Una treated us like family!

Love, love, love Una! We had a destination wedding and I did my research to contact local florists in the Malibu area. Most of them were so expensive and doesn't seem to have what I was looking for my budget. Then my friend recommended Una. I immediately contacted her and she was so responsive, agreed to do a skype appointment and when I showed her my Pinterest account, she immediately knew what I was looking for, she got to work right away and suggested a few more to fit into my budget. Oh boy, did I do a good job in finding her. When I told the venue who I hired as a florist, they immediately said, WE LOVE UNA! I knew I was in great hands if local venues knew her and her excellent work! She is so easy to work with, very down to earth and works with any budget and makes it look like it costs more. She has a great eye for beauty and class. The arrangements she made for us is very elegant and classy. I love everything from the hanging candles, to the glass chandelier and my husband's black and white boutonniere. Very chic indeed! She treated us like family and that's the best thing you could ask for.

Beyond Spectacular

Una completely saved our wedding and elevated it in a way we could only dream of.

We're not exaggerating: Una did all of this with TWO WEEKS' NOTICE.

A family member gifted us the funds to be able to afford a florist just a couple of weeks before our wedding. We only had time for one meeting with her.

She instantly got what we were going for, worked with us on getting the most for our budget, and made it all happen.

We had seen how great her work was, but even still, she far exceeded our expectations. She made our wedding truly magical.

We cannot recommend her & The Flower Lab enough!

The absolute best!!!

Una and The Flower Lab exceeded our wildest dreams! We got married at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, and Una executed our floral vision perfectly. Una is IMMENSELY talented and makes great suggestions as you work to curate a plan together. In addition, something I was particularly thankful for is her willingness to work within the confines of the relevant budget. To pull it all off at the venue of our dreams, we had to be disciplined with our budget, and Una never judged us for that and instead made wonderful suggestions on how we could still achieve the things that were most important to us.

In terms of the actual execution of our vision, I am emotional just thinking about our flower arch and cocktail hour/reception family table/guest table arrangements! It all felt so magical, and Una was instrumental in creating that. She is also a true professional in every sense of the word - extremely responsive, diligent, transparent, incredibly hard-working and so upbeat and supportive in how she interacts with her couples.

I am so thankful to Una and The Flower Lab team for their commitment to excellence and how delightful they were to work with. We will be reliving our day in our memories for the rest of our lives, and Una played a starring role in that! If I had to do it over again, I would choose Una every single time.

Dream Vision Come True

Una was amazing. A dream florist to work with. Her eye for design and work is outstanding and she really brought my dream wedding vision to life.

I was very particular and picky. I didn’t want my wedding to look like most other weddings with classic styles (white florals everywhere) or tacky in a few years. I told her I wanted vintage style florals, warm neutrals with some pops of contrast especially because me venue has historic vibes and she slayed. I loved how she’s such an expert that she was able to work off the information I provided her so well. Also she was extremely communicative and always professional and prompt in responses (so important in planning).

Everyone said my wedding was so beautiful and that the florals were stunning and I’ll always be able to look back at my wedding with love for how the vision came together.

P.S. I learned that I should just go with what Una recommends because she’s the expert. Personally tried so hard to go against LED taper candles but look how realistic they look in my photo!

Superb Service!

Gorgeous Arrangements

Wow, Una completely exceeded my expectations! My now husband and I met with Una when we were engaged. We knew she was the florist for us after our first meeting as she was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I had a good feeling about her. Although she admitted that my style was a bit out of the norm from what she normally does (as I love color and strayed away from the common blush/white color scheme), she completely understood the vision and knew how to execute it. I loved our flowers more than the inspiration I found on Pinterest! I'm so grateful I put my full trust in her as she nailed it and had great advice along the way from her years of experience. Better than I could have imagined!

There are really not enough good things to say about The Flower Lab! Una provided incredible insight throughout our wedding planning journey, transforming our ideas into a stunning vision that I will never forget the experience of seeing for the first time. From changing dates due to COVID, evolving floral ideas, and last minute requests, she was not only incredibly patient but also went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. Our historic wedding venue was very unique and had a lot of detail which Una's designs incredibly enhanced to create an experience our guests are still talking about. Not only was Una a pleasure to work with, providing constant communication leading up to the wedding but was at the venue the day of, making sure everything ran smoothly and came together flawlessly. Dreamy and creative floral arrangements!

The Flower Lab's owner, Una, makes lovely flower arrangements - light, sophisticated and elegant. She works with the clients (in our case, my son and his bride) to arrive at a concept, colors, height, and style, and got the couple in the week before the event to approve the floral arrangements and extras like candles. Great customer service, beautiful work - we highly recommend The Flower Lab!

Incredible Florist!!

Una did a fabulous job with our wedding flowers!! I had a clear vision of what I wanted and Una completely brought it to life and completely exceeded my expectations!

The one thing I was really adamant about was having our head table and the fire place behind us be a focal point. When I walked into the ballroom, I truly couldn’t believe my eyes at what a spectacular job she did. It truly looked like a romantic, secret garden. Not to mention the candles! The candles brought out such a romantic vibe. I’m still swooning over everything! Another great thing about Una, her prices are very reasonable! Some quotes I got from other florists were just straight up outrageous. Una really works though to make your vision come to life within the budget that most comfortable for you.

