Wonderful Experience- High Quality Product

When we started to look for invitations, the first thing we did was go online. I honestly thought it was the only option these days. However, we quickly realized that method was not for us. We needed a little more guidance. So we brought up Google to see if in-person stationary stores still existed. Lo and behold we found the Paperbag! It was a joy working with Liz. She really helped us consider all of our options and made sure all the details were correct before we printed. It was wonderful to have such a personal touch on such an important wedding detail.

Amazing Experience

Invitations were in of the things I didn’t want to deal with for my wedding. I walked into Liz’s store and she was so patient and helpful. I first stopped in her store in early March before the pandemic hit and didn’t order invitations until late July. Liz kept in constant contact with me, made all the changes I requested, offered her advice, and went above and beyond to help me with my invitations. She was so helpful, patient, responsive, and kind during the whole process. I’ve been told my invitations look like they’re for the royal wedding...they are that beautiful. Liz is truly great at what she does and was well worth the money spent!

Great experience and customer service

Liz and her associates were extremely helpful throughout the process. We went in with few ideas and once we told them to Liz she knocked the rest out of the park. She was very responsive through email and calls, quick turn around, and great pricing. They know how to make the process as smooth as possible for the wedding invitations. Breathtaking!!

The ladies at The Paperbag were not only helpful, but accommodating to everything we had asked for or needed. There were so many different options, it was a lot of fun just to piece our invitation together!

Best stationary store ever

Great service & invitations at an affordable price!

What a wonderful experience working with Liz Richmond and her staff. From the beginning they took our ideas and made them into reality. The selection and knowledge of weddings and all the newest details was so helpful not to mention their ability to address and mail. A must if you want it done right!

Fantastic service

My husband and I ordered our wedding invitations from The Paperbag and I'm so glad we did. We had considered using an online site, but the customer service and wide range of options available at The Paperbag made all the difference. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, but the owner was so great at pulling different styles and helping me narrow down the options. The finished product was beautiful, high quality, and felt really personalized to my husband and myself. Do yourself a favor - instead of giving yourself the headache of trying to order invitations online, go to The Paperbag and let them help you through the process!

Liz was absolutely wonderful! I came in with my mother to start looking at wedding invitations and she was so helpful! When my fiancé came back with me, she had all of our notes and books ready for us to look at and solidify our invitations. She went above and beyond to explain the proper way to address them and where to go/how to mail them! Plus when I came back later to find thank you notes, Liz helped me find exactly what I was envisioning! Definitely recommend The Paperbag to anyone for wedding invitations, thank you notes, or any stationary needs!

I cannot say enough good things about The Paperbag! I had searched every website imaginable for the perfect wedding invitation and do not exaggerate when I say I looked at over a 1000. I went in and sat with Liz and she immediately knew what I needed. When she mentioned the word custom, my eyes saw $$$, but she was able keep it within my budget. She directed me to a local artist, who provided me with custom artwork that Liz then sent to her printer. She also worked with the fine details of the font and spacing, knowing exactly what would make them look perfect! I had the most beautiful invitations that everyone absolutely loved and got to work with wonderfully inviting people!

Out of all the wedding expenses I’ve paid for, this was by far the BEST decision I’ve made! Liz was incredible. She gives you knowledge of ettiquette and “the wedding way” that you can’t get anywhere else! She handles everything and makes it a smooth, stress free, easy process! I am so grateful for her! Don’t shop around, you’ve found the best place, go see Liz!

The Paperbag was recommended to me for my wedding invitations and I could not have been happier with the service. I was able to walk in and out in one meeting with my invitations ordered along with everything else I needed at a reasonable price. They have everything from invitations, stamps, programs and monogrammed napkins. I will admit I was slightly unprepared when I went to go over the invitations but it did not matter because the owner was so knowledgeable and attentive that she helped me through everything and conveyed perfectly what I wanted on the invitations. When I went home I immediately recommended them to two other girls I know getting married this year. I highly recommend this vendor!

