The Pinery at the Hill is a dream come true. From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Michelle, our coordinator, was an absolute lifesaver—so organized, calm, and responsive. As a busy bride and groom, we couldn’t have asked for a better planner to keep everything running smoothly and on time.

Liese’s floral work was stunning—she truly brought our vision to life with her artistry and attention to detail.
Angela, our DJ, was phenomenal and kept the energy high all night.

But what our guests can’t stop talking about is the FOOD. The chef and baker is truly world-class—every single dish was incredible, and people are still raving (and even dreaming!) about the meal and desserts.

Everyone was flexible, professional, and incredibly kind. We felt supported, celebrated, and stress-free thanks to the amazing team at the Pinery. If you're getting married in Colorado Springs, this is your venue!

Wow, Michelle made our wedding day amazing! I would choose this venue and Michelle over and over! I am so happy with the decision to get married here! Everything was so professional. Michelle took care of everything the day of and I had no stress! Everyone commented about how professional Michelle is as well as how gorgeous the venue is! One thing I love about this venue besides the views is how much is included in the price!

I am a wedding painter and just painted a wedding at the Pinery! It is a beautiful venue, clean, elegant and has wonderful service. There is easy, ample parking, so its easy for guests and large parties to access. It's close to town, and easy to get to. I love the chapel and how it is literally steps from the reception site, and bathroom. It is an all in one perfect spot for a wedding. Highly recommended!! I hope to paint more weddings here in the future!

Michelle and the Pinery team was absolutely amazing! My husband and I are both military, stationed on opposite sides of the country and our families live in TX. We decided to get married in CO and we couldn't have found a better venue for all of our wedding desires. From the initial planning, Michelle was very organized and responsive. The Pinery made it simple when it came to deciding floral, table settings, cake and food tasting, and all the details in between. My husband and I were able finalize all of those details in one day at the Pinery! We had Zoom meetings with the DJ and were in contact with Michelle and the rest of the team before our big day. Amidst work schedules and planning for our big day, Michelle was the best day of wedding coordinator! We are so thankful for the Pinery. It was a beautiful venue for our wedding ceremony and reception, accommodating, and all around delightful. We highly recommend it. :)

If you are getting married in Colorado Springs, you need to host your event at The Pinery! Their coordinator and entire staff are the best of the best! They make the planning process stress free and efficient and listen to what you want for your day and turn it into reality! The flowers and decor, food, cake, music, and atmosphere were incredible. We were blown away by the professionalism of the staff and quality of the service we received. We continue to have our guests reach out to us about what a great time they had. We are so grateful that we had our wedding at The Pinery. We treasure our experience and memories from that day thanks to the staff and venue.

PLANNING
We were a little nervous going into the planning process since we were planning a destination wedding but Michelle, the venue’s wedding coordinator/manager, made everything absolutely perfect. We flew in to Colorado Springs for a day leading up to the wedding and she lined up meetings with the venue, florist, caterer for the food tasting and baker for the cake tasting all in one day back to back. We were also able to send several packages to the venue to avoid bringing them on our flight in, which we appreciated so much. One of the packages required a signature for delivery but no one was available to receive it at that time. Michelle took the situation into her own hands and went to the post office to pick up the package before it was sent back to the original sender – we were/are SO THANKFUL! She went above and beyond to make sure our day went exactly as planned. She even read the lengthy booklet of instructions I had provided that detailed where I envisioned everything being placed and what I wanted to leave the venue with at the end of the night. She 100% nailed everything.

FLORAL
I knew exactly what I wanted my floral to look like to the point that I ordered pampas grass from Ukraine and burnt orange silk flowers from China to get the look I was going for. I was very specific in my request that I only wanted champagne color floral, greenery, dried palms, dried bunnies and pops of burnt orange from the floral I had shipped in. Aside from a champagne flower that pulled a little on the pink side (the main part of the flower was champagne but the tops of it were a light shade of pink), the florist did a GREAT job taking my vision and bringing it to life. They bent over backwards to ensure every pink-ish flower was pulled from any and all arrangements. They also fluffed the arrangements to make them look like that’s how they were supposed to be. At the end of the day – they were GORGEOUS and EXACTLY what I wanted. Thank you to Liese and the floral team for being patient with me and my bridesmaids (who are pickier than I am) and bringing my vision to life. They were PERFECT!

THE FOOD
I was extremely nervous about how the food was going to turn out for dinner. I’ve been to quite a few weddings and the vast majority of them had mediocre food at best. We also wanted to make sure my dad enjoyed the food that night. He’s where I get my pickiness from. He initially requested that he get a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner because it was “safe” and he knew he would like it. LOL Luckily, no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were requested after he tasted dinner, AND he was bragging on how delicious the food was that night (and for weeks after). We received a lot of compliments on how great the food was from all of our friends and family. We might be biased but it was the best food we’ve had at a wedding BY FAR.

THE CAKE
We didn’t want the traditional wedding cake so we asked for a cinnamon roll wedding cake. It was unique, cute and DELICIOUS. My husband also requested a Fall Out themed groom’s cake. For those who know what I’m talking about, he requested a bottle cap design. She did a great job on the design and the cake was so yummy.

