The Exeter Inn is such a beautiful place. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the place is and how delicious the foods are. Shannon has been very helpful since the first day we visited the place. Overall, it was a great experience having my wedding there!

We had an evening wedding on 11/11/11 at The Exeter Inn with 80 guests. The ceremony and reception where both even more beautiful than we imagined and the food was outstanding. The staff made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish and they where attentive to all of our guests needs. Between the staff, the food and the architecture we could not have chosen a better venue.

Shannon couldn't have been more professional in helping us sort out last minute details and she was on top of everything through out the night of our wedding we didn't have to worry about anything. The knew head Chef far exceeded our expectations, the food was amazing!

I did not think I could afford the wedding reception I wanted to have ... but Shannon at the Exeter Inn met with us several times and helped us put together a reception that was within our price range and that was everything I'd hoped it would be and then some. She is professional, flexible, and above all dedicated to ensuring that your day is everything you want it to be. The venue itself is beautiful and the layout of the reception area is such that everyone can feel comfortable and connected. I could not be happier with my experience at the Inn.

I have received nothing but compliments from my guests. The outdoors for the ceremony was beautiful. Having the buffet in one room and the dancing in another was a perfect idea. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around easily. The staff was VERY attentive. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day very special. Shannon, the cooridinator was the best! I highly recommend The Exeter Inn for any function or just for a night out. The hotel rooms are great. My whole experience was fantastic. I can not thank every one there enough. The Exeter Inn was the perfect venue with professional personable coordinators that were one step ahead of us the entire planning process. I had my wedding at The Exeter Inn on February 5, 2011. I had looked at a lot of wedding venues, but none of them had everything I was looking for. I had heard about The Exeter Inn and decided to take a look. After one visit, I knew this is where I had to have my wedding. The elegance, charm and New England feel of the inn was exactly what I was looking for. I met with Shannon Cote, the Catering Sales Manager at the inn and meeting with her confirmed I had made the right decision. Shannon was so wonderful to work with. She is very professional & organized and yet I felt like I had known her for years. As my wedding day arrived, I had no idea how spectacular everything would turn out. Every aspect of our day was perfect. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. The day was everything I could have dreamed of. If I could do it all over again – I wouldn’t change a thing. Everyone at the inn strives to make your event the most beautiful and incredible experience you could ever imagine. This is a little late but our wedding was back in November 2010. We fell in love with the charm and quaintness of the Exeter Inn. We thought it was a different venue than we have been to and were thrilled when we saw the venue. It's not your typical ballroom layout which is the reason we loved it! The main ballroom is sectioned off by these beautiful french doors and are adjacent to the dance floor. It was perfect for our guests that were older or did not feel like dancing the entire night. I was a great flow from room to room. Shannon Cote was AMAZING to work with. We had a vision and Shannon made our visual come to life with the utmost professionalism, class and thoughtfulness. Our guests were thrilled with the venue. Loved the overnight accommodations and couldn't speak more highly of the food! It's been almost 10 months since we've been married and our friends & family are still commenting on how great of a time they had. We can't wait to go back year after year to celebrate our anniversary. It was the best day ever!

When you plan a party for 90 people you fantasize how perfect it could be in you mind. My reality is usually dashed by my unrealistic expectations. In this case my reality was far greater than my fantasies. It was nothing short of magical. The courtyard reception and ceremony was the perfect starting point. The atmoshpere was awe inspiring. The dinner of tapas was fabulous and dancing in the great hall, beautiful. The food was incredibly delicious and the ambiance the entire evening, perfect. I am still flying high and the many comments I continue to hear daily make me feel so special. If I heard it once, I heard it many times; this wedding was the classiest and best wedding people had ever attended. The staff made us feel like family and we consider the Exeter Inn a second home. We will return often to eat and drink and re-live our incredible memories.

They were attentive and flexible with our many concerns and requests which included reworking the floor plans a number of times to fit custom sized tables, selecting unique signature cocktails which were beautifully garnished with exotic flowers, and ensuring that we would be able to maximize the use of every space the Inn had to offer.

It was most important to us that our family and friends arrived to a comfortable atmosphere so that we could rest assured knowing the celebration was enjoyed by all. Our guests were filled with surprise and delight with the white glove service and superior cuisine. Those who stayed over were thrilled with the overnight accommodations since the rooms feature the most heavenly mattresses and a good night’s sleep is guaranteed.

There is not one thing I would change about our experience with the Exeter Inn. We had the ceremony in the Exeter Room and the dinner in the Wheelwright Room. We had a small wedding, only 25 people, and they treated us the same way they would have if we had 200 people. They thought of every little detail, were a pleasure to deal with (thank you Shannon!) and made the day absolutely perfect.

My husband and I have high standards, and the Exeter Inn exceeded every one of them. The food was excellent; every single person there was friendly and went above and beyond!

The Exeter Inn is the perfect venue for an upscale classic New England wedding. I was married there in early October 2009 and had my wedding ceremony and reception on site. We were looking for a venue that provided an elegant New England feel for our fall wedding. However, we did not want "rustic." When we toured the Exeter Inn, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. The reception room is beautiful with all of the arched windows and french doors. We did not want a banquet style room that most places offer. The Exeter Inn is warm and inviting with plenty of very comfortable overnight accommodations for all of our guests. The Exeter Inn has everything and more. They also have an on site catering manager/wedding coordinator who pulls everything together for you. Shannon is a true professional. With her easy-going style, she gently leads you through the planning process and delivers the wedding of your dreams. The food and service are impeccable. The Inn offers 'presidential style" dinner service which impressed our guests. Our guests are still talking about our wedding and how much fun they had. I am a very happy bride and have the pictures to prove it!

Shannon Cote was extremely helpful in our wedding planning and the Exeter Inn was perfect for our special day. The terrace and surrounding hedges made a perfect backdrop for our formal pictures.
