Beautiful Flowers!

The flowers for my wedding day were so beautiful. I told Vanessa that we wanted bright colors for the wedding and gave her pictures of the bridesmaids dresses, just to give her an idea of the colors that would be in the wedding. She did an absolutely amazing job not only picking bright, beautiful and unique flowers but she made sure the flowers tied in all of the colorful bridesmaids dresses together!

Magical arrangements!

Vanessa and her team helped bring my dreams to life for my wedding. She was creative and inspiring when discussing my wedding day. Due to Covid we had to postpone our wedding and Vanessa was very accommodating and understanding. She created the bouquet for my last minute intimate ceremony and it was perfect.

For our larger celebration, Vanessa met with us a few times. She always was so kind, respectful, organized, professional and innovative. Our wedding day flowers were better than I could ever have imagined and I can’t thank Vanessa and the team at Flower Kiosk enough!

Beautiful flowers that tied our whole wedding together!

I booked Flower Kiosk in August 2020 for my wedding in June 2021 and could not have been happier with how the florals came out! I worked with Vanessa after my venue (The Red Barn at Outlook Farm) suggested Flower Kiosk as a preferred vendor. I knew from our first conversation I was in great hands. I walked into our meeting with a few inspiration photos and colors, but was flexible in terms of types of flowers and arrangements. Vanessa knew the venue so well and could tell me where I would likely want focal pieces or space fillers and what those might look like. She was incredibly professional, fun and creative.

I requested some sentimental customizations on my bouquet just a couple weeks before my wedding and the end result brought me to tears (in a good way!). I also asked her to decorate our cake with flowers a few weeks before the wedding and with just a short description over the phone she managed to make the cake look exactly how I pictured it! I got so many compliments from our guests on the flowers and Flower Kiosk will definitely be my first call for any future flower needs.

The floral arrangements of my dreams! Vanessa of Flower Kiosk was incredible to work with and her talents are extraordinary. She really listened to what we love (and don't love) and worked creatively to provide the most stunning arrangements for our wedding day - and within our budget. Do yourself a favor and hire Flower Kiosk (and go visit their adorable shop!).

I worked with Vanessa for my St. Patrick’s Day wedding. She went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Everything from the entrance arrangement, to the mantle, to the bouquets were simply perfect.

Vanessa was wonderful to work with from our first consultation to our wedding day. I trusted her vision and knowledge of flowers 1000%. My flowers were more beautiful than I could have imagined. Perfect Experience!

As someone who works in Portsmouth, NH and got married in Kittery, ME, Flower Kiosk was a convenient and local option. I couldn't have been more pleased with their service! I didn't have a strong vision for my wedding flowers, so I let them take the lead and their familiarity with the venue and a quick meeting to learn more about my style ended up with them creating perfect arrangements! Vanessa was always easy to reach, flexible when the sizing of my tables changed and super honest and transparent about making sure we made the most of our budget. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I'd recommend them to anyone.

Worth Every Penny!

Vanessa was fantastic! From our first meeting she was so personable, calm, and organized. She immediately understood our aesthetic and gave amazing recommendations for types of flowers. She worked with our budget and made our wedding day absolutely magical! We wanted a very specific rose gold goblet for our centerpieces and she found one exactly like my Pinterest photo. The day of delivery went so smoothly, she was right on time with her bubbly smile and all the flowers were gorgeous! It was an absolute joy working with her. Worth every penny :)

Such a great experience!

I had to find a new florist fast within a month or so before our wedding due to complications, and Vanessa and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with everything we wanted! Our flowers came out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and gave my wedding the look I dreamed of! I highly suggest Flower Kiosk for anyone's wedding in the future!