THE DJ
Wow, we had a PARTY. The DJ followed my song requests for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and party songs to a T. He also knew exactly when and how to transition the songs and he played the best end of night song – all of our guests made a giant circle around the dance floor singing to Journey. He kept the energy up the whole night and we had a BLAST!

OVERALL
We LOVE The Pinery at the Hill. Their all-inclusive experience made wedding planning simple and The Pinery team executed our vision flawlessly. If you’re considering this venue or another, I strongly recommend that you choose The Pinery at the Hill for your big day.

If I could re-live this day, I would. Team 100% included.

My husband and I toured several different venues before ultimately booking The Pinery at The Hill for our wedding in May of this year. Other venues we toured only allotted half days for a much higher cost. In addition, all of the amenities provided in The Pinery’s wedding packages were an important requirement because we didn’t want each other (or family members) worrying about anything except celebrating!
It is not an exaggeration when I say, this venue is utterly beautiful and elegant. It was everything we were looking for! There was not a spot at this venue that was unattractive for photos. The view of downtown Colorado Springs and The Rocky Mountains is the cherry on top. Our guests were incessantly complementing our choice in having our wedding celebration here.
If the pristine venue itself doesn’t sell you, the team makes it a no-brainer. Michelle and the entire staff at The Pinery were absolutely fantastic! Everyone was extremely professional and accommodating. Michelle and Liese made sure to respond to ALL of my emails in a timely manner, answering any questions we had, and happily made adjustments when we asked.
It’s clear that everyone employed at the Pinery takes pride in what they do. We truly felt like we were in great hands during the entire planning process and the day of our wedding. Michelle arranged for my husband and I to have a few minutes alone after the ceremony to take a breather and she even brought us some hors d’oeuvres to snack on before our grand entrance. Furthermore, she had our barely-touched dinner boxed up for us to take home.
It’s the little things that meant a lot to us.
I could rant and rave about The Pinery at The Hill for much longer but I trust you’ll see the magic for yourself when you choose them for your celebration!

I cannot say enough good things about The Pinery at the Hill and their amazing staff! The road to our wedding was a little bit bumpy due to the pandemic, we had our original plan ready to go and a month before our date, we decided to postpone. Michelle so amazing to work with throughout our 2 and a half year planning process. She was easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and listened to everything I wanted. Our big day finally came and it went off without a hitch! The staff was warm and welcoming to all our guests, Michelle worked behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly, and the venue was gorgeous. The day was beyond any of my expectations and I am so pleased we chose to go with the Pinery! I could not recommend this venue enough!!!

We had our wedding on 9/26/2020 and I wouldn’t change my experience for the world (strange to say that now). Michelle and her team are incredible at what they do. Michelle only keeps the best waiters on staff. They find a way to say yes to everything. They went above and beyond for every single guest that came. Please don’t cancel or postpone your wedding... you won’t regret going through with your big day regardless of what it ends up looking like. Covid is here to stay, we have to learn how to safely live with it. We had 133 guests; no one got sick. All of my guests will not stop talking about how wonderful our wedding was. This would not have possible without Michelle and her team. I owe every thank you in the world to them. Michelle is a dream come true. Ivy is amazing. Liese far exceeded my expectations for flowers. Rachel’s donuts are some of the best you’ll ever have. People are asking me where I got them from in town. The food was Altitude Group standard. Everyone raves about how great the food was.

Michelle understands that this is a tough time right now. She held my hand and kept me in check through multiple freak outs prior to the wedding. It’s as much of a roller coaster for her as it is for every bride. She goes above and beyond for her clients. She will do anything to take care of her clients in the best way possible. Please treat her with kindness because I can tell you for a fact, Michelle doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. We did not postpone... I am glad I listened to Michelle and let her guide me

We had our wedding at The Pinery at the Hill in November 2020 and had Michelle as our wedding coordinator. As someone who does events for a living, I was so relieved to find a team so responsive, friendly and timely at a venue so beautiful! They were nothing short of amazing.

While our wedding downsized due to Covid, the venue was extremely accommodating to ensure every one of our guests that attended in-person were safe. And while it's near impossible to do that, I really appreciated them working with us on any additional precautions we requested. In addition, they helped me set up a super high quality Zoom option which made those who couldn't attend in-person, super happy as they could "take part" in both the ceremony and reception.

On our actual wedding day, they really did go above and beyond. Not only did Michelle make sure I had a moment to step away with my husband and really sink in the day - but I seriously cannot rave enough about the food and dessert. Our guests were pleasantly surprised it wasn't just another "wedding dinner of plain chicken or beef". To sum it up, my bridesmaids couldn't stop eating and danced with pie, so I think that explains it all.