Una also did my flowers for my bridal shower and each centerpiece was just gorgeous! I will definitely be using Una again for any future events I have and highly recommend her to anyone!!

Beautiful flowers

I loved Una so much. After my florist canceled on me 2 months before the wedding I was freaking out, I found flower lab here and spoke with Una she took great care of me and knew exactly what I wanted. Flowers were beautiful.

Amazing floral chuppah!

Una was amazing. I gave her just a brief description and a picture of the type of chuppah I was looking for and she made magic. Una from The Flower Lab was a delight to work with, we would highly recommend her! Our wedding was impacted by COVID and we had to change our original plans. Una worked with us to make our new vision a reality. Her work is stunning!! We received so many compliments from guests and my bridal bouquet was out of this world gorgeous, I couldn't thank her enough!! She is a true professional, very communicative, and was on time for set up and strike. Better than I could have hoped!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Even 10 stars won't do this place justice because not only is Una an expert flower arrangement artist, but she must also be a mind-reader.

I had my wedding back in February and unfortunately I was one of those brides who not only had NO idea what I wanted, but even if I did have one smidge of an inkling of what I was looking for, I had no idea how to express it, while at the same time being super picky about what I did not want. Una was more than accommodating to my inarticulate, indecisive self, whilst patiently guiding my thought process to help me figure out what I actually wanted. By the end of our final consultation, I'd basically changed my mind on everything from the types of flowers I wanted, to the number of centrepieces and altar arrangements plus a cake topper, to even the colour scheme twice!

Eventually, I'd pointed at a picture of an arrangement she'd done previously and said "I like that one, but different," and, after she'd made absolute sure about my final colour scheme, she said to just leave it to her... and came up with a masterpiece.

She'd somehow taken exactly what I had visualised in my head and made it materialise on my wedding day -- except even better than I could have imagined it.

She was willing to work with my fairly tight budget as well as being flexible with random requests I'd thrown at her last minute ("can I have some baby breaths to put in my hair please??" - originally the answer should have been 'no', but she surprised me with a bunch on the day anyway!)

In case I haven't sung enough of her praises yet, by far the best thing about Una is that she takes such great pride in her work that she refuses to deliver anything sub-par. She will flat out tell you if what you're asking for won't look nice or suit your wedding aesthetic, or cannot be done to the highest standard within your budget (she'll suggest alternatives if so). She holds herself to such a high standard that you can pretty much guarantee that what you get on the day will be stunning.

Personally, I really enjoyed working with Una as I fully appreciate her honesty and openness, and cannot recommend her enough for your big day.

Also I hope this review proves how worth it Una was because I literally am creating a WeddingWire account to post it haha. You will not regret working with her!

The most amazing florist that will bring your vision to life!

Una is truly one of the most talented florist I have ever seen! She was able to make my wildest wedding dreams and "enchanted (but yet elegant) forest" vision come true.

When we first saw how her arrangement fit with the whole Birchwood venue, we gasped at the beauty of it all. It was ten times better than what I had ever envisioned. My bridal bouquet (as well as my bridesmaids' bouquet) almost made me cry out with joy.

The wedding arch was so beautiful and everything I wanted. The escort table, guestbook table and desserts table was a dream! And all this while keeping to our budget too.

Many of our guests said that this was one of the most beautiful weddings they've ever attended. All this could not have happened without Una's help and accommodation with our last-minute changes / requests. We can't even begin to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for everything she's done for us -- thank you so much Una!!

Turning Our Vision Into Reality

We wanted a Romantic wedding that was understated, refined, elegant and timeless. Una helped make that a reality. She understood the vision, always gave sensible advice and tried to be flexible with our budget. On the day of the wedding, she was there, making sure everything was beautiful. The Flower Lab was flexible and worked with my budget!

I met with Una at The Flower Lab over 2 meetings to help me achieve the wedding vision within budget. Although I ended up increasing my budget after our meetings, I was ultimately satisfied with my decision. Una was so patient and honest in her pricing to help me understand what could and could not be achieved based on my budget. I ended up using a mix of real flowers and renting acrylic table numbers, hurricane candles and geometric lanterns as centerpieces. I was relieved that I did not have to purchase all of those centerpieces on my own and end up having to deal with setting up, packing it up and storing it to have it collect dust. She worked with my venue, Bel-Air Bay Club, quite often, who has strict guidelines in place for wedding vendors, so I trusted that she knew what could and could not work well in the space. She executed on my vision flawlessly and even offered me cost friendly options such as repurposing ceremony flowers for our sweetheart table at the reception and offering to have me provide my own labor for strike down to help save costs, all to help me achieve my budget. Overall, I would recommend The Flower Lab again!

Amazing experience with The Flower Lab!

Una’s flowers are to die for! From the beginning of our experience, she wanted to see my Pinterest board and make that vision come to life. I knew I wanted a vintage, elegant garden theme but was a little indecisive on exactly what that looked like - she made sure to give me different options, her opinion on what would look best, and how we could make that work with our budget. She was great at communicating, made sure to send me pics and ideas, and when the actual wedding day came, everything was absolutely incredible!!!

