Highly Recommend!

As a former wedding coordinator and bride, I can confidently say The Chef’s Table was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and we had so many clean plates after dinner — a true testament to how much our guests loved everything. Our dessert bar was a huge hit, and we received countless compliments on it. Plus, their bartenders were seriously on POINT, making sure everyone was well taken care of all night.
We had quite a few special dietary needs to accommodate — gluten free, vegetarian/vegan options, no nuts, and even a citrus allergy — and The Chef’s Table handled it all flawlessly. They worked with us like it was no trouble at all, even though we knew it was a lot to manage.

Maria, in particular, deserves a medal for putting up with me! I was a very Type A bride, and we combed through every single detail with a fine-toothed comb. She was always patient, prompt, polite, and thorough with every inquiry. We definitely spoke more than with any other vendor, and she never made me feel like I was asking too much.

The Chef’s Table isn’t just a caterer — they’re a team who takes pride in every plate, every detail, and every guest. They helped make our wedding unforgettable, and I’ll be singing their praises for years to come.

Caterers that go above and beyond!

We had the best experience a couple could ever ask for working with The Chef's Table for our wedding catering. Augustin and Maria were so thoughtful, communicative, and easy to work with from our first inquiry through the end of our reception. They put together a menu that responded to the different tastes and cultural backgrounds of our guests that we had mentioned. Our tasting was not only delicious but they included a slideshow of previous events they've done at our venue so we could see how the room could be set up. During the venue walk-through a month out they were so thorough in going over all the details for the room set up and had wonderful tips and ideas for us. On the day of the event, not only was the food delicious, but the service was impeccable. Augustin was so personal and attentive throughout the entire night. For example, he made sure the head table had a platter of the appetizers so the bride and groom actually got to enjoy the food. The feedback we got from our guests was that the food was delicious and the service from the waitstaff and bartenders was fantastic. Working with The Chef's Table was the best decision we could have made in our wedding planning and we can't recommend them highly enough!

Flawless Experience

Agustin and Maria were so easy to work with throughout the process of coordinating our wedding. They put together a very thoughtful tasting for us, providing us with samples and showing us photos of how they had set up our venue previously. In addition, they were very communicative and not only provided the food and set up but their consultation as well. The dishes, wait staff, and bartenders were all on point throughout the evening. Cannot recommend them enough.

The best!!

Highly recommend Chef’s Table Catering! Maria and Augustine were phenomenal from the very beginning, professional, courteous, detailed, and helpful. Given our Latin cultures, we wanted a very Latin menu for our wedding. Not only were they able to accommodate us, but our guests loved every single item. Brings immeasurable experience to the table

I cannot recommend The Chef's Table enough for any event you may be planning. Augustin, the owner, and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and our guests were blown away by the presentation and taste. But what really stood out was Augustin's dedication to making sure everything went smoothly. He went above and beyond, performing many tasks that were reserved for the coordinator and even the florist, as our florist left early. Augustin's 35 years of experience truly shone through as he stepped in to make sure everything was perfect. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence were unparalleled. He constantly checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and took care of everything without us even having to ask. The Chef's Table is truly lucky to have someone like Augustin leading the charge. If you're looking for a caterer who will go above and beyond to make your event perfect, look no further than The Chef's Table.

Highly recommended: 9.9 food, 10 reliability, super-10 service

The Chef’s Table, on a scale of 1-10, rates 9.9 for food, 10 for reliability and way over 10 for service. Based on two events, I would recommend them highly.

Their food was excellent in both range of offerings and enthusiastic reception by my guests. Though tuna steaks once were dry, the sea bass another time was moist and delicious…and frankly my guests said they were amazed. Consider that for both the bass and for half racks of lamb — three mini-chops in one piece — both entrees were prepared in Herndon, transported (by the owner!) to the Georgetown waterfront for an hour’s wait until our chartered boat arrived, then another 90 minutes onboard until dinnertime. Yet the chops were warm, pink and fine tasting even without the chimichurri sauce. “How do they do it?” people asked.

Because The Chef’s Table has a $1,000 minimum for food, for a small party I next tried another caterer with only a per-person minimum. Big mistake: Nine days before the party, we still didn’t have all menu questions answered nor a final price. That Thursday I asked The Chef’s Table if they could jump in at the last minute and produce a comparable menu in time; the next day they delivered a proposed menu and a firm price for Saturday a week later — and it turned out wonderfully.

Another reason for the 10+ service rating was our on-site server/cook, who took over after the owner again (!) delivered the food and equipment. He worked quietly, efficiently and pleasantly with no need for supervision, then cleaned up and left the kitchen spotless. Indeed, we felt we’d gotten something extra because though we’d arranged for stationary hors d’oeuvres, our server/cook passed some of them around the gathering so the hot hors d’oeuvres stayed warm.

In my corporate life before retiring, my job involved many high-dollar catered events. I’d say The Chef’s Table ranks with the best. I’d use them again anytime…and no further experiments with second-rate competitors.

Amazing Food and Service

I cannot speak highly enough of Maria and the entire team at Chef's Table. Throughout the entire planning process Maria was incredibly helpful in assisting us with choosing our menu that would be appealing to a wide array of people while still paying homage to the grooms culture. They also worked well with our other vendors to ensure that everything went off without a hitch.
On the day of, the food was excellent and the service was top notch. We are so grateful that they were a part of our wedding and my husband and I would highly recommend Chef's Table.

Excellent Caterer

The team at Chef's Table was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, helping us think through what we needed across the entire reception (cocktail hour/dinner/dessert) and providing tips and advice from experience. When choosing the menu, they were flexible and were able to easily adjust as we updated our choices throughout the planning process, including how we wanted the table settings to look, which plates to use, etc. On the day of, the bar tenders and waiters were always present and helpful, leading to a smooth dining experience and no major wait times. Finally, the food itself was delicious, and there was plenty of it on the buffet for all guests. Maria (one of the owners) even personally served us our wedding meal to make sure we remembered to eat! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with them and would highly recommend to anyone else!

The best caterer!!!

