrium for our reception, we also had our rehearsal dinner in a smaller banquet room. Again everyone was so friendly and helpful! We truly could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner! Thank you William Tell!!

    William Tell was amazing from the planning process to my wedding. I could not ask for more. I had my ceremony in the Atrium room and my reception in the terrance. Staff was great setup was perfect, Thanks to Michelle and Mary and all of the William Tell

    My Husband and I fell in love with the Countryside Room. It took our breaths away! The food...where do I begin. It is awesome. We had Family Style at our wedding and everyone loved it so much so nothing was left. Everything was so beautiful and amazing. It was due to Michelle. She is the wedding cooordinator and with our ideas and her help. It became real! She was so kind and understanding with what Jared and I visioned. Michelle guides you step by step to get everything set up. Plan ahead and if you find yourself needing help with vendors she has alot of helpful tips. The whole staff at William Tell is amazing! We had the Bridal Suite and it is so beautiful and we were so glad to have everything under one roof! Once we got there for our Reception we didn't need to leave till the next day. It was perfect! Go and try the resturant there and try the food it is so worth it! Go as a date night. The Decor is so pretty and up to date and with the service you get it is truly worth every cent. We will be coming back for either a weekend get a way and or for a quick date night. The resturant food and staff are so worth it. What I wanted to say is the Court Yard is a great place to take pictures! We were able to get great pictures taken there. The court yard is right outside the Countryside Room and since is was we were able to go back and forth with ease. That means alot when your the Bride and your wearing a big white dress.

    We worked with Michelle at the William Tell. She provided excellent service was always prompt in answering any questions we had, an absloute pleasure to work with. We have had many guests tell us that the William Tell served the best food they've ever eaten at a wedding. That made us really happy to hear. Day of the banquet manager came to us to make sure that everything was going smoothly and we appreciated that effort.

    When we walked into the William Tell, we pretty much knew we wanted to have our reception here! The Atruim room is beautiful and gives an excellent feel to the day! Michelle, our coordinator, was fantastic. She was quick with answers to all of my questions and made me fell so comfortable and prepared for the wedding day! I couldn't have asked for better service. The food was excellent, absolutely delicious! We got everything we wanted and couldn't have asked for a better day!!

    We worked with Candice and she was amazing! Everything turned out perfect and she was very detailed and professional with us. Little things i asked for to be done on my big day were exactly how i had hoped. They went above and beyond. There were 2 other weddings happening that night but the way the place is set up no one runs into each other. I never saw the other brides and didn't have to worry about wedding crashers, lol. The bartender that was provided was amazing & the family style dinner was a hit with both our families. Thank you William Tell!

    Michelle the manager, was awesome. I was stress free throughtout the entire process. She was flexible regarding payments, I feel like I definetly got my monies worth. She also made me feel like my wedding was the most important wedding they have ever had. My guest loved the food and everything. The accomadtions were great is well. They have this amazing Sunday brunch buffet.

    I had never been to the William Tell before I began planning my wedding, but wanted to find a place that is memorable and different from the traditional banquet hall space. We found that place in the Atrium Room at the William Tell. The room is huge and so unique. It offers 3 fireplaces, two levels, and is surrounded by big glass windows which make the room feel airy and connected with the beautiful surrounding nature.

    Michelle is an excellent coordinator and she will make sure that every single detail is taken care of so that your special day is amazing!

    The best part of the William Tell is its convenience. There is free parking and a Holiday Inn attached so you can walk to your room at the end of the night. Stanley's Lounge is in the facilities should you wish to enjoy an after-party with your guests. There is also an incredible Sunday brunch with unlimited champagne to start your honeymoon off just right. And be sure to visit the Holidome with an Olympic-sized pool, game, room, sauna, and two hot tubs!

    Go check it out. You will be amazed. Our guests commented on the beauty of the reception space throughout the entire evening.

    We had a wonderful time at William Tell. We were in the Atrium Room (BEAUTIFUL!) and Michelle D'Andrea was our wedding coordinator. She was WONDERFUL! Very helpful, patient, and kind. She always got back to me right away when I had a question. I am very happy we chose the William Tell for our reception.

