Forever Grateful for the Most Incredible Wedding Experience

We honestly don’t even know where to begin because our experience with this venue was truly unforgettable. From our rehearsal dinner at their chophouse location to our wedding at Flintrock Falls, every single moment felt supported, seamless, and so genuinely cared for.

From the very beginning, everyone we worked with was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They walked us through every step of the planning process and made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and exciting instead. We truly felt like we were in the best hands the entire time.

The grounds were also absolutely beautiful and so well-maintained—it truly added to the magic of the day. You can even see in some of the images how perfectly kept and picturesque everything was, which made such a difference in the overall atmosphere.

So many details were thoughtfully included with the venue—tables and seating, linens, a dance floor, and beautiful real plateware, flatware, and glassware—which made everything feel elevated and effortless. Their team also handled both setup and breakdown for our wedding, which was something we will forever be grateful for.

That level of care meant everything to us. Because of them, our families didn’t have to worry about staying late to clean up or handle logistics—we were all able to simply stay together, soak in every moment, and keep celebrating the happiest day of our lives.

And the food… it was absolutely incredible. We are still hearing from guests that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we couldn’t agree more.

This team went above and beyond in every possible way to make our wedding feel perfect, and we will always be grateful for the role they played in such an important chapter of our lives. We truly cannot recommend them enough.

Rehearsal Dinner

I worked with Samantha and her team for my wedding rehearsal dinner and I cannot recommend them enough. Samantha was so sweet and accommodating, and they went above and beyond in every way possible. The food was outstanding and they helped curate the best vibe for the night of. I highly recommend hosting your event here!

Our Trump Inauguration Party

The ballroom at The Flintrock Country Club was a perfect location for our party. Cassie and Samantha were extremely helpful with providing suggestions for room setup, food options and bar dinks. The response to our questions was very quick and they always added some additional ideas that helped make our event even more memorable. Christina, Blake, Mike, Will and other staff could not have done a better job from serving appetizers and champagne as our guests arrived to providing a full bar experience and excellent meal. They installed a temporary dance floor and we hired a DJ and danced the night away. It was a blast!
We’re already talking about our next celebration to host at The Hill/Flintrock Country Club.

Wonderful Experience Beyond Words

What a hidden treasure we have in the hill country so close to the city of Austin. We just had our daughter's wedding here that everyone is raving about. The location, the scenery, the facility, and most of all, the staff all have been so wonderful. From the moment Ms Reagan Cowell, Director of Private Event Sales, called us back after receiving our inquiry, she helped us all the way through till the successful completion of the wedding. Her professionalism, responsiveness and flexibility made it possible for us to plan and execute the wedding in less than 3 months of time and a stunning success. She's has done a marvelous job, above and beyond her job duty. We can't think of anything to say for them to improve on, and would whole-hearted recommend this venue for any of our friends without reservation. Thank you Reagan, Richard, and everyone of the Hills Clubhouse staff who helped and contributed to the blessing of my daughter and son-in-law's marriage, which will for sure live in many people's memories in addition to theirs forever!

I would definitely recommend The Hills to any couple for their wedding day! Ann Loiselle went above and beyond to make our day perfect and was always available to help me with vendor questions, planning, etc. She made the whole event beautiful and nothing was ever stressful. Ann is literally a dream to work with and the Hills of Lakeway is a beautiful venue. My wedding was absolutely amazing and Ann had everything to do with that! She is quick to respond to e-mails, makes sure everyone is informed, and is so amazing at handling anything you can throw at her.
On the day of my wedding, we had a 90% chance of rain. The backup plan for my outdoor wedding was the amazing (and equally beautiful) waterfall ballroom. Ann's team set the ballroom and the outside area up for the ceremony, so that we could be ready for anything. Eventually the sun came out, Ann's team flipped the ballroom for the reception with no delay and I had my dream outdoor wedding with a beautiful waterfall backdrop. Regardless of the weather, Ann was going to make sure that I had the wedding of my dreams.
Also, the food at the Hills is AMAZING. I had so many guests tell me that it was the best wedding food they had ever had.
The Hills works with a variety of amazing vendors, which you can customize, if you choose. However, the vendor team that the Hills works with regularly is wonderful and such a great value.
In all, the Hills was fantastic. The food is amazing, the vendors are great, the venue is top-notch, and Ann is an angel.

My husband and I had the absolutely BEST wedding experience at The Hills of Lakeway - Hills Clubhouse!!!! My bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite where we were able to relax, drink champagne and enjoy getting ready! The service was AMAZING! They made sure we were always taken care of!! Our wedding coordinator Ann was FANTASTIC!! She paid attention to every littler detail and made sure everything was going smoothly!! All of our guest couldn’t believe how GREAT the food was!! Some even told us it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten!!!! My husband and I and ALL our family and friends had the most incredible time at our wedding!!! EVERYTHING was SPECTACULAR!!!! I’m so glad we picked The Hills of Lakeway to have our wedding!!!!!!!!!

