The Riverhouse was beautiful but the staff was immaculate. We had support right from the beginning with clarity around pricing, process, and availability. In the time leading up to the wedding, we had open communication not only about payments but every single detail you can imagine. As a type A organized person myself, they thought of everything and truly carried the team. We dropped off all decor prior to the event; they organized everything, arranged/setup everything prior to our arrival on the wedding day, and made sure it all looked perfect. We did not worry about a thing on the day of as our day of coordinator was the best human possible; handled everything, communicated efficiently, and adapted to changes as they happened when things were out of our control, all while also being a support and biggest hype woman you can ask for. The Riverhouse and their staff are like the grand finale of a surprise party that turned into a conga line, with unlimited queso and margs. They are the human equivalent of finding $20 in your jeans pocket while staying at an all-inclusive resort that serves endless triple fudge chocolate cake, all while not using any of your personal PTO hours. Everyone should get married like this! -

Where do I begin with this incredible venue? They truly made all of our dreams come true. They made the entire process so easy, everyone was so kind, and they all truly cared about making our night as magical as possible. We had a Christmas themed wedding (hence being in December) with a hint of Disney. At our final meeting, Rob was so attentive to what we were asking for in regards to decorations. He truly smashed it out of the park.
The night of our wedding was unforgettable. All of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was, how amazing the food was, and something so important to me was how careful they were with food allergies/sensitivities.
If you are looking to get married somewhere where they make you feel like family you are looking at the right place. It was sad driving away after we picked up all of our bins from the wedding. Kelley, Hattie, Rob, and Loretta are just 4 of the amazing people we had the honor of working with. We can't thank them enough. -

My husband and I checked out many venues when planning our wedding, but we fell in love with the Riverhouse right away. The venue was beautiful and recently renovated. With it's extended balconies and views, and it's location on the Connecticut river, it had perfect spots for photos.
We had a vision for a garden library themed brunch for our special day. There wasn't a standard wedding brunch menu, so Hattie and the chef worked closely with us to customize a package that was beyond our expectations. We also had several allergies and dietary restrictions which affected about a third of our guests, including several of our immediate family members, and I was worried about being able to accommodate all of them. As the bride, it meant a great deal to me that our guests with allergies would have enough to eat and that they would have options available to them that were as diverse and delicious as any other guest. The Riverhouse more than delivered. And unlike every other venue that we visited, when I asked what was frozen on the menu, I was told that the chef makes everything fresh. We were wowed by his skill when we attended the tasting with our families, and the same exceptional quality was appreciated unanimously by our guests the day of the wedding.
Throughout the planning process, the entire staff was reasonable and transparent, honest, pleasant, and incredibly helpful. Hattie and Holly kept in touch with us in the months leading up to the big day to make sure that we were on track and had everything that we needed. They really went above and beyond to create our vision.
When we arrived for our final details meeting, Holly met us and took the time to get to know us, and really listened as we described our setup. I had done multiple DIY projects to add personal touches and had a bit of a unique plan for our guest table and setup. Since our ceremony was in the morning, I knew we wouldn't have time to setup or check things ahead of the reception, which made me a little nervous. But when we arrived at the Riverhouse after our ceremony the tables and venue were set up perfectly. Every detail was thought of, and Holly even saved the day by catching a few details that I had missed in my DIY planning which could have turned into big problems if she hadn't caught them. There were even munchies waiting in the bridal suite for me and my girls. We could not have been in better hands.
Loretta was our bridal attendant during the reception, and was amazing at keeping things moving and on track. My mom broke her leg a few weeks before the wedding and due to her limited range of motion, my husband and I decided to take our family photos at the Riverhouse, although we knew that trying to take photos with guests arriving presented some potential challenges. The staff worked with our photographer to keep our guests moving to the balcony for cocktail hour so that we could get our photos done. During the meal, Loretta helped my husband and I get our courses quickly, so we were able to enjoy each course, and still had enough time to travel to each table for pictures.
The food was delicious- from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees and dessert. We also loved that we had the option of a plated dinner instead of a buffet without an upcharge, which was something we had encountered at other venues. At the end of the reception, while we were being pulled in a million directions for goodbyes and last minute pictures by friends and family, the staff quietly packed up all of our decorations and personal items back into the bins we brought them in, and had them ready at the door to load into the cars. Every detail- from the venue, to the menu, to the staff, to the signature drinks, setup and cleanup, and the flow of the day- went off without a hitch thanks to the warm professionalism of the Riverhouse staff. Our guests loved the wedding and everyone complimented the day. Several guests told us that they felt like they were in a fairytale. In fact, we still get compliments on the venue and food. By the time we arrived at the day of the wedding, Hattie, the chef, Holly, Loretta, and everyone there who worked so hard to make our vision a reality felt like friends. We couldn't be more grateful for everything that they did, or for the way that we were able to kick off our happily ever after because of them. -