The Beyoncé of Florists

First of all, let me start by telling you that Vanessa who owns Flower Kiosk is extremely cool with a huge smile so you know you’re in the right place. You meet, you chat about flowers, you smell flowers, everything is fun and relaxed. You go away, you prep for your wedding day, and on your wedding day Flower Kiosk blows your mind!!! These are creative talented people and they can bring it. And I’m not gonna lie we down played how judgemental our families were about flowed when we went in: big time gardeners on both sides, grandmas who won awards for their arrangements, master Gardners—the whole crazy package. And we had a n big vision for what we wanted but not so many specifics to go with it. And Vanessa and her team NAILED IT. We asked for tons of color, but if you wanted literally white roses and white peonies I bet Vanessa and her team would make it look like a freaking dream. Forget stuffy: their stuff is polished and lush and natural and effortless. And SLAYS. Our guests were blown away—many many people asked about the flowers after!! And for us it was such a gift: the flowers were a huge part of what made the wedding feel like us and feel personal. Thank you Flower Kiosk!

Pro tip: you can donate your flowers to local hospitals and hospice centers after the big day!

Exactly what I wanted - so beautiful

I had a hard time finding a flower place who would help me with the type of bouquet I wanted for a reasonable price. Once I got in touch with Vanessa things became super easy and relaxed. She did an outstanding job with my bouquet, as well as the boutonniere and the table settings. We were thrilled with her work.

Vanessa is a doll and her work is beyond impressive

I am so happy that I stumbled across The Flower Kiosk, an adorable little flower shop in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. I was so indecisive on who to choose to be my florist for my wedding and after reading other reviews and meeting with Vanessa, I knew I found the perfect person and the perfect place. Vanessa is probably the sweetest person there is. She is so understanding and patient and nice and she really knows her stuff. You can tell she loves her work which gave me confidence that she was going to do an amazing job. She's reassuring, professional, knows all of the latest trends, and very personable. She took the time to meet with me on more than one occasion and always answered my thousands of emails in a timely manner. I presented her with a huge mantel piece that I wanted as the backdrop of my ceremony at my venue and she delivered. It was so gorgeous and absolutely stunning. On my wedding day when I snuck into the ballroom before everyone was there I actually cried when I saw the setup of the centerpieces, the mantel piece, and the rose petals lining the aisle. It added so much to an already beautiful venue. I was at a loss for words when I saw my bridal bouquet. I love it so much that I had it preserved immediately after! Her work is so impressive, beautiful, and cohesive. She's amazing. If you're stuck on deciding on a florist then make it easy on yourself and call The Flower Kiosk now!

Beautiful flowers!

Vanessa was so easy to work with. She was super responsive to my emails and questions, and so nice when I met her in person. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, I got so many compliments on my bouquet! Definitely recommend!!

I need to gush for a minute about Vanessa at The Flower Kiosk. I am what many might call a “control freak” and it’s very hard for me to relinquish control. From my very first meeting with Vanessa I knew I was in good hands. She understood the look and vibe I was going for yet we were vague about it- leaving it open for Vanessa to work her magic. I wanted texture, color and some earthy components with succulents and air plants all mixed with various pieces of driftwood (collected by us, friends and family all summer). To say that she nailed it is a total understatement. I couldn’t have imagined it better.
Not only is Vanessa insanely talented but she was simply amazing to work worth. Thank you again for everything! The Flower Kiosk will be my one and only for all floral needs here on out!

We can't even begin to say enough about our experience with Vanessa from the Flower Kiosk! She is lovely, responsive, and so creative! We had an initial consultation with her where we gave her our budget, a list of what our expectations were and what we were looking for. Between then and our final meeting, we conversed multiple times via email to update our flower list as things changed. Right before the wedding, we had a final meeting with her to finalize all of the details. Our flowers were STUNNING!! They came out so much better than we had expected, were delivered to the venue and set up, and they came in UNDER our budget! Everything was perfect, my bouquet was better than I had ever dreamed. I absolutely loved working with Betsy at the Flower Kiosk. Flowers are one of my favorite parts of a wedding, and I had a specific vision of how I wanted them to look. She incorporated all of my ideas, suggested some other great ones, and produced a final look that was absolutely stunning. Throughout the whole wedding I found myself telling guests, “and look at how beautiful these flowers are!” because I was just so in love with them. I received comments all night about my bouquet and how well the centerpieces came together. My photographer even said, “I love doing weddings with Flower Kiosk because they nail it every time, and these are the perfect example of that.” Her creations were really one of the highlights of the day for me, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding flourist in this area.

