We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! Turf Valley has it all - great ballrooms, delicious food, indoor/outdoor service locations, hotel accommodations for out-of-town guests, and an absolute spectacular staff! Wendy & Mia were extremely easy to work with and provided everything we needed to ensure how day went off without any glitches.
My guests are still raving about the food, how easy the "flow of the day" went, and how all of the support staff were very friendly and accommodating; go cannot go wrong by choosing Turf Valley for your wedding or any other event!Turf Valley Resort's reply:

Turf Valley Resort is the best wedding venue! Choosing Turf Valley was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. As soon as we reached out to inquire about availability, Mia and Carol were incredible at helping us bring our reception to light. From timely and helpful communication, to bringing our reception decor and set up to life, they helped us make the wedding planning process seamless and better. They have fantastic customer service and always ensure that all of your needs are taken care of for your events. Beautiful Venue
We had a great experience with Turf Valley! We worked with Wendy, Mia, and Adam. Wendy and Mia showed great responsiveness and professionalism throughout our planning process. Adam was great for the day of our wedding! We received MANY compliments on the food which is catered by Turf Valley. The ceremony space was beautiful, I didn’t even have to decorate it! Turf Valley Resort was a wonderful place to hold our wedding! It was super easy having so much that you could already do on site: the hotel, the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and the food for the cocktail hour and the reception. The perfect venue for the perfect day! As soon as we saw the venue, we knew we wanted to get married here. From the outdoor garden to the ballroom and all of the amenities they offered, this was the perfect place to gather all of our family and friends. We were greeted with the best hospitality as soon as we met Jenny. We worked with Jenny and Jianna all the way up to the wedding day and they made the whole process so easy and stress free. Our maître d’ Adam was the best! He went above and beyond from the moment we met him. He completely exceeded our expectations and made our whole day run so smoothly. Not only is the staff so caring and detailed oriented but the food was also amazing. We received so many compliments on every detail of our wedding - venue, staff, food. I cannot say enough about this place. Turf Valley Resort is exactly what I was looking for when it came to being able to provide everything!!! They have a hotel on site which made it such a memorable weekend. We had our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. Our ceremony was outside at the Pergula which is absolutely stunning and reception inside. Mia and Wendy especially were amazing to work with!!!! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The entire staff is extremely helpful and kind. We toured other venues and this was actually more so in our budget than others. Turf Valley did a great job of helping us coordinate everything into a one-stop-shop solution. We were already married at a court house so we did a reception after the fact in the Terrace on the Green and hosted our out of town guests in the hotel through a block. We had about a hundred back and forth emails before the event making sure every last detail was correct. Mia & Carol were very responsive in answering our many, many questions. The staff on the day of the event were very accommodating in switching up the seating and tables after we had unexpected last minute cancelations from a few of our guests. The food was wonderful (we strongly recommend doing their annual wedding expo and doing the tasting prior to picking). The menu is versatile and we were only able to find a single thing we didn't love when trying the entirety of the options at the tasting event. Our guests were complimentary of the hotel rooms and felt the block rate discounts were very fair. Our Maitre D, Chris, was fantastic and anything we asked him for he took care of very quickly. When we stepped away to take more pictures during dinner we were surprised to notice the staff had already put food covers over our dinners to make sure they didn't get cold. Every time I returned back to the bride/groom table my water was refilled. They were on top of things the entire night. Last and probably most important, the staff was having fun with us. They were dancing along with the songs (shoutout to the bartender and waitstaff) and having a great time while also keeping everything moving. Overall, the reception was a great experience for everyone and we felt the price was extremely fair for the value we got.Turf Valley Resort's reply:

The team at Turf Valley is exceptional. They are very organized and detail-oriented. The location for the outdoor ceremony was spectacular. From the garden surrounding the pergola to the water feature in the background, our wedding day is one we will remember for a long time. The food was a big hit. They were able to accommodate our different dietary needs and still make it tasty. We used the Cameo Ballroom, and it was a great size for our guest count. I have nothing bad to say. Not one thing. Our wedding went perfectly, all of the staff were phenomenal. We and all of our wedding guests absolutely loved Turf Valley Resort! Every vendor we hired also spoke extremely highly of Turf Valley and had worked many previous events on site. Jianna and Jenny were incredibly helpful and responsive in all our planning efforts. We didn’t use any wedding planners or external day of coordinators, but the Turf Valley wedding staff and our Maitre d's Gloria and Bria covered everything for us and kept all of us to our schedule flawlessly. We had almost 200 guests and they all raved about the perfectly cooked filets and salmon, attentive bartenders, and all of the resort accommodations all weekend! We rented the Cameo Ballroom, which was great to have the ballroom (for our ceremony and flipped for the dinner), outside patio with heaters, and lobby area with bar, restrooms, and bridal suite. Most of our guests stayed on site which extended the party to an amazing entire weekend! The night before the wedding and after the wedding, we were able to mingle with our guests in the hotel lobby bar and many of our guests also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, pool, golfing, and spa! We also rented two large hospitality suites for the Bride and Groom getting ready spaces and were able to easily entertain 10-15+ people in each room. Everything about Turf Valley was so perfect and we cannot recommend the resort and entire staff enough to any other future wedding couples!Turf Valley Resort's reply:

We can’t recommend Turf Valley enough! It was the perfect setting for us and accommodated both local and out-of-town guests. We loved that everything was all in one place, from the ceremony to the reception to hotel rooms. The grounds are beautiful, and the outdoor ceremony space is incredibly picturesque. Our guests LOVED the food, and we received so many compliments on the catering! The staff was super helpful and welcoming, and they really helped make our wedding day go smoothly. Jenny and Jianna were absolutely amazing, clearly communicating throughout the entire planning process, and Latisha, our maitre d', took care of any loose ends on the big day. Our wedding day (and weekend) at Turf Valley was perfect!! Jianna was wonderful to communicate and work with. Adam was a very attentive and kind maître d. Our wedding ceremony in the garden was beautiful and the Terrace on the Green room was perfect for our reception. The venue was clean and staff seem to take pride in making sure everything looks perfect. MANY of our guests commented that the food was top notch! All of the wait staff was attentive, helpful, and kind. Our dog was our flower girl which meant so much that she could be with us for our special day.
We hosted a "Welcome Reception" at Alexandra's Restaurant where the food was spectacular again and everyone was wonderful to coordinate and work with. Our guests who stayed on site also enjoyed breakfast at Alexandra's the next morning.
I feel the money we spent was so well worth it and the “product” we received went above and beyond our expectations! We thank everyone at Turf Valley for making our wedding perfect.

We had the most wonderful experience working with Turf Valley Resort for our wedding day. After researching multiple venues, once we set foot in Turf Valley, we knew it was the perfect choice for us. The convenience of having both the venue and catering included in one package was a huge relief and simplified our decision-making process. We especially appreciated how flexible the team was in accommodating our specific desires for the venue setup, making our vision come to life seamlessly.
Jenny and Jianna from Turf Valley were an absolute delight to work with. Their professionalism and easy-going nature made the entire planning process stress-free. Communication with them was top-notch, and they were always available to address any questions or concerns we had. Their dedication to making our day truly special was evident in every detail.