We got so many compliments on Una’s arch, floral arrangements, and rental pieces - Una truly made all our dreams come true!!! I can’t recommend her enough!!!

Una is absolutely amazing. I cannot thank her enough for what she did for us for our wedding. Beautiful arrangements that stayed within budget, pleasure to work with

Una did such an amazing job at our wedding. There were no surprises on the day of our wedding – what she had shown us in pictures and samples were exactly what we got the day of. Most impressive was Una’s advice on how to make an impact while staying within our budget. She was organized, flexible, responsive, and didn’t try to upsell anything to us. My husband Darius and I are so grateful that we hired Una from The Flower Lab as the florist for our wedding! When we first met with her, we were extremely indecisive about which flowers to go with for the bouquets and center pieces. She was so patient with us as we debated and changed our mind a bunch of times. She had a bunch of great ideas, and at the same time she also listened to our inputs as well. We had countless email exchanges and meetings and she really worked with us to get to the budget we were comfortable with. She’s also extremely responsive and friendly – a pleasure to work with. Una and The Flower Lab Crew are AMAZING! Meeting with Una we expressed wanting flowers that were blue and orange, had a natural feel, and represented California. Una was up to the task! The Flower lab created the MOST beautiful flower arrangements! They were so amazing that after the wedding the hotel venue used them as decoration at the front desk (we donated the large arrangements to them). The most amazing part was that Una made everything so easy the day of the wedding, and went out of her way to stop by the day after to check in. The Flower Lab is an A+++ Vendor!

Una was so easy to work with and when I presented to her my strict budget, her response of "No problem!" and promises to make my wedding look beautiful convinced me to hire her and I have NO regrets! When going in for my second meeting, I had changed my mind regarding colors and asked her to change a lot of things and showed her exactly what I wanted from my pinterest page. We contacted Una at The Flower Lab after reading the abundance of positive reviews here on Wedding Wire. I have to say that they are well deserved. From the moment, we met Una, we felt comfortable choosing her to do the flowers for our wedding. Prior to our consult, she asked to see photos that resembled what we had in mind, and at our meeting, it was obvious that she understood our vision very well. Despite having a very elegant wedding in mind, we had a limited budget. Una worked within our budget, and the flowers exceeded our expectations. They looked absolutely stunning in our venue and with our decor. As well, she was very easy to work with, extremely responsive, and just an obviously kind person. Una @ The Flower Lab is amazing. HIGHLY recommend you work with her! She put together the flowers for my wedding and engagement photo shoot. What I enjoyed most about worked with Una was:

1. She understood my vision and made it a reality: Una asked me to share pictures with her early on and let me look through her flower lab to pick out beautiful vases and details I thought would fit the style I was looking for, and she made the vision a reality.
2. She is super talented: Una herself has excellent taste and makes all flower arrangements beautiful.
3. She is extremely responsive: Anytime I texted, emailed or called Una, she responded within the next 30 minutes.
4. She is very professional and flexible: Una was great about making the proposal easy to understand and gave me the ability to make changes along the way (adding services and removing services).
5. She is so sweet and wonderful to work with: Una is just a wonderfully kind person and it makes working with her such a pleasure.
6. She is budget conscious: Out of all the florists I spoke with, Una was most conscious of my budget and happy to help me figure out how I could realize my vision within my budget constraints.
7. She goes above and beyond: Una offered to deliver flowers at a far away location (as a courtesy). For our engagement session, she added a boutonniere for my now husband for free. She always seemed to blow me away and surpass my expectations.
8. She recommended me to other vendors I loved! Not only does she listen to your vision for flowers, but she was able to understand what I was looking for and she connected me to other vendors who matched my style...and those vendors were also excellent.

In a nutshell, my now husband and I are so so happy we had Una as our florist. I will certainly be going to Una for any future events I need flowers for. She is really really fantastic!!

My wife and I love Una! She was very sweet and friendly from beginning to end. She really cares about you and her art, and worked hard to make sure we stayed within our budget while staying true to our vision.

When we had our consultation, we had in mind a very specific look and feel for our Harry Potter themed wedding. We wanted something unusual but classy, with a touch of whimsy but not overly romantic. My wife only had 3 images to show Una...a color scheme, lanterns, and books. She did an amazing job of finding the perfect blend of flowers and balancing a look that was untamed, but not so untamed that our parents start complaining about weeds and what not. We were extremely pleased to see so many varieties of plants and flowers in our mix.

Una also found very beautiful lanterns for us to rent as centerpieces. She even went above and beyond our requests, adding small details such as vine around the lanterns and feathers in our succulents.

When it came time for our wedding, the shade of peonies we planned to have used wasn't available. We were worried our vision wouldn't be realized, but Una suggested some alterations that made the new plan look just as beautiful as our original concept. Even though we requested a dark color against another dark color, she was able to make the flowers multidimensional. She really knows what she is doing, because she suggested adding dark purples into the mix. The wife was hesitant at first, but was glad she approved the suggestion because the flowers looked amazing!

We were extremely pleased with her work and would highly recommend her!