My wife and daughter searched all of Austin for a wedding ceremony (165 guests) and reception. After an extensive search, they decided on Flintrock Falls Clubhouse (Hills of Lakeway for the rehearsal dinner). The advisor for the clubhouse was Ann and she was fantastic. She guided us through the process and made everything seamless. After we made the decision, they upgraded the facilities to a more suitable facility for a wedding. The changes were great and made the experience even better.

On the morning of the Wedding, Ann and her team set up the venue and the results were fantastic. The DJ they recommended was fantastic and kept the guests on the dance floor from the first to last song. We had preselected the food selection to be served and I was expecting average wedding food. I was wrong, it was awesome. We received several complements on the food. The bartenders never had more than two persons deep line (we’ve all been to weddings where the bar is ten deep).
The wedding went perfect, except for a cold front which came in that morning. Ann called us that morning and asked if we wanted to move the service inside, but we decided that the ceremony itself was only 20 minute, so we went with it. It was cold, but it was beautiful.

I you are considering a venue, I fully recommend Flinkrock Falls Clubhouse. We were 100% satisfied with venue, cost and food….not so much with the weather that day.

We had our wedding over the weekend and it was a total success! We weren't sure about the weather but on our wedding day, we ended up having the ceremony outside on the golf course. The grounds of the venue are beautiful and it speaks for itself. We did not need to do or add anything to the ceremony because the background of the falls and trees were amazing on its own. I heard from my guests nothing but great things about this venue, food, staff and DJ recommendation. Ann was wonderful and had to step in last minute as our wedding coordinator since our initial coordinator left. It made us uneasy knowing that we had someone new and had to re-explain our vision to Ann, but she did an amazing job following up with us and putting it together. We have so many many great things to say about this place, because everything turned out perfect in the most imperfect way. Our signature cocktail was tasty and refreshing. The staff was on point with being attentive and responsive to us and all of our guests. Sonja, the main person in charge was very sweet and helpful. The food was delicious, even though we as bride and groom did not eat much. Our guest had seconds and thirds because they really enjoyed the food. No doubt, this is a great place to have your wedding. We are so happy we chose the Hills for our special day!

The biggest compliment that we had was from our guests that were all so impressed with the amazing wedding dinner reception that Ann, the chef & their staff created for our daughter Summer. My husband and I were married at The Hills of Lakeway in March and had a fantastic experience! Ann, the coordinator, is wonderful and such a gem! Throughout the planning process she was extremely attentive and made sure that all the aspects of the wedding came together seamlessly on our wedding day. I never had a worry that anything would go wrong because Ann is so skilled! The wedding package at Lakeway is also top notch. The food? Fantastic. The cake? Beautiful and delicious. The flowers? Stunning colors and arrangements. All our guests couldn't get over how beautiful the setting was, how great the food was, and how smoothly the wedding ran. I highly recommend Ann and her team, they are great at what they do and you will not be sorry!

My wife and I had our wedding at The Hills of Lakeway on December 3rd, 2016. We were very pleased with the way our wedding turned out. The ceremony had an absolutely breathtaking backdrop and the inside decor was beautiful as well. The staff did an amazing job throughout the ceremony and reception and Ann was very on top of thing to ensure everything went according to plan. The food was awesome and they had great drink choices. Everybody had a blast at our wedding. The all inclusive wedding package at The Hills is truly a great deal. I highly recommend this The Hills of Lakeway to other couples that are trying to maximize their budget.

Our daughter was married December 10, 2016 and the reception was held at The Hills Country Club. The evening was absolutely perfect and elegant! Ann Loiselle, Director of Private Events went over and above for our daughter's special day and the new General Manager, James Walsh (formerly manager at Barton Creek Country Club) was wonderful. The staff was so eager to make things the way that we wanted and were so kind.

The food was fabulous, the buffet table was gorgeous, the signature drink was a hit with the guests and the ballroom was breathtaking.

Ann Loiselle's suggestion to do a "first look" with the bride and groom on the beautiful bridge was wonderful. The pictures are gorgeous and the scenery was breathtaking. We will cherish the memories forever of that day.

Our experience was AMAZING! From the moment we initially walked in to inquire out the venue until the time we left on our wedding night Ann and Micki and Amanda were amazing!! The process was so smooth and they were so understanding, helpful and caring! They were there every step of the planning process and beyond. Although Micki eventually left the company Ann was more than amazing by herself and Amanda was there to help on our wedding day!! It rained on our wedding day but we still feel like the day was perfect they made sure everything was beautiful and just how we wanted it to be!! We don't have any complaints about our experience with Ann, Micki and the whole staff at the hills of lakeway country club. Everyone was so accommodating and made us feel so special. The all-inclusive package that they offered made the wedding process so easy for us! The vendors that they use are truly outstanding. Our cake was amazing!! The food was a big hit and the DJ really got a feel for what we wanted. Words can’t express how great of a time we had planning our wedding. The staff goes above and beyond to meet all your needs. Thank you so much to Ann, Micki and the whole staff at The Hills of lakeway country club, yall truly made our wedding one to remember. Our wedding guest are still taking about how much fun they had at our wedding! This is a great venue to have your wedding, no matter who you are or where you come from they make you feel like family.

