Such a beautiful venue! Their staff was amazing and super flexible when we had to postpone due to Covid. Their team has great communication and made sure our vision came to life. The food is phenomenal as well!

Vintners Resort delivered a picture-perfect venue, a great reception, delicious food, delightful staff, a wonderful stay for us and our guests, and a convenient central location with everything we needed. We hosted everything there: wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, day-after brunch, all for logistical simplicity. And we needed it! Courtney and Jessica swiftly rescued our wedding from nearly the ashes of the Caldor fire: with 10 days to go, we moved from South Lake Tahoe to Santa Rosa, and it still ended up a fantastic memorable day for us and all 100 of our guests. Our guests were universally amazed that we pulled it off so perfectly and completely. It all went so well and we had such a great time that we should’ve just come here in the first place!

Vintners Resort was absolutely perfect for our wedding! The venue is gorgeous in all seasons, and our guests loved the ease of staying on the property and walking over to the ceremony/reception sites. The food was also fantastic, and the John Ash staff was so efficient in setting up and serving the food! A huge thanks to Jessica and Courtney in answering all our questions and making sure everything ran incredibly smoothly. I would absolutely recommend Vintners to anyone planning a wine country wedding!

We couldn't have found a better venue! It was absolutely perfect for what we always wanted in a small and intimate wedding. From the initial introductory call, planning process and meetings to the day of the wedding Jessica was very professional, courteous, prompt, collaborative and a true pleasure to work with. This venue takes all precautions and makes sure that all guests feel welcome and safe throughout the entire stay. The chef Daniela was great and very accommodating and our service staff was very professional and courteous. Our guests were all amazed by how beautiful the venue was and they enjoyed their time at the property. The venue itself is gorgeous and Jessica's team does an amazing job setting it up and making it look magical. Highly recommended venue if you're looking at Sonoma / Napa.

The Vintners Inn was the best decision we made for our wedding! It was such a beautiful setting and catering is on-site, making the process much easier. Many vendors were familiar with this venue as well, which made things easier. We planned our destination wedding and chose this venue site unseen. Vintners Inn far exceeded our expectations. The hotel stay, service, restaurant, etc. were all amazing. Everyone talked about how good the food was. Denette was really great to work with as well! Would highly recommend this venue if you want a beautiful, stress-free wedding.

We fell in love with Vintners Inn, site unseen just by looking at the website. Then when we flew in to view the property it's even more gorgeous, lush, colorful and romantic in person. Denette Huffman worked with us for all the vendors, recommendations and room bookings. The venue is self contained, which was our favorite feature about choosing our wedding site.
We got married outside and had our reception in the ballroom. Everything from our Bridal Suite, the servers, the staff, the stunning fall flowers and trees... everything was exceptional.
Our friends and family traveled far and everyone was just gushing about how gorgeous the venue was. We couldn't have been more thrilled with Vintners Inn.

My wife and I got married at Vintners in August and can't say enough about our experience. Leading up to our wedding, Denette was amazing to work with and helped us with anything we needed. On the day of, our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue is. We are still getting compliments! Our ceremony was outside and it couldn't have been more perfect. We had 140 guests and the reception room and outdoor cocktail hour area was perfect too. Guests also couldn't stop talking about the food and cocktails. Anyone who's eaten at Josh Ash knows the food is incredible, but the bartenders also made great craft drinks, not just standard mixed drinks like other weddings. Overall, my wife and I can't recommend Vintners enough if you are looking to get married in wine country!

The perfect Venue for a winery wedding. The setting was gorgeous. The food was fabulous and they even worked with us using our healthier #Thrivealgaeoil in preparing our meals! The staff beginning with Denette were so helpful and accommodating to our many wishes! We look forward to going back to the Inn for a vacation next fall!

Everyone always visits wine country wedding venues with stars in their eyes and envisioning that beautiful, mild, vineyard-in-the-background-sunny day for their wedding......Well, we're locals and understand that is not always the case. As MOB and ipso facto wedding planner for two daughter's weddings in less than a year, I knew we needed a venue with an indoor option for the second of our 2015-16 wedding marathon, in April, 2016. Our daughter and now husband, chose Vintners Inn with the stars a blazing in their eyes. I, on the other hand, was relieved to book their April 9th wedding there because I had a feeling it would rain.....and it did. Here's the thing, it was a gorgeous, intimate, romantic, and elegant ceremony that took place in the center "pre-function" room. Photos will be gorgeous! Our daughter's wedding was large (over 200), and Denette Huffman and the Vintners staff did an amazing job. The floor plan and guest flow was seamless. The Event Center rooms are very nice and the wedding, ballroom dinner, reception, and dancing were a dream come true for our daughter and son-in-law. We are so very grateful for Denette's professionalism, knowledge, patience and spot-on coordination. The food was outrageously good, and the staff was flawless. Well worth considering no matter what Mother Nature has in store.

