Toast Bridal's online store made it very easy to order exactly what we needed (once we finally picked a dress!). I didn't really interact with any customer service reps except to just follow up on my expected ship date, which was always the same as what was originally quoted on the site, so that met my expectations and I felt comfortable knowing everything was on time and processed as promised.

As far as sizing, our local tailor measured all my bridesmaids and we just compared them to the designer's size chart that was provided. It wasn't rocket science. The instructions provided were clear. With some minor adjustments by the tailor for the length and some straps taken up a little, everyone is ready to go with no drama or serious issues. This was the probably the easiest part of all my planning. I would highly recommend it!

The website is very easy to navigate and the immediate online customer service is phenomenal! I was wondering if they had a specific dress in stock, and Angela was online to immediately assist me. She even took my email address to double check in the store location the next day! I was discussing measurements with her and told her my concern in measurements for my bridesmaid gown that had been ordered last year. (Hello, Holiday feasts and irresistible sweets..you are the devil!) She provided measurement information that was never provided to me from the bridal boutique where my dress currently resides in New Orleans, LA. Being 5ft tall, I had no idea that the dress is going to sit 1 inch shorter on me. I also had no idea which measurement chart I was to follow due to never having tried on the dress! Angela was a gem and sent a link providing the measurement chart I needed to refer to. If their in-store service is anything like the prompt professional customer service I received over the internet, I would recommend this place to every bride and her maids! (THANK YOU ANGELA!)

My review is based solely on Toast Bridal's online store.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Toast Bridal, after an arduous hunt for just the right color and style of dress. I am having a destination wedding, on the beach, followed by an at-home reception in California a month later. Needless to say, having to find a beach appropriate dress that can be used again in a formal ballroom style reception was no easy task. But, I got very lucky and found a W Too dress that would fit both scenarios. I had all the bridesmaids go to a salon in our local area to try it on and get their correct size. But after seeing how much the boutique in my area was charging for the dress, I decided to look around and get pricing. Toast Bridal, by far, had the BEST pricing for the dress – even with the shipping charges the cost was still less than many of the boutiques in my area.

At first, I was very nervous about ordering these dresses online – after all, every other wedding I have been a part of always ordered their dresses from a traditional stand-alone boutique. What if I have problems with my order? What if I have questions? Toast Bridal made me feel so at ease with my ordering! I got in touch with their customer service department before ordering via email and telephone. I told them when my wedding date was, that I live in California, and the dates that we would be travelling. Their CS department advised me on the best time to order – even telling me when the cut off times are to have orders placed, to ensure the dresses are cut from the same dye lot. I placed the order, and as scheduled, the dresses were delivered with plenty of time for the bridesmaids to make alterations.

At the end of the day – the cost of the dress from Toast + shipping + alterations (at a seamstress we found locally) is still lower than what I would have spent at a traditional salon in Northern California.

If you are really nervous about the sizing or color of the dresses (as each computer monitor is different and colors/cuts can be skewed), I highly recommend you find a boutique near you that sells the dress to see it in real life. Every dress vendor has sizing quirks, so having your party actually try it on and see how it falls on their body helps so much.

From the very beginning of the process to the delivery of the dresses, Toast Bridal has exceeded all of my expectations. The dresses were in excellent condition (considering the cross country shipping), their customer service team was very prompt in their responses via email, and the delivery time was true to the estimate.

After reading some of these other reviews, I was kind of nervous ordering from the online store...the reviews were all hit and miss. But my experience with Toast Bridal could not have been better!! Hardly any online bridal shop allows returns, so that is no surprise there. And most of the bad reviews were from in-store shoppers, not online.

We chose Bari Jay bridesmaid dresses and studied very closely the Bari Jay sizing chart (although if you have bridal store near you that carries this designer, as long as you know what size your BM needs, fitting a dress should not be an issue- and when in doubt, order 1 size up). The Bari Jay sizing chart is true to size, so I ordered all 5 dresses together. I HIGHLY recommend doing this so the dresses will all be cut from the same dye lot.

If we had ordered the dresses from a shop in our hometown, we would've been paying almost TWICE the amount Toast offered (and the dresses we chose all happened to be on sale). The dresses came before the expected ship date they gave me, and we couldn't be happier with the quality or the responsiveness to the emails I sent inquiring our shipping status! Thank you Toast bridal :-) I will definitely recommend.