My husband and I could not recommend the Pinery at the Hill more. It's an absolutely amazing venue with incredibly professional staff, amazing food, beautiful views and I could go on! We were always so excited about the Pinery from the moment we booked the venue. Planning was seamless and easy from the moment we began. The Pinery staff is a well-oiled machine and made everything easy and less stressful for us. We had everything in place and set with a few months to go before our wedding.....then COVID hit. Dun Dun Dun. The main reason I am writing this review is because of how impressed we were with our wedding coordinator, Michelle, during this time. She was amazingly professional and kind and helped us navigate through the realities of the pandemic. Any couple who had to work through their wedding plans during this time knows just how stressful it was. While we were FREAKING OUT, Michelle calmly guided us through our options and reassured us that everything was going to be ok. We ended up postponing our wedding by two months and we reduced the size, but despite all of the changes, in the end it was everything we could have hoped for and more. We have the best memories from our wedding day and we are so grateful to Michelle and the Pinery for making our dream a reality.

I cannot rave enough about the Pinery at the Hill! Michelle, our wedding coordinator, is one of the most incredible people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. My husband and I fell in love with the Pinery and booked it for July of 2020. Once COVID hit, we of course started having concerns about our wedding but Michelle was so quick to respond to our emails and always put my mind at ease. Once June 1st hit, we needed to make a decision whether to postpone (free of charge) or carry on with our intend wedding date on July 19th. We called Michelle who talked us through all of the safety procedures they put in place, and who reassured us that our 100 person wedding is good to go! We literally cried tears of joy! Throughout the next month and a half, Michelle was right there to answer any questions, help with wedding planning and where things are going, etc. She even planned our whole rehearsal dinner (which we had upstairs in their other space) when our original restaurant backed out. I trusted her with everything! The Pinery, and all of the vendors associated with it, were nothing but accommodating, communicative and 100% understanding of last minute changes or concerns. We were able to drop everything off the day before the wedding, and Michelle handled the rest. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day despite everything going on in the world. Michelle took charge of everything and everyone and it was so nice to let go of control and just enjoy the day to its fullest. Michelle even brought us a beautiful plate of apps upstairs for my husband and I to enjoy before our grand entrance! It's the little things. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was both at the rehearsal dinner and reception, not to mention the delicious lunch provided to the wedding party! Oh and I can't forget our awesome DJ - Logan! We loved him and so did everyone else! Overall, Michelle and everyone at the Pinery exceeded my expectations and more. I can't thank them enough for the most perfect day that we will cherish forever.

My husband and I got married at The Pinery in August of 2019. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue and day! The Pinery is an all-inclusive venue, so your caterer, cake artist, DJ, and florist are already selected and ready to meet with you at your convenience. They also set up for you on the day of your wedding. This made for a VERY stress free experience and all who contract with The Pinery were wonderful! We worked with Michelle during our wedding planning process and she is incredibly warm, friendly, organized, and detail-oriented. She made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day and it all came together in the exact way we envisioned! We highly recommend The Pinery to anybody. Our wedding day was the most magical day of our lives and we are eternally grateful to The Pinery and Michelle for this storybook experience!

This past weekend my daughter and now son in-law got married at the Pinery at the Hill. I can not say enough about how beautiful the wedding turned out. From the very beginning, the staff at the Pinery was extremely friendly and helpful. Michelle worked with us through the entire process and was a true delight. Michelle is warm, friendly and kind-hearted and at the same time, very organized and professional. This was my first wedding I have ever planned and being out of state complicated matters for me. However, Michelle was very accommodating when I was in town for planning sessions and made the process so easy. My guests are still raving at the elegance and beauty of the wedding. Everything went as planned and I am so pleased with all Michelle did to make this happen. I also wish to thank Liese for the beautiful flower arrangements, Chef Kelsey for the delicious food and all those who provided services for our wedding. The DJ was awesome and keep our guests dancing and having a great time. The groomsmen lounge and bridal suite were wonderful areas for our bridal party to get ready and relax. As my daughter parted in the limo at the end of the night, she turned to me and said "this was magical and better than what she had dreamed/envisioned". As a mom, I couldn't ask for more. Our experience at The Pinery was wonderful! Michelle hits it out of the park as a wedding coordinator. From the moment we met her, she made us feel welcomed and known. Her responsiveness is unmatched and her willingness to work with us was astounding. She is a lovely person in general, which makes all the difference. My husband and I attribute much of the success of our special day to her. The venue was a hit, the flowers were beautiful - thanks Liese! Finally, the DJ, Logan, was unreal. He was professional and truly paid attention to our guests to play the perfect songs for our friends and family. Thanks Pinery for a fantastic experience!

The staff at The Pinery at the Hill could not have made the process of putting our wedding together more seamless. Mackenzie was technically our day-of coordinator, but describing her as such would be selling her short. Not only did she ensure that we were able to book the date that we wanted, but she walked us through the planning process, simplifying each step along the way and making sure all questions were answered. Each package was perfectly outlined for us, detailing food, floral, cake and bar options. Our tastings for food and cake, as well as our floral meeting, were all perfectly executed and planned. The day of the wedding, we were all well-taken care of before, during and after all festivities ended. The bartenders were phenomenal and the DJ curated a fantastic playlist that more than satisfied our music taste. We could not have asked for a better experience with The Pinery at the Hill and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unforgettable experience.