The Chef's Table is incredible. Maria and her team are amazing. Everything was perfect!!!!! First, they worked with is through the entire process and were willing to hold extra meeting to review and change table settings, drinks, timing and everything in between. We had full confidence in them the whole time. Second, the food is great! So often reception food is good but nothing overly memorable, but with TCT, I had so many people explicitly compliment the food (the filet mignon is incredible). Lastly, the reception hall was stunning with their linens, plates, set up and everything. Could not have been better. They were also wonderful with beverage suggestions and making sure everyone had plenty :). 5 stars is not enough!

Amazing caterer and event company!

The Chef’s Table was amazing for our reception at St. Francis Hall in October! Agustin, Maria Cristina and their staff were all so accommodating to work with and very helpful! The food was amazing - the service was amazing! They know how to entertain and it shows:) They helped us create our vision and brought it to life. We can’t wait to have another party just so we can work with this amazing team again!

When James and Lucia decided to have a party for their celebration, a good friend of ours, a caterer himself, recommended that we contact The Chef’s Table Caterers of Herndon, Va. We contacted them and from the very first meeting with Agustin and Maria Cristina, they inspired in us a sense of trust and confidence that remained throughout the process and they always did what they promised. The venue at St Francis in the gardens, where the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served, provided a beautifull setting accompanied by an ensemble quartet and a Scottish bagpiper that amazed all guests. The inside hall where dinner was served was equipped and decorated beautifully and was big enough to accomodate 130 guests without being crowded! Dinner was fantastic, the food was good and tasty, the 4 piece band played a combination o American, Italian and Portuguese songs which were very good and then came dancing until the wee hours of morning! Many of the guests were pleased and expressed their appreciation personally. In our opinion, this was superior to a five star event and the Carromba and Creel families are pleased and very appreciative in the way everything turned out. Um muito obrigado a Agustin e maria

Maria and her team at TCT Catering were Superb!

Maria and Augustine were so accommodating, flexible, and responsive to our needs in planning our wedding reception. Every question we asked was answered in a timely manner, they had helpful suggestions, and Augustine spent a lot of time reviewing our bar needs to make sure we had what we needed for our wedding size and type of event. Due to the pandemic, TCT even allowed our parents to do a preliminary tasting to help us set the menu before we could finally go down months later (!) to taste it ourselves. They even went above and beyond to accommodate special dietary restrictions of some of our wedding guests.
Speaking of, the food...is FANTASTIC! Everything they served was cooked beautifully, and we received nothing but compliments the entire time. This is not your ordinary wedding food, and I would highly recommend TCT for your catering experience!

PERFECT food and service

The Chef's Table catered my wedding reception (we did a buffet), and they did an AMAZING job! Many of our guests agreed that the food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. Delightful

Disclaimer: We did not decide to book this caterer for our wedding. However, it was delightful to work with Maria to come up with a quote that was in our budget. She responded very quickly and professionally. My first interaction with her was via phone and I explained that I had no idea what I was doing or what I needed, and she helped me come up with a plan and a quote that checked my boxes. Ultimately we decided to go with another style of food for our wedding catering, but that is the only reason why we did not choose this caterer. After reading the other reviews and talking with Maria, they seem like an excellent choice!

SO thoughtful, helpful and organized

We were budget conscious and didn't have our hearts set on particular food. (We bought our own beer and wine because we wanted something particular for that, as well as particular desserts from another place) The food we did end up choosing was good - most especially the passed hors d'oeuvres and the chicken piccata. But I think what mostly sold us on The Chef's Table was their thoughtfulness about all the details. We had zero idea on what we would need to consider, and when we came in for a tasting, Maria and Augustin went through all sorts of details that helped us think about what we would want. They had a lot of helpful ideas (like glass markers to write people's names on the glasses we got everyone as wedding favors - double duty as name places!) which we so appreciated. During the reception, they and their team were so attentive (they really did make sure that my husband and I ate). Highly recommend them to anyone.

Wedding 9/15/19

Maria and her team did an outstanding job for our wedding last weekend. We got many compliments on the food and professionalism from everyone. Maria took care of Alex and I all night making sure we had everything that we needed and made set up and clean up with the family easy as ever. During the planning process Maria got back to me via email the same day every time and was incredibly helpful. Chefs table is the choice for a wedding caterer and we would hire them again for any event we needed!

Mouth Watering Food and Great People!

I'm not sure which I loved more - the food, or Maria and Agustin!

Maria and Agustin were incredible. They helped us with choosing menu items, advised us on how much alcohol to purchase for our event and were just generally, great people. In the chaos of wedding planning, having a great cater is priceless!

Now, onto the food. Everything was delicious! We had pulled pork, chicken, macaroni and cheese, veggies, baked beans and potato salad. We also had meatballs for hors d'oeuvres and they were mouthwatering. We've heard from several of our guests that, "the food was SO good!"

Oh, and if you're getting married in the summer, I highly recommend the ice cream bar! We got married on the hottest day of the year and it was a HUGE hit with our guests.

We love the chef's table!

The Chef's Table is the catering service to hire for your wedding day or any special event, hands down. It is hard to put into words how amazing they are. Not only was our food incredible, but Maria, Agustin, and The Chef's Table team were a dream to work with.

From start to finish, they exceeded all of our expectations. Maria is so diligent and so on top of everything. Her response time with our emails and any questions that we had was impeccable. She is also one of the kindest people that we have ever met and worked so well with all of our other vendors.

We knew from our first meeting with Maria and Agustin that we were going to hire The Chef's Table, and it was the best decision that we made. We are still getting compliments about the food from our wedding guests, and have even been told that they are trying to recreate the meals!

Not only will your food be amazing, but the decor as well. Every single detail and the presentation was perfect.

We had a wonderful experience with The Chef's Table Catering

The Chef’s Table catered my daughter’s wedding in June of 2019 at Morais Vineyards. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. While my husband and I paid for the catering, I left my daughter and her husband-to-be to select the caterer and do the tastings. They are both in the hospitality industry so they know more about everything catering related than I do. I was also very confident in The Chef’s Table as they were highly recommended by our wedding planner, Jennifer, from MayJune Events. Maria and Augustine put everybody at ease from the very beginning and continued to do so throughout the entire process.