    AMAZING! From the very first day to the very last drink they were incredible! Jessica was a true delight to work with and helped with whatever I needed! The entire staff made my day magical. The atrium room was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the ceremony site was pwrfect. I could go on for days about everything. Just know you will not be disappointed :-)

    I love William Tell, they helped make my wedding fantastic. I had my wedding in the Atrium, which has to be the most beautiful room. We worked with Michelle, who was outstanding, she helped every way possible and was so easy to get along with. We got so so many compliments about our wedding, the food was delicious, the staff was courteous and very helpful. They were quick and efficient about everything. Can't say enough good things. The only thing, is that the hotel rooms need updating, but that had nothing to do with the hall and service.

    Erin O'Malley at the William Tell is such a joy to work with. She understood our needs and was able to make recommendations based on them. Our day was absolutely beautiful and stress-free because of her and the entire staff. The food was also amazing. I would recommend the William Tell to anyone getting married in the Chicago suburbs.

    Michelle was amazing, There were questions she answered tht we didnt even know to ask, my husband and I had a beautiful wedding, and we both appreciate everything that Michelle, Mary, and the rest of the William Tell staff did for us. There is a lot of work that goes into a wedding, and they were very accommodating and willing to assist. I would recommend William Tell to anyone who is looking for a stress free ceremony and/or reception. We had a lot of compliments about the venue, the food,the wedding cake (from Leesons) which was included in our package, and the staff.

    The venue was AMAZING!! Our wedding night was beautiful with all the wonderful help fr Becca to make it possible! She was seriously so great to work with. Down to earth and real. Not like other wedding establishments.

    Rehearsal dinner was good also. Quick and efficient. They let a small group of us stay and drink for a few hours to I'm it was very nice.

    The staff was extremely accommodating to anything we asked for. A+

    Michelle at William Tell was great to work with from our initial visit until the day of the wedding. She made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and was open to all of the ideas we had so we could feel like we could use all of our ideas for the wedding and know that we would have the opportunity to have things work out the way we want. We would highly recommend William Tell to others!

    Jill was wonderful in helping us with our venue, and finding the best package for us. We even got an upgrade for chair covers, which truly made the venue look gorgeous! People raved about the delicious food and the venue looked beautiful. We had a really great experience--everyone was very helpful for any questions we had.

    OMG!!!!! It was beautiful. Everyone who walked in said how amazing it was. Jessica was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. She always answered all of my questions. The atrium room had a cozy feeling with the fireplace going and the set up tables made it to were no one felt they were in the corner. The food was awesome. Everyone was full. They have great service. And the food was served fast and HOT!!! I just can not get over how beautiful it all was. When you go and look at this place it's nothing compared to when everything is set up. The only thing I have to say, I was under the impression that clean is done by baquet hall- no. Any decorations, center pieces candles- anything you bring in you have to clean up. BUT- THEY WERE SUPER NICE by doing it for me. I was told after they picked it all up. They were nice enought to pack it up and put it to the side in the bridal parlor. Flowers I had left over I gave to the girls in the office and they were so happy to get some flowers. Share your cake too! The littlest things you offer them they are so pleased you thank of them on your day. Wonderful people. They did make my dream wedding come true too!!!

    I can't say enough about Michelle. She became my best friend in the year that i was planning my wedding. I am a self-admitted crazy person, and Michelle was always there to talk me off the ledge! We had a handful of issues that didn't even pertain to the venue (family, flowers etc.) and Michelle always answered my phone calls with ANY questions about any aspect of the wedding. She made sure that I was able to include anything that I wanted for our wedding day. She was there that night until we sat down for dinner, just to make sure things went swimmingly. My husband and I left at 5am the following day, and I left all of my stuff in our hotel room--the front desk wouldn't let my MOH and Bridesmaid into my room, even though I told them before I left that they would getting our stuff out before check out. One of the concierges told my MOH that they would put everything (INCLUDING MY DRESS) in a plastic garbage bag and store it in the basement of the hotel until I came back from my honeymoon to get it. My bridesmaids knew that if I came back to that I would have a conniption. Luckily I had given everyone Michelle's info, and she got them in and out with no issue.