Liz was absolutely fantastic. She didn’t try to oversell, and is a font of knowledge where wedding invitations are concerned - when they should be mailed, when to receive RSVPs, etc. I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending this company. Excellent, excellent, excellent.

My daughter's wedding was in October of 2016. Liz was amazing at the Paperbag. I never expected all the raves when our guests got their invitations. So many compliments. The best rave I got sounded like this. Beautiful envelope professionally addressed. The ribbon was like a little present just for us. When you open the invitation the bling sets the stage for what is to come at the wedding. Absolute perfection! My daughter saw a similar invitation elsewhere and Liz had it recreated just for her. We couldn't have asked a better experience from Liz and the Paperbag. Thank you again Liz.

My now husband and I were looking for original invites for our unique wedding. We also did not want to spend an arm and a leg. Working with Liz at the Paperbag was absolutely fantastic. She was flexible with both of our work schedules and did not stop until we had what we wanted. I came to Liz with a wild design idea for our I Do At The Zoo and she helped make the vision in my head a real piece. We were able to create a personalized invite package that created the perfect kick off to our wedding plans.

We went in looking for specific Save the Dates, and left with our full wedding invitations chosen as well as our Thank You cards for our shower! There were so many options for invitations that everyone is sure to find something that fits for them! Working with Liz was simply amazing! She was always so accommodating and took such great care of us! We couldn't have been any happier with our invitations and the experience we had with The Paperbag. Liz and Alida were such a big help with our invitations, programs, and place cards. They have a large selection and were very patient with us. Liz promptly returned emails and was quick to alleviate any stress I had; especially when we had to make last minute changes. We will definitely continue to work with them for future events!

Absolutely the best price and service anywhere. We gave Liz a budget and she never showed us anything over the budget. She was actually $800 under budget and had so many ideas for our day. Would highly recommend anyone to try The Paperbag no matter what your budget. The service was awesome!!! Much better then using the internet for such an important day!!!!

I don't know who anyone could say anything but great things about this shop!! Liz was amazing! She let me sit in there for hourssss, I would say 2-3 hours just sitting and looking at all the huge booked of sample invitations ! She helped me stay within my budget and helped me find the specific theme I wanted for my wedding invitations! They price was much better than I expected and I even got a good deal on thank you cards! She really takes good care of you! Thank you Liz!

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had working with Liz! I live in Philadelphia, but traveled to Allentown just to order invitations and am so happy that I did. I had a few specific requests (lining my envelopes with a nautical map) and while others had told me it was too difficult (or was going to cost a fortune), The Paperbag said, "Sure, we can do that"! I really enjoyed working with them, and appreciated the knowledge and experience. It's very comforting to know you can say, "I trust your advice" and really mean it! The number of compliments I received on my invitations was just icing on the cake.

We used The Paperbag for every stationary need for our wedding. They created our save-the-dates, invitations, ceremony programs, table place cards, and thank-you's. My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with Liz! She is all around incredible to work with. She is professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and very personable. While we were making some of our stationary decisions, we talked with her at length about other aspects of our wedding-questions that we wanted an unbiased (not our parents) opinion of or advice on. I cannot stress how unbelievably kind she was, which alleviated some of that wedding stress. Our friends and family still ask us where we got our invitations done, because they were elegant and reflected our unique style. I would recommend Liz and The Paperbag to anyone! We will be coming back for future stationary needs.

Liz was awesome! I looked online and even considered a DIY wedding invitation. So thankful I looked on weddingwire for locations in Allentown for invitations. The Paperbag was on there and after reading the reviews I considered stopping in... Well, I wasn't even there 10 mins and Liz had huge books of cards to page through for us and once I told her I wanted a certain design ... My invitations were selected and a proof was ordered! I highly rec'd anyone to visit for invitation needs.

