Kennedy was absolutely incredible to work with! She took the time to really get to know me, my style, and what I was looking for. She even helped me explore ideas with my mom’s dress, which meant so much.
She did such a great job of understanding my style that I could truly see myself in each dress she picked out. But she absolutely nailed it on the first try, and that ended up being the one! She was so patient and truly felt like a partner in the process. I am so grateful to have worked with her. :)

Top-notch experience and great customer service
This shop was the platonic ideal of of wedding boutique. I had been to several boutiques at this point and was feeling a little run down but The Bustle gave us the full bridal experience from a custom sign out front of the store to complimentary champagne. Our stylist, Kennedy, was warm and welcoming and very helpful in feeling out the right vibe and style for me, a bride who really does not dress up that often. My Elysee gown was a showstopper at my wedding and I'm so glad they helped me find it. The cherry on top was how easy it was for me to ship the dress from CA to DC with no trouble. The gowns are on the pricey side but I'd say they're absolutely worth it.

Fantastic experience with amazing staff
After shopping with my maid of honor for her wedding dress at The Bustle, I had a premonition I would find mine there as well. What makes The Bustle stand out is its layout and its staff. It was really nice to be in a room with just my party; it felt more intimate and less chaotic than some of the other places I visited. I also really appreciated that I could pre-select some styles that I was interested in ahead of time to help my stylist get a feel for what I would be open to trying on. As someone who had no idea what type of dress I was going to wear, Emily made me feel so comfortable and never pressured me towards a certain dress or made me feel rushed, and always presented me with options within my budget. Every visit, from shopping to purchasing to picking up to alterations was as great as the next, and they certainly made me feel looked after and very special. Plus the dress was GORGEOUS!

Best dress shopping experience!
When I say The Bustle made it a breeze from start to finish with wedding dress shopping, I mean it. Lexi helped me with my fitting appointment and I told her my vision and sure enough she brought out my dream dress on the very FIRST pick. I put it on and instantly started crying because it was what I had been dreaming of for so many years and she helped me achieve that dream! Going back in for alterations and additional fittings was also so easy and not stressful at ALL, which is all you can hope for as a bride with no wedding planner!! They were such a treat to work with and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!!

I had the best experience wedding dress shopping with The Bustle in Del Mar. The boutique is so cute, we were given champagne upon arrival, and my stylist did a great job pulling styles for me based on what I described to her. It was the third boutique I visited, and I said yes to my dress that day! Highly recommend for any bride.

LOOOOVVVVVEEEEDDDD my experience at The Bustle - I went for a dress appointment in June 2019 - after going sooooo many many different stores -thinking they would be out of my price range. BUT to my surprise not only was the place adorable and in my price range an old high school friend ended up being my lovely stylist during my appointment. Upon arrival, you are greeted with adorable details and your own personal room. The room you are put into is based on your price range so your possy can run wild without breaking the bank. Their amazing selection was unlike many of the other places I went and I ended up having my bridal moment and found THE ONE. After finding the one I got my dress exactly when expected in December 2019. Overall my experience was magical and I cannot recommend The Bustle enough if you want a special experience. One thing to note is that they do not do alterations in-house (but have a recommendation) and had a small veil collection.

