This was such a beautiful setting to hold my reception. There were never ending photo opportunities and the staff was always very responsive.

I had the most amazing wedding at The McGarity House. We immediately fell in love with the venue the very first time we saw it online. We instantly set up a tour and signed a contract that day! Our ceremony and reception was amazing and we could not have done it without Melita, the coordinator. She is awesome and so fun to work with. I recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding!!

I share the sentiments of all previous reviews! Melita was so easy to work with, and informative. The place is absolutely gorgeous, with a brand new ballroom that provided the perfect reception for us. She and her husband are so personable and helpful. I really cannot say enough awesome things about them!

I want to have a wedding every year, and it would be at the McGarity House.

This venue was simple amazing. A beautiful place to have the BIG day and the service was great! 5 stars all around! I would recommend this place to any bride!

I fell in love with this location as soon as i found them online. The Mcgarity house had everything i was looking for in venue, it was quaint, private, budget friendly and affordable. I wasnt disappointed when visited the location for the first time either, the location was as described on the website and more. When I first met with Melita from the Mcgarity house she was wonderful, very friendly and very easy to work with. After booking the location, Melita was great in responding to any question or concerns i had and worked to accomodate my numerous requests which was just wonderful and saved me $$$. What i loved most about this venue was the flexibility, the warm staff and facilities available to brides. Melita and her crew worked well with my planner Erin and other vendors on the wedding day. They helped with set up and clean up for the ceremony and reception. I had NO problem with the location, utilities, or services the offered. My guests loved the place. I would highly recommend this location.

Melita and her staff were so wonderful and answered all of our questions! From the very beginning they were willing to help us create the perfect wedding day! The house is so incredibly gorgeous, and makes for the best pictures! I will forever recommend The McGarity House!

Being the mother of the bride I wanted it to be perfect for Ashley & David. Melita met us on a Sunday afternoon. It was snowing and very cold. She was very professional and answered all of our questions. The grounds and house are beautiful! They provided quality service and were always quick to respond to the many questions I had over the 10 month planning. The wedding was beautiful and we have had alot of comments on how wonderful and fun the wedding was at The McGarity House.

The McGarity House was beautiful and perfect for a wedding. The were also very reasonable, much cheaper than other venues.

After scouring locations in Athens, Atlanta, Columbus, and La Grange for the right outdoor setting and price, The McGarity House was wonderful and provided the setting (apple orchard aisle!) for my dream wedding at an unbelievably good price!

Melita (and family) was very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile (visits to the site before the wedding, helping set up beyond the contract agreement, quick replies to emails, she even helped direct the wedding processional)! We asked for recommendations on things like hair/make-up, caterers, rentals, and lodging in the area and everything she recommended was spot on! It is a beautiful location and well worth the drive if you, like me, are not local!

Also, her husband, Tristan, catered the rehearsal dinner on site and it was delicious (a very reasonable price as well)!

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Highly recommended!