The price was very reasonable for the quality of food and service that we experienced.
The food was wonderful! We had the meal served buffet style with plated salads and rolls to start the meal. I have been to several weddings with plated dinners and they always end up being cold so I was hoping the buffet would work better and it did. I had a little bit of everything and I was really impressed with how good everything tasted. The meat was tender and moist without being at all sloppy which is a very hard thing to do with a buffet. We had numerous people tell us that the meal was the best wedding food they had ever had. And some of these were serious ‘foodies’!

The service was outstanding! The Chef’s Table had it seemed a small army of wait staff. There didn’t appear to be a long wait time for anything, including drinks at the bars. It seemed that every time I even looked like I was needing something, Augustine was instantaneously by my side asking if everything was okay. They are very familiar with working at this particular venue and now I know why they are one of their preferred catering vendors.

It was also very nice that we were able to purchase alcohol on our own and deliver it to The Chef’s Table before that event and they transported it to the venue. Augustine gave us estimated amounts of the different types of liquor to purchase based on the signature drinks we were offering. That also really saved us money. I would highly recommend The Chef’s Table for anyone having an event requiring catering.

Make it easy on yourself and just pick the Chef's Table!

I truly cannot say enough good things about the Chef's Table! From the moment, my wife and I did our tasting to the final dance at our wedding, we knew we picked the right caterer for our event. Maria and her team were seriously top notch, and believe me we did not make it easy on them! We had several last minute changes to our menu and guest count and Maria would always reply (extremely quickly) that "they're here to help." Our guest all loved the food and we loved their flexibility, value, experience working at a not so easy venue, and professionalism. Without a doubt, I will recommend them to anyone looking for catering services.

Working with Maria and Agustin of Chef's Table was the best decision we made throughout our whole wedding process! Maria and Agustin truly made our vision a reality and provided so much guidance and assistance along with great food, service and professionalism.

We reached out to Chef's Table to potentially cater our wedding at Top of the Town in Arlington, VA. They were extremely responsive and after exchanging a few emails on what we were looking for as potential food options, we set up a food tasting. The tasting was set up for just my (now) husband and I and they made all the appetizers and entrees we were debating between. By the time the tasting ended, we knew we found our caterer and had put together a rough-idea on a menu plus other details. When it got closer to the big day, we did a walk-through with the venue and finalized all of the details down to 5 minute increments for the schedule, where each table would be set, and the overall menu/drink options. They offered various suggestions based on their experience from previous weddings at our venue, which was extremely helpful.

We offered a variety of elevated comfort food appetizers, 3 entrees (beef, shrimp/crab and pasta) and then Chef's Table set up a dessert table plus two fully stocked bars that had signature drinks. All of the food and mixed drinks were delicious! They also made any necessary accommodations for various food allergies/restrictions (gluten, pine nuts, vegan, etc).

Maria and Agustin constantly communicated with us and replied promptly whenever we had any questions. They also were extremely accommodating by allowing us to drop off our alcohol and dessert a few days before the wedding then they transported everything to the venue. For what Chef's Table provided, their pricing was extremely reasonable! Their team was extremely professional, organized, and just an overall pleasure to work with! You will be in great hands with Maria and Agustin if you go with Chef's Table!

MC and Augustine are a dream team and Chef's Table Caterers is a must for a perfect wedding experience. They take a lot of pride in their work and it definitely shows through the presentation, quality of food and their impeccable service.

The food was amazing; my family and friends are still raving about it. The staff was professional and friendly. MC and her team transformed the venue into an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere for all. The tables were arranged as requested and the bar was set up beautifully.

MC is the best. She is absolutely wonderful in helping your vision come to life. She is very response and flexible and willing to do whatever was necessary to make our wedding the best day ever. The food selection was overwhelming at first, but I cannot complain on having such a large selection. It allowed me to have so many options when you are dealing with the food restrictions (we had a total of 100 guests). Plus if there is an allergy by a guest, they will make their meal in their “clean” kitchen and pack it separately so that there will be no contamination to make your guest sick. The food tasting session was perfect. They cooked enough food to easily feed 6 people when there was only 3 of us. MC walked you through all the place settings and linen colors and just helped your vision come to life. And Chef’s table allows you to purchase and drop off your own alcohol so that can really help with the budget. When Chef’s Table came and performed the site visit, they helped the uncertain groom walk through the space and feel comfortable with the setup and all the changes that we made on that day to the layout. They also offered suggestions above and beyond their responsibility to help us pull all of our vendors together. On the day of the wedding I really had no interaction with the Chef Table staff, but my mother certainly did and she was singing MC’s praises. I cannot begin to count how often my mom has mentioned MC and all she and her crew did. I can say the food was just as fantastic as the tasting day and all of our guests kept saying that the food was not anything like the “typical” wedding food they have had in the past. I love that we were able to provide our guests with food that was above all expectations. Given how much the entire team at Chef’s Table made such a huge impact, I would not hesitate to use them again in the future for another event.

MC at Chef's Table Catering was such a superstar at our wedding at 8 Chains North winery on August 5, 2017! Our initial consultation at the HQ was fabulous and the hospitality and delicious food won us over immediately! We chose a sit down dinner with 3 entree options (filet, chicken, and salmon) that were all delicious! We received so many compliments at the reception that this was the best wedding food many of our guests had ever had! We also had a cake from Chef's Table and it was absolutely stunning and tasty! We received many compliments on it as well. The entire team was professional and attentive during the reception and cocktail hour. MC was very responsive leading up to the event and was keen to offer any help where needed. I'd highly recommend Chef's Table for any future bride-to-be!

Chef's Table just catered my 30th Anniversary Party that was held in my home. I can't say enough good things about working with Maria and her team. They worked with me to create a menu that was what I wanted, provided guidance on items I needed to supply, and tips on how to decorate. On the day of the event, they arrived early to set up my home, tweaked my decor, and seamlessly set up for a wonderful evening. The food was not only displayed beautifully but also was delicious. During the event, the servers were effortlessly refilling the food, pouring wine, and cleaned up so that my husband and I could enjoy the evening. Maria could "read" the guests and suggested when I should serve food and cut the cake. I followed her suggestions and the night was a huge success! I highly recommend The Chef's Table and will use them for future catering needs.