Amazing experience
Wow what a day! They really do a great job at Turf Valley! The food was unbelievable and the service was amazing. Shout out to Mr. Mail for being there for us with all of our needs. Amy for helping us set up.:) Latisha was incredible and made sure we were on time for everything and that we always had a drink in our hand and catered to all of our wants and needs. She even had some food set aside and drinks so that we could get away from the madness for awhile during cocktail hour. And then there’s Carol. Where do I even begin….. she is an AMAZING person. She made it so easy for us to do everything that involved our wedding. There are so many venues/ people that tell you ‘No’ but Carol and her team made it happen no matter what. We truly gained a friend through this experience . Thank you so much for being you, Carol :). Having everything in one place is a must have. Hotel, rehearsal, and wedding =easy happiness. It makes a weekend out of such a fast paced event. They really do a fantastic job. I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect place to have a wedding and everything was so easy. Everything was taken care of and I was amazed when it all came together. You think when a venue takes notes on specifics that you’re taking a chance, NOT THERE. Our wedding at Turf Valley was a great success because of the lovely team that helped us through the entire process. Jenny Betlejewski, Jianna Shipler, and Latisha Davidson were such a joy to work with. Our wedding ceremony was in the garden and reception was held in the Waterford Ballroom. Jenny and Jianna were super responsive to all our questions and requests up until the day before and Latisha was present the day of with the rest of the team at Turf Valley and kept everything running smoothly. Our guests had a wonderful time, the food was great, our vendors were supported, and overall it was just a wonderful day! We also did a rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and out-of-town guests at their restaurant (Alexandra's) the evening before and all had a wonderful time. We used Turf Valley as our venue for our ceremony and reception. The place was wonderfully decorated for our big event. There were plenty of places to take wonderful photos. Our Maître was Latisha Davidson. She did a fantastic job ensuring the bride and groom were cared for. I had the most beautiful wedding at Turf Valley! The event staff was excellent and Jenny B. made the entire wedding planning process very easy. We enjoyed the spa, golf, and pool and there was something for everyone! Our guests are still talking about how excellent the food was as well. We appreciated the all inclusive venue being older with kids and elderly parents. The Garden provided the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony with enough shade for a summer wedding. Turf Valley really took care of us. Their events coordination staff was professional and very responsive. They answered all our questions leading up to the day and were very thorough so the day could go seamlessly! The onsite contact for our day was amazing. She was calm and really made sure that we didn't have a thing to worry about. Our ceremony was supposed to be outside, but it rained unexpectedly and everyone was great about relocating us to a wonderful indoor space and decorating it. The staff really took care of us and our guests. The food was excellent and bartender was fabulous! We had the best time and would recommend this venue!Turf Valley Resort's reply:

Turf Valley surpassed all of our expectations and was above and beyond! If we could do it all over again, we would do it exactly the same. Jenny B. was the catering director who coordinated everything for us the entire process. She is beyond fantastic. She answered my millions of emails and questions, she always had an answer to my questions, she always answered very quickly, she is just so reliable, patient, knowledgeable. You can tell she’s done a million weddings because she just knows everything. This helped make us feel SO calm while wedding planning because she, and everyone working there, is very trustworthy and professional. Our maitre D on the day of, was Gloria F. She was also amazing!!! She also had an answer to all our questions, she was extremely on top of things, she set up everything and broke it all down afterwards, made everything run smoothly. She even made sure we had drinks and food! She was above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about Jenny and Gloria, as well as the whole staff there. They are all very very willing to help and give you a great experience - which they did. Even during the reception, they must have had two dozen servers because they were so incredibly quick and efficient bringing out the food like a well-oiled machine, they were very accommodating and helpful.
The venue itself was fantastic. Every single thing we ate - from the wedding dinner to the cocktail hour apps to the breakfast and lunches we ate at the restaurant all weekend - was exceptional. All our guests said this, and continue to tell us a month later. It was so awesome having our venue here because the hotel and after party and reception were all at the same place. I feel like that really made our wedding weekend. After the wedding, we all went to the hotel bar, the bartenders were great as well. We had 180 guests and there was enough room for everyone. It was great seeing all our friends and family Sunday morning having breakfast, and Friday night after our rehearsal, in the same place. The groomsmen and some of our guests even went golfing the Friday before, and they said the course is really awesome so that was very fun. We were in the Cameo ballroom and it was just absolutely perfect - perfect size, big dancefloor, patio overlooking the golf course.
By the way, all the vendors we booked were from Turf Valley’s preferred vendors, and they were all awesome as well.
Lastly, there were so many other events going on at the same exact time as ours. A staff member told us this was one of their busiest weekends and all the hotel rooms and all the event rooms were completely booked, including the one right next door to us. That did not impact us at all - didn’t even notice that was the case.