I found this salon through Dessy. My daughter found a dress that all of her bridesmaids could wear, but the salon chain in this area, House of Brides, wanted $250 plus alterations. HOB said that the dresses were more expensive in the store because the dresses are cut to order so that they'll match. They said that I could get them cheaper online, but the dresses are pulled from stock in the warehouse and there is no guarantee that they were cut from the same lot and might not match. Their online site claims that THEY WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD, but when I put in the Toast price for a price match I never heard anything back from them! Proof that the Toast price was great--and it was! Even the shipping was cheap! Since I ordered more than one dress, I paid bulk shipping and that came out to be only $8 a dress including insurance! The absolute lowest price anywhere was from Toast!
I was nervous about ordering online, but when I spoke to Angie at Toast I got a good vibe. She assured me that they were an authorized dealer (some places sell knock-offs!) and that the order would be insured. I got the bridesmaids' measurements and placed the order.
Our bridesmaids come from all over, so we really wanted to have them to distribute at the shower in July. The order was placed on 4/23. Angie said that it would be close because all Dessy dresses are cut to order (as opposed to what HOB told me), but that Dessy was good about shipping. Then we calculated the 4th of July and figured the dresses would arrive right after the shower on the 8th. Well, I don't know what kind of spell she cast, but they arrived mid-June! What a relief! The dresses were in perfect condition and look great! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, ANGIE!!!

I got my wedding dress, veil, and jewelry from Toast. Angela was fantastic - communicative, helpful, always pleasant and on-the-ball. My dress was gorgeous, and the jewelry Angela picked out for me was absolutely perfect. I got so many compliments, and the dress & jewelry looked far more expensive than what Angela charged! And the seamstress to whom Angela referred me was amazing as well. I highly recommend her!

I got 4 bridesmaid dress from them and they were great. Every where I read said they take about 7 or 8 weeks to deliver. I asked the lady I spoke with at Toast Bridal and she said they would take 4 weeks at most. I got the dresses about 2 or 3 weeks later and they were great. The store told me if I hadn't gotten them in 4 weeks to give them a call but I got them earlier so wasn't necessary. I know the store is in PA but I am in Kansas but Toast was the cheapest for that Alfred Sung dress. And they looked great. I wish I could post pictures!!

I loved this bridal shop! I was the only bride there as they accept private appointments and it felt very intimate! I have been to other salons where you are one of 10 brides roaming around. I brought all of my bridesmaids here to find dresses and it was a great experience to have all of the girls in the shop together trying on many dresses! The owner was fabulous and was able to pick out just the perfect dress for me! I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Our experience with Toast Bridal was about as glitch-free as you can get with wedding vendors. Angela is wonderful, especially because she is so low-key, while remaining at-the-ready to serve. The atmosphere in the shop is warm and welcoming and she only has one large fitting area, which is among all her samples in a loft portion of her shop. This is nice for a very personalized experience. All of her dresses are reasonably priced (under $2000). Dress was delivered on time at date promised. The seamstress we used (Virginia Barbaro) was excellent, patient, knowledgeable, and quick without sacrificing quality of workmanship. I (mother of the bride) also purchased my dress at Toast. This turned out to be one of our most enjoyable mother/daughter experiences in the wedding preparations.

My bestie (shout out Kriss!) took me to Toast Bridal when I was visiting her at Penn (after we had been sharing links for a month). It was about an hour outside the city but we took the train and only walked maybe 10 minutes to get there. It was very easy to find, organize dwell and immaculately clean and the consultant was firendly and helpful. I'm glad I got to visit and get the peace of mind to place bridesmaids order on their website. I would have ordered them in the sotre but some of my bridesmaids didn't have their measurements yet...ugh Ultimately, I ordered them online and they shipped the dresses to everyone from Tampa to Philly.

I loved working with Angela (the owner) from Toast Bridal. She was incredibly patient with me -- I went to try on my dress 3 times before buying it, and her experience is definitely an asset. She has a very welcoming personality that makes everyone feel at home.

Angela of Toast Bridal is great!! Of all the stores I visited (and I went to a TON!), the layout and atmosphere at Toast was like no other. It was a very comfortable place, one where I could bring my friends and mom and really spend time trying dresses on. Angela was great after I purchased my dress too, my mom even got her dress there too!! Thanks for everything Angela!