Liz and staff were extremely helpful when it came to assisting me in finding the perfect wedding invitations! There were so many options to choose from and Liz was able to point us to wonderful choices after we explained what we were looking for. The invitations were absolutely beautiful and are guests were very impressed! Additionally, she was there for us throughout the process, including the week of the wedding when we needed name cards, music sheets, and ceremony programs printed. She helped us right away! The PaperBag did an absolutely beautiful job on my invitations! They were willing to work with some additional materials (ribbon and lace) which I provided and incorporated them into the invitations. We had a tight timeline and everything got done quickly. The invitations were just stunning!

I was very pleased with my entire experience with Liz and her company, The Paperbag. I ordered my invitations, thank you cards and place cards through The Paper Bag and everything came out on time and exactly how I expected. Liz was extremely helpful when it came to finding the right items in my price range. I especially liked that she was able to use the same font and ink color throughout my various different items. If you are unsure about proper wording for invitations and proper timing for when to send everything out, Liz has some great advice without being "pushy." I would highly recommend using the Paperbag for a stress-free experience!

I was very fortunate to order my wedding invitations from The Paperbag. The owner, Liz, was incredibly helpful, professional, informative, and very patient throughout the process! I knew I wanted something classic and simple but... aside from that, I was not sure how else to explain what I was looking for. She allowed us to review books upon books of invitations to help me find my ideal invitation.

Not only was I able to find the PERFECT invitation, but Liz provided us with support as we determined the best wording for our invitations and how to address our envelopes. She was very helpful as we made small changes to our invitations and even suggested a calligrapher nearby to address our envelopes. Liz and all the employees at The Paperbag made the start of our wedding planning process so easy while also being helpful with the smallest of details. Thank you, Liz and thank you, Paperbag!

The paperbag offers a great selection. I live an hour and a half away and it only took one trip there to pick out my invitations. Then they were mailed to me at my home. It was all very easy and the owner was extremely helpful

I was very happy with my experiences with The Paperbag. I got my wedding invitations, thank you cards, table names, and placecards done through this store. Liz, the owner, is very helpful and professional. She will let you go through books of invitations and will help you find the perfect set for your wedding. She is also good with etiquette and knows the proper things to say on your invitations, how to address your invitations, etc. She worked very dilligently with us to get the exact placecards my fiance wanted. I found it very helpful to have The Paperbag handle all my wedding stationery as it made my wedding planning a lot easier. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the good products and personal attention. I highly recommend The Paperbag!

Liz is the consummate professional, and she offers gorgeous products. I am a big fan of stationery and paper products, so I knew that invitations were the one area where I wanted to splurge. We made an expensive order of the highest-quality invitations, but were greeted with production delays on the manufacturing side.

Liz was a committed and passionate advocate for us to the company, and even went so far as to fully compensate us when our order was late (due to the manufacturer, not the Paper Bag). She also took to time to address, stamp, and mail all of our invitations beautifully (even the international ones!).

I received many, many compliments on my invitations and my thank you notes, which I also ordered from Liz (seriously, you guys, they were GORGEOUS).

Cannot recommend her highly enough. As a bride, it was wonderful to be able to count on Liz to get the job done (beautifully) and not have to haggle or stress about the production delays myself. Liz completely took all of that on, and stood 100% behind her work and her name.

The Paperbag has an incredibly huge selection of wedding invitations, in all price ranges and every style you could think of! My husband and I were going to print our own invitation but we were able to find beautifully simple invitations for almost the same cost as printing ourselves! The experience was wonderful and easy!

I wanted beautiful wedding invitations and was willing to spend a decent amount of money on them and I couldn't have been happier with the finished product. Liz was so helpful and went through several books of wedding invitations with me one on one until I found the perfect one. She made sure every last detail of the invitation was discussed before they were printed and when she found out that the invitation I originally ordered was no longer available, she helped me find a new one that was almost exactly the same. We also ordered our thank you cards from The Paperbag. I was so pleased with my experience there!