    The only issue that I did have that night of our wedding was with another wedding that was happening at the same time. The way the venue is set up, apparently, the other wedding "HAD" to go through ours in order to get to the lobby...i'm not sure because i didn't spend too much time on it. But i started noticing strangers walking through our space during speeches...and I even noticed some of them going to my bar for drinks, AND taking cigars from my cigar bar. I had to ask the concierge desk 3 times to do something about it...and I got into a tiff with people who were actually trying to go through the doors. So make sure to ask about traffic control!

    The only reason I did not give service a 5 was because our bartender that night was very unfriendly, to the point where guests almost felt uncomfortable ordering. Guests were tipping so it could not have been for a lack of tips. It was too bad his attitude was so poor. Other than that, the experience was really great. Rebecca was a big help and very responsive. The service on the floor was excellent! The food was really good too:)))

    Jessica was fantastic! She was able to accommodate all my requests and was always very nice! She did a fantastic job in decorating the hall for the reception. The service was excellent during dinner. The servers and bartenders all called my husband and I by our first names and were very polite. Food was delicious and we received many comments about the excellent food from our guests.

    I have been to many weddings at the William Tell and loved the set up. When I found out I was getting married the William Tell was my first choice. The room got updated and looked fab. Michelle was my contact and was so nice and anwsered every question. I would do my wedding all over again and again at the William Tell

    Michelle at the William Tell was so amazing!!! She accommodated everything we could have asked for. She was so great and I would recommend her to anyone. We had the Atrium room and Slima did out decorations as well as the other staff there. It turned out amazing. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating. The Bartenders as well where very great. They were on top of their game and handled everything so great. I cannot say enough good things about it. I think this is a top notch place. Also Michelle was great with filling in the bride and groom at rehearsal about how everything is going to go down. She has worked there for a very long time and is so awesome. She was making sure that we ha our time in the garden for picture when there was another group in there. We also had an outside ceremony and they did such a nice job. Love it!!!!

    Michelle was great to work with and the rest of the staff on the day of our event was great. Only a few minor hiccups, but they made adjustments and overall we are very happy with our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception.     In short, everything at the WT was spectacular. We were in the terrace room and for our group size (~150) it was perfect size - not too cramped but not overly spacious that it seemed empty. The food was hot and delicious and the staff very professional and attentive.
    Our one disappointment was our coordinators hands often seemed "tied" - especially when we had special requests (hence the 3/5 for flexibility). For instance, we wanted to change the house salad (which is remarkably bland, yet the rest of the food phenomenal) to our own creation and it seemed we were the first couple to ever ask this. In the end, we were able to get it changed and it turned out just the way we wanted. Another example was the default was to just have the wedding cake in the corner of the room and to do the cutting there. We requested to do it on the dance floor and she was very hesitant to do that, basically saying they can only do it in the corner of the room (where half the guests couldn't see it). Just days before the reception, as we were seeing the room being set up for our wedding, we saw the manager and I just happened to mention our request to her and she indicated it would be "not a problem at all" and immediately changed the floor plan on the spot. We are very grateful we persisted a little bit more.
    However, these type of incidents aside, our overall experience is we HIGHLY recommend WT for your reception and our coordinator was extremely helpful. If we could do it again, we would in an instant. Just make sure if you have special requests (what wedding doesn't?) and your coordinator seems reluctant, see if s/he could discuss it with their manager (so as not to go directly over his/her head).
    Price was very reasonable for the quality of service and product we received.

    Overall this was a great place, and everyone commented on how unique and awesome the room was! Honestly, the only complaint I have is that they took too long to cut the cake, so half of our guests didn't get any.

    If I was rating Michelle it would have been 5s across the board. Unfortunately getting in touch with the people who take of room blocks was difficult. There was a contact switch that I was not notified of and that made things hard when coordinating with our families.