Una at the Flower Lab was absolutely amazing from start to finish as our wedding florist! Una not only has such a sweet personality, but she definitely has a gift at understanding what a bride is looking for on her wedding day as well as providing suggestions of her own. Although I met with three different vendors for each category for my wedding, Una was the only florist I had met with in-person. After reaching out to several other florists via email and not being too impressed with them and their pricing, I was so grateful to have found the Flower Lab through the credits on a website of a previous wedding performed at my wedding venue (The Mountain Mermaid in Topanga). I knew that I wanted my wedding vendors to mesh well not only with my budget, but my personality as well. Una definitely was a perfect match with her reasonable prices and detailed suggestions. So please do yourself a favor and set up a consultation with Una! I promise you won't regret it ;) Although she definitely does a number of blush weddings which seem to be the trend these days, she can do so much more than this! Just take a look at the pictures of our wedding flowers on Yelp which help capture Una's diverse talent ;)

On our wedding day, everything looked absolutely amazing and tied together perfectly with our venue - from the large bouquets and handsome boutonnieres, the small bouquets down the aisle, to the large centerpieces with all of the décor throughout the reception hall. It truly came together even better than I had envisioned!! We received numerous compliments on our flowers, including our friends who got married a few months before us. They mentioned how lucky we were to have found such a wonderful and reliable florist, especially since their florist had used completely different flowers from their florist’s centerpiece viewing without their knowledge! So we would like to give a huge thank you to Una for making our special day even more perfect than I imagined :)

Una and her team were absolutely a pleasure to work with. She was on the creative team and collaborated so well with myself and all the other vendors. She worked very hard to make sure that the details and designs met the Bride's expectations and customized it for the look that we were going for. Her flexibility definitely helped me as I planned this wedding with the Bride and she found creative ways to still meet the allotted budget. She is very friendly, and her team executed very well on the wedding day. I would recommend their floral design services to future couples that I work with in wedding planning and look forward to all of her floral designs as they are beautiful, detailed, and perfectly suited for each wedding!

Una at the Flower Lab is amazing. She somehow understood exactly what I was picturing in my brain and used ESP to deliver EXACTLY that! She knew that what I wanted was clean, simple, modern, and elegant, and what she came up with was stunning yet simple. The bridal magazines all tell you to not spend too much money on flowers because decor is the thing brides (interviewed after their wedding) say they don’t remember and wish they spent less $$ on. But every day I think back to our centerpieces and marvel at how much I loved them. (Guests marveled too!) When I get a faraway look in my eyes my now-husband says, “Are you thinking about your centerpieces again?” lol. She also delivered the flowers by hand and it was so wonderful to give her a hug on my special day. She managed to make the boutonnieres un-cheesy, too! Amazing! One super random note - her store is in a deadzone and she doesn’t have wifi, so make sure any inspiration pictures, etc. you bring are downloaded.

When we met Una, we didn't even want to see other florist, she immediately showed us exactly what we wanted to have at the wedding. We met her only once, the rest of the communication was through email. She was really responsive. Two days before the wedding, she sent me pictures of the centerpieces and changed the little things that I asked her to change. The day of the wedding I discovered the bouquets, the boutonnieres, the church flowers and the centerpieces. Everything was really beautiful, really delicate, exactly how I had pictures it!
I would totally recommend The Flower Lab because it was really easy, fast, not to expensive and amazingly beautiful!!

If you are looking for a florist who knows exactly what you want for your outdoor, garden theme wedding, Una is the person to go! She is not a typical florist who only knows use lots of flowers to make your wedding look stunning and unique.

A week before my wedding, I decided to change florist, i found the Flower Lab. :) Una is super nice and friendly. I love her flower selections, they were so unique and different. I love that Una sent me pictures and asked me if anything i like her to change. I love that she kept us on the same page. The price was resonable as well!

I received so many compliments from my guests on the flowers! Thank you so much Una!!!

Una was great! My now wife was very happy with the service, time, and effort she put into making floral arrangements that were perfect. She came up with some awesome ideas to add to the type of wedding we were trying to create. Very easy to deal with and super flexible. We had even decided to change a few things a couple of days before and she was very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend her to someone looking for a terrific florist!

Una is amazing! She offers great and fair prices, she is reliable and knowledgeable and creative, and she really listens to you and creates arrangements that suit your vision. All the flowers from the beautiful altar arrangements to the centerpieces which were the loveliest I have ever seen (my guests were so happy to take the centerpieces home at the end of the night) to all of the personal flowers including my bouquet, were outstanding.
Una showed up early on our wedding day to set up and the flowers were fresh and perfect. Highly recommended.

If you want an amazing florist, then look no further than Una (the now owner of the Flower Lab)! I actually found Una through my makeup artist and I'm SO glad I did!

Una is extremely patient as I kept changing my ideas several times on the types of flowers and the colors I wanted. I really didn't think my wedding was going to look good as I didn't have a large budget for flowers. She was more than willing to work with my budget, which was great! She never tried to make you pay alot more when she knew you couldn't. She gave her honest opinion on what things were and were not necessary to achieve the vision I wanted while still staying within my budget.

On the day of the wedding, she delivered everything on time. My bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, groom and groomsmen boutonnieres, and parents' corsages & boutonnieres were more beautiful than I had envisioned. The ceremony setup was amazing and so romantic just as I asked her to make it. The thing that took my breath away was what she did with the centerpieces, the sweetheart table, and the cake table in the reception area. It was 100x better than how I had pictured it in my mind!! All my guests commented on how beautiful all the flowers were! I even had some of my friends who are planning their weddings asking me for Una's contact!!