Vintners Inn is a fantastic venue option for your wine country wedding. There are many beautiful destinations in Sonoma & Napa, but Vintners Inn is super equipped for weddings and receptions. Catering is on-site, they have a great wine selection, there are indoor and outdoor options should the weather not cooperate, the ballroom is the perfect event space (no tent required), you get married right in front of an actual vineyard, there are gorgeous flowers everywhere, its easy to get to, you can stay for free the night of the event, there is a great bar, on-site restaurant and cute little brunch destination for the morning after right on site as well. Not to mention, the food is great, the staff is super friendly and accommodating and Denette Huffman is an absolute pleasure to work with. She was super responsive and patient which means everything when planning something as detailed as this. Honestly, Vintners Inn is gorgeous and just an overall great value for everything you get in one single location. I would highly recommend for any big special event, big or small.

I had the great pleasure of working with Denette Huffman, the wedding specialist at Vintners for my wedding in June, 2015. There are so many wedding venues to choose from in wine country and I had a long list of venues that I visited and priced out. My selection in the end came down to the ease of working with Vintners. In particular, Denette Huffman; the wedding specialist at Vintners. From the moment we interacted, Denette was responsive, flexible, knowledgeable and pleasant. I really like that Vintners is not only a gorgeous venue for a wedding but most everything is all inclusive. The catering, beverages, ceremony arch/pergola, reception hall, tables and chairs, place settings, linens are all ON SITE. Plus, you really don’t need flowers besides the ones the bridal party carries because the grounds are absolutely stunning. Once you select the food and beverage menu and linen colors, you basically only need to hire your own photographer, florist and bakery. Denette has a great list of preferred vendors that she weeded out to be professional to work with. Frustrated after trying to get quotes from multiple other venues in the area, I was extremely impressed with Denette and Vintners presentation of the quote. Unlike the others venues who just threw together some generic brochures of the property and wedding packages (nothing specific to my wedding written down) and a list of preferred vendors for me to call on my own to piece together a quote; Vintners has an excellent quote tool that Denette used to provide a detailed quote so I could see exactly what was included and what was extra. This made the selection process so much easier. Once the decision was made to select Vintners, Denette continued to be responsive to my needs and made my wedding planning process smooth. A few weeks after the wedding and I’m still getting compliments from my guests about what a lovely experience they had at Vintners. Thank you to Denette and the staff at Vintners :)

My husband and I got married at the Vintners Inn this November. When we drove into Vintners Inn for the first time we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. We loved the beauty of the property from the fountain, to the ceremony lawn to the cocktail hour patio and ballroom. Working with Denette Huffman at the Vintners Inn was a great experience. Denette was super responsive and accommodating to all of our needs and made the wedding planning process run very smoothly. Our guests were raving about how gorgeous the venue was, how delicious our signatures cocktails were and how much they enjoyed the dinner. We had our dream wedding at the Vintners Inn and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue.

This place is BEAUTIFUL! The gardens are gorgeous, the ceremony site is in the shade, the reception is indoors, the good is amazingly delicious and each staff member is so professional and gracious! Vintners has it all!

We had the opportunity to work with Denette Huffman who made our dream a reality. We went on a date to John Ash & Co for dinner and didn't really think anything of it at the time, but when we looked for venues for our wedding, we came back and the moment we drove in through the driveway we had the feeling of "this is it." It's so beautiful, especially when the colors change in the fall. Denette worked with us as we talked about our budget, etc., and walked us through all the different steps with deposits, etc. The food tasting was amazing, and it's hard to find good, fresh food when you're serving so many people. Everyone was very professional and we couldn't be happier with having our wedding at such a beautiful venue.