Working with Betsy and Vanessa was delightful! Choosing flowers for our wedding was something I looked forward to so much and Betsy was so creative and thoughtful -she listened to my "vision" and seemed equally excited to brainstorm along with me. In the end she was able to accommodate our budget and help us create an absolutely beautiful wedding -the flowers were really the focal point of the decorations. In the beginning of our planning I asked if we could create a whimsical, garden feel, and the final product was beyond what I imagined. Our guests came up to us describing the wedding as a "whimsical, enchanted forest!": mission accomplished. The most special touch was the beautiful flower crown made of spray roses, thistle, and rosemary; it was exactly what I hoped it would be and I will always keep it to remember the day. Thank you Betsy and Vanessa for making our wedding day so magical!

I knew I wanted to work with Vanessa after I saw her work with my sister's wedding. Meeting with her put me at such ease; she knew my vision honestly more than I think I knew! She kept us on budget and literally brought my dream to life. I was in utter disbelief when I saw the bouquets, then the church and lastly the venue. We had an amazing experience working with Vanessa and the Flower Kiosk! Our wedding was held in the barn and I knew that I wanted to have flower centerpieces on each table and big baskets on barrels that were at the front of the barn. I gave Vanessa the guidance of wanting the flowers to look like they were freshly picked from the field. What she created was better than I could have ever imagined-she used tons of different textures and alternate flowers that made them unique and beautiful. She also created amazing bouquets for my maid of honor and I-and she personally delivered them to me which was an awesome touch. Finally she was made beautiful flowers for the alter at the church and took care of all deliveries so I had nothing to worry about. I can't thank Vanessa enough for what an amazing job she did with the flowers!!!

The bouquet and centerpieces were better than anything I ever could have imagined. The flowers were beautifully arranged and put together and stunning. Vanessa worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted while adhering or our budgets.

Gorgeous, creative wedding flowers for church ceremony, reception buffet tables and centerpieces as well as personals! Lovely combination of traditional roses with accents of thistle, delphinium, and hydrangea. Queen Anna lace added softness and succulants made very unique and interesting textures. Each flower perfectly chosen for its context. Highly recommend. Guests took home centerpieces and enjoyed their beauty for a week after wedding, they were so fresh!

I was absolutely blown away with Flower Kiosk, from the day I stepped foot into the shop to the wedding day, everything was perfect. The Flower Kiosk is as good as it gets. For some reason, choosing flowers was something I was dreading, I felt so overwhelmed by options, price, and my wedding "vision". Have no fear Vanessa is here! Vanessa made me feel comfortable the minute I walked in the door. She just "got me". She worked within my budget, told me what was cool and not cool in the flower world and helped form my vision without being pushy or upselling. Not only are Vanessa and her group talented and professional, they are kind and warm. I showed her pictures on pinterest and she created! The day before my wedding when the flowers came in there was an issue with the color of my bridesmaids bouquets. For some reason, the dahlias this year did not go with the color flow we had envisioned....due to this mishap Vanessa upgraded my flowers at no charge to fit the color scheme and feel of the day and they looked stunning!! I felt like it was meant to be all along. She hand delivered the flowers herself on my big day (a welcome smiling face) and when I saw my venue flowers and centerpieces my jaw dropped! Truly perfection. I expected Flower Kiosk to be the most expensive since they have such a wonderful reputation, but I price compared with another florist who did not make me feel nearly as comfortable and understood with less flowers to boot, at a higher price! I would choose the Flower Kiosk over and over again, and will be returning for future flower needs :)

Betsy and her creations are absolutely amazing. We had a very specific vision for our wedding, and she took that vision and ran with it. We wanted a fun, colorful, summery wedding that fit our coastal, June day and this Floridian bride. Betsy listened to all of my random ideas and helped us focus in on great pieces that not only were beautiful but truly reflected my husband and I. We absolutely loved all of our florals--from mine and my bridesmaids' bouquets to the groomsmen's boutonnieres to the special wearable pieces she created for our families to our centerpieces, cocktail table pieces, and sweetheart table garland. Betsy's gorgeous work helped make our day everything we wanted it to be, and so much more!