I used The Paper Bag for my invitations, place cards, programs, and room gift bags. I was completely happy with the outcome of each product that I ordered. The Paperbag was wonderful! I went in asking for a letterpress invitation with a damask or floral motif, and they were able to show me multiple options. We ended up selecting the first invitation that they showed us, and we were able to customize the wording, the color on the invitations and RSVP cards (we also used pictures of a cow, a chicken and a pea pod instead of listing out the dinner entrees - it was a big hit!) The invitations came in right away, and they were beautiful! They printed all of the envelopes for us as well, which made the invitations that much less stressful. I would recommend The Paperbag to anyone getting married in the Lehigh Valley!

In 2007, our elder daughter chose the Paperbag for her wedding invitations; it was the right choice - great selection and super attention to customer. Five years on, when our younger daughter needed the wedding invitations, the obvious choice was Paperbag. Once again, Liz did an awesome job: understanding what the bride wants, helping with the selections, setting up time line for ordering various items, and following up with e-mails and calls. Our order included wedding invitations, the wedding program and the place cards. For us, the topper was addressing and mailing the invitations - one less worry! I can't say enough about Liz and the Paperbag. I only had a short time to plan my wedding and the Paperbag came to my rescue. The quality of the invitation and thank you notes was impeccable, something I couldn't have picked online. They also addressed and mailed the invitations and everything went off perfectly. Liz even provided a guest checklist to keep track of thank you's, etc. The Paperbag is the only place I will go for my paper needs. I highly recommend it!

We used The Paperbag for our Save-the-Dates, Invitations and Place cards. Liz and her staff were extremely helpful and patience with us as we tried to find the right combination of stationary for our event. They were also able to coordinate our order with a local calligrapher which added a nice touch to our pieces. Would highly recommend.

We worked with Liz at The Paperbag and had a great experience. I live in VA and our wedding was in PA so my mom was my point person on this. The Paperbag was very patient and helpful as my mom sent me images and ideas over the phone. We were very pleased with the quality of our invitations and they were such great value! We even had a minor issue with the font color being wrong (by fault of the vendor, not The Paperbag) and the Paperbag quickly worked to resolve the issue and get our invitations reprinted free of charge. My mother-in-law also ordered my bridal shower invitations from here and had a great experience. I highly recommend the Paperbag!

Liz at the Paperbag patiently guided me through the entire wedding invitation maze for my daughter's recent wedding. She is a very knowledgeableprofessional - not just about her products but also about sources for anything having to do with planning and executing events. The table in the back of her shop I deemed to be "wedding central" and anyone planning a wedding should not only sit at the table to order invitations and thank you's but also spend a while to get some wise, tried and true planning advice.

My invitations were beautiful!!! The Paperbag talked me through every step so I didn't miss a detail! They also printed my envelopes that looked like a calligrapher had done! They were top notch and GREAT Quality! They work within your price range and provide attention to detail and great customer service! I loved working with Liz and Alida (spelling)! Liz was so quick to answer my emails and sooo helpful!!! She has the eye and knows what will look great and elegant! I was so happy with my invitations! The Paperbag was great! We did not have a huge budget for invitations but they worked with us and we found ones that we absolutely loved and would feel comfortable paying for. The outcome was amazing. They have so many options that you are bond to find something within your price range and something that will satisfy your needs.
We had a small problem with the printers but Liz took care of it and everything worked out. We wouldn't have even known that is how good she was at dissolving the situation.
I would definitely use their services again.

Our invitations were fabulous and affordable! We received some many complements on them as well as our mass programs. Liz is professional, personable, and won me over! We have since ordered our Wedding Thank Yous and Christmas Cards!

I would highly recommend that if it's in your budget to have professionals do your wedding invitations - do so. I think people underestimate the amount of time and effort invitations, place cards, and thank you notes take. I think in the end you actually save yourself time, money and most of all your sanity by having professionals take over. I can't say enough about Liz and Elaine. Not only did they anticipate changes and the unexpected that I had no clue about, but they were always flexible and everything was beautiful. They are also experts in wedding etiquette so don't be afraid to ask questions. They have a ton of invitations to choose from and I was also able to order a unique guest book and engraved pen there. They have everything you need and are extremely helpful. Anytime I need invitations for any event I will know exactly where to go.