The Chef's Table was great to work with! Maria was on top of numbers and organization of items being rented. Augustine and his crew did a fantastic job preparing the meal all the time being able to make adjustments to the meal so as to make it just what we had in mind to include making the horseradish sauce a bit spicier. the food was fresh and delicious! They did a great job navigating some of the guests allergies and dietary restrictions while still including them within the same menu. They provided suggestions for signature drinks and were able to provide us with a wide selection of dinnerware, napkins, place settings, glasses. They also provided an itemized list so that you knew exactly were your money is going. They are a tasty and wonderful company to work with!

We went to the food tasting with Agustin and it was such a great experience! He walked us through all our options every time we came up with a concern, ie. our guests not getting enough food with certain dishes, eco-friendliness of other plates, etc. We wanted a breakfast-food-stations concept and Augustin was very excited since it was outside the ordinary typical dinner setting for weddings. You can tell that he definitely wanted to do it for us and was passionate about the idea just as much as we were. Unfortunately, our wedding venue was moved to Nevada for family reasons so we could not go with them. Had we kept it in the DMV, we would have definitely booked with them. The price, the flavors, and the gut feelings were all right!

We used Chef's Table for our wedding a few months ago and were extremely pleased with everything. First off, the food tasted wonderful and looked great and many guests commented on how everything tasted delicious. We worked with Maria and Augustin who were both very professional and had good tips and ideas for us. Maria was so great with communication. She answered my many emailed questions and ideas as we were developing the menu and also for the equipment rental. We selected vegan food for our menu and Augustin had no problems adapting to our requirements and had good suggestions for us. We are very happy we went with Chef's Table!

I was married just this past Friday (11/6/15) and there truly isnt enough space to write all the good things I can say about The Chefs Table. First off, we decided to go with them from the get go because I saw nothing but great reviews and their prices seemed reasonable for the services we wanted. We had our tasting with them and all the food tasted so amazing and was presented with such beauty and care. We decided to go with a sit down dinner instead of a buffet because of the amount of elderly we had in attendance and Im so glad we did. The servers we all so polite and helpful and yet never in the way. Agustin really pulled off my perfect evening. All the linens and everything they set up was beyond perfect. They really went above and beyond anything I ever expected, and really made the whole evening run smoothly. They are so caring about who theyre working with. For example, my father has a service dog who was in attendance and they actually brought her out her own plate of beef chopped up and everything. Any time I need a caterer in the future I will be going with The Chefs Table, I couldnt imagine going with anyone else.

I can't recommend The Chef's Table enough! First thing first: the food is delicious and fairly priced. All out guests were complimenting the food.

But the bigger thing for me was the staff. Agustin is the greatest! He is so nice and friendly. And he was such a huge help. Our venue came with a coordinator but Agustin was just as good. The Chef's Table knows what they're doing and they are there to help at any point along the way. On the wedding night, Agustin was there to make sure everything was running smoothly. He stopped to check on my husband and I a few times to make sure we didn't need anything.

Definitely recommend them. They have so many benefits and I couldn't be happier with them.

I can't say enough good things about Chef's Table, specifically Maria and Augustine. From the beginning, we chose them out of many other catering companies due to their attention to detail, thoroughness, flexibility, and overall kind, warm, welcoming demeanor. Wedding planning has to be one of the most stressful life events I've experienced thus far, Maria and Augustine made that time period just a little bit easier when we most needed it. Our big day was pretty much perfect- most of that is due to Chef's Table's professionalism, excellent staff, and high level of service execution. All of our guests commented that the service was great and the food was surprisingly good (I wish I could personally vouch for that, with all the picture taking/greetings, sadly, I didn't try the food!). If there were any major hiccups on that day, I honestly wasn't made aware of, meaning their staff was that much on top of things and handled things accordingly. I didn't have a day of coordinator (which I kinda of wished I had- looking back), but honestly, Chef's Table did an amazing job putting everything together and laying out the space (decor) pretty much exactly how I wanted it. The only small suggestion I have is that we had pre-selected/planned our table layout, and day of, one of the tables had been moved to a different spot than we had requested. I realize they likely did this because that spot where I wanted the table to be would have been directly in front of the bar. I imagine they foresaw that table becoming annoyed with all the traffic of people around them in addition to interrupting bar service- and they were right. However, I would have wished they would have asked me which table to move, I would have selected a different layout then the one they chose. I imagine they didn't ask me day-of because they didn't want to annoy/bother me with such details on the wedding day. Augustine and his entire team at Chef's Table went above and beyond our expectations to help make our wedding day wonderful. Hiring a caterer can be overwhelming and at first, we were very hesitant to spend a good portion of our budget on food, but hiring Chef's table was the best investment we made for our wedding. They are extremely reasonable priced - the food was delicious and the service was nothing short of amazing. Our wedding schedule was running about an hour late. Augustine and his team were extremely hands on and worked great with all of our vendors to work with the change in schedule - they even recommended and supported our decision to extend our reception an hour. They made everything appear "flawless" to our guests and us as well. I think you could tell Augustine that your venue was on fire and he would smile at you and tell you that "he will take care of it". ;) The staff at Chef's table are extremely professional, kind-hearted, hardworking and passionate about what they do. If you are looking for someone to cater your wedding in the DC/NoVa area, and you would like to serve great, traditional food, then look no further. Seriously, if you've stumbled on The Chef's Table, then you are done looking. Congrats! You've found your caterers!

Agustin and his wife Maria were so helpful throughout the entire process of the wedding - always answering our emails very quickly, always answering our calls. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious - and I don't even mean for like, wedding food, I mean for real food! The food is seriously restaurant quality. During the wedding, we had several guests come up to us to tell us just how good the food was. They were really blown away.

As for me, the bride, I couldn't have done this wedding without Agustin. He was my lifeline, he was my savior. There's no way I can repay him and his wife for their help with the wedding. During the event, Agustin was always watching, always supervising to make sure things were going according to his grand plan. He even made sure that I was calm, and enjoying myself. I will always be grateful for his kind, reassuring smile whenever I was freaking out about the fact that it was raining and that the ceremony had to be moved inside. He made my wedding memorable, and the amazing food of TCT made the wedding such a treat for our guests.