From before we even booked our wedding with Michelle, we had a great experience with The Pinery. The tour was comprehensive, and Michelle took the time to explain everything and answer our questions. After looking at other venues, it was clear no other could compare. We made the best decision by having our wedding at The Pinery! The planning meetings with Michelle, Liese, Chef Sue, and DJ Anthony were so helpful and made the planning process on my end so easy. Everything from the food, flowers, dessert, and music was perfect, and of course, the venue is gorgeous! Everything completely exceeded our expectations. The staff is incredibly efficient and kind and really made the whole day so easy -- I wasn't worried about a single thing! I can't recommend The Pinery enough!

My wife and I thought the world of the Pinery from start to finish on our wedding process. Their attention to detail and their painstaking effort to make your day go without a hitch makes them a stand out if you’re looking for a venue. The way they handled everything from our flowers, arrangement, rooms, and the minor issues that came up through the day was exceptional. We could not have been happier with our wedding experience.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at The Pinery and every single detail and minute of the day not only met, but exceeded our expectations.

Pre wedding: We both have very demanding careers with incredibly busy schedules that often require us to work 24+ hours and nights and the entire team at The Pinery accommodated our schedules without question to make things as easy as possible on our end. Communication was through face to face interactions, email and even text messaging. There were also several phone and “after hours” meetings due to our inflexible schedules. I was surprised at how easy the entire process was.

Wedding day: WOW! From the time we arrived at the venue at 8am until we left well after midnight, the day was perfect. The staff was receptive to every request and last minute change needed. The floral staff double checked the arrangements with me early in the day and were happy to make any changes I wanted. Lunch was provided for our entire wedding party as well as mimosas for the girls and bloody marys for the guys. Neither myself or my husband were inconvenienced at all during the day, the team simply took care of everything. The ceremony started on time and the rest of the night flowed effortlessly. The reception was AMAZING and the DJ played music appropriate to the vibe the reception was going. The staff ensured we also were able to eat and the food was delicious. At the end of the night, the staff were still more than willing to help us clean out the rooms, load our cars and made sure we had everything we needed.

Post wedding: Since our wedding, we have received thank you emails from the staff and they have aided us with items that were accidentally left behind by some of our guests. So many of our guests raved about the beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff and outstanding food and beverage services. As we reflect on our wedding, we are very happy we decided to celebrate our wedding at The Pinery and would recommend it with highest praise!

Special thanks: First of all to Mackenzie, the coordinator at the venue, is OUTSTANDING at her job. She is communicative, punctual and organized. She was involved every step of the way and was available on our wedding day for anything we needed. She truly exemplifies professionalism and is among some of the best you can find. Secondly, huge shout out to Anthony, who was our DJ, for working seamlessly with the live band we had and for making our reception one of the most fun parties we have ever attended! He also accommodated last minute changes to lineups and speeches without faltering once. Also, big thanks to Lisa with the floral services. I met with her months before and showed her pictures of the ideas I liked and talked with her about my vision and she exceeded my expectations with all of the floral designs. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to the kitchen and bakery staff. The food was phenomenal and everyone raved about how great it all was!

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding at the Pinery!!! Their staff is top notch and does an extraordinary job at ensuring you have the best day possible. Everything from the food, flowers, DJ, dessert, and service was exceptional! Our guests are still raving about how our wedding was the best food they’ve ever had (beef medallions and salmon for the win). From the very first time we toured the venue and met Michelle, our wedding coordinator, we knew we were in good hands. Michelle left no detain unnoticed the entire year and a half of planning and on the actual day. She made sure everything was organized and flowed well. One of our favorite things she did was had my husband and I take time to enjoy ourselves in the bridal suite while she brought us up appetizers and champagne. It truly was a nice touch. Logan, the DJ, had the entire dance floor packed ALL night! He really listened to what we wanted and more importantly what we didn’t want. The communication between Michelle, the chef, the baker and the florist was all seamless. Everyone was always on the same page. What can I say!! The Pinery gave us the wedding of our dreams!! Flowers, food, views!! Everything is top notch!! Michelle is amazing!! Super helpful!! They make planning a wedding pretty much stress free!!!

Our wedding at The Pinery at the Hill was everything I could have ever dreamed of. Mackenzie was amazing and so helpful along with all the other staff members there. I looked at many venues and never left feeling great and when my husband and I went to The Pinery and met with Mackenzie, we knew we were getting married there! It is such a beautiful place and they made everything run so smoothly. I loved that is is an all inclusive venue, planning a wedding is so stressful and this truly took so much stress off of planning. I highly recommend getting married here, you will NOT regret your decision.

After looking at tons of venues along the front range, none of them even held a candle to The Pinery. Mackenzie and the entire staff at The Pinery made planning infinitely easier- especially planning from out of state. I can't say this enough- all inclusive is the way to go! No random hidden fee's, or paying for things you don't need to- they're up front and totally honest about everything and genuinely just want to make sure your wedding day is the best day of your life! Not only does it make everything less stressful, but everything included is amazing! The food was incredible, the cake was delicious, our flowers were gorgeous, and the service at The Pinery is unparalleled. The venue is absolutely stunning, and getting ready in the bridal suite the morning of with my girls will forever be one of my favorite memories, right next to having our ceremony on the gorgeous veranda and tearing it up on the dance floor thanks to the DJ that my guests still say was the best they'd ever seen at a wedding. Thank you so much for everything Pinery staff, you made our day absolutely flawless!

