I truly don’t even know where to begin—our wedding at the Erlowest was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, but what truly sets Erlowest apart is the incredible staff.
From our very first tour, LeAnna and Laurie made such a lasting impression. They were warm, knowledgeable, and knew how to make our vision come true. Throughout the entire planning process, they were unbelievably responsive—every email and phone call was answered within a day—and they consistently went above and beyond to guide us with their expertise.
LeAnna, our wedding point of contact, is nothing short of amazing. She listened so carefully to everything we envisioned and made sure every detail came to life exactly as we had hoped. She was not only organized and professional, but also incredibly kind and reassuring—an advisor in every sense of the word. I tend to have a lot of questions, and she was always so patient, gracious, and thoughtful in every response. She truly made the entire process feel seamless and brought our dream wedding to life.
Laurie, who handled accommodations, is wonderful. Because our wedding was in June, earlier in the season, she worked so hard to ensure that most of our friends and family could stay on-site. That made such a difference and turned our wedding day into a full wedding weekend, which was so special for us and our guests. Everytime my mom saw Laurie she cried because we were just so happy to see her!
The entire experience felt like a true team effort, and it was clear that every single person at Erlowest gave 100%. Even knowing they host multiple weddings during busy weekends, they made me feel like the most important bride in the world.
And of course—the food was outstanding, and the preferred vendors they recommend are truly top-tier. We had at least 30 guests tell us it was “the best wedding they have ever been to,” and we owe so much of that to the Erlowest team.
My husband and I are already itching to go back. It means so much to us that we now have a place we can return to again and again to relive and celebrate the best day of our lives.
We are beyond grateful to the entire Erlowest team for creating such an unforgettable experience.

My husband and I were lucky enough to book Erlowest as our wedding venue this September and I can’t say enough positive things about it! It was truly the best day of our lives thanks to the lovely staff at Erlowest. The food was out of this world delicious and the service/accommodations left nothing to be desired. Every single person there was so kind and helpful. The venue itself is beyond gorgeous. Leanna and Molly specifically made sure I had absolutely no worries on our big day. We had many tough critics at our wedding and SEVERAL guests reached out to note that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! As a detail-oriented person who values exceptional customer service, I can honestly say that our experience with Molly and LeAnna and the venue in Lake George far exceeded every expectation we had. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking – nestled in the heart of Lake George with panoramic views that made for the most stunning backdrop. LeAnna, Laurie, and the entire Erlowest team did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding. From the very beginning, they were incredibly organized, thoughtful, and friendly — every call and email leading up to our big day was prompt, productive, and reassuring. We truly felt supported every step of the way and are so happy we chose the Erlowest.
On the day itself, everything was flawless. From the golf carts shuttling our guests around the property to the fabulous food and attentive bartenders, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the service and the overall experience.
The property itself is breathtaking — the stunning views and historic charm created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. But what truly set the Erlowest apart was the peace of mind we had, knowing that LeAnna, Laurie, and the rest of the team were managing every detail behind the scenes. Right from the second we toured the venue we knew this was where we wanted our wedding!
After booking our date we were introduced to Jaimee. She was truly great to work with from start to finish. Anytime I sent an email with a question she responded within a day. Never once did I have to follow up on anything. I couldn’t have been more happy with the communication and service.
The day of our wedding ended up being the most perfect day. We dropped off a ton of decor for the team to set up and everything was set up perfectly. We literally felt like we were the king and queen being driven around in golf carts to all the locations and listening to Jaimee and LeAnna talk on their headsets!
Aside from the venue being absolutely gorgeous the food was fantastic. The packages include so much that your guests will definitely not leave hungry.
We had so many guests tell us at the end of the night our wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! We couldn’t have been happier. The only problem is that we wish we could do it all over again!

Best Night Ever!