We celebrated our big wedding at Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station on 10.23.25, and it was truly the most beautiful wedding we’ve ever been to and it was our own. 💓
From the very beginning, we knew this was the perfect place for us. Riverhouse was the first and only venue we toured, and the moment we walked in, we immediately said, “This is the one.” One of the biggest things we loved was that they only host one wedding per day and that was a huge plus for us. It made the entire experience feel personal, unhurried, and completely ours.
The staff was warm, professional, and so attentive, we loved our wedding attendant, Robert. We made a special request for the chef to prepare Filipino lumpia for our guests, and not only did they say yes, but it was absolutely delicious, our Filipino family and friends loved it! 💕
Communication was exceptional from start to finish. Kelley was amazing to work with, incredibly responsive, patient, and kind. No matter how many questions we had or how many decor changes I made along the way, she never hesitated to help. Everything was handled with so much care.
The organization, the service, the food, the atmosphere, every single detail was perfect. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how seamless the entire day felt.
We are truly thankful to the entire Riverhouse team for giving us a wedding day we will cherish forever. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough to any couple looking for a stress-free, elegant, and unforgettable celebration. 💓

Our October 2025 wedding at The Riverhouse was nothing short of perfect. We truly couldn’t have asked for more from a wedding venue. The entire team at The Riverhouse was extremely helpful, informative, accommodating and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process from our initial tour to our wedding and everything in between. The package The Riverhouse offers is unbeatable with everything included and no extra hidden fees. The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is incredible and the staff is top notch. Our guests have continuously raved about the venue, food & staff since the wedding. Huge shoutout to Kelley who helped us throughout the entire planning process and details as well as Rob & Loretta who were our day of coordinators and made sure everything was running smoothly and we had everything we needed throughout the entire wedding day. We will forever recommend The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station to everyone we know looking for a wedding venue. -

I first found the Riverhouse searching on Zola. My husband and I spoke with Holly for our initial appointment. Holly had light music playing over the speakers when we arrived, and when I walked into the ballroom and onto the dance floor, I looked at my now husband and said, “This is it, I hope they have a date in 2025 available”.
The planning process with Kelley and the team was wonderful! The worksheets that are provided make planning easy and outline all the tasks clearly. We attended their vendor show which helped us determine exactly what we were looking for in our vendors to design our perfect wedding day. Our detail meeting about a month before our wedding day was smooth and we easily made all our banquet choices. A week before our wedding, we met with Holly to ensure our day of timeline was exactly how we wanted it – she totally nailed it day of!
We have been to many weddings, and we believed that food was one of the most important parts of our day. We were blown away by the quality (and quantity!) of food at the Riverhouse. At our tasting, my husband and I ranked the appetizer, salad and dinner choices. The rankings were so high, we had trouble narrowing it down! It’s been about 3 weeks, and our guests are still complementing our food and saying how beautiful the venue was. The mac and cheese bar has been a HUGE hit with our guests.
On our wedding day, Holly and Loretta kept everything smooth and seamless and both ladies provided a calming atmosphere when things started to feel chaotic (shout out to Loretta for grabbing me tums!). It truly seemed as if all the staff at the Riverhouse enjoyed our wedding event as much as our guests did! The food service was outstanding and went right along with our timeline, our bartenders were flawless, and we totally spied a little bit of dancing going on to our music and we were absolutely overjoyed!
We would like to thank everyone at the Riverhouse for making our day amazing! We hope to see you all again sometime soon! -