My wedding at The Pinery was absolutely flawless. Mackenzie and her staff were so helpful and kind, and made my wedding feel so polished and beautiful. It was such a relief to find a venue that was so stunning and inclusive. Not only did they provide every need for me, but they made what could be a stressful planning event into something utterly seamless and easy. I never had one moment of stress, and because of them I would have never needed to. I'm so grateful to them for making my wedding dreams come true, for surprising me with complimentary mimosas, water, and coffee as I got ready there that morning, and for making what could have been stressful experience a lifetime memory. God Bless that staff and beautiful venue! Also since the venue's terrace wraps around with mountain views, the sunset over the mountains makes for Incredible Pictures!!! Definitely go here, nothing else compares, believe me I looked all over the area. I wouldn't trade my experience there for anywhere else.

I have had so many people tell me that my reception is the best reception they have been to. I truly believe it is because of the staff at The Pinery. Michelle was great throughout the entire process, with quick responses to any question I had and going between my mom and me as we planned. The staff the night of the reception kept the pace going and made sure everything was taken care of. My sister commented that the servers were ready to take people's plates as soon as they were done eating while being careful not to take a plate of someone who was still eating but had gotten up. I would highly recommend the Pinery!

The Pinery was the PERFECT place for our wedding! We worked with Michelle, who was an amazing coordinator and helped us plan every aspect of our wedding. Not only is it in a beautiful location overlooking downtown Colorado Springs and Pike's Peak, but we loved that The Pinery was pretty all-inclusive which made wedding planning easy! The package comes with the ceremony and reception venue, catered food, cake, flowers, DJ and access to the bridal suite/groom's lounge. Our guests loved the appetizers, dinner, cake and dessert bar. The bartender and bar options were also fantastic. We planned the wedding from out of state, and Michelle and her team made wedding planning incredibly easy from afar and when we were in town. The Pinery has plenty of parking for guests, and some nearby hotels (of which there are plenty!) provide a free shuttle to The Pinery. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted: high quality and great location, with staff who are excellent at what they do. The Pinery is also very transparent about their costs, and since we got married in the off-season, it was great for our budget! I would highly highly recommend anyone have their wedding here!

Amazing venue!!! Almost all inclusive and they have an awesome coordinator that keeps in touch with you throughout the whole planning process as well as helps with everything on your wedding day. They do almost everything for you and the building and scenery is beautiful! My husband and I had a perfect wedding day/night at the Pinery!

Where to begin! It was more beautiful than I had even imagined! Michelle, our wedding planner and main point of contact, was amazing. She made it all look and feel so easy! Every question was answered promptly, every request fulfilled with a smile. (Even the very last minute ones I sent as my hair was being done!) She did not forget a thing. She even ran my rehersal (with no help from my officiant) with out missing a beat. She and the team at the Pinery fulfilled an absolute dream wedding. I cannot stress how amazing it was to have one person handle all the important vendors/decisions associated with a wedding. In addition to being your ceremony and rehersal venue, they are your food, booze, flowers, cake, linens, Dj, planner, set up, take down, etc! They even had decor and other little things I was able to use, like a beautiful card box, table numbers, flower girl basket, etc! Speaking of flowers, the flowers could not have been more beautiful. Absolutely stunning! Liese, who did the flowers did an exceptional job with them. She also reappeared in an instant when my bouquet needed adjusted. The food was great; we recieved many compliments. (My only constructive feedback is here, however. The vegetarian guests were lost in the shuffle. Be sure to tell your guests to speak up. My shyer guests didn't say anything and I obviously did not know they didn't get the right plate until it was too late. Also, the bar tenders were very unfriendly. To me, to my husband, and to my guests. Pretty odd choice for someone who works primarily off of tips...) Back to the Pinery...The venue was breath taking during the day and even more so at night. Every worry or guilty thought about money or anything else quickly faded away as the day went on. I am so glad we went with the Pinery! It was a dream wedding!

This venue is awesome! Everything was top notch: location/view, bride/groom rooms, food, cake, decor, flowers, DJ. Michelle and her staff were extremely accommodating at every request. A stress free event that our guests thoroughly enjoyed. This venue is all inclusive which makes planning a breeze. Loved it!

This was an incredible vendor because they had packages that already included most all of what you would need: ceremony space, beautiful reception space, bartenders, open bar options, food vendors, cake vendor, floral vendor and DJ were all part of the same package, plus wedding planners! This was an incredible value for the wonderful service we received.

We absolutely loved working with the staff at the Pinery in Black Forest. All of the staff we worked with were professional and worked so hard to make our dreams come true! As a perfectionist myself and very much a controller, I was hesitant putting all my ideas into the hands of the staff and waiting until our wedding day to see the results, but it was amazing! The venue itself is gorgeous and the staff turn the ballroom into your dream wedding.