Una is a very talented floral designer and she knows what she is doing! All I can tell you is TRUST her! She will not disappoint you and will make it better than in your wildest dreams!

I absolutely LOVED the Flower Lab! Not only do they do amazing work, the owner, Tweeny, is SO sweet! I think she has a permanent smile on her face and her love for her work really shows.

They have an amazing range in styles of which they are capable of providing. Each time I stopped in I saw completely different "looks" of floral and I thought each one was gorgeous, even when it wasn't my taste.

They were super responsive and flexible, made quantity changes, added things, etc and provided revised pricing almost immediately. Tweeny was also very respectful of my budget and worked to achieve the look I was going for with flowers that would fit my budget. She never pressured me to exceed it.

My flowers came out beautiful and looked just like the image I had in my head. Couldn't have made a better choice!

I used The Flower Lab for my June wedding and I could not have been happier with my flowers. Tweeny was so fantastic to work with. The flowers turned out so beautiful and exactly how I had envisioned them. Tweeny had great suggestions that really helped me with making decisions. I hade so many compliments from our guests. Flowers were one of the things I didn't wanna skimp on!
After meeting with Tweeny in her beautiful shop in Santa Monica, we knew that she was our florist.

I heart Tweeny - she's a great person to be around, she's open to your ideas, and gets giggly excited about every floral detail you can think of. After so many weddings, she still gets excited to discuss every bride's dreams and wishes.

I thought it was super cool, also, that she was a scientist in her past life - because she fuses her creativity with mathematical precision - and with that combination, she delivers the stuff of fantasies. She was able to execute our gi-normous centerpieces that were both imposing and delicate at the same time. All the flowers that she used were beautiful and blended with our earthy-purply-brown theme.

We could not have picked a better florist. To this day, I still hear compliments about our flowers and our centerpieces. Very, very well done! Thank you for sharing your talents with us on our special day!

For our 9/22 wedding, Tweeny and her team delivered an impressive set of gorgeous arrangements. Again, we are picky when it comes to everything, and I would have to admit that only two vendors we hired went above and beyond our expectations. Tweeny was one of those two. We met with ten florists in the LA area and Tweeny was the only one that really listened to our vision and executed it perfectly. I liked the back and forth communication I had with her; she never minded that I kept changing my mind on small things. She never tried to push her own agenda and just did an amazing job and the bouquets, corsages, centerpieces, pomanders, cake flowers, and boutonnieres were beautiful and elegant. I would definitely hire her again and recommended her without hesitation. She also has a letterpress and I would want to hire her for invitations and stationery in the future.

Excellent!!!! Tweeny is the best to work with. She makes you feel comfortable and is willing to work with your budget and not make you feel bad (others did). She is also very ethical and trustworthy. She was unable to find stock for the wedding that week but replaced them with gorgeous roses of the same color and did not charge me more because she said that the contract was for stock. The flower arrangements and huppah were stunning!!! Thank you!

We hired Tweeny for our wedding at the Victorian in Santa Monica on 09-22-12. She did a beautiful job on every piece. I really liked working with her because she has a great design esthetic and is relaxed and very professional. I gave her the colors I wanted and a brief description of the size and shape and she suggested great flowers that were in bloom during September. We also we able to go with her to the flower market downtown to look at all the flowers she was choosing ahead of time.
When I arrived art our venue everything was set up and it looked gorgeous. When we discovered we had miscounted and needed one more boutonniere, one of her assistants made one on the spot. It was a great day and the flowers were amazing. I would recommend the Flower Lab for any event that needs a touch of beauty.

We used Tweeny and The Flower Lab for our wedding flowers on 7/14/12. From the beginning, Tweeny was super nice and very attentive. Before meeting with her, I was super confused because I had NO clue what I was doing, what flowers to choose, how things were going to fit into our budget, etc. At our first meeting, I brought a bunch of pictures that I had saved of centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres that I liked. She was able to give me EXACTLY what I wanted and was able to work within our budget, which was very important to us (and such a relief, after seeing quotes from other florists, I was absolutely certain I was going to have to make alternate flower selections). She also decorated our wedding arch perfectly with paper garlands I had purchased prior. That probably wasn't easy for her to do, and the end result was gorgeous. I'll definitely be sure to recommend Tweeny and The Flower Lab to all of my bride friends!

Tweeny is so very creative and we really appreciated that she worked with us even though we had a smaller wedding. The bouquets were just the right size and not too heavy. all the boutonieres, table arrangements and other assorted flowers and petals just made for beautiful decoration all around. Tweeny from the Flower Lab made our wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!! She was wonderful from the first day we met her. She was very creative and flexible with all of our ideas. She was also very reasonable and offered suggestions about how to make the flowers more affordable. She is such a wonderful and sweet person to work with! She was always very responsive and willing to answer any questions that we had. About a month before our wedding she took us to the flower market downtown to help us get more ideas. It was a great trip. She also arranged for a centerpiece preview before the wedding.

The flowers that she arranged for the wedding day were so so beautiful! She put in so much effort into making sure everything turned out perfect. She also made sure that everything from the ceremony was transferred to the reception so that nothing went to waste. The centerpieces turned out just as we had imagined them! People told us that it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been too!