Toast Bridal is a lovely boutique type shop that has a very welcoming and friendly staff. The owner, Angela, is so helpful and patiently answers all your questions. She is a very nice person and was great to work with, and goes out of her way to accommodate her customers. The experience I had with buying my wedding dress and veil there was perfect, and they didn't pressure you or act snobby toward you like other wedding dress boutiques tend to do.
The only cons I found wasn't with the actual shop, but with the seamstress that they reccommended to me for my dress alterations (not associated or connected with Toast). The seamstress was very unprofessional, difficult, insensitive, and caused problems, and that was after she told me my dress wasn't there when i came to pick it up! Unbelievable! They didn't try very hard to resolve the problem until almost a week later. I would go to your own seamstress for the alterations, or try the new seamstress that Toast is using for their referrals now.

    Toast Bridal's reply:

Thank you for your lovely review, Lisa! You have always been one of our very favorite customers. This seamstress has been removed from our list of preferred providers of alterations services.

Toast Bridal did such an amazing job with our wedding dresses. Everything was perfect! Down to the last detail. The whole team was on top of everything! My MOH ordered the wrong color dress and they were able to change it for us the next day without any hassle. Just one of the many things that they did for us. We got so many compliments on what a beautiful and wonderful wedding it was and we owe part of it to Toast Bridal. I can't say enough about how perfect everything was and we are so greatfull to the gang at Toast Bridal who made our wedding day so incredibly special! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!!!

I was SO hesitant to use Toast Bridal for my dresses. I bit the bullet and gave it a shot despite the horrible reviews previous to me. They said the zippers were broke, color came in wrong, dress was ripped, customer service was horrible and rude, etc. I had none of these problems. My dresses all came exactly as ordered - everthing was perfect. They came sooner than expected, too! Came in 8 wks, I paid $40/dress extra for them to come in 9-13 wks. I used this site because after finding the dress in a local boutique for $220, this was a better deal at $160. HOWEVER, after shipping and the $40 extra to expedite the shipping, it came up pretty close to the price from the boutique, AND the lady at the local boutique was going to give them to me at $200 each including a belted ribon for the waist. Midway through the time waiting for the dresses I emailed toast bridal to check on the order. They double checked the order was being processed correctly and reassured me it was all good :) Very happy with the service!!

Only thing I knocked off the rating for was "flexibility" category. They do NOT accept returns/exchanges so this is a con.

    Toast Bridal's reply:

Thank you so much for your thorough review, Maggie! We are so glad that you have shared in the satisfactory experience that the vast majority of our customers enjoy. Can't wait to see some photos!

We ordered our bridesmaid dresses through Toast Bridal. I spotted the dress in another shop and fell in love with it, but at that shop it cost almost $250! I wasn't going to ask my girls to pay that for a dress. We searched online and discovered that Toast had the dress for a much more reasonable price. When we visited the store, Angela was very helpful. Half of my bridesmaids were local and half were long distance, and Angela was able to be flexible with how the dresses were ordered: some girls came into the shop to be measured and to order, and the other girls were each able to order online and have the dress shipped directly to her home. Our one groomswoman was able to order her dress in a different color, no problem (the bridesmaids wore green and the groomswoman wore the same dress in black--it looked great). Angela answered questions about sizing and was helpful. Apparently, when one of the dresses arrived in the store, the belt was missing, but Angela worked with my bridesmaid to get a new belt ASAP at no cost--I didn't even hear about the problem until it was resolved, which makes me happy. All of the girls, including the long distance girls, received their dresses in plenty of time to get alterations done near their homes before the wedding. I was happy with the service we received at Toast!

We bought four Eden Bridesmaids dresses through Toast Bridal. The actual store is near me, so we ordered one dress actually in the store, and the other 3 were ordered via the website. I felt comfortable ordering the dresses online because I had been in the store first, met Angela, and felt the were reputable.

All arrived quickly, within the estimated timeframe. All of the dresses were exactly what we ordered and were much cheaper than other stores we visited. The sizes were perfect and exactly as we expected!

My only complaint is that I wasn't able to pick the dresses up myself, and had to pay for shipping. The dresses were shipped directly from the store, which is down the street from me, so I would have rather picked them up myself. Instead, I was told that it would have been slightly more expensive to order them IN the store than online, yet I'd have to pay for shipping if I ordered online. That just didn't make much sense to me - but I wasn't going to argue over $30 for the whole order. Just was frustrating - not a huge deal though.

All in all, it was a good experience, and I'd recommend them - both the online store AND the store in Willow Grove, PA.