We got married on New Years Eve, and they catered to our desire of going until midnight, allowing us to do confetti at midnight, and helping us create a sparkler entrance. We loved working with Lori- she was incredibly kind and helpful. Brandon- gave us a great DJ (Logan) who helped us party all night, Sue made and amazing cake, and Liese created beautiful flowers and centerpieces for us. I was stress free and so happy on our wedding day- Thanks to this awesome team!

Absolute perfection! The Pinery at the Hill is a spectacular setting for a wedding. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner & dancing were each in separate rooms which made transitions from one to the next so easy. The outdoor balcony and patio with stone fireplace were wonderful spaces for our guests to enjoy the beautiful view of downtown Colorado Springs and the mountains. The food was amazing-exactly how it tasted and looked during the tasting. Everything was served promptly and at the right temperature. The service was amazing-each and every person who works at The Pinery went out of their way to meet our needs. They really cared that everything was exactly the way we wanted and that the bride and groom had a stress-free experience. Every question throughout the planning process was answered promptly.
In addition to the meal The Pinery provides a wedding cake. Ours was delicious, unique, and beautiful. The Pinery also creates the floral arrangements, bouquets, etc. Lies Butler, the florist, is incredible. The flowers were stunning. She was so incredibly easy to work with.
Our guests will be talking about The Pinery for a long time because of the beautiful setting, delicious food, and wonderful staff. I cannot recommend The Pinery highly enough. If I could I would give them 10, not 5 stars.

I cannot say enough about this venue and the staff!!!! Brandon and I planned our wedding from Korea but it was the most seamless event ever! It was perfect and I was so stress free through out the entire process! I cannot express enough how amazing it all was. The experience to walking down the aisle, absolutely perfect!!!!

I visited The Pinery at Black Hill with my future husband a few weeks ago to inquire about possibly doing our wedding here-- we met with director of sales, Lori Passaro, and were immediately impressed. She set a new standard for professionalism that we hadn't yet encountered. Lori was warm towards us; knowledgable; prepared; and classy. The facility is beautiful and very clean, and the available packages seemed very reasonably priced. Though we ultimately ended up booking our reception somewhere else, I would absolutely recommend that anyone getting married in the Colorado Springs area consider The Pinery at Black Hill. Lori Passaro is a class act!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. Many of our bridal party members and other vendors told us they haven't ever seen a wedding as well organized and therefore relaxing. The wedding day was not stressful at all and we were well taken care of while planning. Guests commented that the wedding was one of the most beautiful they had seen. The staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. One of the best choices I made when picking a wedding vendor!

The staff and Lori at the Pinery were absolutely wonderful! I can't tell you how much I adore and appreciate everything they had done for us. We worked with Alana and she was so helpful when we were making decisions about what things we should consider when choosing our food and ways to keep things affordable. I can't say enough great things about her and our food was perfect! Everything came out tender, nothing was overcooked and during our tasting the chef brought out our last dish and talked to us for a while! I would highly recommend The Pinery to anyone!

I cannot express enough how much we loved working with The Pinery. Lori and Amy were an absolute joy to work with. I had so many people tell me what a calm bride I was on the days leading up to the wedding and the actual day itself. I would attribute this to my husband, family, friends, but also to the venue itself. This was not just a site to hold our wedding at, they took care of many wedding details for us. The fact that the venue, florist, caterer, DJ and cake designer were all under one roof made the planning process a breeze. We showed up for meetings with ideas/inspiration images in hand and they took care of the rest. The day of the wedding was great for us because The Pinery set up all of our decorations, etc and packaged everything up at the end of the night. Definitely a stress free experience and a perfect wedding day.

The Pinery in Black Forest did an outstanding job with my daughter Brianna's Quinceaner in July 2012. It was our first time doing anything on such a grand scale and the staff pretty much made it a stress free event. Lori and Amy were so friendly and accomodating and helped everything run smoothly. The Pinery Black Forest did a fabulous job! The day of our wedding it had rained and they expertly shifted our outdoor ceremony to an indoor one with minimal delay and still included all the beauty and most of our decour! As we shifted into our reception the staff kept us on schedule and catered to our every need, especially as our wedding planner grew more and more inconsistent with her services. Our reception was amazing, the food was top notch and all of our guests had a blast thanks to the Pinery's staff. Without them I'm not sure we could not have pulled off our dream wedding.

Incredible venue! Every step of the process was fun and easy with such an amazing staff to help along the way. Lori and Amy (wedding coordinators) were so accommodating and helpful that it made planning our special day even better. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about how great the venue was, but even more about the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We are so proud to have had our wedding here and would do it again in a heartbeat!

The most amazing venue! Lori and Amy (the wedding coordinators) were extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process. They never forced their opinion on us, however, they would make suggestions and back them up with reason. We had multiple meetings before our wedding that put our minds at ease. We did not have to think about anything come wedding day because they let us know when things were happening throughout the day and told us exactly where we needed to be. The people who work here work so well together I never had an issue that was brought to me. They handled everything from watching the weather and giving updates to making an extra bouquet that I forgot to add so I wouldn't have to worry. Lori was amazing at orgainizing it and didn't miss a beat. The place is absolutely beautiful and wouldn't have asked for another place or people to work with! :)

it was perfect! couldnt have asked for any better. the pinery handled just about everything for us, and we were stress free the day of the wedding. the planners there were all fantastic! DJ's with a pulse is the dj service that the pinery uses and they were great! we had a lot of fun with them, and they were very accomodating. I would highly recommend the pinery to everyone!

