On April 22nd, we hosted a Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party for over 100 guests. Nicole Hawkins was our event planner. She did an amazing job, as well as Keleia, The Food and Beverage Manager and Raymond Burnell, the new Event Manager. It was difficult to plan such a large party from out of town and Nicole and her team relieved every uncertainty. They went above and beyond, no stone left unturned. The evening was beautiful and the event space even more lovely.
The night began with a cocktail hour on the patio and then we all moved in to the pavilion for dinner, toasts and then the welcome party. The food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time. Fire-pits were glowing as the sun set and the evening ended. The Currituck has everything you need and if they don't have it, the will get it for you! Thank you all...NIcole, Keleia and Raymond!!! -

Wonderful Venue
The Currituck Club was a wonderful venue for our wedding! With the ceremony on the 16th hole and the reception in the veranda, it provided the perfect backdrop for a beautiful day. The veranda held our 90 guests perfectly. Jules and Keleia are absolutely amazing to work! We are so grateful for their help and efforts to make the day run so smoothly.
We highly recommend The Currituck Club!

Stunning Wedding Venue
The Currituck Club was a beautiful venue for a wedding.
We were so happy with the layout of the venue. We were able to use the Reese Jones lounge for rehearsal dinner. This allowed an intimate setting for family to gather for dinner and celebrating.
The outdoor vendor was a stunning setting for our wedding reception. The vender fit our 90 guests comfortably. We took advantage of the venues tables, chairs, and linens that came with renting the venue.
The patio area allowed a laidback setting for our guests to spread out during cocktail hour and during the reception.
The whole TCC was friendly and amazing to work with. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better day
We live in Pittsburgh Pa and when we decided to choose a venue I was definitely nervous. Whitney helped us really feel comfortable in our decision. We had our ceremony on the beach and reception at the Currituck club. We were able to be at the club to get ready all day beforehand. The whole staff was wonderful and made us feel very welcome as out of state visitors. I couldn’t have asked for a better day! -

The most magical venue
I truly can't say enough about how amazing Nicole and her team are! They went out of their way to help us plan a dream wedding in less than a month!! Our guests loved the beautiful waterfront location, and their team helps you take care of EVERYTHING on the big day! Could not have done it without them! -

We just recently got married on 10/10/2020 and cannot stop talking about how perfect everything came together. The coordinator, Nicole Hawkins, went above and beyond for us the entire planning process, led us through our rehearsal and ceremony, and was by our side through the entire reception making sure we were taken care of and that everything was just as we wanted. Through the uncertainty with the pandemic and a wedding day forecast of 90% rain, Nicole was always on our team to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. She always looked at everything in a positive and matter of fact manner, and was optimistic we were going to pull off that outdoor ceremony which we totally did! She was phenomenal to work with, easy to trust, and truly a blessing. As for the venue, the ceremony on the golf course and reception under the veranda were breathtaking. Our guests raved about all the food, service from the staff, and how gorgeous the venue was. We absolutely could not be any happier with our decision to get married at The Currituck Club and had a wedding day better then we could ever imagine. Would do it again every weekend if we could!!! -

Look no further--you've found your elopement (or wedding) venue! Nicole, with the Currituck Club, was incredible from the start. As our site coordinator, she went above and beyond to email promptly, talk on the phone, and follow up on any question no matter the size. Due to COVID, we had made the difficult decisions to postpone our big celebration from June to September, then September to October 2021--deciding to have a small elopement ceremony on OBX with 3 weeks to plan. Nicole made us feel comfortable, confident, and supported from the first phone call to returning the wedding garment bag we'd left behind on the 7th tee box. She worked hard to get things right and meet our needs, while understanding our budget. We truly could not recommend Currituck Country Club more--it turned out we were the first couple to take advantage of their elopement package with I Do OBX, and we're incredibly grateful they put this together. It made EVERYTHING so easy (and when you're planning from out of state, in less than 3 weeks after two postponements, easy is so nice). We're already dreaming of next summer when we can play a round of 9 and visit our wedding venue again :) -

I have been coming to Corolla from Northern Virginia since I was a little girl. We started staying in the Currituck Club neighborhood when I was in middle school. I always knew I wanted to have my wedding there. I figured it would be such a headache to plan a wedding out of state. I was totally wrong. From the very beginning of planning, Nicole (Hawkins) was AWESOME. She always answered my emails quickly (when I say quickly I mean sometimes within an hour or a few minutes) answered my 100 questions, and offered for me to come look at things to help me plan while I was down for a vacation not even associated with wedding planning. She was great during our planning session and for our food tasting. (The food is awesome. Everyone at our wedding had nothing but great things to say about the food. We had: deviled eggs, vegetable egg rolls, meatballs, prosciutto crostini’s, and italian skewers for our appetizers. For our entree we did the Carolina Cookout buffet. It was SO GOOD!) Everything was great planning wise- then COVID-19 happened. Nicole went from awesome to outstanding. Our wedding was planned for June 8, 2020 and I reached out to her in March when things were looking really crappy. She put me at ease and she stayed in contact with us every week- sometimes it felt like every day to help us navigate through the hard time. I am tearing up writing this because I can’t put into words how great she was during such a stressful time. When we found out in May that our wedding would be happening she was so great with helping us get everything together. She was amazing. What could have been so stressful with last minute planning coming together so quickly- I can honestly say I was not stressed at all and that is all thanks to her. She really put us at ease and took all the stress away.
The trolley was a perfect touch and the scenery all around The Currituck Club are breathtaking.
We rented the white arch from the club that are in the pictures. It was beautiful.
Day of- she made my vision a reality and made everything SO perfect. She is someone I will recommend to everyone when planning a wedding. I will tell them to go get married at The Currituck Club. She was outstanding and our wedding wouldn’t have been perfect unless she was there. -

The Currituck Club is amazing. Liz and Kaela did an outstanding job from beginning to end. Everything was beautiful. All of our guests raved about the food! I am so glad we chose the Currituck Club for our wedding. You will not regret it! -

Best Perfect Ceremony spot!