The Riverhouse was absolutely perfect! We got married at the end of September and the venue totally exceeded our expectations. From the very first interactions with Jim, Hattie, Kelley we knew it was where we wanted to celebrate our day. We were planning from out of state, and between every phone call or email the team was quick, attentive and beyond helpful for our many questions. The venue alone speaks for itself, it is absolutely beautiful. Having grown up right down the road, I knew it was the perfect place to host our family and friends to show them a glimpse of beautiful New England and the charm it holds being on the river. The day of coordinator, Holly, was so great and truly made the day a breeze so we were able to enjoy every second. Our guests absolutely raved about the food! Our only regret was not taking any time to try the hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour… but the following day we found out they even sent us home with a tray of them so we ended up getting to try them! Everything about this venue is top notch, it is hospitality at its finest. You will feel so special and a sense of ease having your wedding at The Riverhouse! We will be singing Riverhouse praises to all who will listen! We are so beyond happy with how our day went and cannot believe how smooth it was! A gorgeous fall day with the leaves and the river in the background made the onsite photos gorgeous. Just a short drive away, we were able to have our first look at Gillette Castle which was breathtaking.
The staff on the day were incredible and went out of their way at every step. Our attendant, made sure we always had fresh drinks, even if we had only taken a sip. She was always ready to help, while still giving us privacy to enjoy our reception. The Banquet manager was nothing but professional and experienced. He executed each element, making us feel in the know and involved, but not responsible for the follow through.
We feel so blessed to have had such an easy planning process, especially given we only planned for 7 months! The Riverhouse team helped make this possible and give us a dream wedding. -

Booking the Riverhouse was the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. From the very first tour, we felt appreciated, celebrated, and special. We couldn’t wait to book. Hattie, Kelley, and Lauren were a dream to work with. Any email did not go unanswered and their responses were timely. They not only took care of us but our families and guests. They allowed us to bring one of our family members who is autistic to see the venue before the wedding to ensure her comfort and ease her anxiety. We can’t thank them enough for their understanding. Rob was incredible during our rehearsal and wedding day. His attentiveness and professionalism was admired by us and our guests. Rob did not hesitate to make sure we or our families had whatever they needed. Loretta, our bridal attendant, went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our day. The Riverhouse at Goodspeed was simply amazing for our June 2025 wedding. From the moment we signed the contract until we left at the end of the night- they truly made everything painless and easy to navigate.
We wanted a venue that would take care of most of the details but still allow our own personal touches and we were provided just that. The attention to detail…. They made the day run extremely smooth. I was the happiest bride. Special shout out to Loretta for being an amazing bridal attendant. Rob was also an amazing coordinator!!! And of course, Hattie, Kellie and the rest of the team who made the day amazing.

We got married at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station on 9/21/24 and it was by far the best day ever all thanks to the Riverhouse. The Riverhouse is a gorgeous venue with the most stunning ballroom and patio for the ceremony. Not only is the venue spectacular, but the staff is even better. From our first tour with Hattie, we knew immediately this was the venue for us. Throughout the whole planning process, Kelley, Lauren, and Hattie made everything so smooth and we always felt like we were in such good hands. The night of our wedding, Rob and Loretta made the night flow effortlessley and constantly were checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff truly goes above and beyond for their couples.
We also received sooooo many amazing reviews on the food and service as well. From cocktail hour, to dinner service, to bar service, everything was presented and tasted amazing. Overall, so incredibly happy with our choice to have our wedding at The Riverhouse. I cannot imagine having had it anywhere else. I could not recommend this venus enough!!!! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we arrived at The Riverhouse we knew it was the venue for us. The picturesque setting provided the ideal backdrop for our special day and it was ideal for our larger sized wedding.
A huge shout out to the staff—they were absolutely amazing! From the first meeting you can see how dedicated and detail oriented the Riverhouse staff is. Every detail was taken care of with such professionalism and warmth. They handled all the internal details, from linens to food and beverage, with impressive efficiency. Their flexibility made all the difference; they even accommodated our last-minute requests, ensuring everything went smoothly. We felt supported and at ease throughout the entire process. I can honestly say on my wedding day I did not have to worry about one single thing while at the Riverhouse as their day of staff were stars.
The ambiance, service, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still raving about how stunning the venue was and how delicious all the food was! Our perfect day
If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue look no further! Not only is the Riverhouse beautiful, the staff is top tier! My husband and I looked at a few venues before The Riverhouse, and what stood out to us was how invested the staff with us as well as accommodating to our every need from day one. We met with Jim who was lovely and picked our date of 6/29/24. Kelley, Hattie, and Lauren were so sweet and professional with answering multiple emails and also helping with timelines for the day of. Any question we had they would answer in a timely manner. Our wedding day was flawless from start to finish! The staff makes sure you bring day of items to the venue before your big day, which was super helpful for us! They also made sure we had eaten and had a drink in our hand the whole night! Rob and Holly were our day of coordinators and also were amazing! The bridal suite and grooms room were set up with hors d oeuvres and drinks for our bridal party. The bridal suite overlooks the lobby which was something I loved! We are still getting compliments on the food and presentation of everything! I also recommend adding a cappuccino and espresso bar that they offer. It was a perfect touch for the end of the night! My husband and I didn't want the night to end! Riverhouse thank you so much for everything you did :) We cannot thank you enough! -