I don't know what to say. I can't talk about Flower Lab without getting freaked-out excited!! When my fiance and I began looking for a wedding florist, we were looking for affordable and creative, two things that didn't seem to match up with most of the potential vendors we found. When I saw the beautiful photos on the Flower Lab's site, I was honestly afraid to look at the pricing sheet. I was stunned to find the lowest floral prices we had seen in all of our searching.

We booked our appointment with Tweeny right away. When we got there, she was super nice and made the whole process of coming up with ideas and a quote fast and painless. We were blown away by her ideas for our ceremony and reception. We booked her as fast as we could.

During our appointment, we also snuck a peek at some stunning winter centerpieces in the shop that were about to go to a party. Amazing!

In February, we returned to the Flower Lab for the Valentine's Day flower sale! Again, great ideas and gorgeous flowers everywhere! I surprised my fiance by pre-ordering a hollow book that opened to reveal a beautiful flat arrangement of roses. We were so excited to see that the store now included Tiny Wren Press, a line of letterpress cards. At that point, we had already designed but not ordered cards elsewhere, so we resisted ordering invitations here, but it was a hard call. So, so cute.

Our wedding flowers were just beautiful. I've gotten so many compliments on how gorgeous and unique they all turned out. I couldn't be happier! I can't say enough times how fun, exciting, and stress-free it has been, working with The Flower Lab.

I hired Tweeny, from The Flower Lab, when the florist that my husband's family chose left me very doubtful of his capability to deliver what I wanted. I let my husband's family use their florist set up for the reception and I hired Tweeny for the ceremony. The groom, who was looking over the setup at the reception and ceremony site, told me that Tweeny arrived early and she was quick (which was important because time was very limited) and did an awesome job. He was very happy with her work and when I saw the ceremony site, so was I. I was amazed. Everything was so beautiful.
My bouquet, which I wanted it to be quite large, was spectacular. As expected, it was heavy but it was GREAT. The bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous as well- simple and elegant.
Tweeny worked with my theme and budget. I wish I had hired her for the reception too... the family vendor ended up showing up an hour and a half late. I definitely recommend The Flower Lab- excellent service and the quality of the flowers was great.

Tweeny was awesome! She incorporated our ideas with her expertise and created art with flowers. She delivered more than was expected and was very accomodating to our price range. She provided ideas for saving money (i.e. using center pieces from the ceremony to the reception, same color flowers just a less expensive version). Everything looked fresh the whole evening even though it was a hot summer day. She was very quick to respond to emails and new ideas. Tweeny was one of the best vendors I worked with and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a fabulous florist.

The Flower Lab did an amazing job on the flowers at my wedding! Tweeny was referred to me by my coordinator Hustle and Bustle and after interviewing a few florists she stood out as the one who really listened to what I wanted and her warm and bubbly personality made her a joy to interact with. Tweeny and Tiffany did a great job. They really listened to our requests and basic concepts, then quickly turned it into a proposal that fit our budget. They steered us in the right direction while still taking our input into consideration.

I didn't really have that much of an idea of what to expect until a few hours before the ceremony, but everything went off without a hitch, and looked perfect, far exceeding my expectations. Despite the fact that they were doing this as a personal favor and not at full cost, I always felt like I was working with true professionals. They responded quickly to requests for changes or updates.

We had nothing but compliments about how beautiful everything looked, and people were even trying to snag extra centerpieces.

I had the BEST time working with Tweeny for the flowers at my wedding! I was referred to her after having a hard time with several florists understanding my vision for flowers (a very natural, wild/loose look with purples and ivories). Others were trying to alter my vision into something THEY wanted, and I was having a hard time getting them to hear me. When I looked at The Flower Lab blog and saw a picture of EXACTLY what I wanted, I felt so relieved. It took only one conversation with Tweeny to feel like she really understood what I wanted and to be onboard. When she showed me the sample for the centerpieces, it was just right! She communicates very well via email (a must for me, since I am not able to use the phone during the workday). She was also able to make adjustments right up until a few weeks before the wedding (I had to reduce the number of centerpieces and add some other things). I feel that I got excellent service for the price (it was a bit more than I wanted to spend originally, but it was so worth the money to see it all come together).

A bit about the flowers... they were all GREAT quality and held up extremely well the whole day (and night). My bouquet is drying and nothing has started falling apart. I did not want any roses or orchids (I was going for a more free-flowing look without structure), and Tweeny did not try to up-sell me or discourage me in any way.

I think any bride in the Los Angeles area owes it to herself to pay a visit to The Flower Lab. This woman gets it!

Tweeny is so cute and she really goes out of her way to please her clients. I was very picky about my centerpieces and they turned out phenomenal. Many of my guests complimented on how beautiful my centerpieces were, even one that used to be a florist. I loved loved loved the centerpieces too and was so sad to see them go at the end of the night since I couldn't take all of them home. I made so many changes through e-mail with Tweeny and she was accommodating every step of the way. She even transported the altar pieces from the church to my venue for no additional charge, as other florists charge a transportation fee. Her prices are reasonable. I can't wait for the photos to show off the centerpieces. Thanks Tweeny!