Picking The Hills for my wedding venue was the best decision i've made! (Well, besides saying "yes" and "I do) I researched in detail about every place to get married in Austin, TX and after putting in all the numbers this was hands down the best value. Not to mention it felt like home and perfection from the very moment I stepped foot in the venue. Ann is amazing and was so accommodating and PATIENT with all of my millions of emails. She stuck by my side the whole year and a half I had to plan my wedding. My wedding was perfect, absolutely everything I ever dreamed of and more.

Wonderful venue!! We had an absolutely amazing experience with The Hills of Lakeway. We booked the Flintlock Falls pavilion in September for our wedding in May. Throughout the following months Ann and Micki were very attentive and responded promptly with answers to our questions. We had our wedding on at the Hills of Lakeway on April 30, 2016.
We went there for their Bridal Open House in February 2016 and we really so surprised how beautiful it was.
I immediately fell in love with this place which was just perfect for our wedding.
Their coordinators (Ann and Micki) are the BEST!
They offer all inclusive packages with a lot of options. We worked together on our wedding program and budget.
Honestly, they were so helpful, kind and professional. We want to say to Ann, Micki and all their staff "Thank you very much! We had the wedding of our dreams!"
BTW, their food and house wines are really good. We had a lot of compliments from our guests about the awesome venue, great food and especially their excellent staff.
We really recommend this venue!

I found this venue at the local Bridal Extravaganza, we had only been living in Austin for almost two years so I was very overwhelmed by finding all the different vendors we would need to complete our big day. It was there that I met Micki (she no longer works for The Hills), Miki sold me when she told me how they were all inclusive and how I wouldn't have to hunt down all of these other vendors. After attending their open house, that is when we met Ann, both of them were very helpful throughout the entire process. It was so nice being able to have this as a one stop shop! Our wedding turned out beautifully and everyone kept complimenting how good the food and drinks were! I highly recommend the venue and Ann was very thorough with answering all of the questions I had leading up to the big day!

Our experience with The Hills was wonderful! Our ceremony was elsewhere, but we held the reception at the Flintrock Falls Club and it was the perfect setting for the party. The onsite coordinator (Ann) is absolutely amazing. She made the experience easy and fun for us by being very organized, accommodating, and responsive to emails. Our wedding was beautiful thanks to Ann and the Flintrock Falls Staff. The wedding package the Hills of Lakeway offers is very cost effective and helps make the planning much easier. The vendors they use are top notch and you are not losing any value or quality by going with a package. We were able to pick exactly what we wanted for flowers, cake, music, etc...you can keep it standard or customize it as you choose. We picked some standard options and they are very high quality. Ann was key to helping with the wedding planning - I asked a million questions and she was always there to answer and provide guidance. It was a very positive and easy going atmosphere. The food was amazing and all of guests commented on how it was not your usual "wedding food" - several went back for a second helping! The bar staff was great with serving everyone - no one had to wait in line for a drink. The wedding was very well organized, no lulls that caused guests to become bored. Even after a few of the wedding party were not able to make it last minute, it turned out exactly how we dreamed it would be and that is really due to the hard work from Ann, her staff and all of the great vendors. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Flintrock Falls is a beautiful location for a wedding reception, even on a rainy evening!
I was particularly impressed with Ann's responsiveness during the last months of planning. She was prompt in emailing and that kept the stress down. She and Deb showed wonderful flexibility working with outside vendors who were not part of the wedding package. Everyone on site showed professionalism at all times and were quick to help in any way.

I truly cannot say enough good things and give enough praise to Ann and Micki and this wonderful venue. The whole process went so smoothly. I looked at tons of venues online and when I found the Hills of Lakeway I knew that their package deal was one of the best deals you could possibly find. Ann picks out the best vendors in town and sets them all up for your wedding date. Therefore the vendors have a great relationship with Ann and know the venue well so it is extremely helpful in making everything run so smoothly. The food is excellent! So many of our guests commented on the excellent quality of the food. The venue is beautiful and provides a comfortable and elegant atmosphere for your special day. Ann was excellent about responding very quickly to all of my emails and crazy questions and basically held my hand though the entire planning process. She was on top of every detail and I had complete trust in her so that we were able to just relax and enjoy our wedding day. Ann was great about keeping the evening on schedule and made sure that my husband and I ate and had drinks. She is also very good at helping to diffuse family drama which is really important with large families. She also worked very hard with us to make the money stretch as far as it could and we were able to have extra stuff that I hadn't originally planned on having and they were excellent additions! This venue truly lives up to all of its excellent reviews. Our wedding day was perfect and we were able to relax and enjoy and absorb the entire experience! I wouldn't change a thing and choosing The Hills of Lakeway was the best choice we made!