The Pinery at Black Forest is a wonderful venue! From the moment I stepped in the front doors I fell in love! We ultimately decided to have our wedding here because of the location and everything that was included. Having a place that had it's own florist, catering, and DJ made my life so much easier. Lori and Maggie were wonderful to work with! I was planning my wedding from Boston and they were always so helpful with questions that I had. They knew exactly how to do everything and the place looked beautiful on the great day! Everyone at our wedding said they had never been to a better run wedding. This is the place to go in Colorado Springs. And the forest makes for such a beautiful background!

We had to reschedule due to COVID19. The Pinery was very understanding and helpful. We were able to get a new date and adjust EVERYTHING, including implementing social distancing. The food was delicious and our daughter had a wonderful experience as the bride.

We got married at the Pinery in January 2020 and it could not have been a better experience! From day 1, the staff was so welcoming and so excited to help us plan our big day. I planned most of the wedding from out of town, and the staff was so accommodating to when I was in town for meetings, and communicating well over email. The day was exactly what we wanted and we got so many compliments. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with great food, a wonderful DJ, and helpful staff, the Pinery is definitely the place to book!

The Pinery at Black Forest made our wedding the most perfect day ever! First off, the grounds, chapel, and ballroom are gorgeous! And every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional from the first phone call to the end of the reception. Their expertise, knowledge, and wide range of options made planning the wedding as convenient and hassle-free as possible, even from 1,000 miles away! They were available to talk over the phone, email, or meet in person to answer all my questions and work with me to plan a beautiful event that matched my vision and needs. They provided so my services from food to flowers, and music to décor. The food was hands-down some of the best food we have ever eaten! And the florist was amazing, she was able to give me the elegant, sophisticated, sparkly look I wanted - within our budget! In addition they took care of so many details, things I wouldn't have even thought of! From running rehearsal (it was the smoothest rehearsal I've ever attended) to printing day-of schedules for everyone in the wedding party, to designation someone to take the cards and gifts at the end of the night, they did it all! They even had bread and juice for communion! Their DJ met with me over Skype and walked me through every minute of the day so I could pick the perfect song for each event and set the mood my fiancé and I desired. We also used their preferred photographer, Teresa Lee. I haven't seen the photos yet, but she was fun and comfortable to work with. Teresa also took charge so we knew what to do and paid attention to detail; I liked that! I have dreamed of my fairytale wedding my whole life and thanks to The Pinery my dream came true!

My wedding day was a dream and that is due in large part to the team at The Pinery at the Hill. The food was amazing, the florist made my flower vision come to life, and the DJ was awesome! I wish I could do it all over again because it was the best day of my life!

When we found The Pinery with an open Saturday just 5 months before, we knew it must have been fate. Lori and their entire team made the entire wedding process so fun, exciting, simple, and most of all stress free. Their team was on top of every detail from the start and the day of the wedding it showed. Everything worked out perfectly the day of and their support made the entire day stress free!

I cannot say enough great things about the Pinery at Black Forest and their entire staff. We used them for our reception venue site. We had started working with the Pinery 21 months before our wedding. Through the entire planning process they were communicative, professional, and committed to making our day everything we wanted it to be and more.

5 days before our wedding day, the Black Forest fire started and not long after that, was threatening the Pinery. It soon became clear we would not be having our reception there. Lori, from the Pinery, contacted us immediately, letting us know they wanted to work with us to make our reception happen. So with the help of our wedding planner, Sarah Viera, we began to plan for our reception to be held at my parents house, which the Pinery and their vendors would still be providing catering, staff, flowers, DJ, etc. for. Hours later, we were evacuating my parents. We were onto Plan C, which turned out to be at Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur. Once again, the Pinery came to the rescue, and met us there the following day to re-plan everything. Not only was Lori there, but every vendor and assistant from the Pinery. I could not have been more impressed with their professionalism and commitment. Even when all of their personal lives were being affected, they pulled together to make our special day happen. Our wedding reception was everything we could have dreamed of and so much more because of the Pinery, Sarah Viera Event Planning, and Spruce Mountain Ranch. The Pinery staff are all amazing, and their venue is gorgeous. I would hands-down recommend them to anyone.

Our wedding was everything I have ever dreamed of. From the initial planning stages to the day of the wedding, Michelle facilitated and handled every detail with such professionalism and expertise. My mother and I are huge DIY'ers, and had a ton of input and décor that Michelle allowed us to incorporate. The staff was so supportive of this, and did an excellent job of adding those special touches to our tables, ceremony, and the entry way. They also went above and beyond to organize all of the projects we brought in and collect and box them at the end of the wedding night. Conrad, the bartender was amazing! He was such a blast, he got out on the dance floor and made my signature drink such a huge talking point. My wedding at the Pinery at the Hill was worth EVERY penny!