The chef curated a menu that delighted our taste buds, and the bar staff crafted our signature & regular cocktails that were a hit among our guests. The quality and variety surpassed our expectations and I wish we could go back for dinner every week!

The most beautiful day at the most beautiful venue!
We got married at The Riverhouse on 10/7/23 and would get married there 100 more times! From our first tour through our wedding day - the entire process was a breeze while working with the RH staff. It was a beautiful, perfect day despite some rain showers. Thank you, Kelley, for always responding so quickly to my many panicked emails and answering my million questions. Thank you, Holly, for being such a calming presence as our wedding day coordinator. You truly put me at ease the entire day - I was not once worried about something going wrong. Thank you, Loretta, for being such a great bridal attendant. From greeting us upon arrival to packing up our leftovers - you were beyond expectations! The food was plentiful and amazing. The BEST venue with the BEST staff we could have ever asked for. Not only was everything beautiful but they made sure our day was as perfect as possible. I always wanted somewhere we could at least have pictures by the water- it ended up being perfect for our first look without the price of waterfront. We loved how much was included in the package instead of feeling like everything was an “add on” like other venues we saw. Lauren & Kelley were so helpful and accommodating in the planning process. Loretta was so sweet and a calming presence as our helpful bridal attendant. Rob deserves so much credit for everything running so seamlessly- multiple people commented on how great he was keeping everything in order running around to meet all our needs. Food was amazing too! Hands down would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We are eternally grateful for this place and for all the wonderful staff for the perfect day! -

From the moment we stepped into the venue for the tour with Jim, working with The Riverhouse was a masterclass in how to host a wedding. We had only heard exceptional feedback about them. Nothing negative. Believe me, I looked hard to find it, too. That’s why we chose them. Now we see why. They made us feel important and comfortable every step of the way. Kelley, Hattie, Matt, and Katie were professional, responsive, and fun, and ensured we made the rounds and still had time to eat. Our attendants, Rob and Maria, made us feel like rock stars. The service and food were amazing, our guests are still raving about the hors d'oeuvres and the portion sizes at dinner. Not your typical wedding where everyone goes home hungry! We loved the food so much that we packed our leftovers up to take home. Overall, we’d say The Riverhouse venue and staff were EXCEPTIONAL!! and would highly recommend them for any occasion, especially a wedding. -