I don't even know where to begin! Ann Loiselle, Mickey and their team were incredible!!! I HIGHLY recommend going with Flintrock Falls/The Hills of Lakeway for your wedding! I was very picky about my venue and looked at about 15 different venues before I decided on this amazing property. I went with the package which includes the venue, food, DJ, drink, flowers, linens, brides cake and more! Ann has found all of the top vendors in the area which are used in the package and which makes being a bride so much easier! This way you dont have to run around town looking for the best vendors when Ann already has them all picked out and has been using them for years! These vendors also know Ann and the property which makes it that much easier. They all already know where to go and Ann coordinates everything with them. Ann's expertise is also included and she was very patient with me through the entire process. My mom and I would ask Ann crazy questions and she always had the perfect answer for us. She made sure everything up until the day of the wedding was smooth sailing and the day of was completely perfect! Day of my hair/makeup stylist canceled due to poor weather and Ann went out of her way to find a hair stylist for us. Day of Ann had my husband and I in mind the entire time. She made sure all events were happening on time and even put up with all of the crazy people at our wedding! She made sure my husband and I ate, always had something to drink, brought us appetizers and constantly was helping in any way she could. The food at the Hills is amazing!!! Everyone loved it and so did we! I could probably write a novel about how amazing everything was but trust me go with the Hills! The Hills at Lakeway is a beautiful venue. The food is excellent, the parking is great, and your guests will have a great time. What really puts the Hills over the top is Ann and Micki. They are both extremely helpful and made planning my wedding actually relaxing.

Ann went out of her way to to go above and beyond to make the day special. When my photographer quit she helped us find another photographer because that is just how wonderful she is. She gave recommendations for photobooths and was open to any other touches we wanted to add to our wedding such as having pies delivered as the wedding favor.

All of the vendors as part of the wedding package are well-known vendors and are vendors you would most likely be using if you weren't purchasing the package.

The Hills hosted a Rehearsal Dinner party for 100 recently for our son's wedding. The facility and Ann were amazing to work with. They were very accommodating and responsive. Being from Louisiana, we wanted to bring a little flair to the event and have a Mardi-Gras themed party. Not only did Ann and her team help with set-up, florists and decorations, the Louisiana style menu that the kitchen came up with made everyone feel like we were back in New Orleans. The food was outstanding and the guests from around the country raved about the great selection, and outstanding cuisine.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at The Hills of Lakeway. Our wedding coordinators, Ann Loiselle and her assistant Mickey, were truly remarkable under the most trying circumstances. Wedding day - it began to rain and the forecast included strong thunderstorms. Ann assured us that they would make every attempt to have the wedding outdoors as planned. I could tell she was genuinely dismayed when the rain began in earnest and we had to move everything indoors however she assured us that they would do everything possible to make the event a special day for our families, and she did! After the ceremony, the ballroom was once again quickly transformed into a lovely reception area. The food was wonderful and the guests loved it. The beer and wine selections were excellent; Joyce is such a fun bartender; she looks out for your guests making every one of them feel special. We chose this venue because its great value. You can have as little or as much input into the selections for your wedding. We really appreciated choosing the meals, cake flavors, colors, and decorations but we also appreciated the fact the Ann took care of everything else. After the ceremony, everyone's cellphone alarms started going off with tornado warnings. The staff was attentive to the weather and our safety, yet also focused on keeping the guests entertained and the evening flowing well. Ann kept everything moving along with grace and charm. We did not miss one special event from the daddy/daughter dance to the garter throw. Also, we were really happy that we opted for the photo booth too. It gave everyone something fun and silly to focus on instead of the rain. And the open bar was a help too :) Had the weather been perfect, the wedding would have been memorable. However, even with severe weather and a dress mishap the wedding was still wonderful and perhaps even more memorable! Can't wait to see the photos (amazing photographer included) and relive the moments!

Thank you so much Ann & Micki!! Our March 2015 wedding was amazing - Ann and all of her staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was the way I envisioned our big day to be. My husband was sick for a majority of our engagement, so other than choosing the vendors, I did not really start planning until about three months before the big day. Ann was extremely accommodating, and made sure I didn't feel stressed in what sometimes felt like an overwhelming amount of things to do in a short period of time - had we not gone with the Hills, I think that the wedding planning process would have been MUCH harder! The venue was beautiful, the vendors that came with our package were all amazing, and the food was great (I heard a TON of complements from the guests on the food). I am extremely happy with the value - we got so much for one low price, and I think there is truly no easier way to make sure your wedding goes smoothly. Speaking of smooth, Ann helped to solve a couple family drama issues quickly and quietly without me feeling like I had to mediate - with a big family, this was something I was really grateful for. Overall, we were very happy with the service and all of the elements that came into play through the Hills for making our wedding unforgettable!