Tweeny Kau from the Flower Lab is absolutely amazing. We couldn't be more thrilled that she was our florists. Our family and guests loved the gorgeous, lush, and romantic flowers that Flower Lab created for us. Tweeny is extremely sweet and she works with all types of budgets. Tweeny and the Flower Lab is the best find in L.A. for flowers!!! Her arrangements are exquisite and she was such a joy to work with! From the first meeting with her, I just knew I had to hire her:) She got my vision right away, and really got into the spirit of my untraditional ideas or the flora and fawna of the wedding! She thinks outside the box and came up with some really original ideas which I loved!

She works out of her house in Santa Monica so her prices are very reasonable, since she doesn't have overhead costs:) You will feel like you should be paying triple the price for what you get...it's amazing!

Do yourself a favor, stop looking for a florist now! Tweeny's the only one you'll need!

Tweeny is the sweetest! She is helpful, responsible, and her flower arrangements were beautiful! She figured out exactly what I was looking for and offered suggestions on what would go well together, all while keeping things under budget. She was flexibile with my changes and all the flowers were delivered and set up on time without a hitch.

Tweeny is nothing short of amazing! I never had the opportunity to speak with Tweeny in person due to my wedding being in a diff city than I lived in. Everything was done over email. I basically send her multiple pictures of flowers, centerpieces that I liked, and my wedding color. Then I just let her run with it. The day of the wedding she came in with my bouquet and it took my breath away! Everything was more than I could have ever hoped for. It made the day that much more special witht the beauty she created.

I only wish I could've had Tweeny do the flowers for our wedding, but alas it was in another state. I don't know if she'll branch out eventually but she did do our wedding invitations instead and they were beautiful. She is highly detailed oriented and has a great eye for design. I trusted her to choose the right color and took her advice on layouts if I was unsure. The design and color were amazing. As many have noted she is terrific to work with (even if you have a smaller budget!). You will definitely get quality work regardless.

Tweeny was a pleasure to work with. We just gave her a general idea of what we liked and she executed it beautifully. On our wedding day, we did not have to worry about the flowers at all. Everything was exactly where it was supposed to be and it all looked amazing. We got lots of complements. She was very easy to communicate with, and very flexible with any changes we made along the way. On top of the excellent service, we found her prices very reasonable.

We would definitely recommend The Flower Lab to anyone looking for a florist for their wedding.

After searching high and low for a florist, I finally found The Flower Lab. I had a terrific experience working with them. Tweeny offers well-crafted, creative flower arrangements that are reasonably priced. My flower arrangements were customized to reflect my personal style and the Flower Lab flawlessly implemented every last detail. The flowers tied everything together beautifully and I'm still receiving compliments nearly a month later! Tweeny was truly a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions and gave great suggestions, but never insisted we spend more money than we were comfortable spending. A highlight included visiting the Flower Market downtown, which was an added bonus, and not something most other florists are willing to share with clients. If you are looking for something a little different from run-of-the-mill wedding flowers without the "couture florist" attitude, you will be pleased with The Flower Lab's creations!

I don't even know where to begin! We were beyond pleased with The Flower Lab! From our first conversation to the day of our wedding Tweeny was a dream to work with- my favorite vendor by far. She was so patient and attentive with my many changes and emails and never seemed to be bothered.

My flowers were amazing! Her attention to detail, creative eye, and use of the freshest blooms were noticed by all! I especially appreciated the darling little extras of those pink ribbons with the starfish on them that were on the DJ table and also the extra bouquet for our guest table. I continue to get comments from guests as well as friends who could not make it telling me what a beautiful reception it was- all due to Tweeny! Her expertise regarding flowers and advice on the linens were so appreciated!

From the beginning, Tweeny treated us with warmth and great respect. We felt really comfortable meeting and discussing what sort of flower arrangement we would like to have and then some. She's very flexible and open to any suggestions. She really caters to what you really want and the same time communicates and provides pictures just to give you an idea what it would looked like. Tweeny at The Flower Lab was an absolute joy to work with. She was very professional, had creative ideas, was very willing to listen to my wants and ideas for my wedding, and was very easy going. Her passion and excitement are easily transferred during the planning process, and helped me really enjoy my wedding planning. She also coordinated a trip to the Downtown LA flower market which really helped me get ideas for my floral arrangements. The day of the wedding, she was prompt, very quick to set up, and the flowers looked amazing! I got so many compliments and was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful everything turned out. I couldn't imagine things any more perfect than they turned out! I would DEFINITELY recommend The Flower Lab to friends and future brides. Her prices were also very reasonable, and I ended up spending more than I had anticipated, but it was definitely worth every penny and all on my own accord.

I was extremely amazed by the level of detail given to all floral arrangements with special attention to the floral arrangements in the reception hall. Our guests were so impressed with design of the overall decor. I met with the vendor on several occassions and many conversations to get the perfect combination of flowers for our event. What a wonderful job!!