Fairytale Wedding Venue on Lake George
My Husband and I got married at the Inn at Erlowest in October 2023. We always knew our wedding day would be amazing, but it seriously wouldn’t have been the same if we hadn’t chosen to have our wedding at the Inn at Erlowest. My family has gone to Lake George my whole life, so I always knew getting married up there was the dream, and as soon as we stepped foot at Erlowest we knew we found the most amazing place. First of all, the venue is breathtaking and the accommodations on site were so convenient to have, and so well kept! What really stole our hearts though, was the team of people they have. Jaimie was our coordinator throughout the process of wedding planning, as well as LeAnna, and they seriously took care of everything for us. I would have been so stressed, but with them everything was easy! If there was any hiccup on the wedding day, we never knew about it because everything was handled that perfectly. I could rave about the team all day. And the food! Seriously everything was delicious from cocktail hour to the entrees. My husband and I would choose this venue and this team to work with time and time again if we had to do it all over. The Inn at Erlowest and the team there will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we are looking forward to going back for years to come for anniversaries, special occasions, etc. Do yourself a favor and book your wedding with this wonderful team!!!The Inn at Erlowest's reply:

The Erlowest is THE BEST location for a wedding on Lake George. Once we visited this venue we looked no further. Our wedding coordinator was Jaimee and she was a rockstar and did the best job keeping everything organized and kept us on track all those months/weeks leading up to the day. On the day of the wedding the staff never skipped a beat and everything was extremely well coordinated between all our vendors. We opted to have our ceremony at the north pointe to have the views of the lake but had the comfort of knowing that should the weather not hold up it would still be a gorgeous setting to get married under the canopied courtyard. Also highly recommend renting the Miss Erlowest. The entrance of the groom and groomsmen is epic and photos of us on the boat are some of my favorite from the day. Captain Ron was so awesome and not a hair was out of place when we came back from our short cruise!The Inn at Erlowest's reply:

We had the pleasure of working with LeAnna as our wedding coordinator and Laurie for all our accommodations at the Inn and Sun Castle Resort. Both LeAnna and Laurie were amazing. They made planning a wedding for 130 guests seamless. LeAnna made the planning process a breeze as she checked in regularly and gave us a timeline which made the planning much easier. She and her team went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. They made sure we had everything we needed, set up the ballroom, centerpieces, candy bar, and floral arrangements for the ceremony. I did not have to worry about anything other then getting myself ready. Everyone raved about the food including the wedding cake made by Lake George Baking Company. To end the night we surprised our guests with fireworks. They were spectacular! Overall, If you are looking for a picture perfect venue with top of the line professionals I would not look any further. The best wedding venue!!!
Our wedding day was a DREAM!! We are so glad we booked with the Inn at Erlowest. It is the PERFECT venue for family traveling in to stay close together and enjoy the special weekend. The Inn and the Suncastle had great rooming options, our guests loved it!
The bridal suite is so comfy and fun. We loved the couches, the balcony and the natural lighting.
The lakefront ceremony option is beautiful, but the patio ceremony ended up being our favorite location. It was so intimate, still gave the lake backdrop, and looked so beautiful for photos.
Reception room is breathtaking. LeAnna decorated just as we had discussed, and worked so closely with our other vendors to make sure our vision came to life.
Food was amazing - all the way from cocktail hour to our late night bites. Guests were pleased!