Working with Vintners Inn to plan our wedding ceremony and reception was an absolute pleasure. Denette is such a joy to work with and she was so responsive to my bajillion questions and emails. If she didn't know the answer, she worked hard to get it for me and helped arrange anything extra that I needed. The property is so beautiful that it's truly difficult to not have a gorgeous event. We're so fortunate to have found Vintners Inn and our guests are still raving about the food, views, property and event itself.

Just had my daughters wedding here on Sunday May 26, 2013. What a beautiful venue. Everything was perfect. Danette was so helpful in helping through all of our details of planning the wedding. In the end, everything was perfect. The food was delicious and served hot! Rooms were beautiful. We are still getting compliments from our guests on what a beautiful venue and wedding it was. We traveled an hour and a half away from home to have the wedding here but I am so glad we did. 5 star place for a wedding!

Heaven on earth ! Best place to get married. Every guest was nicely surprised. They kept asking " how did you find this place ?" A friend at the wedding wants now to get married there ! Highly recommended....

Vintners Inn was absolutely wonderful. I booked my wedding at this venue 9 months in advance, and everything was completely perfect. Every single one of the staff members were very kind, professional, and so willing to help with whatever we needed. Upon arrival leading up to the wedding day, Vintners was more than accommodating and spoiled us beyond belief. Every single detail was perfect and executed exactly the way we had discussed throughout our meetings, phone conferences, and emails. I could not have been happier with my experience at Vintners, and am so thankful they made my wedding day so perfect.

The most perfect place in the world to be married!

As an event planner myself all our guests had high expectations of the wedding. This is why without a doubt we chose to host our 55 person wedding at Vintners Inn! Jessica & Melissa were exceptional to work with and very quick in responding to any changes or questions I had as we live in LA so could only visit the venue three times before the wedding. On the day the space was set exactly to my vision and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting in the Event Center Foyer for our wedding ceremony! We served Vintners Inn homemade hot apple cider prior to the ceremony and our guests loved it! We then moved out to the Cypress Terrace for cocktails and the banquet team that evening was AMAZING! The kitchen staff was too as the food was amazing and as my mom pointed out "no one had a plate go back to the kitchen with even one bite of food left on it'. Weeks later our guests still rave about the service and food and how it was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding!

I can't thank Vintners Inn enough for making the dream I have had since I was five to have the most intimate and personal and wonderful wedding I could have even dreamed of having! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Almost every one has said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! And imagine we had to move the ceremony inside when it started raining two hours prior to the ceremony! I couldn't believe how seamlessly it was done. The guests didn't even know it was supposed to be outside!
The cake is included in the event price and is done by Patisserie Angelica, who is phenomenal! Artists to the max!
The food is to DIE FOR! Loved everything we ate. Even the rehearsal dinner was fantastic and delicious!

I have heard many friends tell horror stories of their children's weddings and things that went wrong... well obviously they didn't have their weddings at Vintner's Inn! Everything was perfect. Lindsay was the best coordinator I have ever seen. Our minister (who sees lots of weddings) said she was the best he had ever seen. I recommend that anyone who is looking for an elegant, professional venue don't look any further. You have found it! My daughter's wedding was absolutely perfect.

Vintners Inn was a DREAM! Not only is that how we felt about our wedding venue, but those are also literal words from some of our wedding guests who absolutely loved the venue. The grounds are impeccable. The setting is gorgeous, with vineyards behind you and ivy growing on the buildings next to you as you get married. The food is incredible – we received so many rave reviews from our guests, which is really saying something when you have to hand craft 140 meals. The list truly goes on, but I would be remiss if I were to leave out one of the most critical components of a perfect wedding day – the site coordinator!

After calling and emailing about 100 venues, none of the site coordinators came remotely close to Denette and Julia. They were truly a pleasure to work with – so friendly, helpful, accommodating, and patient. I was shocked at how difficult it was to connect with other venue site coordinators when I was venue hunting – and when you would get ahold of them, they were usually rude and acted like they were doing YOU – the client – a favor! I couldn’t believe the horrendous customer service in the wedding industry – but luckily, I found Vintners Inn and all was right in the world.

Thank you Denette, Julia, and Vintners Inn for helping us create the wedding of our dreams! The photos turned out gorgeous, and we will cherish the memories for years to come!