If you are lucky enough to meet with TCT, and they are available for hire on the day of your event, then do yourself (and your guests) a favor: work with TCT. You will not regret it.

My husband and I used The Chef's Table for our wedding this past May and they did a WONDERFUL job! Agustin was absolutely fabulous! The food was amazing, the service impeccable, and they did such a wonderful job with the wedding and reception set up! We had a huge rain storm come through about 5 minutes before the ceremony, and Agustin's team saved the day by grouping together, pulling in help, and getting everything moved from outside to in within minutes! Plus, it all looked perfect. What also made a difference was Agustin's close relationship with our wedding coordinator at Raspberry Plain, Maria, as well as our flower vendor, Rick's Flowers (they are INCREDIBLE - 5 starts for them, too). Agustin is responsive and diligent, and he really knows the catering industry inside and out. Five stars across the board!

The Chef's Table is so wonderful! We initially signed on with Kelley, who was wonderful in our many menu changes and questions. She was extremely prompt with emails, and always made sure all of our questions were answered. Kelley left to pursue other options, when Agustin took over for us. Never once did our service change. He was extremely prompt with emails, and always followed up with phone calls if he had questions. He's very flexible with meetings, menu changes and everything!
He was very helpful and took a lot of stress away from the day of the wedding stress. He took many of our items out on his truck, and set up our items we had brought. During the day, he made sure my husband and I had drinks and food during cocktail hour, and made sure we ate during dinner and brought us drinks. We so appreciated it because the day went by so quickly!
The food is absolutely delicious! Our guests commented on great the food was, it is definitely not "wedding chicken" in anyway! Even my husband, who is a very picky eater, went back for seconds.
Our guests commented on how professional and polite The Chef's Table staff was. They were so nice, prompt and had a genuine smile on their faces. We couldn't have asked for a better caterer on our day!

The Chef’s Table was recommended to me by my venue and I am happy I went with them. Kelley was our planner. She was great with responding to my emails. I had a vision of what I wanted my reception to look like and she helped implement it. Agustin is accommodating. After I found out the marinara sauce has nuts in it, he was quick to change the sauces around. There were so many options to choose from to make my menu for the day. They will even work with you if you come up with an idea that is not on their suggested menu. Our dinner service went smoothly and everyone loved the food. My reception room looked just as Kelley and I designed. The Chef’s Table was in charge of a big portion of my wedding and they did a good job.

These guys are the best! Definitely the best tasting food that you would be proud to serve to your friends and family. The service level was beyond anything I could have hoped for. Nicole Whealen did a fabulous job catering and helping us to plan my husband's 50th birthday party in November 2013, which we held at my sister's house in Vienna, VA. The food was delicious, my sister's house was transformed by the decorations and arrangements made by TCT Caterers and Event Planners. Nicole was particularly flexible with some of our changing desires - always happy to make adjustments to the menu, coordinate meetings with me or my sister (depending on our availability / schedule), and even added a few menu items for us at our request (we were doing a 1960s James Bond theme - so asked for cheese straws, a jello mold, etc). I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ENOUGH!! I was referred to The Chef's Table by friends of ours who had used them for multiple events and had only wonderful things to say about them. From the very first contact I made with the company I knew we had found our perfect caterer. I was never left hanging with any questions I had or made to feel inadequate for not knowing things. Agustin was so accomodating at our tasting and made any and all changes we requested. He even had some great suggestions that we and our guests ended up loving at the wedding! Kelley is hands down the most amazing person ever to do her job. She put up with endless ridiculous emails from me and never once made it seem like I was a burden. She went above and beyond for our wedding (keeping my silly milk cartons in her refridgerator at home) and helping my wedding planner in any and every way she could. This was the first time that I had used TCT personally, but I had attended events catered by them in the past which is why they were one of the three caterer's we "tasted'. Augustine and his staff really know the business and will guide you through every step of the way even as to how much wine and/or beer and champagne to buy for the number of guests you will have. You can even deliver it to them a week ahead of time and they will take it to the venue site for your. Not many caterer's will do this for you. My main concern with caterer's is that with a buffet is that the food is plentful and HOT through the last serving. TCT did not disappoint. There were nothing but raves from all of my guests about the food, how good it was and especially how hot it was. I would highly recommend TCT to anyone looking for a caterer for their next event. Nicole was the coordinator on site for TCT and she kept the staff and everything moving smoothly. She checked in with me several times during the night to see if there was anything she could do for me or the bride and groom. The only thing I wanted for my daughter and her new husband was for them to not go through the buffet line and they accomodated my request. I really enjoyed working with Nicole and the staff that night. They boxed up all the leftover food and set it aside for us to take home. TCT is certainly a caterer I will use again.

I LOVED working with Kelly of TCT. She was phenomenal. I was so stressed out from planning my entire wedding alone and working with Kelley I was able to relax because I was in good hands. She was such a help all throughout the planning process up to the wedding day when she served plates to my husband and I at our buffet-style reception. Everything exceeded my expectations and she was such delightful, professional, thorough person to work with. Kelley took care of all the little details I wouldn't even had thought of and she was just such a sweetheart. She even folded my napkins in a specific flower design that I was dying to have which must have taken hours! And did I mention the food was delicious?! My guests kept telling my how good it was! You are not alone when you have Kelley helping with catering which is such a huge part of the wedding. Vendors can really make or break your wedding planning experience and choosing Kelly and TCT was a choice I am so glad I made.

TCT caterers are easy to work with and provide great food at a reasonable price. Our event manager Kelley truley made the experience and our wedding amazing and stress-free. Feedback from our guests agree that the services provided by TCT were top notch.

We were concerned about planning a Virginia wedding long distance from Connecticut. But not to worry!! Nicole and the staff at The Chef's Table were very professional and a dream to work with. We were able to relax and let the experts at TCT take our input and provide us with a "dream" wedding (as the newlyweds call it). Nicole was accessible during the planning and was present at the event-- coordinating with her warmth, grace and style....oh, and the food was delicious!

