I originally had my wedding planned for Mexico and due to the situation there we changed it to Chicago. We lost a lot of money and knowing this, Jennifer negociated with our venue the prices of their food, beverage, hotel rates and parking. She saved us easily 9K with her negociation skills. She also took care of creating my wedding vision and worked very closely with Hotel 71 and my amazing florist from Ashland Addison. She created a lounge for the cocktail hour cheaper than the hotel would have charged me. She went shopping for food for a pizza party after the wedding, lunches for before the wedding and breakfast for the morning after the wedding. If we had catered that food from the hotel, it would have cost us easily $3k because they charge per person, instead, she shopped and brought everything herself, she arraged the food and made sure everything was set on time and nothing was missing in terms of food and beverage. My sister lost her reading for the church 1 hr before the ceremony (and it had to be in Spanish!), Jen took care of it, by the time my sister went to do her reading, a sheet of paper with her reading was there, in Spanish. I learned later that the Hotel crew made a mistake with the table and chair arrangement, if it hadn't been for Jennifer, my guests would have been confused and sitted with people that they had nothing in common or their seats would have been missing. Jen also saved me a lot of money by putting together a nut buffette for my guests that served as a midnight snack and doubled as a wedding favor. She also used the boxes made by Erickson Desing for the nuts as place cards (more savings!).
I can go on and on about Jennifer, but just let's say that I had nothing to worry about on my wedding day, whatever came to my mind, Jen had taken care of and nobody bothered me with questions, I just relaxed and enjoyed every single moment of my day; that my friends, is just simply priceless, I call it, wedding insurance.
With all the money that she saved me, her fee was nothing!
A wedding is the biggest and most expensive party you will ever throw, don't go into it with the assurance that everything will be perfect and worth every penny you spend, you will regret it for the rest of you life.

If you are planning to have these people plan a wedding for you forget it. I cannot stress enough what a mistake you will be making if you choose to have anyone involved with this company near your wedding. My wedding coordinator did absolutely nothing that she said she would do, and then even stole unopened liquor from my reception. I feel that these people are basically con artists out to take advantage of people at a very vulnerable time in their lives. To this day(my wedding was over a year ago) I still get a little bit weepy when I think about how much my wedding planner messed everything up. Her name was Jennifer Ellen and she was less than useless.
