Thanks so much for being a part of our day. Upon first meeting you, Alex and I knew we wanted to work with you. You are both so easy-going and professional that we just felt at ease with you. We had fun from the beginning to the end! You guys are a great team. Grant, you did a GREAT job with the ceremony-guests were asking about you all evening and commenting how great you were! Mel, it meant so much to us that you were able to join in our celebration.

I was introduced to Melanie by a friend of mine. My now husband and I met Melanie at a local coffee shop and from our "Hellos" we knew Melanie was the one that we wanted to share in our special day!

Melanie was there to help us make our ceremony exactly what we wanted. We spent numerous hours going over the wording, readings and flow of the ceremony. Melanie even helped Nick and I tweak our vows so they would be exactly who we are.

Melanie really got to know us and our interests. We were going to be doing a "sand ceremony" however when Melanie found out about our love for the outdoors she mentioned a "tree ceremony" where we could combine my parents and his parents soil from their houses to plant a tree at our home. We jumped at this because it had US written all over it!

Rehearsal night came and Melanie took charge so I wouldn't have to worry. She made sure everyone knew what they were to be doing and when. We even received a copy of our wedding ceremony to look back at when we wanted!

Wedding day - went without a hitch.... well at least with Melanie's help (helping even with last minute decorations!!) I was able to keep going with the flow. At the end of the day, I couldn't ask for any more because Melanie exceeded my expectations and I plan on telling everyone I know looking for an officiant to talk with Melanie!!

What can I say about Melanie, she was amazing. Melanie made the whole wedding party feel comfortable at the rehearsal, and got along great with the family. She was very quick to respond to my emails, and made the whole ceremony planning process completely stress-free for me. She was funny, sweet, and very good at what she does! I would recommend her any day!

Melanie was so easy to work with and made our ceremony everything we had hoped for. It was fun, personal and very 'us'. She was extremely professional and flexible and offered words of advice and tips for getting everything together along the way. I would recommend Melanie and Grant to friend and family in a heart beat!

It has been a week since our wedding, and I continue to gush over just how beautiful our ceremony was. From our first conversation last year, I knew this was the start of something magical. Sure, our wedding was going to be great (it was our wedding, after all), but I just got the sense that Melanie cared, and was going to make it beautiful. Over the next few months she took the time to learn to talk us through the process, and help us find readings that worked well with our personalities (she also found a musician PERFECT for the event). She talked to us and learned about us and our relationship, and our ceremony was better than I had even hoped for. It was personalized to the word and was, in essence, a 20 minute reflection of who we are and what our relationship means to us. Melanie's joy in working with us and performing the wedding was obvious to all in attendance, and several family members mentioned how much they enjoyed watching her work. Despite the stresses of planning a wedding - working with Melanie was not only easy and stress-free; it was a blast. I've watched the video of our wedding twice in the last week, and I cannot get over just how perfect it was, and I cannot overstate how important Melanie was in giving us exactly the day we'd dreamed of.

My husband and I did premarital counseling with Melanie. Since we live in Chicago, we made arrangements to do our sessions over Skype. Melanie was professional, warm and caring so we felt very comfortable opening up to her. I highly recommend doing premarital counseling and Melanie is a great choice. :)

Melanie was very helpful and outgoing. We loved working with her and she really did a wonderful job.