We used Chef's Table for our reception at Top of the Town in Arlington, VA. Nicole, our event planner did not miss a beat in providing high quality, efficient and friendly service. We felt like we were in good hands with Nicole and her crew and had no worries at all. The food was excellent, the linen and arrangements beautiful and they just made the overall experience for our guests absolutely wonderful. We had only six months to prepare for our daughter's wedding, and as mother of the bride, I was overwhelmed before the planning began. Having said that, we could not have been more pleased with the quality of food and service that The Chef's Table presented. Nicole Whealen, our event planner, went above and beyond with accommodating our request and made sure that every detail was covered and this was not an easy task. Before a scheduled tasting we gave her a lengthy list of foods that we wanted at the reception and she and their kitchen pulled it off brilliantly! The tasting was beyond our expectations and the presentation was incredible. The reception was a huge success and everyone raved about the quality of the food and service. Not only will we consider Nicole and The Chef's Table staff for future events but would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to make an event special with no concern about outcome.

Working with The Chef's Table Caterers & Event Planners was a complete pleasure. From scheduling the tasting to the conclusion of the wedding was a complete joy. Often a tasting is limited to just a few menu items, not with The Chef's Table we were able to experience the entire menu from start to end. During the planning process, I wanted to add a surprise gelato spread for my husband and Nicole was so flexible and accommodating with adding and removing the gelato so that he did not see it listed. Nicole was always very prompt with replying to my emails and calls. She was huge resource in the planning process and working with the venue. From the layout of the tables and the buffet she was there to lend a helping hand. It was a huge help that we were able to purchase our own liquor and bring the items to Nicole prior to the wedding. With all everything leading up to the wedding, as a bride it was so great knowing that I could just drop off some items and have delivered to the venue the day of. In regards to the food, everyone LOVED the food! My family is still talking about the sliders, ham, and mash potato bar. It was great to be able to bring in our own bakery items, and a few other items that Nicole gladly setup for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Everyone at Chef's Table was a pleasure to work with. They created an inspired menu that really embraced our wedding theme - brunch for dinner! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The first words out of almost every guest's mouth have been, "Your food was amazing and unique! Who was your caterer?" I highly recommend working with Kelley (or anyone from TCT) for your wedding. Most engaged couples begin planning their wedding at least six months or more in advance. At least! We set the date and planned our wedding in 5 weeks! It would not have been possible without the incredible staff at The Chef's Table. No one attending our wedding of 180 people would ever have known it was planned and executed in such a short amount of time. TCT made the event worry-free, paying attention to every detail, and accommodated the short notice we gave them to work with! The food was amazing. AMAZING! The tables were beautiful. The Chef's Table provides absolutely delicious food, a highly professional staff, and all around high quality service for a price that is so reasonable. The staff was so organized and professional, the attention to detail so meticulous, the wedding appeared to have been planned a year in advance.

There is not enough space to write my review for Kelley Finnegan and The Chef's Table team. They were absolutely amazing, literally knock your socks off amazing! From day one we were treated with the upmost respect and we could tell the team really cared about creating the perfect day for us. Kelley responded to emails promptly and allowed us to be very flexible with our menu, we changed it a handful of times and it was a never an issue. We were having a hard time deciding between two of the meat selections and she invited us in for a second tasting to help us reach our decision. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely professional and well trained. Kelley was so calm the day of and made sure everything ran smoothly and as planned. I love TCT and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting married or needing a caterer for an event.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Chefs Table. The service and food were both amazing. Especially Kelley, we had the pleasure of working side by side with her throughout the entire process and she was the BEST! We had many special requests for our menu and they completely lived up to our expectations. The responsiveness of Chef's Table blew me away! Their event manager Nichole Whealen is incredible - quick to understand, rapid response, VERY flexible and an amazing asset to Chef's Table. The owner/Chef is very approachable and understands client needs, totally flexible and worked with us to make a great event. The staff who came for the event were friendly, efficient and totally professional. They all did a great job and worked as a well oiled team.

Their buffet meal service was generous and we had a lot of food left over, even though we had 100% headcount turning up - so they do not compromise on quantities. We did a pre-wedding welcome dinner of over 80 persons and every one enjoyed the meal and service. I have no doubt that they will do a great job so without hesitation I will do our next wedding with them.

The Chef's Table is wonderful! Right from the tasting, I could tell they truly care about your day and want to do everything to make sure it is run exactly the way you want it. Nicole especially made sure to get all of the details that I wanted, and the day of she was fantastic. She did so much of the behind the scenes work, so I didn't have to and I could enjoy my day (like cordinating with the flowers, the cake, and even the DJ to make sure the right songs were played at the right time). They do fabulous work.

TCT was amazing!!! We worked with Kelley and she was great! She was very attentive and always responded to questions promptly. We can't say enough about all of the attention to detail from Kelley and Agustin! The day of our wedding, everything was flawless! The Chef's Table was a pleasure to work with. My DJ Marc Wilner from Washington Talent Agency recommended them as a caterer. He gave them so much praise for how they handled a wedding last year that came after the "Derecho" which left the venue out of power. After the recommendation we scheduled a tasting and worked with them for a proposal. We loved their food and my groom and I clicked with their event people. We ended up making some changes to our menu and they let us have another tasting. It was even better than the first time! We had so many compliments on our food, we did a crab cake and steak combo. People told us things like "best wedding food ever" and "best steak ever." I am not sure if I have ever even said that about a wedding I have been to! TCT served amazing food, appetizers, and a welcome drink, and they were an integral party of helping make the wedding day flow smoothly. Kelley was able to refer me to a a day-of coordinator, A Sweet Soiree events, and I was able to book them. I really felt like we had a "team" of amazing vendors, especially TCT. I also think, compared to other caterers in the area, they are very reasonable and transparent about their pricing. Thank you for helping make my dream wedding come true!