I cannot explain what an absolute joy it was to have my wedding at The Hills of Lakeway! From the first day I met with Ann (the event director), I felt a huge weight lifted from my shoulders and the fun began. Ann and her assistant Micki take care of EVERYTHING. Their wedding package includes all rentals, the DJ, florist, and catering. It was awesome not having to find all of these vendors myself, and they are all fantastic! We had so much fun doing the food and beverage tasting at The Hills to decide on our menu and signature cocktail. The food is outstanding! So delicious! Ann and Micki discussed with us all details of the room and decor to make sure that everything fit our vision. The wedding package also included a spa day for me and my bridesmaids and a golf day for the guys. It was amazing and such a great way to relax and bond with everyone the day before the wedding. The ceremony and reception were perfect! Ann and Micki kept everything running smoothly and on time without rushing anyone/thing. If anything went wrong on the wedding day, I had no idea because these wonderful ladies are pros at their job.
Speaking of, I cannot praise Ann and Micki enough. They are so sweet and fun yet incredibly professional and organized. They are genuinely excited to provide an amazing wedding experience. My husband and I felt that they wanted more than us for the day to be absolutely perfect and they did everything in their power to make it so. They were always very easy to contact and would respond quickly to emails or phone calls. Even when I had a million questions and wanted to make changes, they were so kind and helpful. I felt that the wedding package at The Hills of Lakeway was very reasonably priced, and yet we would have paid more for the outstanding service given by Ann and Micki.
If you are looking for a low stress, all-inclusive, beautiful place to have your wedding, I highly recommend The Hills of Lakeway!

This place is AMAZING! My daughter's wedding was here on 12.13.14. The all inclusive package they use here is genius. Ann & Micki took care of and coordinated everything perfectly. They didn't let us lift a finger, just wanted us to enjoy the day. Not one ounce of stress for me or my daughter in the entire 6-month planning. All thanks to Ann & Micki. The venue looked gorgeous and the food was incredible. Delicious AND hot. Nearly every guest wanted to know how on earth we found this place because everything was so perfect. The cost for everything was so reasonable. I feel like if we had had to rent a venue and then hire all the vendors we would have spent easily twice what we did (this wasn't my first wedding so I know from experience). At the end of the night, my husband and I TRIED to think of anything that didn't go off perfectly, even a small thing and we honestly could not think of one thing. I highly recommend The Hills of Lakeway Country Club to anyone getting married in the Austin area...you won't regret it! Thank you Ann & Micki for making all my daughter's dreams come true.

Ann and Micki are wonderful to work with! Having a package that includes beautiful flowers, delicious cake, and a great dinner menu makes what could be a stressful situation, a fun and enjoyable day. The guys enjoyed the golf, and the girls loved their pampering at the Worl of Tennis Spa.

Not only are The Hills and Flintrock beautiful venues to have a wedding but I was so impressed with Ann and Micki's attentiveness to every aspect of the ceremony and reception. As the bride I so appreciated not having to be involved in managing the events of the evening - Ann and Micki basically took care of everything and just told me what to do and when and asked me my preferences but then executed the whole thing without me having to worry. It was really great to be able to concentrate on having fun and enjoying the moment knowing that I had a great team taking care of the details. Also the food was phenomenal - I thought it was delicious and I got a lot of great feedback about it.

My wedding was absolutely beautiful and despite the last minute rain and need to move the wedding inside, it ran so smoothly and didn't even feel like it wasn't the original plan. Ann was AMAZING as coordinator!! She took care of everything, and the day of the wedding, I didn't even have to think about anything other than the fact that I was about to marry my best friend! If anything went wrong, I don't know about it, because it was all taken care of without involving me! Also, the food was very good, especially the mashed potatoes, I would have eaten a whole plate of just the potatoes if I could. Not to mention.... I, the bride, ate a full meal. Ann made sure my plate and my husband's plate were ready for us so we could start eating while everyone else was getting their food. She even set aside appetizers for us that we got to eat while we were waiting to be announced into the reception. All in all, I was a very happy bride with a very happy tummy too! I couldn't have and wouldn't have made it through with as little stress as I did were it not for Ann!

I had the wedding of my dreams at the Hills of Lakeway! Ann (our wedding coordinator) was AMAZING and made the event flawless. I was able to have the wedding I have always hoped for and more. Truly was an amazing experience and I will remember it for the rest of my life! The staff was incredible, always on their toes and never an empty drink in sight. The venue was beyond beautiful. Breathtaking views of the golf course and waterfall were seen the entire night. We had rented out both sides of the Hills because we had about 250 people there and it was perfect!

During the planning period there were a few setbacks but everything worked out in the end and the Hills were very accommodating.

I highly recommend the Hills and Ann for anyone’s wedding. They made the day one that my family, friends, and I will never forget!