Everyone at the Vintner's Inn did a fabulous job on our wedding - I can't have imagined a situation that could have been better. Cathy Reynolds-Stone and her team were really great and easy to work with, and were very responsive to questions. The entire staff at the hotel made our wedding weekend great for all of our guests and as stress-free as possible for us. The food was great at the wedding too! John Ash and Co did a wonderful job preparing everyone's food to their liking and was really accomodating with dietary requests. Overall the venue could not be more beautiful, the staff couldn't be nicer, and the experience couldn't have been better! Thanks to Vintner's Inn for making our day amazing!

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Vintners Inn!!! Our experience with the staff was amazing, they were a pleasure to work with and our wedding went perfectly. It makes a huge difference when people clearly love what they do and love where they work. We are so happy and I know we made the best choice by getting married at Vintners. The grounds are impeccable, the ballroom is beautiful and the food is amazing!!! All of our guests had a great time. It's such a classy place that our wedding looked so fancy (and we hardly added any decorations at all, just simple flowers). Our pictures are beautiful too because we shot them in the vineyards on the ground of the Inn and in front of the beautiful Italian fountain. Also, it is so nice that our ceremony was outside and then our reception was inside which gives you the best of both worlds plus no one had to drive to a different location between ceremony and reception! I highly recommend them for a wedding or really for any event!

Our wedding was gorgeous and an event to last a lifetime. Lindsay did a great job of keeping everyone and everything in order on the day of the wedding. We had a few snags in communication in the prior weeks to the wedding, but the day of was simply amazing and well done! There are few locations that top the stunning beauty of Vintner's Inn!

We couldn't be happier with this venue for our wedding, which was last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful, and everything was set up exactly as expected. The only surprise that day was that we thought our after party at the John Ash front room was going to be private after 10 p.m., but it was left open to the public. However, it was only a surprise, and did not really disappoint. We were having such a great time and it did not bother our guests. The staff and event coordinator at Vintners Inn are fantastic, and the food was definitely a highlight of our wedding. In terms of value, look at any winery in Sonoma county and you'll find that you get a better value at the Vintners Inn with just as many beautiful photo opportunities.

Vintners Inn is a beautiful venu. We were considering eloping to Italy but didn't want to wait for all the red tape. So my fiance (at the time) did some searching on his own and came up with Vintners Inn. We fell in love with it and never deviated from it as being our first choice for our elopement. The grounds and all the bulidings are kept immaculately and the rooms are very large and gorgeous! We had about 9 family members join us and all were very impressed and loved everything. The cheese and wine reception immediately after the ceremony was very nice and our server, Josh, was exceptional and very proper. Our dinner at John Ash and Company was wonderful and the staff were all very attentive. Our waitress from the night before even stopped by to congratulate us. There was not one meal that we had during our entire stay, that we did not enjoy. Breakfast was very good as well, albeit a bit pricy for breakfast. But I guess that goes with the territory. I would definitely recommend Vintners Inn for your wedding and stay. We are hoping to return for one of our anniversaries.

The staff at both our rehearsal and wedding were incredibly wonderful. I didn't have to worry about a thing, and they made sure we were well fed and taken care of. I would highly recommend this venue.

We were very pleased with our wedding experience at Vintner's. We primarily picked this location because of it's homey feel, beautiful grounds, and phenomenal food. While there are some restrictions with having a wedding at vintner's (no outside food, requires day of coordinator, etc), we understand that these restrictions came from Vintner's experience hosting weddings and that they were key components of ensuring a well-executed (and fun!) wedding. There were some changes in staff during our wedding planning, and sometimes there were some communication issues, but overall we were VERY pleased with our wedding at Vintner's and would highly recommend to any couple looking for a beautiful, yet intimate, ceremony site who also want out of this world food at their reception! We're so thankful to the Vintner's staff for making our wedding day such a success.

Vintners offers some great views, cozy inn rooms, and a couple beautiful venue options for ceremonies and receptions. We loved their food and how easy it was to taste test prior to making final menu selections. If working with the venue, you’ll need a wedding coordinator from their preferred list. Our guests loved the vineyards and fountains for photo opportunities. Final detail communication could have been smoother, but overall got the job done. We didn’t love the wines on their list so we brought our own in- allowed by our contract. Overall, the venue grounds are immaculate and it was the place to be.

Amazing venue and facility. John ash which is restaurant on site caters all their events food was heavenly. Boneless short ribs and the polenta are unreal.