Betsy did a great job with our flowers and other table designs, she listened closely to the theme we wanted and implemented it perfectly. We had a long lead time before our event and she even made some sample centerpieces for us with no extra charge. When I walked into the reception the day of the wedding it all looked even better than I imagined it could have, the colors and layout were just lovely.

Betsy did a phenomenal job with the flowers for our wedding. We had very specific ideas, and she executed them perfectly! She helped me pick out flowers appropriate for our winter wedding, and everything arrived fresh and beautiful. Betsy was so easy and responsive to work with which was vital since my daughter lives in Baltimore and I live here in NH. My daughter had a very clear idea of the romantic effects she desired and Betsy brought us there. Balancing particulars of floral preferences with seasonal availabities and cost consciousness. Betsy was open to evolving ideas as the wedding neared and graciously accommodated us. The guests remarked again and again on the loveliness of the flowers and how they supported the beautiful seaside location at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Portsmouth, NH. Betsy also works wonderfull with the wedding events planner there.

Betsy is simply amazing. She turned what would be a normal, regular wedding tent into a magical place that not only matched our vision but exceeded it! And my bouquet was prettier than I could have imagined!! My husband and I saw the tent for the first time separately, and I only wished we could have seen each others reactions because they were the same....pure awe and joy and thankfulness to Betsy for making it all so perfect. She also goes above and beyond that of a florist, she was so helpful in accommodating our requests and finding little special touches that just enhanced the entire look of the tent! ( I LOVED the birdcage she provided for our cards, it was exactly what I was envisioning!!!) Many thanks to Betsy and her team for being a part of our day and making is so beautiful!!

Flower Kiosk provided the flowers for our rehearsal dinner Centerpieces they were beautiful! They were the exact size and colors we had requested. They delivered on time to the venue, were set up, and we were able to take them home and use them at our ceremony the next day. I would highly recommend them!

I have always loved the Flower Kiosk shop with it's nature inspired theme and products. So it was the only choice for me when choosing my wedding florist. Betsy was so much fun to work with and was totally inspired by my wedding ideas and vision. I wanted to have a nature, beach-inspired theme with birds, flowers, shells etc. The Flower Kiosk provided exactly what I wanted for the ceremony and the reception. It was simple and elegant yet fun and whimsical at the same time. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding.

Betsy was AMAZING - the flowers came out even more beautiful than I had envisioned. She is so sweet and is willing to accommodate anything you want. She did our bouquets, table arrangements, boutonnieres, and flowers for the pews in the church. She also accommodated my mother-in-law last minute and did some table arrangements for our rehearsal dinner! I cannot say enough positive things about Betsy or her work. I highly recommend her. Betsy and the entire Flower Kiosk team did such an amazing and beautiful job for our October wedding. Betsy is so creative, warm and professional and really works with you to capture your vision. I could not have asked for anything to be different, when I saw my bouquet, the boutonnieres and centerpieces I was blown away. She also created the most beautiful flower crowns and wands for my flower girls AND the cutest flower collar for our dog. Betsy and her staff at the Flower Kiosk went above and beyond all of our expectations!!! Betsy is a truly wonderful and talented person who shares her love and passion of flowers with her costumers. My husband and I were out of state costumers, however with Betsy's quick response and willingness to speak to us at any moment whether it be by a phone call or e-mail was very welcoming. Any changes to my wedding order she was very accommodating and willing to provide any service needed to make our day special. Betsy is so passionate about what she does. I'm not someone who knows much about flowers, to say the least, so I was a little intimidated by the idea of meeting with a florist; however, Betsy was sweet and helpful. She listened to my ideas and color requests, and she was careful to stay within our budget while still providing the most stunningly-beautiful bouquets and decorated arbor! We used Flower Kiosk for our September 2012 wedding and we are so happy with our choice! Betsy and the rest of the Flower Kiosk staff were wonderful to work with. I worked with Betsy from the Flower Kiosk for my December 31, 2011 wedding at the Portsmouth Sheraton. Betsy was a pleasure to work with and was incredibly flexible and professional. Our flowers were gorgeous. The Flower Kiosk provided our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and greenery for our sweetheart and placecard table. Betsy took the time to meet with me, the groom and my parents to ensure that she knew our personalities and our vision for our wedding. Betsy was able to make the image in our heads come to life perfectly. We asked for items such as round mirrors to place our centerpieces on and votive candles for each table. Betsy was able to obtain them both and both were high quality. The candles were lit to the very end of the wedding, which was impressive since we had a 6.5 hour reception to ring in the new year!

