  Swoon worthy, jaw-dropping weddings!

  best. decision. ever!! a wedding only happens once, so why not have a creative, experienced, and detailed expert as your secret weapon? every detail exceeded any of my wildest dreams; guests are still picking their jaws up off the floor. I would highly recommend The Eventeur to all my friends, family, and even strangers!

  the best wedding expense/investment!

  We got married September 2019 in Playa del Carmen, MX, and decided to work with Mahla and her team (mainly Lorena) from The Eventeur. She/they were great and it was the single best investment on our wedding. So far I have always recommended her to couples thinking about a destination wedding. she really got involved from the start and helped us even explore options in Costa Rica and Dominican Republic, but because of where guests were coming from, we decided on Playa del Carmen. There again she helped us with finding the right hotel and wedding site for us. I think that because she takes a lot of time in getting to know the couple, her recommendations were always right on point.
  Because she gives the complete destination wedding service, she handled hotel, day trips and excursions for about 70 people, and the wedding day itself. We chose an all inclusive hotel in Tulum for family and friends and decided to do an off-site wedding. Every single guest at the hotel was incredibly happy with the hotel, their room, the beach, and the food. old people got quiet, young people got their drinks and parties, and young families even managed private pools by their rooms so baby could go from the pool straight to napping! We took a day trip to see the Chichen-Itza ruins, coupled with a visit to a cenote. My husband and close friends went deep sea fishing, and then we all did a farewell cocktail on a boat. All of this went over smoothly, and the guides were excellent. We were over the moon with the wedding venue and only heard back amazing things on food and scenery from our friends. It was very much private, but not inaccesible.
  They took care of every single detail, getting me the best vendors for what I wanted and could afford. My flowers made me CRY on arriving to the site, they were just SO PRETTY. Sweets made people have more than one slice of cake... never ever have I had the wedding cake it is always awful and people were having more than once! They got me all the things I wanted for the welcome bags, even customized labels for organic bug spray and sun lotion for the cenotes visit. For the ceremony they even got me all the pictures of the family who is no longer with us there. They were truly in every detail, going above and BEYOND. They gave up THEIR OWN airbnb for my getting ready. They got me a special gift from a friend (champagne) on her request and even gave me a rather long hand written note on her behalf!
  Most importantly, they asked us how we wanted to feel that day, and we said relaxed. I am a type A person, and I never thought I would be able to relax and enjoy my own wedding. It was the most relaxed I have ever been, and it was because I truly 100% trusted them, their recommendation, and their decisions. They stayed until the very end and made me feel 100% supported. I keep seeing their new weddings on Instagram and it makes me want to get married again just to plan something so beautiful and so easy with them!

  Mahla and her team are extordinary! After a ton of research and phone interviews, I contacted Mahla. I was at the point of giving up on finding the right wedding planner. It took two minutes of conversation for me to realize she was the one. She and her team have kept me sane, energized, calm, and laughing throughout the process. She was always available to speak with whether it was a phone call, WhatsApp chat, or Skype. Her ideas and collaboration with me and my husband was perfection. She saw our vision and created a dream come true wedding. The day of our wedding was even more spectacular! our guests were thrilled saying it was the "best wedding ever." They couldn't stop raving about our decor that Mahla and her team put together and the venue she helped pick for our big day. Hannita, her assistant, was able to get us a coconut bar with a guy chopping them up for guests as they requested. Oh and we can't forget the cigar roller they were able to get us too. He was a huge hit and a great surprise for guests. She and her team are magic! I will forever be grateful to them for everything. They made our wedding vision and dreams come true. #bestweddingplanner

  Mahla and her Eventeur Team helped plan my destination wedding in May 2016 and it was a flawless experience from beginning to end! Mahla was referred to me by a friend of ours and from the moment we spoke, I knew that I made the right decision. Her caring and sweet demeanor completely exceeded my expectations! Her and the Eventeur Team were always professional and nice to all my guests, even the more difficulty ones. Mahla genuinely had my best interests at heart throughout the entire time and gave advice from her own personal experience. Mahla was always quick to respond to all the questions that I had (and I had quite a few!) and was always patient with me and all the guests. I tell everyone that a destination wedding is the only way a wedding should be done and refer Mahla to anyone I speak to! You will not regret choosing to plan your destination wedding with The Eventeur!!

  Mahla and her team were great to work with! We and most of our travel group are based in Vancouver - initially we were a little hesitant about choosing a travel agent a few time zones away in Toronto, but it did not turn out to be a problem at all.

We contacted a few agents before deciding to go with her - not only did she provide our wedding travel group with great quotes, but she was always organized, courteous, and gave trust-worthy recommendations.   We got married in March 2016 in Cabo, Mexico and I believe that my wedding was one of the most beautiful and dreamiest weddings. It was better than all pictures I had seen on pinterest and instagram :D Thank you Mahla and your team for making our dream come true.
  We started planning our wedding about 9 months before our wedding. We had about 70 guest from all around the world that were very well traveled and The Eventeur helped us pick the perfect resort to meet their expectations. ( Everybody ended up loving the resort)
  We were not so big on resort weddings since we wanted a more private wedding. So, Mahla gave us all the options in Cabo and other cities in Mexico and we narrowed it down to a gorgeous villa that was overlooking the sea. She even traveled to Cabo before the wedding to check out the villa and meet with all our vendors and made sure everything is perfect. She is the BEST so she only works with the best. We were beyond happy with each and every single vendor!!!
  She also traveled to Dallas, where we live to go over all the details of the wedding. We are so grateful for that.
  She took a huge weight off our shoulders and I am so happy we trusted her to plan our day.

  Mahla did a great job handling our air requirements/ changes.
  Thought the accommodations were great value, and the wedding was timed perfectly.

  I was a guest at a wedding, when booking my trip I found they were extremely friendly and professional. I actually had to make a change to my ticket to come home earlier and I felt they were very attentive and responsive and were able to make my changes accordingly.

  I first met The Eventeur team in Mexico where they had organized a destination wedding I attended as a guest with my husband. They arranged all of my husband and I's travel arrangements: flight, hotel, car rental, you name it. I even asked for some suggestions on things to do and excursion options, and they went out of their way to help me and my husband have the best vacation experience we could imagine.
  
  Because of our great experience, I asked Mahla at the Eventeur if she could help plan a trip to Europe for my anniversary shortly after. I'm a very picky traveller, and love luxury, comfort and a detailed itinerary. Mahla knew exactly how to make me happy. She was friendly, patient, and offered amazing advice and service. We had the best vacation and I truly appreciated the wonderful customer service.

I never once felt pressured to book anything with Mahla, she was very genuine and I could tell she really enjoys what she does. She never once showed any frustration when I changed my mind for the millionth time and always had a positive attitude. One thing I really liked is that she has been to many of the resorts and so was was speaking from experience not just the information that I could have easily found online. We had a total of 50 guests and every single one of them were over the top pleased with the ease of booking and the quality of service they received from Mahla and her team.   Our wedding in Puerto Vallarta

  The Eventeur knows how to create the most amazing destination weddings!

  We really enjoyed working with the Eventeur and couldn't have asked for a more amazing wedding! They were extremely professional and easy to work with throughout the planning and on the day. They definitely know how to do a destination wedding that will blow you and your guests minds.