What I loved:
The Pinery was mostly all inclusive, minus the cake and the photography. It was helpful to have so much provided, and I wouldn't complain about any of their services. Lori, our wedding cordinator from The Pinery, was GREAT! She couldn't have done more to please us. The atmosphere was wonderful. We got more than what we had expected. The people at The Pinery made wedding planning easy, with no need for a wedding planner.

We are so glad to have selected the Pinery at the Hill as our wedding venue - it was spectacular! The bridal chamber was exquisite, but the whole venue boasts an elegant Colorado ambiance. The event planners, chef, and DJ were particularly easy and pleasant to work with. My only gripes were that we had to work with a new florist mid-way through and consequently our flowers didn't turn out 100% as I'd envisioned them, and the cake lady unfortunately was not easy to work with. I enjoyed the one-stop-shop and would recommend this venue to friends.

I loved The Pinery!! It was so beutiful and pretty much stress free. The people are very helpful, but there were just a couple times that I felt like the communication was a bit off, but overall I absolutely loved it. Our wedding turned out perfect and I would, and do, definitely reccommend The Pinery to anyone looking to get married!!

My wedding was beautiful and the food was amazing. Ashley made the planning stress free, and everything was just as I had imagined it. However I can't rate this place a 5 star venue as I did have some problems with the bar. After booking at premium level which was suppose to include everything in the bar upon arrival and asking for my first drink of patron I was told it was not included in my packet. I found it strange but I let it go as to not ruin my night. When I got home I checked their website and it turns out it was included and paid for. Ashley fixed it by offering a medium bottle a few days later to make up for their mistakes. After hearing from guest in days to follow I was informed that guest were told they had to tip in order to get drinks, asked to pay for drinks such as grey goose which I had already paid the venue for, bottled beer was out by 8 and no tap was available, the bar tenders closed and disappeared whenever. I am very unhappy with this part of the service. I would absolutely still recommend this venue because it is truly beautiful, but I would assign someone to make sure that none of this happens to you.

We hosted our August wedding here, and planned the entire event from another state. The views of the mountains are spectacular thanks to the windows that align the exterior walls. The entrance is grand and the reception space is easily adjustable to fit any color palette you may desire. The chef and food were fantastic. The florist was so accomodating and worked hard to make my vision come to life. The pastry chef initially struck a negative cord with us but provided superb customer service recovery and made us the most gorgeous wedding cake! They were even able to make our favorite imported alcohol choice available per our request. Our issues were with the financial team for constantly making mistakes on our invoices and the wedding coordinator for her disappearing acts the day of our wedding. It was was such a problem even our guests were looking for her wondering why she was unavailable to assist with issues that arose, though she promised she would be available through the evening. I was so upset to see that our guests never made it outside to the veranda (which was designated for cocktail hour) where the tables were decorated. My parents had to search high and low for her to come to us and help us understand why our guests were not directed to do so. The DJ was also caused some distress due to poor communication and coordination with the other team members and vendors, and also not accomodating a major song request we made. All in all, I would choose Pinery at the Hill again simply because despite the problems that occured, it was our imperfectly perfect wedding and our guests continue to rave about how beautiful, elegant, and fun our wedding was!

To our surprise our experience was not like the other reviews we read prior to booking the pinery. The venue is beautiful and initially we felt confident about our decision but after we signed our contract the Pinery went through changes in their staff, pricing and packages which we we caught in the middle of. We understand businesses change but we were let down by their lack of communication. When we brought up concerns to the director about how the new day of wedding coordinator Lauren did for rehearsal and wedding day, their response was to point fingers at us for not hiring an outside day of coordinator to take care of what we thought we were paying them for. When I sent my planning document to the new wedding coordinator (who they switched us out with one month from our wedding) she reassured me multiple times that she would take care of everything and there was nothing to worry about. Instead of admitting that they mislead us on expectations, they tried to blame us for not having an outside coordinator even though they saw my schedule and notes in multiple meetings and emails and not once were concerns raised. They should have made it clear on what they will not be helping with on the day of the wedding. We could have avoided this frustration if they had been upfront and we would have taken care of it ourselves but we were told they were handling everything. Not to mention the coordinator tells me the day before the wedding she won’t be at the venue in the morning because of her daughters soccer game. I understand personal things come up but she gave us no time of arrival and got there at 1:30. Our experience would have been very different if there was better communication and clear expectations. Or even them owning up to messing up instead of blaming us would have not led us to share our experience publicly. The part that blows us away is that in the director email response she tells us that they “are not responsible if people choose to not listen to the information being given. We are there for guidance but can only offer our services if they are being received.” when I told her my bridal party had no guidance during rehearsal and the coordinator only had us do it one time and told us everyone would figure it out. Instead of apologizing for lack of communication she condescendingly tells us it’s because our entire bridal party wasn’t listening. Just wow. They never apologized other than to apologize that they could not offer services they don’t provide. Basically saying they don’t own up to any thing that went wrong because it’s is our fault for not knowing what we were asking for (i.e. keeping us on time, telling our families where to sit during the ceremony, coordinating rehearsal etc.) was beyond their services.
