My wedding day makeup brought me to TEARS

I had my makeup done by Tamie Konzier at two weddings before my own – once for my sister-in-law’s wedding and the second time for my sister’s wedding. They were always my favorite makeup jobs and no one ever came close to doing as good of a job. But on my wedding day, Tamie crushed it and did SUCH an amazing job that I started to cry immediately upon looking at myself in the mirror. Her ability to do makeup literally BROUGHT ME TO TEARS. I have never felt more beautiful, and I seriously cannot recommend her enough. She is the best in the business.

On top of being an amazing makeup artist, Tamie is so responsive, organized, and fun! You will feel comfortable and cared about during the entire process with her. We loved having her there on the day and I would not waste your time booking anyone else.

Wedding Makeup Genius!!

The easiest and most stress-free part of my wedding planning process was booking Tamie as my makeup artist! Based on all her amazing transformations on insta, I knew she was super talented and I had to book her! Tamie made me feel so confident and beautiful on my wedding day and my bridesmaids still talk about how awesome their makeup looked too! You will not regret putting your trust in Tamie. You can tell her exactly what you want or just let her work her magic with her own vision and it'll be a masterpiece either way! My makeup was extremely high quality and it lasted my entire ceremony and reception!--I was thrilled that I didn't have to worry about touching up my makeup all night! I can't believe how incredible I looked!!

Tamie did my makeup for my wedding, along with the makeup for all of my bridesmaids and my mom. She did an amazing job! My makeup looked absolutely incredible, and did not move the entire night, even though I was dancing and sweating. She did a fantastic job on all my bridesmaids and my mother looked ten years younger! She listens to exactly what you want done, and she goes out of her way to make sure everyone looks amazing. I was so lucky to have her be apart of my wedding day. Tamie is absolutely incredible and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist.

One fab makeup artist!

I dont even know where to start with Tamie, shes FANTASTIC! I cannot say enough great things about her patience, flexibility, cost, great work and overall just fun personality! She was so flexible on meeting myself and my mother for trails. She then came to my house to do myself and 7 others for makeup, all on her own and she KILLED IT! The girls looked fabulous. They gave her an idea of what they wanted and she made it come to life. Makeup can be a very stressful part of the planning process but not if you're working with her. I felt beautiful! Thank you so much, Tamie. You're such a sweetheart- I would recommend her to all!

Fantastic to work with!

My make-up on my wedding day looking absolutely fantastic thanks to Tamie! I rarely wear make-up so I was nervous to see what I looked like all done up. I asked Tamie for a natural look, specifically I wanted to look like "myself but polished", and she did this perfectly! I got so many comments throughout the day on how great my make-up looked, and my bridesmaids looked stunning as well.

Not only was her work beautiful, but she accommodated myself and my bridal party last minute after I had a vendor cancel, and she was easy to work with. I cannot thank (or recommend) her enough!

Simply Wonderful

Tamie was absolutely amazing as my makeup stylist! Her assistant, Lisa was just as wonderful, as well. Tamie made me feel so comfortable and calm during my trial, which was especially helpful when it came to the wedding day. She is extremely professional and just a lovely person to be around. Would highly recommend!

Tamie, thank you!

Highly recommend! I found Tamie through both wedding wire and the knot, after searching through a ton of artists. During my trial with Tamie, she took my vision for my wedding day look and actually made it a reality. I cannot put into words how gorgeous I felt, after my trial and on my wedding day. As part of my gift to my girls, Tamie did the glam also for my 4 bridesmaids and 2 mothers. Seeing how special each one of them felt, I can’t put into words my appreciation to Tamie. She was so professional and responsive with any questions.

The most perfect shimmery eye

No doubt about it, Tamie is the BEST makeup artist both I and my bridesmaids have ever experienced! She was so open to whatever we wanted while complimenting our best features! One of my bridesmaids is obsessed with make up and could not stop talking about how impressed she was with Tamie! I originally found Tamie from my coworker, as she just recently used her for her wedding. From the very beginning, she was available whenever I needed her, even with her growing family!! I had guests coming up to me at the wedding and complimenting me on my make up, especially my shimmery eye ;) She is so incredibly talented. One of her best qualities is how genuine she is. I’m a rather nervous person so on the morning of my wedding, I was having a full on panic attack. Tamie was so wonderful and attempted to help me in any way she could. She truly cares for her clients and I cannot thank her enough for everything!! If you’re looking for something dramatic or very natural, Tamie is the one to go with. SO thankful I chose her for my big day!!

Tamie is so fantastic, I would highly recommend her to any bride that needs a makeup artist for your wedding! She did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and also did my makeup for my own wedding. She is super down to earth and fun to be around! She made the day so much fun and not stressful at all. She did six girls makeup all by herself and even finished before originally scheduled on the morning of my wedding. She drove out to the hotel we were getting ready at, which was super helpful as well! Her prices are extremely reasonable for the quality work that she does. It was 85 degrees and humid the day of my wedding with no AC in the venue, and all of our makeup stayed put and we looked fantastic the whole night! I can’t say enough good things about Tamie!

