    An incredibly helpful and smooth experience

    We started working with Jessica from the New York Wedding Company a few months before our wedding, and she was absolutely essential in getting us over the finish line. She got all of our vendors on the same page, scheduled walkthroughs, helped us trouble-shoot and finalize elements of the wedding we were struggling with, mapped out the entire day minute-by-minute, took charge of countless logistical details and tasks, and generally kept everything and everyone on track. Through the whole process she was always professional and personable, reminding us what needed doing but also guiding us through surprises and challenges as they arose.

    I hired Monique from the NY Wedding Company as my Day of Coordinator for my wedding and I could not have made a better choice! I booked a day of coordination and even though the wedding was 3 months away, Monique frequently checked-in to see if there was anything I needed help with. She attended vendor meetings, and was a great resource at them.

    When I reviewed all the wedding details with the NY Wedding Co before the wedding, I felt confident they would execute on the vision perfectly-- and they did! At the ceremony, Monique managed décor set-up and the reception room looked stunning! During the wedding I didn't stress about anything because Monique handled everything in conjunction with the reception hall staff.

    Hiring the NY Wedding Company was one of the best investments I made for my wedding! If you're looking for a company to plan your wedding with meticulous detail, I highly recommend them-- and ask for Monique!

    Jessica of The New York Wedding Company did an amazing job planning my wedding and helping me coordinate every detail from start to finish. Jessica and her team were incredibly warm and professional throughout our work together. Jessica assisted me in all aspects of wedding planning and was consistently available in person and by phone. Jessica and I worked together over a course of one year throughout which she helped me with everything including contracts, floor plans and decorations. I would recommend Jessica and The New York Wedding Company to any bride looking for support in planning her wedding. I want to give a special thank you to Jessica of The New York Wedding Company and Cindy Peters, my awesome day of coordinator for making sure every detail of my wedding day was perfect!

    When I first starting planning my wedding I was trying to do everything myself, but I quickly realized that I would need help the day of the wedding. Hiring The New York Wedding Company and Jessica to be my Day of Coordinator was the best decision I made! My husband and I were married on August 25, 2012 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Not only was she there the day of the wedding; coordinating with all vendors, but during the planning process she was always available and willing to give a recommendation, do research on vendors, or just send a nice note to me to assure me that everything was taken care of. Thankfully, Jessica was able to help us find our Officiant (who we just loved), and musicians for the ceremony.

    The day of the wedding Jessica and her staff were completely on point and professional. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She is so kind and warm and just a pleasure to work with. Best of all she was reasonably priced and always will to meet or speak at a time that work for both me and my husband. I felt like she was always focused on my wedding and I know that things would not have gone as smoothly and flawlessly if Jessica was not part of our day. Thanks so much Jess!!

    AMAZING!!! I don’t know where to begin. My husband and I met with Jessica, the owner of New York Wedding Co. a few months before our wedding. I, as every woman does, wanted my wedding day to go perfectly but being that I had so much on my plate workwise, I just didn’t know when I’d have the time to think through details, timelines, and everything else that goes into planning a wedding. I was feeling overwhelmed. And then we met Jessica. First, let me say that meeting Jessica is like meeting an old friend that you’ve known your entire life. We felt SO at ease with her and I knew instantly that I could trust her with the most important day of our lives.
    I had known for months that attempting to do it all on my own was going to be stressful but being on such a tight budget, I felt I didn’t have a choice. The more I thought about it, the more I knew that the LAST thing the bride should be worrying about the days leading up to her wedding, especially the day of, is every single detail, timeline, and whereabouts of every vendor.
    Jessica sat down with us, listened to us and did her homework after every meeting. As the date approached, Jessica met with us every weekend, at our convenience, to go over every detail to ensure nothing was missed.
    The night before the wedding arrived. Our ceremony was in Central Park and there was Jessica and her entire security team the evening before handing everyone in my wedding party their individual wedding day timeline, her security team was on site to ensure that they knew the entire layout.
    The day of the wedding came and I knew that I had nothing to worry about with Jessica and her team at work. Her security team was at the site early and everything went better than I ever could have imagined. Everything at the ceremony was set up so beautifully and the evening went just as planned. I had my dream wedding and I thank Jessica for making it a reality!

    I was one of those brides that thought that I could do everything on my own. From putting up my chuppah to putting centerpieces on my tables, all while, getting dressed, putting on make-up, and taking pictures. So, I will be the first one to admit that all brides need a little help…and not just on their wedding day, but along the planning process as well. Jessica is the best wedding planner out there. Throughout the planning process, Jessica was extremely professional and helpful. I know we wouldn't have been able to plan the same event, with the same success, without her. Right away she took over talking to and all logistics issues with all the vendors. This meant I did not have to talk to 10 different vendors every week. I just had one meeting with Jessica every few weeks and she let me know all the things that were handled and I let her know any special requirements I had from the vendors. The rest was up to her. This was one of the biggest stress relievers. Jessica kept track of every last detail and anticipated potential issues before they even came up. She also came up with a timeline and distributed to all the vendors and made sure that things went according to plan. She also made a timeline for the bridal party, which worked perfectly for us. Her team assembled our chuppah and put out all our decorations, from centerpieces, to candles, to parasols, hand fans, favors, reserving parking across the street for the guests, etc. They sure were busy bees. Jessica will go above and beyond for your wedding. We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding, knowing that Jessica would be there to iron out any issues that came up. Jessica is fun, energetic and talented. I am extremely glad I used her services and would recommend her to any brides or grooms planning a wedding.

    When my fiancé first proposed, I went from being surprised and grateful, to feeling completely panicked. “What now? What’s next?” I always knew that I wanted to get married and had a vague idea of what that day would look like – classy & romantic but not too traditional. However, I didn’t know where to start. That’s where Jessica of The New York Wedding Company came in. The first thing she helped us do was to define our wedding style. I’d already begun collecting magazine clippings and images of things I liked which was a big help. From that she classified the look and feel of what we wanted as Modern Romantic. That theme helped us to decide on a venue, centerpieces, and my dress just to name a few.
     
    Throughout the process, Jessica came with us to meet and establish working relationships with all of our vendors, helped us with details like selecting wedding favors and gifts, and kept a running checklist of to do’s up to our wedding day. These services were priceless!
     
    There are many things that can make a wedding memorable, but timing was the key to our successful wedding day. Jessica created a schedule for the wedding party and all of our vendors from the coordination of the church personnel to the photographer, florist, and activities at the reception. Overall the investment was worth it.  I’m a type A personality and it felt great to hand all the responsibilities over to someone I could trust – Jessica and the New York Wedding Company. The proof is in the pudding as they say.  Jessica helped us create a happy wedding day with a happy & calm bride!