The outdoor setting was all that we could ask for and Ann's planning/coordination services exceeded expectations. My daughter had a great rapport with Ann - who was always available to answer questions, explain the process, and show us the venue. I was impressed with how calm my daughter was as her day approached, and know that the availability and responsiveness of The Hills' personnel - especially Ann - was a large part of that.

I don't think I can say enough great things about The Hills and the magnificent job they do constructing and executing your perfect event.
It rained on our wedding day, and you could not tell anything was changed. The entire day was a 10. The staff is so incredibly professional, the vendors that work with The Hills are top notch, and Ann the event coordinator is one of a kind. You think of something and it's done before you can mention it. Their attention to detail and service is phenomenal.
I wholeheartedly recommend The Hills for ANY event you could think of. You will not be disappointed.

We had our reception at the Hills of Lakeway in April 2013.
Looking back, this was the best decision we made because Ann (who is the coordinator) and her team did everything they could to make our evening absolutely amazing.
Right from the first time we met, Ann was friendly and extremely patient, and made us feel very comfortable. She always responded quickly to questions (and we had a lot of them) and gave us all the information we asked for.
The venue was just newly renovated, so the lawn was beautiful and the guests enjoyed the gorgeous view of the waterfall during the cocktail hour outdoors.
The ballroom was decorated better than I expected, and Ann worked great coordinating with the florist and making sure that the tables, flowers, cake, pictures and other decorations were set up perfectly.
After we left the reception, everything was packed up nicely (including the cake) and given to our family, and we didn't have to worry about doing anything!
Looking back, I would not hesitate to make the same decision again, as everything turned out great and all our guests had a great time. Thank you Ann and team!! :-)

The staff was extremely helpful and quickly responded to every need during the reception. The food was excellent. There was ample parking for buses, limo's and all guests and the club provided a "stretch" golf cart to shuttle some guests. Overall, they had an attitude of "we'll take care of it" and they did.

Having our wedding at the Hills of Lakeway Country Club was the best decision ever. Working with Ann the coordinator was such a pleasure. From the minute we booked the venue she followed up on all important matters and questions and even offered suggestions and vendors to work with. She had everything beautifully arranged for a stress free event and even pitched in with her staff to help on items that were shortcoming on behalf of our vendors we brought in. The staff was nice and courteous and made sure everyone was happy, I don’t think I ever had an empty drink! They did a great job and I would definitely recommend The Hills Country Club as your wedding venue.

There was not one detail that you did not attend to, and we probably had the best wedding that anyone could ask for, we loved it so much and we are so glad that we had it at The Hill's. Ann made our wedding a very special day. She has excellent organizational skills, and was very helpful from day one. She was very responsive to our needs and always displayed true professionalism with us and our friends/family. She always found a way to accommodate our requests for special tables, colors, placement of the piano...you name it and Ann was always there and she found a way to make our special day more special.

I scheduled a wedding/dinner for my daughter's June 30, 2012 wedding at the Flintrock Falls clubhouse. The event was small, but lovely and...stress free. A bonus was that Ann was able to recommend vendors (musician and minister) that we needed and didn't already have booked. She was there step by step, very attentive and professional. Beautiful hill country venue, close to Austin and Lake Travis.

Ann, Event Coordinator, was prompt in returning all e-mails and phone calls.
The wait staff was very attentive, even calling the group by names.
Decor was beautiful, tastefully done.
Chef introduced himself to the co-chairs before the event, offering his service throughout the event.

The Hills Country Club was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. The space was large, open and newly remodeled to an even more upscale atmosphere so it was perfect for my 120 guests. Every employee was extremely helpful plus nice and the food was excellent!! I highly recommend to anyone looking at planning a large event to have it at The Hills Country Club in Lakeway, TX. We had so much fun and couldn't have picked a better location!! ~ Ashley

We had a Halloween Party for 180 friends. Ann Loiselle helped us select a fabulous menu that was served perfectly. She arranged a signature cocktail for our guests as well as sharing some of their own decorations for us to use. The staff was very helpful with many details and our event was a great success.

Everything went very well! The staff was amazing, very polite and seemed to be able to clear tables, get water etc. with you really seeing them. The food was fabulous and everyone left with a wonderful memory!

My husband and I got married at The Hills Country Club on June 9, 2012. We could not have asked for a better day. Amber and Ann took such good care of us. They made our day a day to remember. We chose to marry under a beautiful tree on the golf course and our reception was at Flintrock. Due to construction, we had to make some last minute changes and have our ceremony and reception at 2 different locations. Amber and Ann went above and beyond to make everything perfect. They recommended Flora Fetish and GoBo Entertainment for our flowers and DJ. What really impressed me is that they all worked very well together. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. We will forever be grateful for the staff at The Hills that made our day magical. Thank you!

Kingwood Country Club was a great place to have my wedding. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food was tasty and the event coordinators Amber and Lacey were very friendly and accomodating. It was very important for us to have our dogs apart of our ceremony and they were great in making sure this happened for us. Overall the night was amazing and all that I could have wanted it to be.

