I couldn't believe it...
While rating 5 stars across the board may seem like cheating, Vanessa truly deserves all the stars I can give her. My wife and I flew from Illinois to Isabela for our wedding, and event though it was a very small affair, her pictures made our ceremony seem like all the world was in attendance. Her professionalism cannot be questioned; she responded promptly to all communications and left no questions unanswered.
Her ability to corral a bunch of military veterans that comprised the wedding party should be enough of a recommendation! That, and the fact that my wife looked even more beautiful and amazing through the lens...words cannot express. If you are planning your ceremony in Puerto Rico, you definitely need to engage Vanessa's services!

Vanessa was recommended to me by my late sister Lisa, who was helping to plan my wedding before her untimely passing (she was also an events coordinator and wedding vendor on WW for over a decade, so had looked into vendors for me). Although it was painful that my sister couldn't be there in person, my God, her connecting me with Vanessa is nothing short of divine intervention -- b/c Vanessa's talent is heaven sent! Also, even though my day was chaotic with many up to the last minute scheduling changes befitting of an overly ambitious DIY event, Vanessa had the patience of a saint, working with and around the chaos, seamlessly capturing details and highlights that was beyond what I even imagined! She is blessed with awesome skills... my sister helped me plan this right. There is an angelic, soft, romantic, ethereal feel to her work -- just exquisite! Phenomenal Photographer
When starting our search for a photographer we knew we wanted someone who had shot at our venue and utilized photojournalism. Each search pointed directly to Vanessa. She answered questions promptly and was always prepared. I could not picture our wedding day without Vanessa and her second shooter, Maiki. The professionalism yet the ability to be relaxed and have fun truly shows what an art and pleasure it was to have them be a part of our day. Guests even noted aside from formal pictures one did not even know they were there. The amazing shots and quality are breathtaking. Absolutely would work with Vanessa again!

Vanessa was very professional and went out of her way to meet with me virtually to discuss our wedding vision. In addition to the wedding venue and reception we wanted pictures at the beach, we were able to arrange a separate day to do this, to not delay our wedding reception for too long, keep our guests happy and decrease our stress. We got dressed up a few wks later to do this additional shoot but it was well worth it. The photos are beautiful, great quality and the albums are perfect.

Beyond incredible!
From the moment we spoke on the phone, I fell in love with Vanessa. We had been searching for a while for a good photographer, so finding her was a true blessing. When we meet in person, she was kind, sweet, and had an amazing eye for details which I appreciated. Her and her assistant directed and coordinated some truly beautiful pictures that really brought out our "under-the-sea" destination wedding. I would recommend her to EVERYONE! If we renew our vow and go back to Rincon, I'd definitely hire her again.

We had a somewhat unique, very relaxed wedding. The only vendor we wanted was a photographer so everyone there could focus on enjoying themselves and not have to have their phones out. Vanessa’s photos were absolutely gorgeous and captured some of my favorite parts of the wedding. Her and her team were extremely professional and so sweet. I hired Vanessa for my destination wedding in Rincon. Being that it was a destination wedding, I hadn't met with her before the day of the wedding. This did not matter at all! The second I met Vanessa, she immediately made me feel so comfortable. My husband and I had a great time with her. Except for the more staged shots, we never really noticed her taking pictures throughout the event. I say this as a good thing, since she wasn’t in the way or obstructive. Once you see the pictures, you notice how spectacular they are, even when nobody was posing for them. Her personality is also a big plus. She knew exactly what to do, to get everyone into a jovial mood, which did wonders for the pictures. I highly recommend.