We could not asked for a better day! All family and guests only spoke highly of Liz, and Sean timing, all went just perfect!

My husband and I got married at the Currituck Club on October 27th and truly could not have asked for a better experience. Liz is so helpful and quick to respond to a panicked bride any time I had a question! The day of the ceremony went so smoothly, even with crazy wind she made sure that my signage and decor was exactly how I wanted it.
It is a stunning place to get married, we did our ceremony on the sound front right at sunset & had our reception in the outside portion of the country club. I’m not exaggerating when I say everything was perfect: the food, drinks, service, decor & timeline was perfect. I seriously can’t thank Liz or the country club enough for everything they did to make sure we had our perfect day. If the beauty of the venue didn’t win you over instantly, the staff surely will! Would recommend to anyone considering an Outer Banks wedding! -

I cannot thank Liz and her staff at The Currituck Club enough. It is a hard thing to plan a wedding but Liz makes it so much easier. She has an open mind and is always there to answer any questions or concerns you might have in a very timely manner. She is also extremely organized which I really appreciated.
I had brought most of my own decorations to the club the night before for the staff to set up. I didn't have to lift a single finger to set up anything and it all was exactly as I had envisioned it, if not better. This is something I appreciated SO SO much because it alleviated a ton of stress off me and it turned out absolutely beautiful.
The venue itself is beautiful. The golf course is probably one of the nicest I've ever seen. There is an adorable trolley provided to transport guests out to the ceremony site. The 7th hole where the ceremonies take place is GORGEOUS! It overlooks the sound and the view is stunning. Its perfect for those golden hour portraits that photographers strive to get. There is also a big oak tree that I loved. I had planned to set up my ceremony under the tree however it rained so my ceremony was moved under the veranda where the reception was held. I do not feel like I missed out at all by moving my ceremony. The veranda is so cute and it honestly doesn't take much to dress it up. It was the perfect size! You also have access to all the rooms in the club. We used their lounge upstairs for cocktail hour and it worked out perfectly.
My guests constantly were giving me compliments about the food. We opted to do a station style buffet with tacos, sliders, and pizza which Liz happily helped me customize.
The service was exceptional. Liz and her staff catered to our needs all night, checking in on us frequently to make sure we didn't need anything.
Overall I would give the Currituck Club 10/10. It wasn't lacking in any way and it was clear that the staff really cared about making our day special. Liz is incredible at her job. Thanks again to her and all her staff! -

Lauren Sent on 08/12/2017I can't even describe how amazing my day was. It was more than I could have ever asked for. My guests LOVED the food & could not stop eating. The service my guests received was top notch! They literally catered to every guests' needs. Our sound front ceremony, omg, breathtaking. When I pictured myself getting married, I wanted beautiful scenery & I got that. Vonnie, bless her heart. I probably emailed her a 1,000 times and she was so great to work with. She made sure everything was taken care of. I emailed her frequently about the weather because that weekend was a nor'easter (in July). But luckily it provided with the most comfortable, sunny weather. It was absolutely, absolutely perfect!!! There's no other place I could imagine myself getting married at. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. The currituck club fit all of our needs and was beautiful for our wedding. We had 110 people and needed to get the tent which honestly was so nice to have the flexible seating for guest who didn’t want to be under the veranda dancing the whole time. It sprinkled during our wedding but I don’t think anyone really cared because they were surrounded by beautiful views of the sound. Jules and her team were the best! Anything we needed or wanted they got it right away for us even for the guests. They made the day so enjoyable and care free! Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour food! We couldn’t have asked for a better day and better place to have our wedding. -

We really loved working with Nicole (and Liz!) at The Currituck Club. I don't think they told us no - ever. If we wanted it to happen for our wedding day, they found a way to make it possible. I think the only thing I wasn't thrilled about was that my vendors ate before me & my groom, therefore my photographer came and grabbed us to go do sunset photos before we got to eat. We came back to cold food. I don't really "fault" the venue for this though - it was just a scheduling thing and everything tends to fall into place in its own way during an event rather than on whatever schedule you set no matter how hard you try to keep things "on schedule." But overall, our experience with them was amazing. Hurricane Dorian created some damage to their roof just prior to our wedding, and they had things cleaned up as if nothing had happened by the end of the week when we were getting married! Nicole was out on the property hoofing it with the rest of the staff and my wedding planner - she really helped make everything come together! We really appreciated our experience with these guys and highly recommend them! -

Memories to last a lifetime!
The wedding site over looking the Sound was stunning for my son’s 6 p.m. wedding. The Club’s cocktail and reception space on the veranda were upscale and beautiful with nice touches like fire pits and complimentary decor.. The trolley service to/from for guests was also a nice amenity and lots of fun! -