Also, with flexibility - they have very limited hours in the store - so if you need to get in there, there are few times they are open. Not an issue at all if you're ordering online!

I ordered a bridesmaid dress on a Thursday morning. By Friday afternoon I hadn't received a confirmation receipt, but my credit card had been charged and I could see that my order was "on hold". I was worried about the delayed receipt and the hold placed on my order, so I contacted Toast Bridal by e-mail (the phone number listed on Google says they don't have customer service via phone, only e-mai). I sent it Friday at about 11am (grain of salt, possible someone was out of the office or didn't have the chance to reply on Friday), but I didn't hear back until the following Tuesday afternoon.
What was the issue? I had selected a shipping period of 15-17 weeks and the date was 17 weeks and 2 days away. Customer service determined that shipping takes 3-4 days, so if you do order a dress here-- make sure the date you select is 3-4 days beyond the shipping period.
They determined that date was "too close" and I said I was willing to take the risk on shipping being delayed. They requested that I pay $15 to change the shipping date, or pay $25 to cancel my order-- as their policy clearly states (no sarcasm).
We sent several e-mails back and forth and then I stopped getting responses back, that was February 3rd. I haven't receive any communication until the 12th when I received an e-mail that my order was voided. A full refund was issued to my account, which I truly appreciate. Although I feel like customer service got frustrated with me and just voided my order to be rid of me. I really wasn't a pain, just pointed out that their determination of "too close" was subjective and I wasn't willing to pay another $15 to update the arrival day by one day, after they'd put my order on hold for almost a week.

I asked mi bridesmaid to order a dress from this website, and it would give an error message every time we attempted to place the order. We reached out via their 'contact us' page requesting assistance and never heard back a single thing! Talk about bad customer service!

When I chose a bridesmaid dress from Toast, Angela (owner) told me they run large and to order a size smaller if between sizes. On Toast’s website, the mfr. chart also says the dresses have extra room. When they came, all but 1 were too small, one had ink stains, and they were packaged in flimsy envelopes.

I informed Angela, and she said to report defects to the mfr, but if the mfr did not see a defect, we would be charged $75. I explained that this was a retail issue; we were told incorrectly to size down, but some girls couldn’t even zip their dresses and had to pay for complicated alterations that would change the sides of the dress. Angela again referred me to the mfr and said that size choices were up to the customer; in other words, it was not her problem.

Since it was clear she would not admit or correct the mistake, I wrote this:
"I understand that sizing information comes from the manufacturer and that it is up to customers to select their own sizes. However, it seems to me that you are trying to deflect this issue back to the manufacturer, when in reality it is a problem with your service. Your incorrect advice and obvious ignorance of the product you are selling has caused several people significant inconvenience and cost them alteration money that they otherwise would not have to spend. I see that along with your poor retail service you are also not interested in providing customer service for an expensive dress to rectify your mistake. Unfortunately I will only be able to provide negative reviews about you and Toast Bridal in the future."

    I received this response:
"I'm sorry you think my 8 years of experience with this company makes me ignorant of our product lines and that your being a bride makes you some kind of expert. Suffice it to say that my feelings toward your unnecessarily rude, obnoxious, and manipulative comments can be summarized in a simple hand gesture."

Don't be lured by lower prices; service is highly unprofessional.

    Toast Bridal's reply:

Katie visited our store without her bridesmaids. She was given a personal demonstration by a trained consultant who used Katie's own body to show her how measurements are correctly taken, given a copy of the manufacturer's size chart, and given a dress to try on that represented how she could expect her bridesmaids' dresses to fit. She left happy and proceeded to have her bridesmaids order from us. After the dresses were delivered and we received feedback that they were too small, we suggested that they be returned to us for a size defect inspection since we had given very specific instructions on how to order the correct sizes. No one returned their dresses to us for a sizing authentication, although, one of her bridesmaids did privately share with us the instructions Katie provided her on how to select a size, and we confirmed that these were not the instructions she was provided by Toast Bridal. We recommend everyone local schedule an appointment to be professionally measured and advised at Toast Bridal to avoid situations such as this. Those who are not local should be measured by a professional seamstress or tailor, preferably the same one who will be performing the alterations.

One person did send her dress back to us for a stain on the sleeve, which was promptly resolved by the manufacturer and returned to her in new condition.
We regret that the situation came to such a disappointing end for our relationship with this otherwise satisfied bride.