We eloped on the beautiful beaches of Puerto Rico with just our kids present. Vanessa and her assistant captured the event beautifully. First of all, if I could give more than 5 stars for flexibility, I would. Our wedding was a bit unconventional. We were supposed to be married in October but had to reschedule after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico. After the storm Vanessa reached out to us as soon as she was physically able. Much of the communication network was nonfunctional and I know that she had to go above and beyond to contact us. She was more than accommodating when we rescheduled for March. From the moment we met her, we knew that we had made the right decision in selecting her as our photographer. She is professional yet unpretentious. Her photography style put my husband at ease despite the fact that he hates pictures. The true testament to her work was the finished product. There are so many candid shots and she captured all of the details that we were too busy to notice on the day of the wedding. I highly recommend Vanessa to anyone who is planning a wedding in Puerto Rico. Vanessa, thank you and you are amazing!

We used Vanessa for our destination wedding going off of what we saw on her web page and never having met her before. We were not disappointed. Originally scheduled in October we had to reschedule due to hurricane Maria. Vanessa was very accommodating and helpful with making arrangements to change our date. When our wedding day finally arrived she put us at ease and made it fun. We were blown away with how well the photos came out! She delivered exactly what we wanted! We would use Vanessa again in a heartbeat.

Book her! My husband is a photographer and was naturally very picky when it came to picking our wedding professional. Vanessa's pictures are amazing, the quality is never compromised. Her service and her supporting staff are always professional. We loved that it did not feel like we were missing out on the party while taking pictures because she made the picture-taking process fun. You can tell Vanessa loves her job! I especially loved how she gave us a sneak peek the day after the wedding.

Do not look for any other photographer but Vanessa, she is absolutely the best! Vanessa was responsive, professional and an amazing photographer. We had planned a picture-perfect location in Aguadilla to get married on the beach with the beautiful cliffs behind us, but unfortunately nature had a different idea. Even though we got rained out of our ideal location, Vanessa rolled with the punches with us and quickly made it to a new location under cover, where she quickly got back into taking the most beautiful pictures ever. She did an amazing job at capturing the craziness and beauty of our day, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to use Vanessa for our wedding. Thank you!!!

Our wedding photos turned out amazing! We did a first look at the lighthouse before the ceremony and the photos from the lighthouse are some of my favorites. Vanessa also took lots of combinations of our family on the beach after the ceremony. I really liked how the different poses turned out. I highly recommend Vanessa.

First off hands down the BEST experience ever. Our wedding was rather small, Vanessa made sure she captured every detail. She is so professional and detail oriented. She is simply AWESOME!! I was married January 21st, 2015 on a beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico where my family and I stayed for over a week. I would say I am definitely an unconventional bride- I was not stressed about the planning/wedding until the last couple days before the 'big day'. I had wonderful help from Mary Gilmartin from Classic Events & Tastebuds Catering, who early in the process had recommended Vanessa Vargas, because they had worked together, and she was "the best". I procrastinated until LITERALLY THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING, to find a photographer. I remembered about Vanessa and called her. Now, I must say that I do not recommend waiting as long as I did, but she agreed to photograph my wedding! I would not change a single thing about her process, professionalism, and sense of ease. I had such a hard time narrowing down my favorite pictures, that it took me months to just go ahead and decide to pay for more pics than I had originally planned on. She captured many things about our day and our personalities that went way beyond my expectations. I am forever grateful for Vanessa Vargas!