My husband and I had the most perfect wedding experience at the Inn at Erlowest. We are so happy that we found this phenomenal venue. We selected the Inn for a unique wedding experience that wasn't cookie cutter like a lot of the venues out there. The Inn is very charming and has a lot of vintage characteristics that we fell in love with. We also picked the Inn for the food as every review was so complimentary of the dining experience and we wanted to ensure that our guests would have delicious meal options. I cannot not say enough great things about our experience, especially working with LeAnna Avila and Laurie Jones, as they are quite the dream team and so professional. They ensured that our day went off without a hitch and for that we are incredibly grateful. For our big day, we rented the Grand Ballroom, and it was absolutely perfect for 150 guests. We rented the side patio space with the fireplace as well as we didn't want any non-guests around during our big day. We had originally intended to get married at the North Pointe, if the weather would permit but the day of, we decided to go with the Courtyard space due to weather forecasting concerns and we're so glad that we ended up getting married in the Courtyard instead. It was the best call and made for quite the intimate ceremony experience. You can't go wrong with either option. We rented the Miss Erlowest boat for pictures as well. Ladies, make sure your hair is securely sprayed before venturing out on Miss Erlowest! Cocktail hour on the patio outside of the Grand Ballroom was absolutely magical. The Inn was SO accommodating and responsive to all requests and asks. LeAnna and Laurie thought of things that we never would have thought of ourselves. We also rented out all of the rooms in the Inn so we could take over the venue fully for our experience. I highly recommend that you fill all rooms in the Inn itself for a more private experience. If not, you risk the possibility of non-wedding guests staying at the Inn complaining about noise, etc. Our crew hung out on the side patio after our rehearsal dinner and had such a great night, it was so nice having the place all to ourselves. LeAnna is essentially a member of the wedding SWAT team as that woman has every aspect of wedding day execution down to a science (headset and all). I was so grateful for her and her guidance leading up to the wedding and throughout our big day. She made me feel so comfortable and cared for, especially moments when I was feeling nervous, I would just follow LeAnna's lead. Everything was timed perfectly with LeAnna as our guide. The hospitality was unmatched. All staff members were amazing and very accommodating. When we dropped all of the wedding items off at the Inn the day before, I noticed that a piece of our custom cake topper was broken, and Laurie was so amazing and fixed it for us with superglue. The day of was seamlessly executed, our guests were so very impressed with their experience at the Inn. The champagne greeting upon arrival was a nice touch that I'm glad we included, the sign outside of the Inn was customized with our names on it, the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, a year later and our guests are still raving about it. After the ceremony, we went to sign our marriage license and the staff immediately brought us a full plate of hors D'oeuvres and our signature drinks (which were made to perfection). I could go on and on. The Inn truly made us feel like celebrities on our big day and I wish we could relive it over and over again. LeAnna was amazing! I would send an email and she promptly responded- even on the weekends. Any time that I sent an email or called her, she always made me feel relaxed. There were a few glitches on my end and I presented them to her and she always worked with me and took care of my mistakes with ease and professionalism. There was not one moment on the day of my wedding where I became nervous because I felt like LeAnna was always there and prepared to handle anything. The attention to detail was amazing. All aspects of the food were taken to a higher level than expected. The filets were cooked to perfection and easily able to slice with a butter knife! I would highly recommend the confectionary station. People are still talking about it! After the wedding I was also pleasantly surprised that there was a team of people to break everything down and put back in the boxes so I didn't have to do it in the morning. We had a Thursday September 2022 wedding.
We are a gay couple and fell in love with The Inn at Erlowest the second we arrived for our tour. LeAnna was our venue coordinator all the way from the first meeting and was a tremendous help every step of the way. Erlowest provides the wedding menu, linens, tasting menu, bakes the custom wedding cake, includes bar service, and provides a complimentary wedding night suite at the Inn. The property, ballrooms, and Inn are GORGEOUS! We opted-in for the Miss Erlowest boat ride, which made for a relaxing and romantic touch.The Inn at Erlowest's reply:

The Inn at Erlowest was our dream venue, we originally fell in love with the views, but the whole wedding package turned out to be amazing. Staff were busy leading up to the day, but always responded eventually & we’re fully dedicated to us and our guests the day of, which I appreciated. We paid extra for the boat and night time snack and it was TOTALLY worth it. Food was amazing, even the wings, pizza & pretzels. The best thing about this venue and the staff, was their ability to notice things that completely slipped my mind. For example, we had a heart shaped LED light with our initials that we wanted to hang up or put somewhere. I completely forgot to pack things to display it. But by the time I walked into the ballroom, it was already hung up beautifully, I was so happy & it looked so good. Not only that, but everything that I had dropped off was displayed and ready to go. Venue was beyond our expectations!
From the moment we walked on property and met with LeAnna we all knew this was the venue to have our daughter‘s wedding! LeAnna was exceptional to work with! She made our 7 month wedding planning process such a breeze! The magical day itself was spectacular and we couldn’t of asked for anything more. The magnificent lakeside setting is truly magical. The staff at Erlowest is eloquent, experienced and professional meeting exceeding all of our needs. Our guests are still telling us that they had a fabulous time. Best wedding ever! If you are considering this venue - think no further. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. Beyond the natural beauty of Lake George and the Inn - the staff at the Inn at Erlowest is phenomenal. They are detailed oriented, organized and kind. They take care of thinking about all the details for you and ensure every aspect of your day runs smoothly. Words cannot do the beauty of this venue justice! When I found them online I just knew I had to get married there. From the walkthrough to the tasting to the wedding day everything was perfect. We worked with LeAnna who could not have been more professional and helpful with every step. When originally looking I hesitated to get married somewhere where they hold so many weddings/events, but the Erlowest really makes you feel so special. My family rented out the entire Inn so it really felt like a mansion just for us for the weekend! We had to postpone our August 2020 wedding to May 2021 and again LeAnna could not have been kinder or more accommodating. They allowed us to hold our new date and wait until we were 30 days out to make the call, which is something that I know other couples during that time did not have the luxury of doing. The team on the wedding day was so put together and professional and everything ran so incredibly smoothly. Lastly, the Erlowest is such an amazing option as they have an incredible spot to get married in case of rain which still has an open view of the amazing lake and mountains, which was a huge selling point for me! The food was amazing as well - we got so many compliments. They are just a no-stress amazing venue to work with!! Can't wait to visit again for anniversaries in the future. -

Dream come true!
The Inn at Erlowest turned our dream into reality! Planning a wedding is stressful & with the Covid-19 pandemic, it makes planning a wedding even more stressful! LeAnna at Erlowest was by our sides every step up of the way throughout our planning process and made planning a wedding during a pandemic much easier! She went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. The moment we got to the venue the weekend of our wedding, LeAnna & Laurie helped us make sure everything was in place for our big day. We can't thank them both enough! All of our guests can't stop talking about how delicious the food was and how gorgeous the grounds of the venue are. The Inn at Erlowest is a spectacular wedding venue, and we couldn't be happier!
The Inn itself is a beautiful stone mansion with amazing views. The food at our wedding was amazing, and the culinary team was very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions and allergies.
Jordan was a huge asset for our big day. From every small detail to coordinating the big day, she was always available to answer questions and make changes when we changed our mind. On our wedding day, everything flowed flawlessly thanks to Jordan. We could not have executed everything as perfectly as we did without her.