Where do I begin? From our first tour of the Riverhouse to picking up our reception items after our wedding, from top to bottom we had the best experience working with the Riverhouse. I have NOTHING but positive things to say about all aspects of our wedding and would wholeheartedly recommend them. Everybody who we worked with was professional, extremely responsive and put us at ease every step of the way. The venue itself is beautiful, the scenery if beautiful, the food is delicious and plentiful...I could go on and on! They accommodate special requests without batting an eye. We love the Riverhouse!
The staff at the Riverhouse are out of this world. From the very beginning of the process, Hattie and Kelley were amazing - they responded to every email and silly question within the same day and always let me know if they needed something from me to keep us on track. They worked so hard to accommodate every request and always went above and beyond. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we had our details meeting with Linda. She was fantastic. She took such good care of us and assured that we would have everything just the way we wanted it. On the morning of the wedding, it was a little snowy so they allowed us to go to the venue earlier than anticipated to take photos on the deck. They also worked with us to decide if we should have our ceremony outside or not. They were even so kind to shovel everything in case we decided we wanted it outside - they were just so good to us. We can't thank them enough. Michelle was our bridal attendant and she made us (including our parents) feel so cared for. She was there with what we needed before we even knew we needed it. She was lovely. The food was outstanding - the portions were large and the food was delicious - our guests are still talking about it. We cannot thank the Rivehouse enough - they made our wedding dreams come true. We will always be so thankful for all that they did for us and for the memories they helped us create. We love you all! Our wedding was truly the most perfect day and we owe it all to the staff at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station! The Riverhouse is a beautiful venue and provides many great locations for photos! Aside from how beautiful the venue is the staff is truly amazing! When I met Hattie and Kelley they both are so nice and welcoming that I felt like I was at home. I knew that they would be there to help us the whole way and they definitely were as we’ve been planning over the past two years! I had so many questions that they promptly answered. They gave helpful and honest feedback which I truly appreciated! My dream was to have a ceremony by the water and they made that come true by having it down by the river. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect! We can't say thank you enough for making our dream come true! We are still receiving compliments as to how great the food was, how beautiful the venue was and how much fun everyone had! For our Hors D'oeuvres we had Arancini, Korean Short Rib Dumpling, Pineapple Glazed Chicken, Mac and Cheese with Lobster, Crispy Quinoa Slider, Blackened Shrimp and Penne Bolognese pasta during cocktail hour. All were amazing! Our meal options were Grilled Filet Mignon, Cajun Seared Swordfish and Stuffed Breast of Chicken. Which everyone loved their meals! We have had multiple people say it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding they've attended!! Hearing all these compliments meant so much to us! We also had the pleasure of working with Julie and Linda. We met them a couple days before the wedding and went over our decorations and vision for the day of the wedding. They truly made our vision come to life. It was more beautiful than we could have ever expected!! They made the day so perfect! We can never say thank you enough for all of their hard work setting up all of our decorations and making the day run so smooth!! You always hear that something will go wrong at a wedding. I can honestly say there is nothing we know of that went wrong! Our day ran so perfect and smooth! Thank you ladies!! We had Michelle for our Bridal Attendant and she is just absolutely amazing at what she does! She is exactly what every bride needs on their wedding day! She is so kind and helpful! She was one step ahead of us the whole day and had anything we needed right on her! She is just amazing!!! Our wedding was so perfect it could not have been any better! We are still on cloud nine and wanting to do it all over again! Thank you everyone again!!! -

My husband and I got married at the Riverhouse on July 26. From our first tour, we knew the Riverhouse was the place we wanted to get married. Hattie and Kelley were absolutely incredible from day one and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. They both replied to every email very quickly. Hattie helped me with so many things I hadn’t even thought about! The Riverhouse is very accommodating and their staff were incredible the day of our wedding. Linda, our coordinator, did an outstanding job with every detail and bringing our vision to life. There was a car accident that delayed my bridal party and guests- but Linda truly helped keep everything on track so we did not lose precious moments. Our guests RAVED about all of the food! I have truly been in a depression now that the wedding is over because it was such an amazing day and I’m sad to not be working with the Riverhouse anymore! -