I read good reviews and went to Toast Bridal. What started as a pleasant experience turned into a nightmare. The store owner suggested custom cut which turns out to be completely unnecessary. After I signed the contract I was informed there is no seamstress on site and shoes that I picked and my dress was measured to a week before were discontinued. The dress arrived completely missized, not only it was not custom, but you could fit another set of breast my size on the top. The owner offered to pay for bust adjustment. I went to the recommended seamstress, who adjusted the dress unevenly and refused to do further alterations (dress was severely puckering between bust and lower waist). The seamstress also completely ruined the train. When I called the store the owner hang up on me and when I attempted to visit the store next day, I was almost pushed by the door outside as soon as the owner saw me. She refused to take any responsibility for her work or referral, and subsequently sent the letter to me stating I am not allowed back to the store calling me unreasonable. I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect your dress to fit after you paid over 1000 dollars when you 5’9” and weight 139! Not to mention nobody needs this kind of treatment a month before their wedding. I had to get another dress because everywhere I went I was told my dress is not sized properly and further ruined beyond repair. The dress I got from another place required minimal alterations and was ordered by size and customer care there was excellent. The store was very helpful and did not charge me rush delivery. I still to this day unable to get my money back from Toast Bridal even after contacting credit card company due to further lies that were reported about me. I would highly recommend avoiding this store.

    Toast Bridal's reply:

A custom cut may be recommended by the manufacturer if the bride's measurements are across multiple standardized sizes. Ordering a custom cut is optional. Elizabeth tried on her dress upon pickup, signed the accompanying documentation confirming that she received what she originally ordered, and left without incident.
Elizabeth was measured in a bra and, when her dress arrived, opted not to wear one with her gown. Every bride should always be measured in the undergarments, or lack thereof, that she plans to wear with her gown as it will make a difference in the final fit. According to her tailor, Elizabeth shared that she had also lost 15 pounds since ordering her gown. Weight loss will affect the fit of any dress.
Toast Bridal does not offer in-house alterations. We do recommend tailors, should the customer request it; however, our clients may have their alterations performed by anyone they choose.
Products may be discontinued at any time by their respective manufacturers. We encourage all customers to avoid the risk of discontinuations by not delaying purchase decisions. In this case, Elizabeth had the option of selecting another shoe style with the same heel height in which she was measured, which she declined.
Toast Bridal strives to treat our customers with the utmost respect and expects the same in return. Unfortunately, weddings are stressful and that can cause situations can escalate. Elizabeth returned to our store weeks later and attempted to interrupt another appointment by screaming at our staff and while we attempted to listen to her feedback and provide her with alternatives, she refused it. We regret that the gown Elizabeth ordered could not be returned or exchanged for a size that was more appropriate for her new figure.

Words cannot even begin to express how livid I am with my experience with Toast Bridal. Everyone must read this and STAY away from this boutique. Angela does NOT know how to size properly. She makes it clear that once you have purchased, you are stuck with it. No exchanges or returns. However, she advised my bridesmaids get certain sizes. We received the dresses and all of them were HUGE. Luckily, a couple of girls were able to get them altered but spent almost as much as they did on the dress to have them fixed. The other 3 dresses were so enormous that no seamstress could fix them. Angela has ignored all of my emails and calls. We are basically out $650. This was clearly not my fault as I did what she asked and got all the girls professionally measured. Angela sized them in wrong dresses. One girl who should have been a size 10, Angela said to get a size 20 dress. Another girl who should have been a size 12 was told to order a size 22. I went against my better judgement because Angela assured me the dresses ran small. Angela clearly has no idea what she is doing. Also all of the zippers on the dresses did not zip!!!!!! These dresses were very poor quality. I believe this place to be a scam. BRIDES SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE and GO ELSE WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Toast Bridal's reply:

Ashley provided measurements for some of her bridesmaids which were not taken by Toast Bridal and were ultimately incorrect. Had Ashley let us know that her bridesmaids' street clothing sizes were drastically different than the dress sizes the measurements she supplied indicated, we certainly would have suggested they be remeasured; unfortunately, there was no other way for us to know that the measurements she supplied were incorrect. The measurements provided were correctly matched to the size chart provided by the manufacturer. We regret that this unfortunate situation occurred with this bridal party and always recommend everyone local schedule an appointment to be professionally measured at Toast Bridal to avoid situations such as this. Those who are not local should be measured by a professional seamstress or tailor, preferably the same one who will be performing the alterations.