Betsy was always available for questions via e-mail, phone and in person.

I would highly recommend Betsy and the Flower Kiosk to any bride in the Seacoast area.

I love the Portsmouth area - and had been in to the Flower Kiosk many times before I even got engaged. I knew that when we started to plan our wedding that Betsy would be the one to do our flowers. Her shop is fantastic - filled with all things that are absolutely my style. From the moment we met with Betsy she completely got what we wanted and how to capture our wedding theme. The Flower Kiosk is amazing! We had a different florist originally, but she just seemed to have no idea what she was doing, so coming to the Flower Kiosk and working with Betsy was really great! She could envision exactly what we wanted just from us talking about it, and she made bouquets and centerpieces that were even more beautiful than I could have imagined! She even hand-made a white birch bark vase for us to have as a centerpiece in the front entry space! The flowers were so healthy and vibrant, I didn't even end up throwing out the centerpieces until weeks later! I would most certainly recommend the Flower Kiosk to everyone!

Julie at the flower Kiosk was amazing. She paid very close attention to my ideas and vision for our wedding, and coordinated all of our flowers perfectly. Julie responded timely, answered all of my questions, and provided useful feedback. Julie willingly searched various countries for a specific flower I wanted when she discovered it was out of bloom here in the US. She also provided alternatives. Julie coordinated the blue, yellow and orange hues beatifully among our wedding party, ceremony and reception site. My bouquet was beautiful! Julie and Betsy arranged drop-off leaving me with one less thing to stress over! I am so pleased that I chose the flower kiosk and had the privilege of working with Julie. Vanessa was a dream to work with and her arrangements were gorgeous. She worked with our tight budget, delivered everything not just on time but an HOUR early, and the flowers lasted an entire WEEK after our big day. She used what we knew we wanted (orange callas), what we responded to at the shop (eucalyptus greens—that smell, swoon!), and our vague ideas (maybe roses?) to create the perfect arrangements for our wedding. We cannot recommend the Flower Kiosk highly enough!!

I am so glad we booked The Flower Kiosk for our wedding! Betsy and Vanessa really worked with me to understand my vision for wedding flowers and were very respectful of our budget for flowers. They put together bouquets, nosegays, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and about 20 smaller arrangements in bottles to place throughout the venue. All of the flowers were beautiful, and the bouquets and centerpieces completely exceeded my expectations. They were everything I hoped for, but didn't think I could afford for my wedding. Betsy really went above and beyond for our wedding flowers! From the moment we met at our original meeting all the way to the wedding day, she "got" me and my vision for our wedding florals. She never pushed, and really tried her best to put together exactly what we asked for. She even went as far as calling and texting me pictures a few days before the wedding to let me approve the flowers/colors she was buying. It was all spot-on, and everyone is STILL talking about how beautiful the flowers were! I've never seen flowers, bouquets, arrangements, and centerpieces as beautiful as what she provided and what we came up with together. I only took off a little rating because the guy's boutonnieres were a bit wilted, but if that's the only thing, then I'm not complaining! Reasonably priced, totally flexible, and a joy to work with. Flower Kiosk does beautiful wedding flower arrangements and Betsy was helpful, professional and didn’t try to upsell us on things we didn’t need. I received so many compliments on the tulips and the table arrangements, and people were delighted to take them home for Mother’s Day! The prices are quite steep, but I would still highly recommend Flower Kiosk for the quality of the flowers and the superb customer service.

The staff at Flower Kiosk are personable and kind. Vanessa was willing to customize something to my wedding and paid attention to the details that were meaningful to me.

Although there was a quality issue on the day of my wedding, Vanessa and staff worked very hard to make it right and ensure that my bridal bouquet looked good in the end. The staff was apologetic for the issue and made sure that it was corrected in every way possible. I really appreciated their integrity and willingness to stand behind their work and their product.