Nicole helped us to smooth over the mistakes we made in the table seating. She went out of her way to fix any issues. The food was very delicious. They were easy to work with and adjusted food to our tastings and desires without even a blink of an eye. Our experience with the Chef's Table was absolutely fantastic. Glennis was in charge of our big day and was wonderful. After dealing with one caterer that seemed to be playing price games with us, Chef's Table was very upfront and honest in their pricing and willing to be flexible with our menu options. The head chef and Glennis were BOTH at our rehearsal dinner and were very attentive to us the entire time. We loved almost all of the food we chose at the tasting but one of the dishes didn't quite "wow" us. They were quick to work with us to switch the dish out and didn't charge us any extra for the change. We made a couple of changes to the appetizers to suit our taste better and they made all of the swaps for free. They were so flexible in making sure everything tasted exactly the way we wanted it to.

They were also very helpful and flexible in helping us to pick out our linens. Glennis kept in touch with me to make sure we got the linens we wanted reserved in time and provided pictures and advice on picking the right colors. The end result was fabulous!!

The day of our wedding absolutely met all of our expectations. They put a bottle of our champagne and some appetizers aside for us so that we could have them between the ceremony and pictures while we took a quick break. They waited until we were done visiting the tables at our reception to serve us our food so that it would be warm and were super attentive all night, making sure we always had a drink in our hand. All of the food on the wedding day came out perfectly and all of our guests were very pleased with the food! The only thing that we were disappointed by in the evening was that they cut the cake into such tiny slices and we had TONS of cake leftover.

Overall, we are so happy that we chose Chef's Table as our caterer and would definitely recommend them!

We were thrilled with the catering services we received from The Chef's Table for our wedding reception. Our guests raved about the food, service and professionalism of the staff. Even when we initially stepped into the dining area at our reception that day, we couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked.

We enjoyed working closely with Glennis during all aspects of the process. She was full of helpful recommendations throughout the planning process and went out of her way to answer our questions and was always extraordinarily responsive. She was pro-active and kept us on track to ensure appropriate coordination occurred with all of our vendors.

WOW! Glennis and The Chef's Table made it happen! Glennis made the wedding reception SMOOTH, elegant, fun, and delicious. From the start, she was most accommodating, filled with great ideas, told us what would and would not work best at our venue and for our 'count', and kept us enjoying the entire wedding planning process. She offered personalized service so we felt no need to have a wedding planner. I realized early on that everything was in goods hands so our family just enjoyed the celebration. Her staff were attentive and made the evening flow without a hitch. We LOVED the food at the initial tasting - and received many compliments from our wedding guests. Many THANKS, Augustin and Glennis - and your entire staff. A few days before the wedding, I brought the alcohol, wedding album, candles, table numbers, cake knife, etc to Glennis. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Glennis had provided a floor plan and setup everything as we discussed. After the celebration, Glennis had these items, all drink and food leftovers - plus box dinners for the Bride and Groom - packaged and ready for a friend to bring to our home. TCT provided great vision, experience, food, service - all with a most competitive price, cheerfulness, professionalism, and friendship. Truly a FIND. Use TCT - you (and your guests) will be pleased.

This is one review I could not wait to write because I was so blown away by the level of service we received from Chef's Table.

Glennis was our point of contact for everything. A huge benefit of working with Chef's Table is that the person you meet in the beginning is the person that will be there the actual day of. Glennis must never sleep because she always responded to emails/phone calls very quickly and always had helpful information or advice. She knew that budget was a major concern for us and she helped us make economical choices without sacrificing quality. We were able to rely on her for things that went above and beyond a catering role - she set up our centerpieces for us, helped coordinate with other vendors, and at the end of the night she and her staff packed up EVERYTHING for us (decorations, extra alcohol, our guestbook, everything) so we never missed a minute of celebrating. She had done her homework to make sure she knew exactly how we wanted things so on the actual day she handled it all and we never had to worry. I can't say enough about how much we appreciated Glennis - I know she was largely responsible for our wedding being a success and she did it with a smile on her face.

Augustin (the head chef) is wonderful. He knew we wanted a unique menu so he helped us create a high-end tex mex meal - carne asada, potatoes with queso blanco, rice, chips and guacamole, etc. We were so excited because the food we ate on our wedding day tasted EXACTLY like the trial meal we had when we first met Chef's Table. I have no idea how they were able to mass produce such delicious food but everything was phenomenal. People are still telling us how good the meal was! I'm still thinking about that steak and guacamole! It means so much to me that they prepared us such a unique and delicious meal.

Finally, the service was very very good. The waiters were discreet and efficient - water glasses were never empty and dirty dishes were never left out. Every time the bartender saw me coming he'd have my drink of choice poured and ready to go before I could even ask. And again, the extra help the staff offered - packing up our things, coordinating with the other vendors - really put them over the top as far as value.

Go with Chef's Table. Glennis will keep your entire life running smoothly and the food will be outstanding.

From the time we had the tasting with the Chef's Table I kenw they were a great company. They were just moving into their showroom and couldn't hold tastings there yet so we went to Augustin invited us to his house to hold the tasting. At the reception Glennis and her staff pretty much saved the day. I hired a wedding planner who was terrible. Glennis let me leave all of the items for the reception at the showroom and they took them to the reception for me, this included items for the guest book table, photo booth table, memorial table, and all the alcohol for the event. This was a huge weight off my shoulders that I didn't have to worry about getting it to the event. At the reception my wedding planner didn't get there until late so Glennis and her staff actually set up the tables as well. The food was amazing and we got a bunch of compliments on that. We provided the alcohol (my parents could get it cheaper on base) but they provided all the mixers and there was never any complaints about the bar. Glennis worked with the DJ in a coordinator sort of role to make sure the evening ran smoothly and because of her the night was perfect. I definitely recommend people use them for their weddings!

Choosing the Chef’s Table to cater our wedding event was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. The food at Chef's Table is delicious, and Agustin and Glennis are wonderful and responded to all our needs as well as providing great suggestions to help make our day just right. We had a small intimate wedding but that did not matter to them. The level of service was outstanding. And, on the day of our wedding, Agustin and his staff provided more than just catering. They helped with all aspects of the event, from helping decide on the arrangement of the ceremony chairs to ensuring people lined up and walked down the aisle at the right time to providing great food. Throughout the event, he made sure everything was the way we wanted it to be The Chef’s Table demonstrated the highest quality and professionalism and we could not have been more pleased. We highly recommend Chef's Table for a wedding or any social event. We will definitely use them again when we have need.