I cannot thank Liz, Alexis, Jordan, and the rest of the staff enough for giving us our dream-come-true wedding at the Inn at Erlowest. From the second we stepped on to the property, with its scenic views of the mountains, Lake George, and the beautiful stone facade of the castle, we fell madly in love with the venue. But what made our day extra special was the team of coordinators who helped us with the planning and decision making every step of the way. Even after months of questions and lengthy emails (on my part!), Liz never wavered, and helped us create our picture-perfect wedding. To say that Liz and the rest of the team did an amazing job would be an understatement, as they took care of every detail with poise and efficiency, even those I had not anticipated. My family and I left our wedding weekend with watery eyes and full hearts, and it is all thanks to the dedication of Liz and the Erlowest team. From our first trip to see the venue to our final meeting The Erlowest was everything we could have imagined. Great people, great service, and a beautiful location to top it off. Jordan and the Erlowest staff were exceptional. Jordan was prompt, tentative, polite, and incredible at what she does. She made the entire experience more enjoyable and we loved working with her. Her accommodating our needs with happiness made it that much more worth it. It is exactly what you would want in a coordinator. Someone you can trust to handle the day of responsibilities and have everything run smoothly. I highly recommend the Inn at Erlowest as a wedding venue. Liz and her team are absolute pros and our entire day went off without a hitch. They were extremely responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire process and worked with us to create our perfect day. My husband and I could not be any happier with the Inn at Erlowest! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we had no issues at all thanks to the staff at Erlowest, most importantly Jordan. Jordan was awesome to work with from day 1. She was always available to answer any questions we had along the way and helped to make everything run smoothly for us for our wedding weekend. The view is amazing, the food was delicious and the people are true professionals who go above and beyond to make your big day perfect! What can we say that hasn't already been said by all of the wonderful reviews about the Inn at Erlowest? Our wedding day was perfect! Jordan and Alexis helped walk us through every last detail, connected with all of our venders and made sure everything went off without a hitch! Throughout the process and on the day of, they were very supportive, and made sure the day was just how we hoped. Any little details we didn't think of they took care of with ease. Book your wedding at The Inn at Erlowest!!! Rain, shine, snow, it doesn't matter because the venue is stunning and has the most incredible view of the the lake. Alexis, our wedding coordinator, was INCREDIBLE! She was always quick to respond to questions (which we had a LOT of) and was always willing to help with any situation we had even if it wasn't part of her job description (such as when we left all of the candles for our rehearsal dinner at home). We had the most PERFECT wedding day (even despite some rain) and wouldn't change a thing!!! Thank you The Inn at Erlowest for the best wedding ever!! No amount of words can describe how Alexis and the WHOLE team at the Inn At Erlowest made our big day the absolute best! From the moment we drove down the hill at our initial appointment, I knew that the Inn would be where we would get married. It is a beautiful location, and the professionalism and quality of service exceeded our expectations. I never felt like I was in a "wedding factory" as their attention for detail always felt personalized and catered to our style. Speaking of catering, the food, was absolutely delicious! When looking for a wedding venue on Lake George, the Inn at Erlowest was quickly to to the top of our list after seeing the gorgeous Inn and hall. The point on the lake was exactly what we wanted for our wedding, but there was a perfect back up plan in case of weather. The very best thing for us was the benefit that all of our family and friends could stay right on sight at Sun Castle Resorts and the Inn! From the moment we met Jordan she was incredibly professional, responsive and made everything as easy as possible for us. Our wedding was nothing short of incredible. I had a few hiccups had to hold things up for a VIP guest - Jordan helped to me keep me and everyone with me calm and reassured. I cannot thank her enough for helping to make my day as stress free, fun, and enjoyable as possible. The food was spectacular. Everyone continues to raved about the entire weekend and wedding day every time we see them. From start to finish the staff made the planning process as easy as they could for us, and made the weekend one to remember and talk about for years to come. Choosing this as your wedding site will be one of the best decisions you make! -

Everyone at the Erlowest was amazing! They pay such attention to detail. The food, the venue, setting up decorations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, they have the perfect Autumn foliage and amazing views of the lake for outstanding wedding pictures. Every employee knew our names, waiters and waitresses knew who was seated at their table and greeted each guest by name! They make your experience their number one priority. Each guest is well taken care of and they bring the extra food from your cocktail hour/reception to your room after the wedding. We had enough to last the next two days we stayed there!
Alexis is outstanding. She knows what she’s doing and is super thorough. She even met with me in person many times leading up to the big day, helped arrange items to fit our budget and kept everyone on track/schedule the day of... all with a smile! She does not pressure you to make any decisions and truly wants each bride to feel their day is unique and special. I legit cried the next day when thanking her and the staff. They were amazing.
I would suggest booking your room at the Erlowest the night before your wedding AND the night of. The only trouble we had is the bride from the night before checked out of her room late, making us fall a little behind. -

They did an amazing job with our small wedding, the staff were very professional, very accommodating and amazing. They definitely know what there doing. They have amazing eye to detail and Julianna was amazing. I wouldn’t change anything about it. It’s a beautiful place. I can not wait to go back for Valentine’s Day and for our anniversary. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. That are very busy when it comes to weddings but they make you feel like yours is the only one. They have multiple spots to have your ceremony and a big ball room, but since we had a small wedding we were in the inns main dinning room and it was just as special. -

Alexis and Laurie and everyone at the Erlowest are absolute wedding pros, super responsive, and fully committed to every single event they pull off (and there are a TON, but they make you feel like yours is the only one.) The food is delicious, the scenery is superb, the drinks are amazing - it's an amazing venue and completely worth it in every way. We look forward to returning for weekend getaways in the future! -