Flowers were beyond gorgeous. We used the flower kiosk for bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, and ceremony and reception decorations. Betsy, the owner, had a consultation with us about what flowers we'd like and what types of arrangements we'd want. She then emailed us a price for the total request. They were able to deliver the bouquets to the hotel for photos and set up the flowers at the venue. Great service and amazing products!

We walked into Betsy's shop on a whim after looking at venue sites in the Portsmouth area - she sat us right down and we began to talk about colors and ideas and showed us pictures of her work. I was completely clueless but she took notes and scratched out things as we came up with better concepts. It took 3 meetings and the final outcome was amazing! Betsy and team are amazingly talented and aren't afraid to give her opinion if there are better flower options than what you originally thought of! Would highly recommend the Flower Kiosk to anyone getting married in Portsmouth.

Betsy at Flower Kiosk did a fabulous job with the flowers for our wedding. She handled every detail of decorating the church and our event tent. We had a specific budget for flowers, and she worked with us to ensure that the flowers would add grace and beauty to the day without exceeding our budget.

Betsy is an artist with her flowers and she appreciates it when brides and grooms enjoy the process.

My bouquet was very unique and designing it was one of my favorite parts of planning my wedding! Since I had a clear sense of what I wanted -- I liked how the staff at Flower Kiosk let me pick out the flowers that I wanted, but were on hand to answer any questions or concerns I had about particular stems and their ability to withstand heat. The end result was gorgeous.

My only criticism is that whenever I called Flower Kiosk to ask a question -- I never was able to talk with the same person. That made things a little confusing. The staff also made a few changes to my design -- probably based on the availability of the particular flowers that I had asked for. They had warned me that this might be an issue. Although, I do wish that they had called me and told me in advance about the changes -- just so that I wasn't surprised on my wedding day. I had specifically asked not to have Lisianthus in my bouquet -- but there were some Lisianthus stems in there. But, maybe they were trying to help me keep the cost down -- as I was on a budget.

I also bought some blue Hydrangea stems from them for the reception. I was a little disappointed with those. They weren't very colorful, and they actually wilted quicker than the ones my sister had brought from her garden in NY. The Dusty Miller that I had in my bouquet -- although beautiful -- also did not hold up that well in the heat. I wish the staff had warned me about this possibility.

But, overall the floral designers showed tremendous skill in their execution. I liked the fact that because they have such a wide array of cut flowers to choose from in their shop that I was able to walk in and pick out my flowers -- playing around with things until I found the combination I wanted. This is so much better than looking at photos in magazines and trying to guess if things will look right.

Since I was having a small wedding I also did not order my bouquet too far in advance, and was happy with how they were able to accommodate me.

Overall I was very pleased. The Thistle and Scabiosa Pods were inspired. Thank you Flower Kiosk for having such a great selection! I also picked out some starfish from their shop, which they glued onto the brushed silk ribbon that they wrapped the bouquet in -- it was a great touch!

What I liked about this florist was her convenient location, her website, the photos she had of her previous work, her style ideas, and that her prices seemed reasonable at first. Also, her assistant was very good. And on the day of my wedding my flowers looked really, really good. HOWEVER, I would never, ever recommend this florist to another soul! First, although Betsy's initial bid was cheaper than another florist I'd considered, the final bill was much higher. Second, she kept sending erroneous (bad) contracts to me. They would have mistakes, and I'd call her and email her to correct them, only to get the same WRONG contract back again!! Third, she was not prompt at returning emails. Fourth, my bridal bouquet wilted soon after my wedding. Fifth, the price the florist quoted me on over the phone was not the price she put into the contract. She put a different, higher price in the contract, and there was not enough time before the wedding to resolve the issue, so I overpaid. The whole reason I hired a florist was so I wouldn't have to worry about the details - hiring THIS florist caused me to work harder and spend even MORE time than if I'd done the flowers myself. I wish I had either hired a different florist OR not hired any florist at all! This is a real shame considering her two assistants did such nice work... In summary, although the flowers looked really good on the day of my wedding, they were not worth all the time, effort and worrying that this florist caused us. I do not recommend using Flower Kiosk.