The title says it all! They are competitively and don't lack at all in quality. The grounds are beautiful and the hospitality suites are HUGE!! Food was great and the service was absolutely excellent. We will coming back sooner than later just to spend a weekend at Turf. The staff was very friendly and helpful on our special day! They were quick to help set up all the extra items I brought in for the wedding and prepared for everything. My Wedding Day was perfect!
Turf Valley was a great place to get married at! We wanted something super convenient, all in one place and that’s what we got! Jaime was our coordinator who helped us pick our wedding ballroom/ planning along the way and we couldn’t have been happier! She was so kind, thoughtful, followed up and responded quickly. She was super organized with all of our wedding details and for us who have never been married before she was very helpful at providing feedback. Jaime was the best, if I had to plan another event I would request her! The food tasting was super fun! We got to try more than just what we had our eye on at Turf valleys tasting event, open bar and enjoyed company with many other bride and grooms, got different ideas, etc. We loved the way they did that. The food we choose for our wedding was was delicious, everyone who attended our wedding said the food was amazing! The day of coordinator/ the rehearsal coordinator were so helpful and made sure they checked in on us and that we had everything we needed. We also held our rehearsal dinner in the Alexandra’s restaurant at the hotel which was amazing! They had everything super organized and the service was excellent and again the food was amazing. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, and exactly what I was looking for! I’m glad I found something so beautiful so close to Baltimore and DC, as well as the airport for my out of town guests.

Storybook Wedding at Turf Valley
Our experience planning and hosting a wedding at Turf Valley was simply amazing. If you are looking for a one-stop-shop this is your venue. We loved the location and having everything on property - rooms, golf, hospitality suite, ceremony and reception with an after hours lobby bar. Amazing Wedding Experience
Turf Valley Resort gave me my picture-perfect wedding experience. it was a night that everyone remember. Turf valley wedding
I can not say enough good things about this venue! From carol all the way to the day of staff! They were attentive, responsive, and just all around amazing. Carol never once hesitated to answer any of my off the wall questions or requests and Chris my day of person was fantastic. My husbands drink never went empty, he was so attentive to us and our needs on the entire day through the whole night. The staff was exceptional. Food was fantastic. My guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. We were able to hold the ceremony outside even in a little rain! And the staff handled it perfectly! The Best Wedding Venue Ever!
Turf Valley is a class act when it comes to putting on weddings! Right after getting engaged (October 2020), we immediately booked our wedding date at Turf Valley, far in advanced. We worked with Turf Valley and our coordinator there, Carol Sirchio, for over a year and a half to plan our wedding. Everyone was very responsive, organized, and professional, from beginning to end. By the time we got to our wedding day, Turf Valley and its staff ensured that the experience was as stress free as possible so that we could truly enjoy our special day. I would recommend Turf Valley as a wedding venue a million times over! We planned my daughters wedding in 7 months and we were extremely impressed with what Turf Valley had to offer! There are several ballrooms to choose from, beautilful scenery, professional stafff all around! The food was amazing and we were told by many guests how great the food was with a good sized portion. The appetizers were just as tasty! The cake is included with wedding reception package which made things a bit easier. The staff set up the ballroom and directed and our vision came true! When I first met with Turf Valley Resort, I had major sticker shock. Once I compared to other venues that were seemingly less expensive, I came to realize all the little things added up and those other venues turned out to be more expensive in the end. The biggest draw for TVR was the ceremony, reception, and guest accommodations were all in the same beautiful location! The staff at the hotel was amazing, and the event staff was equally amazing! I had Carol throughout the majority of the process, which ended up being longer than originally anticipated (thanks COVID!). She was amazingly patient with me as I had a million questions, and took the time to answer each and every email I sent, day or night!
The only suggestion I would give to brides and grooms looking at TVR as their potential venue, is to hire a day-of decorator OR make sure you have a few guests willing to help decorate that are not part of the bridal party. We luckily were able to get in the reception space the night before, but the typical timeframe for decorations is 3 hours before the start of the event. On that same note I would also suggest to TVR to provide a list of recommended day-of decorators that are familiar with the space to brides/grooms.
Overall my husband and I had an amazing experience, and our guests all commented that the accommodations were great, and that it was the best party/wedding they had been to in a while!…and if you/your family enjoys adult beverages, pick one of the packages with the upgraded bar included, it’s cheaper than getting the basic package with a bar upgrade added 😉Turf Valley Resort's reply:

I cannot sing Turf Valley's praises enough. Our original wedding date was March 2020, and it got canceled 2 weeks out. We postponed to August 2020, and then eventually to July 2021. We worked with Jenny and she was kind, communicative, and organized throughout the whole process. Our actual wedding day was perfect - we had unpredictable weather and the TV staff changed our ceremony from outside to inside to outside seamlessly and without complaint. The food was beyond delicious and the service was impeccable. Paul, the maitre d', took care of everything and so many of my guests remarked how smooth and relaxed the whole event was. Turf Valley was everything and more we could have asked for. Our catering manager, Jaime, made the whole process an amazing experience! She was so communicative and completely transparent with us. She helped us weigh pros and cons and used her expertise to help us make sure we were making the best decisions possible for us. This was especially helpful over the past year while we planned during COVID and we didn’t know what things would look like. Jaime helped us to edit our contract given the restrictions and find an option that both TV and we were comfortable with. What I loved most about Jaime is her willingness to pick up the phone and call rather than responding via email. It helped to make sure we were truly on the same page rather than assuming everything got relayed effectively via email. That really showed me her desire to go above and beyond for us and to make our day as perfect as she possibly could. I could rave about her for days. But, also worth noting is the quality of the resort. The garden is gorgeous and perfect for an outdoor ceremony! Our banquet manager, Chris, was also phenomenal and ensured the entire evening went without hiccups. The food was incredible and the vendors all worked so well together to make for a seamless evening. TV was extremely accommodating with where we could store decor before and after the event. They really did everything to make our day as seamless as possible. We also loved the fact we could have our guests stay on site and have Alexandra’s right on site as well for dining and rehearsal dinner needs. They really have everything in one place which made our lives so much easier! My daughter's wedding was absolutely perfect. Jaime Petit was the Catering Sales Manager who handled every detail perfectly. She communicated well with my daughter and did not let any detail go unnoticed. Chris Goodwin was the Maitre d who made sure everything flowed smoothly and exactly as they wanted. The Garden area were the ceremony was held was beautifully manicured. The Cameo room was the perfect room for the wedding, especially with the large patio and firepits. The DanceMaster team, Don and Sue Fowler, kept all the fun going all night long. The culinary team did an excellent job with the appetizers and dinner. Most banquet facilities do not serve food as good as Turf Valleys. We received so many compliments on the food, the DJ's and of course Turf valley. 100% perfection from start to end
Alright, this has been my hardest review to write... choosing the venue and caterer is overwhelming, it is the start of the whole wedding planning process. It is a big decision, it is what you spend the most of your budget on and I can say with full confidence that choosing Turf Valley was the best decision we made. After we signed and began planning, we didn't once question it. Jenny B thinks of everything, if you have a question, she has the answer and the answer after that! She is three steps ahead of poor wedding couples, who are clueless in how to plan a wedding (let's be honest most of us are somewhat clueless if we haven't done it before). The Waterford Ballroom was absolutely stunning! It was inviting, romantic, classic, and still personalized, so it didn't feel cookie cutter. Turf Valley only hires professionals with an wonderful attitude, in what sometimes feels like a cutthroat industry. If you are hoping to reduce stress during the process of wedding planning, Turf Valley is the only choice. Never once was planning "chaotic", we were easily guided through food options, cake tastings, and other selections at such a manageable pace. Our guests were blown away at the convenience (no shuttle buses or Ubers necessary!!), the details, the food, and bar. I am already plotting how I can have another event at Turf Valley! Jenny B set us up for the months leading up to the wedding, and Chris, our maitre d', treated us like royalty the night of. I have nothing but a smile and a warmed heart when I reflect on our flawless wedding, we were so lucky to have chosen Turf Valley and we would easily make the same decision all over again.Turf Valley Resort's reply:

Perfect Location
We had a great experience working with Jaime at Turf Valley. She was super responsive and helpful when we were trying to navigate the wedding planning experience. Our wedding had about 135 people and we had no problem fitting into the Waterford Ballroom. There ended up being 2 or 3 other wedding receptions at Turf Valley that day, but we were completely separate from everyone else in the Waterford (since it is on the other side of the resort by itself) and didn't even realize there were other weddings until post-reception. If you are going to have a wedding reception at Turf Valley, would definitely recommend being in the Waterford due to the privacy. The Turf Valley bars were an awesome addition for our wedding, we had guests partying until the very end of the night. Everyone was highly impressed with the venue and I would recommend having your wedding at Turf Valley to anyone interested in having a reception/hotel in the same location! -

We originally went with another venue but it ended up not being the right fit for various reasons. My parents really liked Turf Valley as there is an indoor option, places to get ready, various rooms for the events for the weekend, amenities galore, and it is convenient for out of town guests. I had some trepidation but it was the best possible venue we could have hoped for. Carol was in charge of helping us with the event and she really took charge. She was extremely helpful, answered questions thoughtfully and was very responsive, and made sure that we had everything we needed. The facility is spotless and well manicured. We had to have our ceremony inside because of rain and no one even knew because it went perfectly. The reception was perfect as well. They even had our food delivered to the room with a bottle of champagne. If you have any hesitancy, trust in Turf Valley. You won't be disappointed.Turf Valley Resort's reply:

We cannot day enough great things about Turf Valley! We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. The ceremony space, The Garden, was a beautiful space that was perfect for our wedding. We had our reception in the Waterford room and this was a great space for us and our guests. The staff was so attentive and the food was great! We worked with Carol S leading up to our wedding day and she was amazing. She helped us so much throughout the planning process and was always responsive and professional! Latisha was our Maitre’D the day of our wedding and she helped our day run very smoothly. -

From the start we worked with Jamie P to book all of the details, she was amazing with communicating any and all information we needed to make our day run smooth. Once the day of hit we had multiple staff members checking to make sure everything was perfect. From making sure our reception area and centerpieces were perfect, to checking in and making sure I was taken care of they truly made the day magical.

Christie Sent on 08/21/2018Absolutely amazing and painless experience! We had our ceremony out in the gardens which was beautiful and shaded. Everything ran seemless and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I have zero complaints! The hospitality suite is huge and can accommodate a lot of people getting ready. Our reception was in the grand ballroom and the food was delicious! The pool is newly renovated and the spa is great! Highly recommend using them for your BIG day!

Amanda Sent on 06/30/2018My husband and I got married at Turf Valley Resort on 5/12/18, and we are so happy we chose this venue! We toured several venues, and Turf Valley stood out from the start. We worked with Jenny B, and her customer service skills and knowledge were what made us so comfortable. Turf Valley is a beautiful setting, but what makes it different is that the staff genuinely care about making sure you have a perfect weddinh day.
We booked the outdoor garden ceremony space, as well as the Wedgewood Ballroom for our reception. Jenny made all parts of our contract easy to understand, and she answered any questions we had super quickly.
Turf Valley makes it easy for your guests to book hotel rooms at a discounted rate, and we were also given a wedding night stay at the hotel as a complimentary part of our package. Also, we were able to drop off our wedding items before the big day, and the staff set everything up perfectly. Hailey, one of the catering sales assistants, was great with helpinh us bring everything in to store before the wedding.
Our wedding day was perfect, even with the threat of rain. Jenny gave us a great alternative indoor ceremony location, and even though we ended up not needing it, it was a huge relief to know that was an option.
Our day of coordinator was Chris Goodwin, and he was extremely helpful. We met him at our rehearsal, and he was great at organizing everyone and helping us figure out logistics. The day of the wedding, he made sure everything ran smoothly, and my husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything.
On our wedding night, we came back to our room and found champagne, some treats, and a lovely note congratulating us on our marriage. It truly was a perfect day, and Turf Valley was a huge part of that.