Megan Sent on 06/13/2018We could not have chosen a more perfect venue. I could go on and on about how beautiful the Inn is but what really makes this place stand apart is the staff. Starting with Alexis and the rest of the events team - she really makes the bride and groom feel special. The Inn does multiple weddings most weekends of the summer so having a coordinator that makes you feel like an individual is so important. She was so helpful - coordinating with our other vendors, helping us plan the day, meeting with us through out different stages of the process, and checking in not he day of from the moment my bridal party and I arrived on sight, to bustling my dress at the reception, and checking in at different times of the night.
It's also the little things that the Inn thinks of that really put it over the top for my husband and I. They made the night so personalized with lots of options for table cloths and room set up that were included in the price. We wanted some add ons and the Inn helped find vendors for those as well. They even gave my husband and I a plate of cocktail hour appetizers we didn't get a chance to try during dinner. When we arrived at our complementary wedding suite at the end of the night we found plates with bites of all the food from the night and a piece of wedding cake for us to enjoy (understanding it's hard to get a chance to eat during the day of).
We had the time of our lives. Our guests LOVED the evening and couldn't stop raving about the services. It was perfect. Thank you team! -

We had our wedding on 1/20/18 in gorgeous 45 degree weather with the breathtaking mountains behind the Erlowest as our backdrop. From start to finish, I worked with Juliana as my wedding planner at the Erlowest and was 100% pleased with how everything turned out!
Communication - Juliana, my coordinator, was always responsive and available when I contacted her. We had long email chains throughout the months that allowed us to cover all planning topics and Juliana was always on-top of things. She was great with reminding me about deadlines and paperwork that needed to be done. I did not hire and outside planner and myself and Juliana were able to plan my themed wedding without any trouble.
Venue - The venue is absolutely stunning and looks and feels like you are in a castle. We are very happy that we booked all 10 rooms for the wedding party/family both Friday and Saturday. It felt like a getaway to a gorgeous castle and each room is unique and lovely to stay in. I received many compliments on the rooms and the venue itself. I stayed in the Schuyler suite as my bridal suite and it was the perfect size. I loved going back upstairs at night and taking a nice long bath in the jacuzzi tub with my new husband. The reception hall is equally beautiful with plenty of room for my 155 guests. We chose the tuscan-style bridal table so that we sat with the bridal party and not by ourselves. This made the room even more special as we were able to be surrounded by our friends and family. The dance floor was a perfect size as well with plenty of room if you have a big wedding. We also had room in the back for a photo booth which was a big hit. Even though it was winter, we had multiple heat lamps and fire tables outside so people could enjoyed the reception hall as well as the outdoor patio. Everyone loved the venue and I couldn't have found a better place. -

Everything from the setting, to the service to the food was best of the best. 1) Alexis is an absolute ROCK STAR. From start to finish she is helpful, thoughtful and responsive. So detail oriented and organized. She comes through with everything she promises and more. 2) The service of the staff is incredible. Hotel management, waitstaff, grounds keepers, everyone- they were all so friendly and helpful. I seriously felt like a princess all day long. I can't image getting better service in my life. 3) The food is absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef. We received so many compliments about how great the food was. 4) The setting and venue itself. Really...how can you beat it??? Absolutely stunning. -

We couldn't have asked for a better place for the best day of our lives. From the very beginning while scheduling, to numerous phone calls for logistics, to the day of our ceremony, Erlowest was extremely responsive, accommodating, and helpful. It was incredible how there was absolutely no stress on the day of our wedding, as the staff and our expert wedding coordinator LeAnna had everything figured out and nailed down to the minute. Besides the stunning views that cannot be beaten in Upstate New York, the dinner and dessert was delicious, and the accommodations for us and our guests were luxurious. The Erlowest is timeless. We had a lovely time planning our wedding with LeAnna and her team. A lot of things are preset and taken care of for you day of, which is what we were looking for. We rented the Miss Erlowest boat which was a highlight on our day. The day of staff was incredible - there was a very poorly timed 20 minute downpour that drenched us and our guests mid-ceremony. We called an audible and everyone helped out to get our guests towels, moved up to the atrium, and start the ceremony again in a new, standing-room only, dry location. -