I was referred to Tamie (thank God) after a disastrous trial run w someone. Tamie is amazing!! I'm super picky when it comes to makeup application as I can do it pretty good but want that UMPF! She is super talented mastering foundation application and perfecting eyes etc. And doing it professionally in record time. Can't wait for the big day!

Tammy was great to work with. None of the bridal party had any problems with her. We all looked fantastic at the wedding. I have already recommended her to two of my friends whose daughters are getting married next year.

I booked with The Pittsburgh Stylist a couple months prior to my wedding due to her having an opening! I was so happy because I had previously booked with another artist in which did not have a contract nor great personal skills lol. I contacted Tammy and instantly felt comfortable with her, she sent over a contract and it was very detailed- I knew I wouldn't be left the day of the wedding without a make up artist. I had my trial a couple days prior to the wedding, I was in love! The day of the wedding she showed up on time, although I was late! She did 3 people in the party including me and we were all so pleased with how our make up turned out and lasted all night!! Tammy listens to what you want and sees your vision. I looked so natural but yet so glamourous at the same time and the make up photographed so nice ! Brides- if your looking for an awesome make up artist, please book The Pittsburgh Stylist -- you WILL not regret it!

Tamie is very personable and makes you feel like you've known her for years! The trial is definitely worth it! All of my girls looks absolutely stunning! And I was so happy with my makeup, it was perfect! Tamie helps make the morning go smoothly, and also provides final touch ups for everyone before we left for the wedding! Tamie was amazing!!!! Trial went great and so did the wedding day. I had her do makeup for my entire wedding party which included 3 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and myself. Everyone loved their makeup. Both mothers don't usually wear a lot of makeup and were nervous but ended up absolutely loving what she did. She does exactly what you want and does not cake on makeup. You won't be disappointed if you hire the Pittsburgh Stylist !!

Book Tamie ASAP! I luckily was referred to Tamie after my contract with another make-up artist fell through. Tamie was contracted to do makeup for 9 people and a flower girl. She did it all by herself, everyone LOVED their makeup, it was done perfectly and stayed on ALL DAY LONG. I was still receiving complements at the end of our reception that my makeup looked great. The pricing was great too! She was very professional and fast with questions and answers leading up to my trial and wedding. She always made me feel at ease and it was a true pleasure working with her. Do not hesitate at all to book her up ASAP!

I booked Tamie after four of my friends recommended her. They were very happy with her work and so was I! Her work is great, my makeup was beautiful for my wedding day. I had both a traditional and an airbrush trial and they were both gorgeous. I ended up going with traditional, but would have been happy with either. Very professional and accommodating. Highly recommend.

I had booked a different makeup artist for my wedding, but in the end, decided she was not the right one for me. I don't live in Pittsburgh, so I emailed Tamie the day before I left town, she accommodated me to fit in a trial at her home before I left. Almost instantly I realized we both meshed and she was the one! She was very professional on my wedding day. She arrived on time ready to go! All of my girls loved what she did. As for me, I felt very beautiful and natural! I would recommend Tamie to any bride. Plus, she was very reasonably priced!

Simply amazing!! I had my trial with Tamie almost a year before my wedding and I booked her on the spot. It was hands down one of the best decisions I made!! My makeup was flawless. I got SO many compliments and I could not have been any happier with it. It stayed perfectly in place all night, and even into the wee hours of the next morning. Tamie, the Pittsburgh stylist was so wonderful to work with for the day of my wedding. It was so nice for her to come to my house before the wedding so I didn't have to worry about going to place to place. Since I never wear make up, she explained to me the looks and we decided from there. It was amazing to see the transformation at the end. She really is amazing at her work, both my bridesmaids looked beautiful as well . It refreshing to see someone truly LOVE what they do. It was a pleasure to work with her, she is so down to earth I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

I don't have enough good things to say about The Pittsburgh Stylist! At the trial, Tamie not only created a flawless look for us, but she was also so fun and personable! Also, she is very responsive to communication and highly flexible and accommodating. We have planned our wedding from out-of-state and she was very accommodating to our days and times while visiting locally. The day I got married it was pretty damp, humid high 80's. We took our pictures outside and danced the evening away and didn't have to reapply our makeup once! Tamie made each of us look natural and beautiful. I cannot tell you how many compliments we each received on how great our makeup looked. Not only is Tamie super talented, but she is so upbeat and positive -- The exact type of person you want doing your makeup on the biggest day of your life! One of the best vendor decisions you will make!

PS: Do yourselves a favor, ladies, and go with the false eyelashes on your special day. You won't regret it!