Now they experience turnover of their wedding coordinators and changed their entire event program during the time we signed our contract and actual wedding date. They lost our original contract and attempted to change our terms but eventually honored our contract that we had a copy of to prove promises made. There was confusion at times but ultimately they provided a great venue, great food, and pulled it together to help provide a great wedding.

I am overall happy with having my wedding at Vintner's Inn. It is an gorgeous spot and the pictures I have are amazing in part because of the beautiful location. Everyone that attended my wedding loved the spot. It was also nice to have everything in one place, and to be able to stay the night where the wedding was held in a very nice room. However, there were some little things that could have been improved on. The food was good, but we were intitally not offered the choice of two entrees. They wanted us to pick one duet plate and serve it to everyone which we didn't want to do. We did end up getting the choice to serve two different things though, I wish they would have been more clear in the beginning about that. We also really loved their caeser salad in the tasting, but for some reason at the wedding there was no cheese on it, which was strange (seems like the cheese makes that salad since there isn't much else to it). One of the bartenders at the wedding was having a bit of an attitude with guests and I heard from several people (even older people who only had one drink all night) that she was being rude. But Cathy, the event planner, is nice and tries to accomodate and overall is was a great spot to have our wedding.

It pains me to write a bad review because we had such high hopes for hosting our wedding here. But if you are a future bride planning an event here, I suggest looking elsewhere. To put it briefly, Vinarosa (formerly Vintners) underwent construction and leadership changes that were not mentioned to us, and when we asked for transparency, we were told lies. We were scrambling to figure out logistics the WEEK of our wedding due to their ineptitude, and to top it all off, there was active construction happening during our wedding. We dealt with so many other spectacular vendors, but Vintners/Vinarosa was the ONLY vendor that left us feeling dread during wedding planning, on our wedding day, and even now looking back. I was hoping that we could come back here for wedding anniversaries, but I never want to deal with them ever again.

The long story: we booked in July 2024 for June 2025. In December 2024, I sent an email to our point of contact, and the Director of Sales and Marketing informed us that she would be taking over until they hired a replacement. We had no further explanation and communication was nonexistent until our planner reached out to schedule our tasting in February. When we arrived at John Ash, they asked about our two other guests. What other two guests? They forgot to mention that we could bring guests to our tasting. They also prepared two extra tasting plates, but never confirmed with us that we were bringing guests (??) The General Manager interrupted our tasting to inform us that the Lobby was undergoing renovations, and that there is a chance it would not be completed by June 2025. We expected the pool and banquet hall, but there was NO MENTION of the lobby construction, which sits across from our ceremony site. We left our tasting feeling incredibly uneasy and sent emails informing them about our dissatisfaction, asking for more transparency. We also noticed they were hiring many new job positions, and were told that they were "expanding".

1 month before our wedding, we are communicating with the new Events Specialist Coordinator, who is very green behind the ears. It takes weeks to sort out ceremony layout, reception rentals, and catering packages. We were surprised with extra charges to move chairs, put on chair pads, and extra servers for the buffet. None of this was previously communicated. Even our planner is surprised at these new changes because she has worked with them before. It is very clear at this point that Vintners is not telling us something. But we were promised no extra surprises on our wedding day, and given platitudes.

Finally it's the Friday before our wedding, and when we checked into our room, they tried to charge us $2k. When we asked what this was for, they stated that they were unsure. They left us a welcome card in our room. Honestly I kind of expected more, especially because we communicated many times over many months how unhappy we were with them. But we get nothing, not even a small bottle of champagne, which is disappointing because that is very easily an extra touch of thoughtfulness that could impress guests staying at your hotel. Clearly at this point, they do not care about us.

The worst of it all is that there are construction workers drilling concrete during our first look. Our photographer had to yell at them to stop and move out of the way. The "Vintners Resort" sign on the street is taken down and painted over on Friday and not back up by Saturday, our wedding. At this point we are so tired of dealing with all of this. But it's not the end. A few days after our wedding, there is an instagram post announcing a name change to "Vinarosa Resort and Spa"... and now it all makes sense -- the lack of transparency, the lack of staff, the open positions, the incompetency. I get it now. But seeing that instagram post 6 days after our wedding felt like the last slap in our faces. We asked for transparency so many times, and we never got it. I genuinely hope that future couples do not have as horrendous a time dealing with this place.