    I had my wedding in the Atrium room. The room was absolutley beautiful! The food was amazing! We had our ceremony and reception here, and I just didn't like how they "coordinated" our rehearsal for the wedding. I had talked to someone the week before about the rehearsal, and she told us the day and time was ok. When we arrived the day of, we didn't get to practice in the room in which our ceremony would take place. They also didn't set up any chairs to help us get an idea of what to do. The hotel rooms in general were just a little ancient. Overall, I would recommend them for your wedding!

    We absolutely loved William Tell for our December 2017 wedding. Our reception was in the Atrium room and our guest all raved over how beautiful it was. The food was excellent and everyone at William Tell was super accommodating. We worked with Jill and she was fantastic throughout the whole planning process. We went with the lowest dinner package and added an extra hour of reception and it was totally worth it.

    Overall, my husband and I were pleased we chose the William Tell for our last minute wedding October 2017 (we planned it all in about 4 months!!) We looked at a few other venues prior to and they all seemed a bit pricey and offered just a bit less than what the William Tell included in price per attendee.
    For booking on short notice and on a Sunday, we received a few perks which was really awesome. That sold us on choosing this venue, as well as the overall look of the smaller room we choose for our event "The Terrace Room." Our ceremony and reception was all done in the same room and didn't end up costing us more like every other venue would have done (other area halls charged for staff to move chairs and set up on the dance floor for family to be part of the 'ceremony.') HOWEVER- we did not get a 'rehearsal' dinner doing it in the same room! (odd)
    Along the planning process, Michelle was our main point of contact. She's super nice, & accommodating to personalize your day. We received prompt emails for the most part and she was willing to work around a few requests (didn't upcharge for all black table linens and red colored napkins, let us "enhance" the center pieces...) There were a few hiccups that occurred on just the day OF our event.
    We say 'hiccups' and really mean a handful of minor things: our head table didn't have napkins set out, the bride drink that was promised couldn't be obtained yet we weren't told until the day of that it "wasn't available," etc. (afterward we brought the little things up to the venue, they apologized for the drink thing and appreciated all of our feedback)..they rectified it all for us. VERY minor in the grand scheme of everything but we can't say everything "was perfect."
    We planned a lot in a few short months and for most of it to come together we were really happy. We weren't expecting perfection, as that isn't realistic, but rather a special evening that was memorable and our guests to enjoy themselves. That was achieved.

    I worked with Michelle, who was wonderful. She was typically very prompt with answering my emails and phone calls. Everything turned out beautifully the night of, but I was disappointed that there were some things that we had discussed prior to the event that were not done. These disappointments were mainly regarding setup. For example, we were supposed to have 3 high top tables and 4 short cocktail tables and they only set up 3 short cocktail and one high top. Also, they did not set up the chairs at the tables correctly, leaving some of our guests having to find their own seats. Other than the setup issues, which all ended up ok, the room looked beautiful. We did have some issues with our room block. We were told at the beginning of our event planning that we could add rooms to our block but when we tried to do so it took them over a week to add these rooms and our guests were being told that we had no more rooms in our block. Also, the weekend we chose was very busy so there were quite a few issues with room reservations being messed up. Overall, it was wonderful to have the event in one location and we enjoyed our night.

    We were there just for the wedding reception. The place was decorated very beautifully and as told. But one thing that made us feel disappointed was they told us that they have a cake cutter but on the wedding day they just give us a bread knife. If they told us sooner we could have brought our own cake cutter. Other than that, the place was great.

    First off I'll give them the benefit that I was in a unique situation, which is why they have 4 stars... I lived in Florida and wanted my wedding in Chicago due to family. I found William tell on line by chance and I really liked it. Price wasn't too bad either, there packages where competitive with other places in this area. My only big complaints are it taking sometimes 3 days to here back from them on a question and one the day of my husband could not find our coordinator anywhere. Not sure if she felt like the other wedding going on was mire important because it was a lot bigger but we still paid a lot of money to have our wedding there. The banquet servers were great, even though they didn't know good English. It was just disappointing that she was just no where to be found. And the last thing a bride wants to find out is her groom can't find the coordinator and isn't sure what to do. I would recommend this place to people just not my coordinator

    We had our reception in the beautiful Atrium Room at the William Tell. We received so many compliments on how great the food was. We had the Dynasty Family Style, and it really was terrific. The room is gorgeous, and they set everything up exactly how we wanted it, even a few extra non-traditional details. We did have some frustrations communicating with them before the date. Sometimes we had to email or call several times before getting a response. They are very laid back in the office, and when we would finally get through to them, they were very flexible and accommodating to most of our requests. They do a great job, but I would have appreciated better communication through the planning process to alleviate my stress level. But all in all, I am so glad that we chose to have our reception here! The reception was everything we had hoped it would be!