I was skeptical of using The Paperbag for my wedding invitations at first. I thought they would be too expensive. Well I was wrong! When comparing them to online prices, they were very comparable, sometimes even cheaper than what I found online. The quality of the paper and the details in them were phenomenal! Liz, the owner, was always available when I needed her. She took the time to explain everything to me, from proper wording to timelines as to when to send them out. She has thousands of samples to choose from..much easier than ordering samples online. I would definitely recommend The Paperbag to anyone needing invites, programs, etc.

Liz and team did an excellent job on our invitations! They answered all of our questions when we didn't know what the proper way to do things was. There was a little blip, we received someone else's direction cards!. Liz re-printed ours and since they were closing, she was kind enough to meet me at David's Bridal (was there shopping), so I didn't have to drive to Allentown (I live in Bethlehem), not a long drive, but was very nice of her. We went back to Paper Bag to have a 'Welcome to Our Wedding' notes printed up for our out of town guest snack bags. We worked together to come up with the prefect message, and they printed it on paper I bought from Party City - MUCH CHEAPER than purchasing something like an invitation and having them printed up! Quality of Service is a 4.5 just b/c of the wrong direction cards placed in our box, but I should have checked before I left the store (I only looked at the invitation and was ahh'ing and oo'ing over how pretty). I made it a 5 since Liz met me to bring me the correct cards! 4.5 for Value only b/c I think eveything should be cheaper;) Jose and I thank You Paper Bag Team!

The Paperbag is a must!

Liz was great to work with in helping us choose the best design for our wedding invitations. She gave us so much of her attention and time to help us not only choose a special and personal invitation, but she was very honest too in helping us make the best decisions . Our guests raved about how elegant yet timeless the invitations were. I had contemplated just ordering invitations online....but my experience with The PaperBag and working face-to-face with someone convinced me that working with them in person truly will help you the best. We love the quality of the invitations and for the price, we were VERY pleased with them!

I purchased my wedding invitations from the Paperbag and I'm very pleased with my experience and purchases. At my appointment, I was provided books upon books of invitations, which was overwhelming at first but once I explained my ideal invitation to them, they quickly leafed through the books to find examples that best matched it and the process became that much easier. I was a bit surprised to see that they still hand write the wording for the invitation, but it didn't affect their service so I was fine with that. I really appreciated that they were knowledgeable of proper wording etiquette.

The PaperBag has a FANTASTIC and quite varied assortment of all types of wonderful stationary to choose from. When my favorite stationer closed up her business, she informed me that Liz at The Paper Bag would now be carrying all of her unique specialty papers...so I took the trip to Allentown. And it was so worth the trip!

Having a destination wedding, we wanted invitations that would speak to what we were planning for all of our guests. What we found was the perfect entree for the events to come. Thanks very much to Liz and her professional and expert eye!

I went to The Paperbag for our invitations, place cards, and thank you notes. When we told them what we were looking for, they kept handing us books that were nothing like what we had asked for. The one woman stood over us eating pretzels in our ears. We finally found what we were looking for. We purchased them during a 20% off sale. We were told that they would be in within a few weeks and the owner, Liz, said they never take that long. The time frame came and passed without a phone call. Finally, we called and were told they weren't in because it took her longer to submit our order because she was busy. Understandable that you're busy, but we have a time frame to get the invitations out and we were told a time frame that was acceptable for that and it was ignored. When we got our invitations, we were told that the postage would be more expensive. We had chosen the ones we did because we were told that they would not be extra postage. The owner then argued with me that they would NEVER tell someone that - turns out they told a co-worker of mine the exact same thing.
The time came for our place cards to be printed. My now husband went to pick them up and did not look at them when he picked them up. He brought them home and I looked at them - there was a printer line through them. They looked ridiculous. My husband called her and told her and she agreed to call the company and have a new set overnighted and she re-printed all of our placecards and refunded the cost to print the place cards (about $50).
I would recommend going to The Paperbag to look through their books. Find which invitations you would like and write down the carrier and product number. Even with the 20% discount, I found that we overpaid for the invitations.