The wedding party was not picky sense we were not make-up people to begin with. You showed Tamie a picture of what your interested and she made it happen. Tamie made it easy by coming to where we were staying and complete everyone makeup. She is very reasonable especially for special occasions: prom, weddings, to complete professional photos. I recommend the fake lashes it makes a hug difference in a photo. Tamie is who I will contact again to make me look beautiful, even if it was just for one day. I preferred a professional over trying to put make-up myself. Friends, co-workers, and family were amazed by the transformation! Thank you, Tamie!

Tamie was absolutely AMAZING! She was recommended to me by my planner for my wedding day. She was very quick to respond and flexible when setting up a trial. I am typically nervous to have anyone do my make up, considering I do not wear much, but Tamie nailed the look I gave her to work with at the trial. Plus, she was very reasonably priced. I did not even need to consider looking else where. On my wedding day, Tamie made all of my girls and myself look flawless. Not to mention she is sooo much fun! I felt like I knew her for years. Tamie was such a pleasure to work with from booking to the big day! She was super flexible and traveled out to my wedding destination from Pittsburgh to make my entire group plus myself beautiful! As a bride, there are so many things running through your head and it was an incredible relief to not have to worry about this part. I knew I would look great and it was one less thing to be stressed about. She is also an incredible person to be around and has a fantastic energy. Tamie came to our wedding venue to do the makeup for my wedding, as well as my mom and many bridesmaids. She did a great job! She did my trial run the morning of my shower so I could see how it wore all day, which was really helpful. The day of the wedding, our makeup lasted the whole day, even in the humidity and through the tears, and our false lashes stayed on without a problem. She's very nice and easy to talk to, and her prices are very affordable. I don't wear much makeup, and many of my bridesmaids don't, but we all felt comfortable and looked beautiful. I'm so glad Tamie did our makeup!

Lisa Nicklow was phenomenal! I have sensitive skin and am allergic to lots of makeup so she went out of her way to find makeup that I did not have a reaction to. Tamie did the makeup for my mom, my sister and I for my wedding in May 2016 and she was absolutely amazing. Tamie did an amazing job at my wedding! The day of she came to us and did makeup for 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and myself. Everyone looked flawless and loved their makeup look. Tamie truly takes the time to listen to what you want, but makes suggestions for how things may look better in pictures. Our makeup lasted all day and night and we all received so many compliments. Tamie was great to work with! She did make-up for my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and me. I really like that she listened to everyone and gave each member of the bridal party a unique look they were happy with. She also knows what’s important for bridal make-up and made sure everyone looked nice for the photos. I would definitely recommend Tamie - the prices are very affordable and the make-up looks great!

Tamie did an amazing job on my wedding day!! I attended a wedding right after I got engaged, and was blown away by the brides makeup. I asked the bride who did her makeup (the Pittsburgh stylist!!) and immediately booked Tamie for my wedding! Tamie did my makeup, all the bridemaids, and both moms. She took everyone's personal style into consideration with their makeup, and made everyone feel beautiful. In addition to doing an amazing job, she answers any emails quickly, showed up on time, and helped me come up with a timeline for all the girls to get ready in time. Book her early as she fills up for wedding season!!

Tamie was wonderful! She was prompt with her email responses and arriving on the wedding day itself. She was always both professional and friendly and listened to my opinions. She knew what I had in mind and did a great job! I would also say that the wedding day was better than the trial, partly because the lighting was much better! And price can't be beat, especially for the great job she does! Would highly recommend to anyone, including those who normally don't get their makeup done.

Tamie did the makeup for my 5 bridesmaids and she did an awesome job!! I wanted a more natural look for my bridesmaids and Tamie nailed it. Everyone looked pretty and polished and her prices were extremely reasonable! I have no doubt that she can do makeup as good, if not better, than artists charging 3 times as much. (And as a bonus Tamie is very easy to talk to while she is doing your makeup). I would highly recommend Tamie to any bride.

I usually don't wear makeup so when I have have my makeup done, it usually scares me because it is such an adjustment from my daily routine. Tamie gave me a natural look but still made sure my features stood out in my wedding pictures. Each of my seven bridesmaids have had their makeup done a time or two but all commented that they never looked so good! Tamie is so talented and professional! She went out of her way to accommodate me, my bridesmaids and my mother while we were getting ready and created the exact look everyone was going for. She was not only FANTASTIC at the ALL of the bridesmaids, mothers, sisters and bride's make up she was very easy to work with leading up to the wedding. When I got engaged, my original plan was to save money and do my own makeup for my wedding day, but after a few recommendations from fellow brides, I decided to look for a professional. As luck would have it, I had a friend with a sister who provided this exact service, and I couldn't be happier with Tamie's work! She was very personable and quick to respond to my questions. She was also extremely flexible, allowing me to use my trial run as a test for my engagement photos. You also can't beat her prices, SO reasonable! She's great at what she does - myself, along with each of my bridesmaids, all had makeup done for the big day, and the effect was beautiful and stunning. On top of that, she's super friendly, so even though she's providing a service, she makes you feel comfortable, like you've been friends for years. I would definitely recommend Tamie, and hope that our paths cross again in the future for any makeup/beauty needs!