    I had the Countryside Room and it was beautiful and the food was the best banquet hall food I've ever had!!! The only thing I didn't like was that it was extremly hot and they seemed to ignore my requests to lower the heat. Also,at the end,there was a security guard that kept rushing us to clean up our mess and get out. I did not like that one bit!!!

    Our wedding was in Willam-Tell's Atrium Room. It was a beautiful venue. We also heard great feedback about the food. I was a bit disappointed in the service the day of the wedding. My parents table didn't have enough chairs at it and the food was served VERY slowly. The head table was done eating long before the guest tables had even gotten their dessert.

    All staff were very helpful, professional and informative. I was often confused with who I was to talk to about what with but much of that was "wedding brain" and not because I was not told who was who.

    I suppose the one thing I would have wished for more would have been a bit more proactive on-going communication. We were a bit disappointed with how we were able to choose our menu for the reception - loved the food at the tasting but did not like that we were only able to taste what a specific party was having - would have liked to know what the other options tasted like.

    Our event coordinator on the night of the wedding was outstanding! We were told to cut our cake and it was all ready, we were on time with food and everything was set up just the way we talked about. We were very disappointed that the soda in the bar was flat which meant our guests did not enjoy their mixed drinks for the night because even after my Dad requested it be fixed several times it was not. I have been to and held multiple events at the William Tell and this is not common, but did put a damper on our night.

    Smijla, one of the workers who can be hired to do some extra decorating was wonderful! Very accommodating in a short amount of time to our interests, budget and theme.

    The atrium room was gorgeous and the food was delicious. However, the staff was not very pro-active in contacting me regarding planning. We booked a year in advance and did not have much contact after the booking. The coordinator was hard to locate on the day of and was not there to show me the bridal suite until almost dinner time. The coordinator was the most worried about getting their money- that was the most I was contacted by them and the first thing they were concerned about the day of the wedding. We were promised several things that did not happen the way they were promised. Overall, the event was great, but for the amount of money we paid, I felt like they could have cared about our special day a bit more and not made us feel like it was a drive thru wedding service.

    The room was beautiful once they finally completed setting the tables and putting the center pieces on. The servers during the dinner were attentive and amazingly helpful! It took a lot to get there though. The room was not ready on time, the room was not arranged or set up as the contract stated, and the appetizers that were part of the contract were never served.

    We went through three coordinators at William Tell. So it's very hard to have good communication when that happens. One would tell us we could do something next would tell us no. We got a paper of what's included in our package and then we found out right before that we could only choose two out of the eight beer selections. False advertising :( when we came in for food tasting no one knew we were coming..first coordinator never followed up. Our rehearsal was overbooked had to change our dinner plans. The night of the wedding the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper. They were still setting up for the reception while everybody was coming in for the ceremony...kind of tacky. on a good note we had a lot of compliments about the atrium room and food.

    William Tell food was excellent, but the waiters kept taking the wine bottles and drinks off the table while people were still drinking! We had ONE champagne toast, went to dance, came back & the champagne bottle was gone! Our coordinator did not inform me that our "times" would change, and they opened the bar DURING the ceremony! (Never heard of that!) so, basically everything ended an hour earlier! I was very disappointed in them!

    Trying to plan a wedding reception at this venue has been an awful experience. Wedding planner "Jessica" never follows up with communication when she says she will. After being notified of our disappointment with the food tasting, she never even called to follow up. If this is the service they provide when trying to get our business, what would the service be like if we did host a wedding reception there?