I cannot write enough great things about Augustin. Working with my family is a nightmare because we are a big Italian lot and everyone had an opinion about everything. He let three people come to my tasting and took every single call and redesign in stride. There was a ton of internal conflict about things and Augustin was so cool about it. He did more to calm my stresses than anyone during the whole wedding weekend! His ideas were flawless and even when my family bombed at carrying some of them out he was quick to come up with plan B during the reception. We ended up eating an HOUR after the set dinnertime but because of his quick thinking the food still tasted great. The next time one of us gets married we agreed we will definitely come back to the Chef's Table! The food was amazing too. An amazing value for the price. And Order the meatballs!! The whole time during pictures I kept getting people to bring me more and the guests gobbled them right up.

The food at Chef's Table is delicious! My fiance and I had to choose a caterer from an approved list from our reception vendor and Chef's Table was the perfect choice for us.
Agustin and Glennis were fabulous and responded to our requests, needs and wants as well as helped us decide what options to choose. They were very patient with us during our decision process and were genuinely interested in our suggestions during our tasting. The best part is they actually listened to and used our suggestions and preferences at our event, which I think is the best example of quality and professionalism that any client could ask for. We highly recommend Chef's Table for wedding or any social event.

I chose the chefs table to cater my wedding at the Medowlark Botanical Gardens, and I could not be happier with the way things went from start to finish. Agustin is not only a catering guru, but he was the best source of information I had about flowers, layout, and timing. I must have changed the menu at least 4 times, but each time he worked with me and sent an updated contract. The linen/ flatware/ table setting selection was huge, so you will not have a problem finding exactly what you want to match your scheme and style. I interviewed several other caterers before choosing the Chefs table, and from comparing contracts, menus, and prices, the Chefs Table was the best value for the buck (and the best tasting!). I am super picky and generally hard to impress, so this review should speak volumes for how wonderful everything was. The day of the reception went so smoothly it seemed effortless. The wait/bar staff was also very excellent. I would highly reccommed the chefs table!

Agustin was wonderful to work with! He was very personable, responsive, and a great value! The food was amazing and our guest still talk about how wonderful their meal was! The quality of service was great and he personally helped us prepare and manage everything until we got in the limo and drove off into the night! We would highly recommend The Chef's Table Caterers and Agustin to everyone!

The best food we tasted. Also, Agustin's personality made the day. He had wonderful ideas and was very detailed oriented. We told him our colors (sage green) before our tasting. He created a green apple martini. It was absolutely beautiful with our colors. The prices were cheaper than other caterers in the area and the food was better. All of the servers were wonderful as well.

The Chef's Table was amazing! Not only was the food delicious, but Augustin helped us through every step of our wedding planning, giving recommendations, and working with our venue to make sure all the details would come together. First off I should note I have worked in event planning and my own business deals with wedding planners frequently. TCT is a stellar vendor, we were so happy with our choice in catering! Kelly did a wonderful job helping me through planning and acting as a Day of Coordinator through the reception (as I did not have one). They wow'd us at the tasting, serving us a full meal that we were able to nitpick to get exactly what we wanted, right down to asking for more cream and less chives on the potatoes! They were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Aside from food and dresses, I did the whole wedding myself, and Kelly's help and advice helped keep me sane through the process. And oh my gosh the food. It was delicious! We didn't even notice any change in quality from the tasting to the day of, despite the vast difference in numbers of servings and it having to be prepared earlier. Their chef is just amazing. The only minor things keeping it from being a full on 5/5 was that the cake was cut into very messy pieces, some of them piles of cake crumbles more than a slice and the table numbers got flipped so the front row from the dance floor was lower tables instead of VIP, and family tables got served one later than we intended. The cake was delicious, and beautiful so it was a bummer that it looked so messy served, but it's not like that affected the taste any, and the table flip wasn't that big a deal. I think there was a simple misunderstanding in my explanation of how the layout should go. The tables themselves were arranged perfectly and the favor tables, sign in board, etc were all set up to show them off to their fullest. All in all, I don't think you could find a better vendor out there. From the prices, menu selection, delicious food, flexibility, planning services included, and day of set up and guidance, TCT cannot be beat!

We loved working with MC and Augustin at the Chef's Table. They are both incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend to others.

During the planning process, my fiance & I were invited to enjoy a private meal of the proposed wedding menu, including appetizers and drinks, which allowed us to discuss any modifications with the chef and our event coordinator. It was a nice touch not offered by other caterers, and it became apparent that The Chef's Table was willing to take the time and interest to understand our desires for the wedding. Nicole, our coordinator, suggested a duo of filet and seabass in order to accommodate the tastes of most guests, and this turned out to be a perfect option. More than one guest commented to me on how good the food was, as well as how generous the portions were. A number of great appetizers were served during our cocktail hour, but my favorite was the truffled mac n' cheese on ceramic spoons! This was a fun and unique option suggested to us by Nicole.

My fiance and his friends enjoy their adult beverages, so having a full bar was important to us. Fortunately, The Chef's Table was very flexible in this regard, allowing us to choose and buy which alcohol, beer and wine to serve. The Chef's Table also helped us in leveraging a vendor partner for rental of a true bar, furthering our drinks service.

Nicole was patient and kind with the changes in guest count, linens, etc. that inevitably occurred as our event drew near. Nicole took it all in stride and made sure everything was in place on the big day. My wedding planner was a dear family friend from out-of-state, which could have made communication more difficult, but Nicole rose to the occasion magnificently.

Finally, I appreciated that the contract from The Chef's Table was itemized and detailed - there were no hidden costs or surprises or attempts to "up-sell".

I have fabulous memories from my wedding day - it was even better than I imagined! Thank you, Chef's Table!

We hired The Chef's table to cater a 50th wedding anniversary dinner dance celebration for about 140 guests. The planning, service, and food were all excellent. The coordinator was very responsive. The serving team on the night of the event were all gracious and responsive. The set-up of the room was beautiful. We couldn't have been more pleased.
