Ubi came very highly recommended to us and having been to a few weddings he had DJ'd, I felt comfortable hiring him without doing too much shopping around. He's not too involved until about a week before the wedding but he always answered any questions I had along the way. The only misstep was that we had asked for certain music during our cocktail hour which he didn't play, but otherwise he kept the dance floor full all night. He's great at reading the crowd and playing what the people want to dance to. We also hired him for our up lights which turned out beautifully. And we also hired a percussionist which really took it over the top. We loved having Ubi and I would definitely recommend him!

I was unable to book the main DJ myself as he was already booked on the date of our wedding, but we had excellent service from the DJ who played at our event. He was prompt with the progression of the reception and was able to keep the party moving well. We had a multicultural group at the wedding and he played a bunch of great music early on to get the older crowd up and on their feet, instantly filling the dance floor, and there was only a very small lull in how full the dance floor was while the music transitioned to things that would get the younger people up and moving. He also suggested moving up the timeline of some of our events when they appeared to be too spaced apart. The music selection was good (I left a lot of it open to requests) and he was very strict with our "don't play" list, much to my friends disappointment! My fiancee did notice that our DJ occasionally forgot to move the mic farther from his face when speaking to those making requests or to the planner, but it didn't disrupt the party. We really enjoyed the service from UBIS and they helped to make the party.

My wedding was at The Cruz Bldg. and everything was spectacular but one of the most important things as far as I'm concerned is the music. People will always remember how much fun they had or did not have at an event. I had requested Evelio, who is one of Ubi's DJ's and he was PHENOMENAL! I gave him a list of a few songs so that he could get a "vibe" of what we wanted and not only did he deliver but certainly surpassed our expectations! We had "Hora Loca" and all the guests had an awesome time! People did not stop dancing, making the wedding exactly what I had envisioned. Fun, fun, fun is the best description I can give!

Ubi was GREAT and made our evening!!! He came highly recommend by our venue and definitely made the evening so much fun. We had a bi-lingual group and he did a great job of mixing the music so that everyone was on the dance floor and partying all night. He was very professional and extremely easy to work with. Ubis Music & Lighting was great in every way, we used Ubi's team for all our ceremony/cocktail hour/and reception. The Ceremony music was on point, I couldn't believe how flawless all the ceremony music and microphone sounds came out. During the reception the DJ was attentive with all our planned schedule and he was able to bring the crowd young and old into the dance floor, everyone had an amazing time. In addition all of the lighting that was put together by Ubi and his team came out expectacular, it brough the color purple we invisioned for our Reception and the silver DJ stage matched perfectly with the rest of our decor.

DJ Ubi is great. The lighting of our venue was amazing and beautiful. We loved it. Rick was the DJ at our party and the music was great. He was great reading the crowd and playing all the songs we asked. Our guests and us danced all night.

I would strongly recommend using UBIS Music and Lighting. They listened and played all the music we requested and kept the dance floor packed for the entire evening. They also made sure that the ceremony music was timed just right so the song would not run out before the bride got to the alter. Thank you UBIS.

As the second wedding he's done in the family once again UBI was amazing. He gives you a must play list as well as a dont play list he does an amazing job at keeping the crowd going and he feeds off of the crowd a lot but maintains it based on your requests. he even double checks everything with you before the reception. the sound and dance lights were awesome and he has a good dj voice that gets people going. his website has a lot of great suggestions for each song choice and of course he also accepts your own. The BEST wedding DJ in Miami! My sister used him for her wedding over 8 years ago, & when I got engaged last year, he was one of the first vendors I booked. He provided lighting for us at our venue as well. At first, we chose the purple lighting, but then we changed our minds to amber lighting. When I walked into the reception venue (Douglas Entrance), I was blown away with the lighting! It fit the mood I wanted to set for our wedding, romantic. Very happy we chose the amber lighting. Ubi was a great master of ceremony. He played most of the songs that I requested & had everybody dancing ( our guests were dancing to the dinner music!). All of my guests kept on telling me that the music was awesome! He is a true professional & gives you honest advice. If you get married in Miami, he is your man for DJ & Lighting.
