  Excellent Service

  We were on the fence about using an event planner for our Wedding. We ended up going with Wichita Event Planner, and I am very glad that we did! We were paired with Amber, who was a wonderful fit from the very beginning. Amber helped get us in contact with any remaining vendors that we had not solidified 60 days out. We had several meetings with her prior to our wedding where she asked great, detailed questions to make sure we were all on the same page. She helped us write out our wedding timeline and shared it will all of the vendors making sure they knew when and where. The day of I got to focus on getting ready and enjoying the hair and makeup process while she handled all of the decoration set up and vendor arrivals. I credit how great our decor looked to her. Our wedding went very smoothly. Any bumps or hiccups that happened I didn't even know about until AFTER the wedding, as she and her assistant handled them. At the end of the evening, they packed up all of our decor and had the venue cleaned out for us. We very much appreciate all of their hard work. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend booking with Wichita Event Planner and using Amber. It allows you to enjoy your big day without the stress. I didn't fight with family, I didn't worry about decor, and I didn't wonder if my vendors had arrived. She handled all of the stress and let us enjoy. It was worth every penny.

  Sarah was the event coordinator and decorator for the corporate event I had attended in Wichita, KS. The venue was perfect and Sarah made sure the entire evening ran smoothly!

  Sarah Igartua is an AMAZING wedding planner. She coordinated my daughter's July 2nd wedding and everything was so beautiful!! Her attention to detail and her ability to make everything look so classy and pretty is just wonderful! She made gorgeous table arrangements for every table and it wasn't an easy task to come up with flowers and other decor in navy. She is such a hard worker!

  Sarah coordinated my baby shower at the Boulevard and it was perfect! The decorations were beautiful and everything ran very smoothly. She was completely professional and I had more than one of my guests tell me it was the most beautiful shower they had ever been to. I would reccomend her to anyone for any event.

  Me and my husband were married in April and everything turned out perfect! special thanks to Sarah our coordinator, and the Boulevard everything turned out just how we wanted it. Sarah did our whole reception, and had everything in order, it was nice we didnt have to worry about any of it. Even during the entire reception she made sure we were all taken care of. I recommend her to everyone and i even have two friends that have already signed up with her. Still after 3 months i am hearing everyone tell us how beautiful our wedding and reception was. We couldnt have done it without Sarah. She made our night perfect!

  There is no way my wedding would have been as perfect if it wasn't for the great ladies at Wichita Event Planner.They were able to get things done for us on a shorter timeline than usual and everything turned out perfect! I would recommend them to any Bride and Groom as they are able to make your wedding planning less stressful with the results you want!

  I am also a vendor, so I have worked with Sarah. She is very friendly and attentive and very reliable. I would recommend her services to anyone planning an event.

  Definitely worth the money on our big wedding day

  Our initial consultation was with Sarah but Amber was the lead coordinator for our wedding. Amber and the two assistants were amazing on the day of. We had a large wedding and definitely needed their help. They hustled all day long, anticipated our needs, were flexible with our unique requests, checked in with us regularly (but gave us plenty of space), and made sure EVERYTHING ran smoothly. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, just do it; It will make the event go so much smoother so that you can more time to enjoy your special day.

  With my wedding being in the months that are popular for wedding and my vendors juggling so many weddings they did a great job!!!! I would highly recommend any of them

  Sarah was a pleasure to work with. She made everything fun and stressfree. She went out of her way to make sure our day was so beautiful and special. I told her the theme I was looking for and she made my ideas come to life. I'm still getting compliments on how pretty everything was!! I definitely would recommend her to friends and already have pointed people I know her direction...thanks so much Sarah!

  Our wedding reception was Beautiful! Sarah and her staff were great and helped our reception run smoothly! The decorations were great and it was such a relief for us to not have to worry about decorating ourselves...I'm not sure when we would have found the time! The extras that were thrown in were unexpected and wonderful! The value of service for the price was EXCELLENT!!!!! If I were to do it again I would use these services! If I have any critical feedback it would be that we struggled to get ahold of each other in the beginning and get appointments set in advance since I live out of town...but once we got going it was Great! The vendors she recommended were OUTSTANDING!

  Do not waste your money. Find a real wedding coordinator. Don't be fouled

  I unfortunately can not recommend Wichita Event Planner Sarah. When I was trying to find a day of coordinator for my wedding, I searched Google and noticed this company had 5 stars. I reached out and spoke with the owner, Sarah. I can say that talking on the phone she was so nice, very professional, and definitely sold herself. Our email correspondence was also very professional. I was excited about what she said she could for my wedding and looked forward to working with her. I can now say that she is a salesperson but not an event planner. My first red flag was too late to do anything about. On our rehearsal(night before the wedding), she was very unprofessional, not organized, and looked like she had never conducted a rehearsal before, I ultimately took over and ran the rehearsal myself. On the wedding day, it got so much worse. She had a 4 person team, she arrived 3 hours before guest arrival time and yet the ceremony spot wasn't even decorated or set up before guests arrived, the reception area was only half setup and she forgot to put out key important items. I expressed the most important things that I needed at the wedding (like my private vows and first look with my fiance). She screwed up both, and they went bad. She was also MIA most of our reception, and her nor her team coordinated anything, so it was an unorganized mess. During the end when they were supposed to clean up, and put all of our food, cake, and decorations away she managed to mess that up to by forgetting some of our decorations at the venue, she left the food and cake (which the venue threw away) so I'll never get to try my wedding cake. However, that's not even all of it. The next day, when I went to unload the truck, I found that her team threw everything in the uhaul and broke over 400 dollars worth of items. When I texted her to send her pictures, she blamed other people and refused to reimburse us for the broken items. Ultimately, she stopped responding to me and will not take any responsibility. When you think it can't get worse I spoke to security at the venue who said the reason they think she messed everything up was because they caught her several times doing drugs in the parking lot and on the property. My day is already over and I can't do anything about it but I just wanted to leave this long review to make sure you guys don't have your wedding day ruined by hiring her or her company. Don't be fouled by her salesmanship. Oh, also, on her website, it shows her professionally dressed at her event when in reality she wore a tank top, shorts, and a rag around her neck. I'm convinced her 5 star reviews are friends and family because for my small wedding of only 40 people and not a ton of decorations with a team of 4, if she couldn't handle that then I don't know what she can handle!

  I have mixed feelings about Wichita Even Planner.
  
  The day of coordinating was most helpful! We wouldn't have been able to tell the vendors where to set up or finish the last minute things.
  
  The decorations turned out beautiful. However, she forgot to have the lights put in the tulle, until my mom reminded her. Also, my aunt ended up having to help with a lot of stuff to make sure it got done in time for the reception.
  
  The biggest problem we had with Sarah was that we would tell her things that we wanted and she wouldn't write them down, so we would have to remind her repeatedly. This happened on MULTIPLE times! IF we hadn't reminded her those things would have been forgotten, which would have been disappointing.
  
  Also, we could never get in touch with her. We would call her and leave messages and never hear back from her. We would have to call her again and again. I even contacted her by email and never got responses.
  
  Having to tell her things multiple times and not being able to get in touch with her was quite frustrating. It caused incredible stress before the biggest day of my life.
