All guests felt welcomed immediately by the friendly and accommodating staff. Also, its 100 year old beautiful dark wood dining rooms enhance any get together, making it feel intimate and warm. All guests were wowed by the delicious plated meals. All three choices were appreciated and loved by all guests. The staff made it possible for our wedding reception to unfold seamlessly. We would recommend Twin Owls Steak House for any occasion, big or small. Your friends and family will feel right at home in this cozy, beautiful, and intimate setting in the mountains. I just had my wedding reception here two days ago, and it was perfect. Sandra was so accommodating during our planning process, rearranging table set-ups, making arrangements for a guest in a wheelchair, ensuring we had options for our vegetarian guests, and generally answering all of my questions very thoroughly. The night went so smoothly, even though we started a little earlier than planned due to the weather. Everyone loved the food (especially the mashed potatoes), and the wait-staff and bartenders were great. I would definitely recommend this venue to a friend; it is a beautiful setting that doesn't need much extra decoration, with amazing food, wonderful service, and is overall a great package. The Twin Owls Steakhouse provided an absolutely perfect site for our wedding reception. We got married at the Black Canyon Inn’s pavilion, which is mere steps away from the entrance to the steakhouse. Our guests enjoyed delicious cocktails and appetizers on the lawn of the Inn right outside the steakhouse, and the service was truly excellent. Then we moved inside to the large dining room, which needs very few decorations due to its gorgeous furnishings. The fantastic service continued throughout the night, from the bartending to the events coordination to the bussing. We heard nothing but rave reviews of the food – particularly the filet mignon with béarnaise sauce. Thank you so much, Twin Owls, for making our wedding reception beautiful, delicious, and unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty, and we look forward to returning on our anniversaries down the road.

This was an amazing venue! Everyone still raves about the quality of the food, eventhough we did a buffet. The staff was very responsive and friendly and professional.

We loved the Twin Owls Steakhouse for our reception venue! Following our ceremony at the pavilion, guests moved down to the lawn for a cocktail party that was fantastic! Following the cocktail party we moved inside for our reception. The food was wonderful! Many of our guests commented that the food was the best they'd ever tasted at a wedding. We came up a couple months in advance and tasted the food with no problems. We worked with Sandra and she always got back to us with any questions we might have. Everything went very smoothly, we wouldn't have changed a thing!

We can't say enough good thigs about how we were taken care of. This venue is THE BEST reception site in Estes. From the friendly service, to the AMAZING food to the great atmosphere, this place has it all. We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was amazing! I have zero complaints about Twin Owls. The food was great, the service was great! Everyone had an amazing time! I would definitely recommend them!

I was very pleased with this restaurant they were very helpful along the way. They have a great menu to choose from, and everyone loved the food. They were very helpful with the planning, and the decorating. It was nice that we reserved our own private room, I believe it was the garden room. It was quiet, and we could play our own music. It was a great atmosphere, and the wall of windows was great for letting in natural lighting also.

Everyone at the reception raved about the food and the atmosphere at the Twin Owls Steakhouse. They were very easy to work with and were quick to respond when I had questions.

Twin Owls was great for our reception! They were great along the entire process of planning and made everything very easy and low stress. We were able to get the room setup and decorate the day before the event rather than the day of as they usually do which helped us out a TON. I can't say enough how thankful I am that we did our reception with them in the loft room. Even though the room was smaller (which was what we wanted for our smaller party), there was still room to dance and no one felt cramped. I know several of the guys had fun with the bartenders in the bar as well. The staff and atmosphere were just terrific - I cannot say enough good about them.
The food was good, although different if you're not used to high class meals. We went in for a "tasting" as dinner but unfortunately not much of what's on the event menu is on the regular menu so we didn't get the chance to taste what we were actually going to serve exactly, but the dinner was worth it to tell us the style of the food.

Sandra at the Twin Owls was great with our unique reception. We had some difficulty communicating our alcohol choices, but worked it out. The servers, bartender, and food were fantastic! We received so many compliments on the reception! Would rather not have had seating arrangements.

Sandra and Julie worked together to make our evening absolutely wonderful. The staff was soooo attentive of my husband and I, making sure we had water, drinks, and something to eat if ever we needed. They worked with our DJ to coordinate everything behind the scenes so my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. It was a little tough that they opened for decorating at 12:30 on the day-of ... with the wedding at 3:30 I was already getting hair and make-up done and wasn't able to do up the steakhouse on my own. It was tough - I didn't want to ask bridesmaids or mom/stepmom to do it because I wanted them with me during hair and makeup. So that was a little frustrating and "inflexible" The food... holy moly it is the best food we or any of our guests have ever eaten. This is NOT "wedding food" I mean... baked brie, elk bites, NY strip... unbelievable. So good. But WOOOOOWWWW do you pay for it. That is the only reason I had to give value 4 stars... not that it is more expensive than anywhere else in Estes for a wedding... but everyone up there charges too much. So just throw down and do it!!

I was looking for a reception site that felt authentic, not a cookie cutter place with drop ceilings. We also wanted great food and it is just a few steps from the fabulous Black Canyon Inn where our ceremony was held. Sandra was the wedding coordinator for our wedding. I sometimes played phone tag with her but that is to be expected during the busy wedding season. They were accommodating to all of our special requests for food. My husband has special dietary needs as did my grandmother and another guest. They were flexible with our schedule for setting up, we had a lunch reception and they let us in at 7am to set up. The food was great the staff was attentive. My only issue was that we weren't able taste our exact menu before the wedding so I was a bit surprised when the saltimbocca had ham instead of prosciutto. Overall a beautiful location and great food.

Generally, our experience at Twin Owls Steakhouse was positive. We got married at the Black Canyon Inn, so it was nice having the reception at the same location. The food was very good and the service at the dinner was excellent. We did have some issues with communication; emails and phone calls weren't always returned promptly, but things came together at the end. We had our reception in the loft area, which provided a nice setting and privacy. However, our wedding was in July, so it did get very warm since there was no AC. We had 25 people there, and I can't imagine having any more up there because the heat would have been too much.
Overall, things were good, and I would recommend Twin Owls Steakhouse to a friend.

We had a very small wedding and this is where we had our dinner following the wedding. I really enjoyed my fillet and I believe my brother-in-law enjoyed his fish. He woofed it down. However, I would say that if you are a vegetarian perhaps this is not the place for you.