I had a destination wedding and used wedding wire to book vendors. I was a little worried about booking since it was all done via email and phone. Once I saw her photography website I knew she was the right one to book for my wedding. Vanessa Vargas photography was wonderful. I loved all my wedding photos. We had a hard time choosing our selection of photos so we decided to upgrade our package to get all photos. Vanessa and her team did such an amazing job! I highly recommend her! It was truly a blessing getting to work with the amazing Vanessa Vargas! After searching Wedding Wire and visiting multiple photographers pages I could tell her talent and work far surpassed other photographers in the area. Vanessa was always quick to respond to any questions and I enjoyed how professional and organized she was so I knew exactly what my package included. She was also flexible in modifying one of her standard packages to meet my needs which I very much appreciated. She has a beautiful personality and made us feel so comfortable thought the entire session. My husband and I are a very affectionate and romantic couple and she was sure to capture all those special moments and emotions. You can imagine how excited we were to get that email that our images were ready to view. What we did not expect was how each image would take our breath away. Vanessa is not only on time, she is EARLY! On a wedding day you need as much to run smoothly as possible. When I was finishing up my look (we eloped) she worked on shooting my accessories, dress, etc. These photos ended up being very sentimental for me. Vanessa and her team showed up earlier than expected to capture priceless moments of me and my bridal party getting ready and she made the atmosphere so comfortable for everyone. I loved how the pictures came out. Vanessa was very communicative of what I wanted and responded with such professionalism. Vanessa is a wonderful photographer. Vanessa and I had a phone meeting prior to the wedding (I live in Illinois). We planed the day, what we were going to do and how much time we would have before sunset. When the day came our schedule had to change. My hairdresser took a little longer then expected (two hours) and we lost most of our picture time. Vanessa was very flexible. She realized we were not going to get the pictures at the location we wanted so she scouted out a different location to take pictures. Our pictures came out beautifully. She has a gifted eye for photography. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a photographer near Rincon.

Vanessa was amazing! I never liked getting my picture taken but she made me feel so comfortable and pretty! By the end of our session, she made me and my husband feel like models!
Throughout the whole time (pre-wedding, wedding ceremony, and picture session afterwards), Vanessa was very easy-going (she let me be me) while being very professional. She always catered to my needs and wants before anything else. And, the most important thing was that the pictures turned out to be beautiful! My whole family was in awe of her work! She made me feel great and she made the pictures look breathtaking! I would definitely recommend her for any type of event!!

Vanessa was wonderful!!! Our very casual beach ceremony was reflected beautifully through the her photos. We had rain almost all day except the 2-3 hour window of our ceremony and lucky enough to have the most beautiful rainbow as a backdrop. Thank you for capturing the most memorable day of our lives! We will treasure them forever.

Vanessa was amazing. Everything we asked for she delivered!!!! She did my brothers wedding a year ago and we fell in love with her style then. We are so happy we went with Vanessa and we are excited to look back at our pictures years to come.

Vanessa and Ishmael were amazing! We decided last minute to have a photographer and Sarah at All Events PR recommended Vanessa...it was one of the best decisions we ever made. She was very affordable, calm, flexible, punctual and since the package included a second shooter, we got many different perspectives and she was able to shoot my fiancé and I getting ready at the same time. We just got the photos back and they are incredible-the lighting, her famous sunset shot, the candid pictures and formal photos make us re-live that day every time we look at them and are more beautiful than we ever imagined. We are so happy we decided to work with Vanessa and would recommend her to any Bride who wants an amazing photographer for a very fair price!

Vanessa was amazing! She made me feel very comfortable booking a photographer online. She made sure I got every picture we wanted and even stayed longer than we had agreed to in order for that to happen. She was professional and answered all of my many questions before and after the wedding. Vanessa has the best destination wedding packages I could find!

Vanessa is an amazing photographer! I was nervous booking a photographer online, but she made me feel confident that everything would be perfect...and it was! I cannot say enough great things about Vanessa Vargas and her team!! We had engagement pictures done in Cancun and they turned out so amazing. They really captured the love of my then fiance and I.. the pictures truly are gorgeous. Then once my fiance and I got married, we went back to Cancun for our honeymoon. I brought my wedding dress with me, and we had a photoshoot done on the isle of Isla Mujeres! I had always dreamed of a beach wedding, but since we both have large families, it wouldn't have been possible to share our day with all of them, which was important to us. I am so blown away by the photos. They are absolutely stunning!!! The photos are so natural and us. I have so many hanging in our house now because they truly tell a story. That's how you know a photographer is amazing at what they do.. you look at the photo and can feel the love pouring out of it. I am so glad we did photos on our honeymoon!! I cannot thank Vanessa and her team enough!!!