The Riverhouse was the best choice we made during the wedding planning process. Since we live in Las Vegas, we had to plan our wedding across the country and because of that we were unable to tour venues ourselves. My fiancé and I sent our moms to the Riverhouse to go check it out and facetime us. The riverhouse was closed that day for a private party but our moms explained the situation and the Riverhouse graciously let them in and gave them a tour. They had seen a few different venues at this point but when they left Riverhouse they told us this was the one. So without even seeing it myself we booked it. The Riverhouse was so responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process. Hattie and Kelley answered every email and phone call and really guided us through the entire process which was so easy because they have it down to a science. The few weeks leading up to the wedding they answered every email so quickly and made all adjustments that I requested. Week of the wedding we met Linda who organized the entire wedding day as the day of coordinator and she was amazing. She executed all my thoughts and ideas and I didn’t have to worry about anything. I was blown away when I saw the venue that day. The Riverhouse staff did such a great job and I know this was the best choice I made. Michelle the bridal attendant was SO good too. She did everything from making sure we had drinks all night to fixing the bustle on my dress.
The food was phenomenal. Everything from the apps to the salad to pasta to dinner. Best wedding food we’ve ever tasted. All of our guests told us the food was amazing and they actually ate everything because it was so good. They also accommodated for gluten free so well!! I highly recommend the espresso bar and seafood bar! They were huge hits at our wedding.
I was so nervous I made the right decision since I couldn’t see the venue myself but I can confidently say this was the best decision. The Riverhouse was everything I could have wanted and more. They take such good care of you, they listen to you, the food is amazing, they help make all your design ideas come to life, and the whole staff was so friendly.

We cannot say enough good things about The Riverhouse!! Hattie & Kelley, the sales staff, were absolutely amazing. From the day we toured to the night before our wedding, they answered every crazy question I had and were super helpful with suggestions. The banquet staff the day of our wedding was just as amazing. Michelle, our bridal attendant, made sure our drinks were never empty and our food didn't sit on our table getting cold while we were talking to guests. Our parents and bridal party were treated like royalty. Linda, the banquet manager, was also exceptional making sure everything was running smooth and taken care of. Our guests are still raving about the food and how they want more! The entire venue is fantastic - it's beautiful enough by itself but it's also versatile so you can bring in your own style and it will all come together. If you're looking to feel stress-free during your wedding planning and the day of, book The Riverhouse!! -

The Riverhouse exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding, it is an amazing venue!! Kelley and Hattie were so incredibly great to work with during the planning process, because of them, the planning process was stress-free! They were so attentive to answering any questions we had, and always answered back in a timely manner! Also, they are so incredibly friendly, it makes you feel like you have known them for years!! They made our vision we had for our wedding come true! The day of the wedding, our bridal attendant, Michele, was nothing short of amazing!!! She was so incredibly attentive and made sure through the entire night that we, along with our parents, had everything we needed. My father even made several comments on how awesome and attentive Michele was, along with the rest of the staff! Anything we needed that night, they were right there to make sure we had it. We were able to do cocktail hour outside on the patio, and the staff were so great on passing the apps around both inside and outside were the guests were. I am so glad our guests were able to enjoy the wonderful view from the outside patio/deck. We had a large wedding, 240 guests, and we received many compliments on how wonderful the food was from the apps, to the pasta, to the main course! If I could do my wedding all over again at the Riverhouse, I certainly would and I wouldn’t change a thing! Don’t waste your time looking at other wedding venues, pick the Riverhouse, you will not be disappointed!!!! -

The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station was the best decision I could have made about my wedding! I had planned our wedding from California, and right from the start Hattie and her staff made it easy. Hattie contacted me and suggested a FaceTime appointment, where she showed me the venue and talked me through the options that the Riverhouse offered. As the time got closer, Kelley took over, but she was just as resourceful and calming as Hattie. They made me feel as if I was the only bride that they had on the books!
Aside from the excellent staff (and I can't forget to mention Linda, the day of coordinator, and Michele, our server for the night!), let's talk about the food. It was UH-MAZING. All of our guests loved everything that they had to offer, especially the hors d'oeuvres. When you book with the Riverhouse, you must have the lobster mac n' cheese!
Overall, if I had to do my wedding all over again, I would pick the Riverhouse again and again. They made the experience so easy, even from a distance, and I cannot say enough good things about the Riverhouse and their staff! -

To say that the day was perfect is an understatement. From the minute we decided to go with the Riverhouse, all the way until we left the venue on our wedding night, we had the best experience ever. The staff went above and beyond! I wrote sooo many emails with questions of all sizes, and every single one was answered so quickly, calming my nerves. Hattie, Sarah, and Kelley helped to make our wedding exactly what we had wanted.
During our wedding day, Sarah was there to be sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone was so prepared! We also worked with Michele, who took such great care of my family and bridal party! From having a celebration cocktail ready, to bustling my dress, she was right there!
Every person I have talked to has gushed about how perfect the day was. The venue was beautiful and we lacked nothing! This was by far the best decision we made and we wish we could do it all again this weekend!! -