Despite a little mishap with construction happening right before the wedding and the coordinator bailing two weeks prior, the day turned out wonderfully! They make getting things done with vendors easy and keep everything together so multiple parties know exactly what is supposed to happen. The coordinator that stepped in was fantastic and kept me sane those last two weeks. There were a few small things that didn't go quite like we would have liked but the day went so smoothly I really can't complain at all! Great people that make your life easier.

The Hills was great to work with, very flexible and made our wedding so easy. Anne and Mickey were great, very helpful, coordinated everything so we did not have to worry about a thing. I'd recommend The Hills as a wedding venue to anyone. The value is great for all that you get, one single location for both the ceremony and reception makes for very happy attendees. My husband and I got married at The Hills Country Club on July 7th and couldn't have been any happier!!! We live in Dallas and did 98% of our planning from out of town. Ann was absolutely AMAZING! She was quick to respond to any questions we had, and was incredibly professional and organized the day of the wedding. She definitely has a calming presence that put everyone at ease. I have celiac disease so I had to have a gluten free menu and they were extremely accommodating. Our guests are STILL talking about how delicious the food was!! I would DEFINITELY recommend them for any event!!

Believe it or not, we almost didn't show for our appointment to tour The Hills. But, fortunately we decided to give it a shot. I can't imagine a better setting for an outdoor wedding for those inclined to marry on a golf course. What really sold us was the package pricing - officiate, DJ, decor, flowers, cake, food, drinks, coordinator - basically all the major components of a wedding and reception (minus photographer) all rolled into one single price. It made it SOOO easy and we didn't feel like we were being nickled and dimed for every little thing. It was such a great experience from start to finish. We HIGHLY recommend The Hills, particularly for outdoor wedding in a golf course setting.

The Hills is a gorgeous venue with the most helpful and accommodating staff. We got so many compliments on the setting of our ceremony and cocktail hour under the trees. Ann and Micki were absolutely wonderful to work with and I don't think I could have done it without them! The day of was completely stress free because I knew I was in good hands. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't even hesitate saying I would hold my wedding here!

Ann and Micki are amazing. Would not have been able to plan a wedding in 2 months without them!

The food was incredible. Without a doubt, plan a food tasting and consultation with Chandler, the head chef at Flintrock. He made a completely customized menu based on our taste. EVERYONE was raving about the food!

If you're getting married here during the hot months outside, definitely give your guests a personal fan as a favor. The sunset is beautiful, but it's also hot. ?

What a fabulous venue The Hills of Lakeway was for our daughter's wedding. Micki was so professional at every phase of the planning process, and an absolute pro when the big day arrived! I can't give high enough praise to Micki for pulling it all together and holding it all together. She kept us all calm and focused. We heard nothing but raves from friends and family for the lovely setting, top notch service, delicious food, and all around great wedding experience. Best of all, she and Ann put the whole thing together in less than three months! Any friends I have who are looking for a fabulous wedding experience, will be sent to Micki and Ann immediately!

I could not have asked for a more professional and responsive group of people. The Hills has a relationship with a DJ, Florist, Bakery, and Linen Rental company. The package took most of the stress out of finding vendors. The event coordinator, Ann Loiselle, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She kept me on track throughout the 10 month engagement and on track with what I needed to be doing at a particular time. She was very quick to return emails (my preferred method of communication). I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wishing to have a beautiful and elegant wedding or special event. The entire staff was a pleasure.

All childhood I grew up living in the environment of a country club -- so you can only imagine how excited I was to have it at the hills of lakeway. I never imagined that my expectations would be exceeded, but they were. Ann, and the rest of the staff, did a tremendous job putting everything together. We only had 1 and 1/2 months to do this, and it turned out fantastic! The outside ceremony, indoor reception, dancing, and buffet all came together so smoothly. Ann really knows her job inside out and the transitions from each important piece to a wedding -- (ex: ceremony, pictures, first dance, cake cutting. etc) were just great. If you want a wedding to be conducted properly, smoothly, and precise choose Ann and the hills of lakeway. Thanks so much Ann, for everything!

Ann and her team were excellent. The meal was fantastic. They went the extra mile with purchasing sparklers and taking care to ensure we kept on schedule. Chandler was excellent and I apologize for forgetting his announcement.

Really a first class event and I would highly recommend the venue and the staff to anyone inquiring.

Ann and her team did a great job - we received multiple compliments from our guests on the decorations, food, and service. The Flintrock Falls Clubhouse is a wonderful place to have the wedding and reception! We had approx 260 guests. The outdoor pavilion and patio was large enough to seat all of us and inside we had the DJ (GOBO Entertainment) who did a great job. The food was excellent and the service for dining and bar was very smooth. It was so nice to have a professional dedicated staff (Ann & Micki) to oversee the planning and execution of the event.