Perfect!! Returned calls/emails quickly. Very flexible: I changed the flowers, number of bouquets, candles, etc many times and it was no problem. Tweeny was always in a good mood! Value: I told Tweeny what colors I liked, what flowers, and how much I wanted it to cost, and she did it!!! I could not be happier. I could not have asked for better flowers or for a better vendor. The Flower Lab (Tweeny) provided flowers for my wedding. Tweeny was extremely professional, timely and vey flexible throughout the entire planning stage. She listened to what I had in mind for my wedding and came up with a plan that reflected our style. She was also very flexible. I changed and added a few things and she was always very accommodating and responsive. On the day of my wedding, she came early and did a great job setting things up in a timely manner. My husband and I and all the guests were very impressed with the floral arrangements. They were just beautiful! Her prices were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend the Flower Lab for any wedding or special event.

Of all my vendors (and I loved them all), Tweeny and her flowers were THE most AMAZING. Tweeny is so sweet and easy to work with. I described what I envisioned, and when I saw my flowers on my wedding day, I was excited beyond words. She could not have captured my vision more perfectly. The colors, the arrangement, EVERYTHING was perfect. The value that Tweeny offers also amazed me. She was able to work with my budget, and the result was more than I would have expected from even one of those couture, ridiculously overpriced florists. I was so pleased and cannot recommend Tweeny highly enough. I am SO glad I found her web site online and ultimately selected her as my florist.

There are no words to describe how happy we are that we were referred to Tweeny at The Flower Lab. She was a pleasure to work with, and her choice of flowers and the arrangements she put together were absolutely gorgeous! She was also very flexible about my completely changing the color scheme less than a week before the wedding. I was sending her last minute requests (for flowers for my hair) the day before the wedding, and she continued to say, "okay, no problem!" She is just one of the nicest, sweetest, and most competent people I have had the pleasure of doing business with - ever!!

I'm also very excited that the photographer admired the flowers so much that he took photos of them so they will be captured for all eternity because I plan to transfer the image to canvas- yes, the flowers were THAT beautiful Tweeny is an brillant artist

I really do not have anything negative to say about The Flower Lab. When I first found The Flower Lab and asked for a quote, I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was too good to be true. Tweeny, who owns The Flower Lab, was really sweet in her e-mail and quoted me on exactly what I wanted. But not only that, she also gave me GREAT ideas as alternatives - either for a different look or to help lower my costs. Her cost for services and flowers were EXCEPTIONAL, and I really did think it was too good to be true. Her costs were so much better than most of the LA florists that I had asked quotes from. I asked to see some of her work and she suggested to take a peek at a wedding she was doing a couple of weeks later. When I arrived at the wedding, everyone was setting up so we quickly found Tweeny while she was working. Things looked so beautiful, organized, and the best part for me was that Tweeny and her assistant were both having so much fun doing their jobs.
I met with Tweeny a few more times after our first meeting - we talked via e-mail with ideas, and I also met up with her at the flower market in downtown LA (also because I had never gone before) to look at flower and just kind of point out flowers and colors that I liked. Tweeny was always really responsive and always gave me her feedback which i really appreciated.
I had a lot of fun working with Tweeny. My flowers at the wedding turned out just the way I had imagined - classy and sophisticated. I was actually sad that I didn't get to spend more time the day of looking all her arrangements that she did for us. I noticed after the wedding that she went the extra mile in her arrangements (included details in my centerpieces that added beautifully to the look) and also packaged throwing rose petals and tied them all in individual clear bags. And all without extra costs. Our bouquets were beautiful and the flowers were fresh and full.
When we got back from our honeymoon, we had a card from Tweeny wishing us the best; I thought it was really sweet of her to send that to us. The Flower Lab was one of my favorite vendors, and I'd definitely look into using them again for any future social/professional events.

Tweeny is super personable, knowledgable, and provided us with great value for budget. She listens to the needs of her clients and then arranges the types and color of flowers accordingly. She will provide you with a detailed estimate as a starting point and depending on what you want (more or less), she'll adjust accordingly. She will also work with clients from out of town (such as ourselves). My daughter was very particular in choosing a florist for her wedding. She wanted someone whom she could work with and who went beyond the ordinary in creating flower arrangements. After many interviews and recommendations she finally chose Una at Flower Lab. Una did not disappoint. Her creations transcend the bland and the average. She is also very patient, flexible, and easy to work with. She is able to translate the clients’ vision into a reality while also meeting budget constraints. Una did an outstanding job for my daughter’s wedding. Her gorgeous bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces created such special moments for the wedding couple as well as for all who were involved in the wedding. Una exceeded my daughter’s and my expectations which is often very difficult to do. In addition, all the flowers added so much to the wedding photos. They were timeless and so memorable. Tweeny from the Flower Lab did my flowers at my wedding, and Tweeny and her team did an amazing job. My flowers were beautiful and fresh. The centerpieces were gorgeous and were exactly what I asked for and very well put together. They even took the time to put together a gorgeous and artistic design for my aisle. Tweeny has a very high quality of work. My colors in my wedding were incorporated in every aspect with the flowers, and all my guests raved how beautiful my wedding looked with the fresh flowers. In addition, the Flower Lab helped me put together my arbor and clean-up as well.

I highly recommend the Flower Lab to anyone planning any event.

Tweeny was a Doll to work with. We were tight on budget and gave her a general idea of what we wanted. She executed it perfectly. On our wedding the flowers were decorated SO beautifully that almost everyone was complimenting and attracted to her creativity. She gave us excellent service and she was very friendly too. She has the BEST prices.
