Kat, the owner of Papermint press is incredible. She helped make custom notes for my bridesmaids in the color theme. Helped design our paper suite and took an hour and a half in person to allow my mother and I to explore her store, feel the texture of the papers and discuss what we were looking for. She hand watercolored each of our invitations to make each one unique and special and placed gold foil down.
Kat is great at communication, she goes above and beyond to proof everything, get feedback, ask questions and provide options if you are having difficulty making decisions. Her calligraphy is STUNNING! Our guests at the wedding were blown away at the ceremony booklets, their menus, the escort card (which were pictures of all our guests in black and white on an acrylic board of their wedding photos), our vow books, our thank you notes were a dream.
My mom and I are paper snobs and Kat appreciates the fine details and you can tell she loves what she does for each couple. -

What a pleasure experience to work with! We designed our invitations down to every last detail with the exact colors and style we wanted, and it was BEAUTIFUL. Modern and clean! Thanks Kat!

We were referred from Love Anne Joy and Kat from Paper Mint Press is amazing! From Day 1 she thoroughly went through the process and she is proactive and the communication with her was wonderful!
1. They made our Save The Dates, and we were absolutely pleased! Simple, yet modern and chic! Beautiful, creative, and high quality.
2. The Wedding Invitations -Beautiful, creative, and STUNNING. We were so excited, and it was exactly what we wanted, and probably more than we expected (which is absolutely amazing). Wax Seals? YES! Kat has them and it can be customized. We are obsessed.
3. Day of Accessories – what a DREAM! From the Signage (including “precautionary measures for COVID”), table numbers, menu, and the programs! We were over and beyond and it was totally worth it.
Overall – Even during a pandemic, Kat was so patient and understanding with us. We genuinely enjoyed Paper Mint Press because she is THE BEST as it was a smooth planning process. Its challenging times for sure, but we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Paper Mint Press as she will work with you and “flexible” is the key word to an amazing and excellent vendor to make your dreams come true! We would totally hire them again for ANY special occasion event!

Artistic & Unique Wedding Invitations
I was a fan of Kat and Emil's work long before I was engaged, so when I did get engaged, I already knew who to go to for our wedding invitations. Planning a wedding can be stressful for couples, but with Kat and Emil's easygoing personalities and professionalism, they made this part easy. We had calls to talk about what we had in mind, but pretty much let Kat use her creativity to design it.
We were having a travel-themed wedding and wanted to have a boarding pass style invitation suite. Kat absolutely NAILED IT with the design! She even hand-drew a map of the Bay Area with recognizable landmarks and also our venue and hotel. Kat even included a scannable QR code on the boarding pass where our guests can use their phone to access our wedding website...how cool is that?! The invitation suite itself is a unique art piece, so I had it framed and is hanging on our wall!
I cannot express how happy I was to work with Kat and Emil, and to have them be a part of such an integral part of our special day. The unique invitations came out so beautiful and we received so many compliments from our guests! I hope to do more business with Paper Mint Press for our future life events! -

Kate Sent on 07/28/2018Kat was so wonderful to work with! We came across her when desperately searching for alternatives to standard-made wedding invitations available online and in stores. I liked certain elements of different things we had seen, but nothing was exactly as I had envisioned for my wedding invitations. To add to the stress, I was planning my wedding from Chicago and only had a few days left in California before heading back. She immediately responded to my inquiry and was able to schedule a last-minute meeting before I left for Chicago. She listened to my vision, and then turned it into life! She was so easy to work with, open to my input, and shared her work with me each step of the process. The end result was absolutely stunning. Thank you Kat for helping make my wedding such a dream!

She used high quality materials and makes sure everything was exactly as we wanted it. We used a custom photo on the front of our invitation and they turned out perfect! Kat is really professional, super easy to work with and produces top quality work. I'd recommend her to everyone for wedding stationary, business cards or anything else. She's awesome! -

She had the best prices out of all the people we received quotes from, and her work was awesome. We loved her so much, we went back to her for our programs, place cards, and rehearsal invitations. User1494974 Sent on 01/04/2014Kat was incredible to work with on my letterpress invitations. I had very little experience with this type of thing and she guided me through everything. She was also very fairly priced and even rushed my order for me b/c I had waited too long to order due to my lack of knowledge in how long letterpress can take. In the end she delivered a beautiful and timely product that turned out even better than I had imagined. I would absolutely recommend The Paper Mint Press. -

Debbie Sent on 11/19/2013In this day and age where most people print their own invitations or choose from a mass market design, it's refreshing to see real art and talent go into designing a personalized invitation.
When we first met with Kat to discuss ideas, my husband (!) and I talked about how we love music, as well as how we got engaged at the Coachella Valley Music Festival, underneath a prominent piece of art that was on display. From there, Kat took off with the design and integrated the iconic Coachella landscape, the art piece, and our love of music. After corresponding back and forth to finalize the wording (I wanted to have a concert poster-type feel), we received a letterpressed wedding invitation that our guests loved. LOVED. Some guests did not want to return their RSVP because they wanted to keep the entire invitation suite. In the end, the invitation represented us so well in a beautiful, fun, artistic way.
Here's what made the invitation even more awesome: the design enabled us to incorporate the Coachella theme into our wedding reception. Without Kat's design, our reception as a whole would not have been as amazing as it turned out.

User1085040 Sent on 02/05/2013I am thankful I found Paper Mint Press! I called numerous companies, but Kat was most helpful, and extremely creative. She designed my wedding invitation exactly how I imagined it. Not only did my invitations turn out beautiful but they worked extra hard to get them to me quick!!! I procrastinated in ordering them, and thankfully they were able to get them to me fast!!!