We were concerned about the rain chances but had a back up plan inside the pavilion just in case. Fortunately, the weather cleared that afternoon and the lawn behind the clubhouse provided a beautiful setting for a sunset ceremony. I highly recommend The Hills CC and the Flintrock Falls clubhouse.

Our photos turned out great after having our wedding here! I would almost say it's worth it just for the scenery. The women's locker room is large and roomy, it was so nice having so much space. Ann is great!

The Hills Golf Club is an amazing place for any function. Ann, our wedding coordinator is the best!! As the "Mother of the bride", the planning and decision making for the wedding was practically effortless, thanks to Ann. She gave us great information, thought about all the details (big and small), she had several meetings with the independent venders (cake, DJ, Photographer...), along with many Hills staff meetings. The Hills FOOD!!! OH MY! The best Crab Cakes, Prime Rib, Chicken in a Poblano sauce! All of our 240 guests raved at the quality and presentation.
The end result was the most beautiful, and elegant wedding one has ever seen.
Everything was perfect!
HILLS GOLF CLUB and ANN LOISELLE, Thank you so much for a WONDERFUL AND MOST MEMORABLE EVENT.

We had our same-sex wedding here in October and it was wonderful. Ann was amazing at coordinating all the venue services. The staff was very friendly and professional as well as willing to work with us outside the "traditional" wedding format. Highly recommended.

The Hills of Lakeway was the perfect place for our wedding. We choose them initially primarily because of the all inclusive package they offer. We didn't have to hunt down vendors or anything else that made planning so much easier. Ann (on staff planner/coordinator) was great and made sure our special day went as smooth as possible. While we were very nervous that there was some construction happening around the same time, they followed through on preserving the grounds so it was not noticeable. The food here is also WONDERFUL! They made sure that we had plates made for us so we had time to eat together. Overall the vendors we used through them were good, there were a few bumps with one of them but that was handled accordingly after the fact, another plus with the hills.

The evening was wonderful and we had so many compliments from guests on how lovely the whole event was. We are so happy we chose them for our wedding!

It was an excellent venue and I would definitely recommend it. The only difficult part was that you could not bring in food or drink and had to use the kitchen and bar services at the facility.

I am in love with this venue. It was the last one I visited during my interviewing process, and almost didn't go (just due to time constraints). But I am so glad I did!
I immediately knew this was my wedding venue. I do not live in Austin, so it was great that they had an all-inclusive package deal--- the DJ, Florist, and Bakery are already selected. And that being said, every single one of the vendors were great.
The day went extremely smooth. Ann (private events coordinator) and Mickey (assistant) were great. If anything did go wrong on the day of, I did not hear anything about it. And that is the way it should be! Problems should get resolved and never make it back to the bride :-)
Our ceremony site was in the grove of trees directly outside of The Falls Ballroom. It was beautiful. Great outdoor areas for photographs too.
The Falls Ballroom was beautiful. The glass windows all the way around made you feel like you were outdoors but has climate control! I got so many compliments for the venue.
The food was delicious... some of our guests even said it was the best wedding food they had every had.

Here are my recommendations...
1) The dance floor got extremely hot. I don't know if it because we had such an awesome wedding and so many people were dancing, or if it was just hot.
2)Ann is juggling too many brides. Mickey (assistant) was just recently hired, so hopefully that will help with the workload. It sometimes took days to a week to get a response via email. But for the record, the week of the wedding responses were received within hours.
3) Our "romantic last dance" was rushed and the sparklers were lit too early, so most of them were out before we did our exit. Next time, they should let the "romantic last dance" finish, position the bride and groom (ready to exit, shoes on!), light the sparklers, and then open the doors!

great place to get married i loved the reception, i wasnt a big fan of some of the vendors used by them like the flowers and cake because they were quick to add more expenses outside of the package. ie the cake we had in the package came with 3 tiers but if we wanted to add a 4th even just a fake tier it cost $500. the only other problem i had was i brought a stand to get married under and since its not theirs they really didnt worry about it or even help me set it up, i was trying to get dressed and i had to worry about it falling over and how to tie it down. besides that everything was great we had a fun time id do it all over again

Thank you so much for your feedback on your wedding. In response to your feedback, please know that from the beginning it is not required that you use our vendors. If they are removed from the package the money allotment for them is just used in a different area to upgrade. It is also specifically stated that any upgrades to the package are certainly an option and to be paid directly to the vendors. We use very high quality vendors with long-standing, stellar reputations in the Austin area as it is important that the quality of service is exceptional to our clients. In regards to the arch, as long as all supplies are provided by the client for the assembly or set up our team is more than happy to help, but we cannot provide supplies that we don't have such as ropes, stakes, sandbags at the very last moment. We assist in the set up of your entire event as long as all needed equipment is provided. Again, thank you so much for taking time to review The Hills of Lakeway.

Also, we underwent a 3 million dollar renovation in 2012 to upgrade the facility.