Everyone at the riverhouse went above and beyond for our wedding and every day prior. From accommodating my family to visit before booking, quick responses to emails and phone calls and even adding personal condolences when I lost my father. Their food is outstanding especially the mashed potatoes. There is something for everyone on the menu. And they really made sure I was taken care of the day of with my own attendant. The fact that they provided the bar, cock tail hour, and the cake in their price made planning much less stressful. -

While searching for venues The Riverhouse was the last location we visited. Upon walking through the doors we instantly knew this was where we wanted to hold our wedding. The location was stunning and every employee we interacted with was just a pleasure. Our planning process couldn’t have gone any smoother with the help of Kelley. She was so organized and answered every question we had quickly! We also owe a lot of the success of our wedding night to Sarah (our event coordinator) and Michele (our bridal attendant). They were both so attentive and made sure we and our families had everything we needed as well as helped keep the night running smoothly and on track. You can’t get anyone better than these two!
In addition to the great service, the food and beverages were outstanding! We continue to receive compliments on the food and it was truly our guests favorite part of the evening.

Kelley, Hattie, and Sarah were absolutely amazing and made everything from the planning onward go so smoothly. I kept making last minute changes and they were so accommodating and clearly wanted to make my wedding perfect. During the ceremony and reception I was catered to from start to finish as were my guests. The food was amazing and people wouldn't stop raving about it. Working with an experienced venue was so helpful because they helped us think of details that we wouldn't have considered on our own. We loved that the communication was constant, we always knew what we had to do and what they were doing, and it was great having someone else take care of the setup and take down of everything. We were well taken care of on our actual wedding day - they thought of all the little details to make the day special - and wouldn't have changed anything about our experience!

Gina Sent on 07/09/2018My husband and I had our reception at the Riverhouse on June 30, 2018. I can honestly say that the Riverhouse puts together a beautiful wedding. They were responsive; answering any questions I had and responding to my concerns with solutions that were practical. They were so flexible when it came to decorating and adding in small touches that made us feel so special on our big day. The management and banquet coordinators were on top of everything! We knew when payments were due, what paperwork was expected and by when, and appointments were thorough and meaningful. They were always double and triple checking our decisions to make sure that we had the most amazing day possible. The wait staff was BEYOND exceptional. They were always making sure that my husband and I, and our families, were taken care of while also being attentive to our guests. The atmosphere is nothing short of spectacular. Being in the beautiful venue, knowing that it is yours for the night, is so relaxing and really puts the emphasis on you and your significant other. The deck, the way they decorated the ballroom and cocktail hour were all ON POINT with the vision I had in my head. Pictures in the venue, at the state park down the street, and on the gorgeous new dance floor came out spectacular. We chose to do a stations style dinner; it was phenomenal. Everyone LOVED the variety of food, how everything that was meant to be hot was still hot, and what was meant to be chilled, was. The espresso table was a hit and their flexibility in allowing us to bring in Italian cookies as our wedding favor was superb. The open bar was a hit as well! Everyone loved the bar tenders and the quality and quickness of the drinks. The cocktail horderves were loved by all of our guests; there was something for everyone! I could go on forever; bottom line: amazing venue with a staff that created the wedding of our dreams!

If something off did happen that night , my husband and I weren’t aware because the riverhouse team had everything handled behind the scenes . The venue is perfect and is in a beautiful location with great views. The food is outstanding and many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food that they've ever had. Most of all, the staff was truly fantastic. We live in New Jersey and I was worried about planning a wedding out of state, however the Riverhouse made the planning process seamless and our wedding went off without a hitch. Hattie and Kelley were so helpful and thorough during the planning that I never had to worry about a thing. They were always quick to respond and made sure all our ideas and visions were part of our big day. We are also grateful to Mary and Michelle who were both accommodating to us and our parents the night of our wedding. We highly recommend the Riverhouse to all couples looking for a unique and exceptional venue. I wish we could re-live our wedding day there over and over again!
