  Responsive....and got it right!

  We asked Tammy to make a cake with a map of the USA with hearts over various cities that mean something to us and our relationship. She was very responsive to our emails, and we asked her to show up at the venue at a specific time (to accommodate the florist, etc.) and she came through! We were so delighted to see the cake when we entered the venue! Thanks Tammy!

  Lovely cake, lovely cake maker!

  We had a small last minute wedding on the Cape and needed something modest but memorable, in a pinch. Tammy totally delivered! What a beautiful and tasty cake! Thank you so much for making our special day a sweet day too. We all loved your delicious cake.

  Tammy made the cake exactly as I requested and it came out so beautiful our venue has it featured on their website. Both the vanilla and carrot cake were delicious- our guests ate more than one slice! Wish I had the top for our anniversary, but we ate the whole thing when we came back from our honeymoon it was so good :)

  Tammy made us a few different kinds of mini cupcakes as well as a sweetheart cake and everything was DELICIOUS and beautiful! There were so many cupcake flavors to choose from and each came with a special flourish like a raspberry topping the chocolate rasperry cupcake and an almond on the almond joy flavor. Tammy was very flexible and helpful and was able to talk us through some of our decisions since we live far away.
  
  Most of the cakes I saw on Tammy's website were beautifully polished styles with intricate designs. I wanted something that looked much more undone with wavy, un-polished buttercream frosting and greenery. I showed Tammy a few photos and she was able to make exactly what I wanted.
  
  Would definitely recommend!

  Tammy was so great to work with. We ordered turtle cheesecake (chocolate cake with caramel, chocolate chips and pecans in the middle) with butter cream frosting and it was so delicious! I would definitely recommend her.

  The Scratch Cake has by far and away the best tasting cakes ever! My husband and I worked with Tammy for our wedding cake and were simply blown away by her professionalism and talent. She is a breeze to work with and her selection of flavors is unsurpassed (it was difficult to choose just 2!). Our guests continue to rave about our delicious wedding cake. We cannot wait for our first anniversary to have some more! Thank you Tammy for making our big day so special (and delicious!).

  Tammy is a true artist and amazing baker. We had 3 kinds of cupcakes and a small wedding cake. Every flavor was so yummy. Her strawberry shortcake is no joke - she puts in fresh strawberries with a whipped cream frosting. To die for! She is a pleasure to do business with and pays very close attention to detail. It's rare to find a baker who can nail both taste and decor, but she absolutely does!

Her samples were awesome and a very accurate representation of the real deal (both in artistic detailing and taste). Tammy is very detail-oriented--she took notes at our meeting, and the day of the wedding it was actually Tammy setting up the cake table, not an assistant. The design was exactly what we described and it was a huge hit. Tammy went above and beyond for us, and we were so thankful we found her! And her carrot cake is the best!

We had both cupcakes and a cake and I switched the style of the cake pretty close to the wedding and she was great with going with the new change. Everyone is still talking about the cupcakes, they were delicious. The cupcake tower and cake were also visually beautiful. Tammy is awesome and I highly recommend The Scratch Cake!

  Tammy is no ordinary baker, she is truly gifted! Our red velvet cake with buttercream frosting was so delicious and perfectly fluffy with smooth frosting that our guests have raved about it! Tammy was incredibly accommodating and fun to meet with for our tasting where she provided several samples for us to try. It was not an easy decision to make because her creations and combinations were all so delicious. When it came to decorating the cake, our simple request of pearls and ribbon to match the bridesmaids was met with ease and total perfection. Tammy was a dream to work with and we look so forward to having our top on our 1 year anniversary. And now that we are back from the honeymoon, we get to enjoy our adorable bride and groom cupcakes that she provided as a sweet surprise. We love you Tammy and thank you for everything!!