An Amazing Experience
Growing up in San Diego, we would always drive by The Bustle and I would admire the dresses in the window, or peek into the store while picking up food at Double Happiness, and I would think to myself, “one day.” Well, now I can officially say I am a “Bustle Bride.”
My mom, sister, and I came in on Saturday to find my dream dress and my consultant, Brooke, did just that and more. The Bustle shows its care for each client the moment you approach the store front and see a sign welcoming you as their “bride-to-be.” We were welcomed by Brooke and Paytin who offered us some bubbly and water (and the bubbly was very much appreciated).
Brooke sat down with me and asked me questions about my fiancé, where we are getting married, and my vision for a wedding dress including things I like and do not like in dresses. She patiently listened and took notes while I shared my thoughts and talked about other dresses I have tried on. Even though I had selected some dresses on their appointment portal before coming in, they also allowed my mom, sister, and I to look over the racks and see if anything stood out to us. Brooke directed us to the right area to look that was in our budget. The first dress I tried on was beautiful, but the second dress took my breath away (and ended up being my dress). Brooke recommended some other dresses to try on just so I could make sure I was set on my decision.
Besides finding my dress, Brooke was the standout moment from The Bustle. She got me in and out of dresses, and back into and out of dresses that I liked. She was supportive but not pushy and I really was able to feel that she was just there to help me feel happy and beautiful. She was always ready to grab a veil, headpiece, or belt if we asked and she is an EXPERT dress train fluffer. She also patiently endured all the staring at myself in the mirror that I did while I tried to imagine myself in each dress at my wedding. When it came down to two dresses, I never felt pushed into a decision; Brooke just asked me questions about how I felt, so it was very much my decision in the end. She patiently stood next to me holding the other dress I was considering while I looked in the mirror and made my decision. She was so, so kind.
Overall, it was such a warm, happy moment and I am so glad that I found my dress at The Bustle because it has been my dream since I was a little girl. The dress was also well under my budget! I plan on coming back with my sister to look for bridesmaid dresses, too. :)

I truly enjoyed working with The Bustle! They have an online system that assists you with appointments and allows you to select specific dresses you want to try on during your visit. Your stylist will also pull additional styles during your visit.
Upon arrival you will see a personalized sign and have your own private studio. Jordan was my stylist and I absolutely adored her! She had us laughing and smiling the entire visit and providing excellent service. She also let me know their seamstress works wonders and can essentially do anything you need (for an extra fee of course) which allows you to customize your dress if needed/wanted.
I ended up selecting a dress at a different boutique but when I called to let them know they offered sincere congratulations and excitement for me! I highly recommend The Bustle and Jordan! They are organized, professional, personable, responsive and a joy to work with! They also offer a discount if you purchase a dress during your first visit!

Bustle experience was amazing
I had the pleasure of working with Leilani throughout the whole process of selecting my dress. She was so helpful, sweet and made me feel very special. I loved coming to the venue and seeing my name on the chalkboard and having treats/champagne. She really listened to me and helped pick my dream dress and accessories. The bustle was so much fun! From the ease of scheduling an appointment, to your name on a chalkboard, to the private fitting room that you and your entourage can relax in- I loved it! My consultant Mariah was so sweet, and really listened to what I wanted. I tried on a TON of dresses, and finally found the one. It arrived quickly (probably due to luck). I also got some accessories here, as well as my flower girl dress that everyone was OBSESSED with, and was a perfect color match to mine as well.

The Bustle was THE experience brides-to-be are looking for - personalized, one-on-one attention, champagne, little treats, beautiful dresses within your price point and no distractions. Setting up an appointment was super easy and when you arrive, they have a little customized welcome sign dedicated to you! Since you tell them your price point to begin with, your 'dressing room' (more like a whole small boutique to yourself) has about 4 racks of dresses that are within your budget. I really liked how I had the whole area to myself and those who came with me had a nice couch to perch on while I tried on dresses. I worked with Leilani - she was super sweet, never pushed her opinion, and never made me feel pressured to buy; rather, she listened to what I liked and ultimately helped me find my dress! I highly suggest The Bustle to new brides!

Favorite Bridal store in San Diego
My family and I had a great experience at the Bustle. The store is a cute Boutique on the main street in Del Mar. I worked with Tiffany to find my perfect gown, veil and earrings. They separate gowns into different rooms based on price so you did not have to worry about going over your budget. She started the appointment looking at pictures of gowns I liked and had tried on in other stores. Then she let my family and me pick out gowns to try on. We continued to try on the gowns and narrow them down into only the gowns I liked. I don’t make decisions easily and Tiffany was very patient and never pushy. After finding my gown (a Stella York), at my pick up appointment, Tiffany helped me select a matching veil and cute earrings. I would highly recommend getting your gown from the Bustle.

Mariah Williams at The Bustle was wonderful! She helped me find my perfect wedding dress- all I had to do was give her some pictures of the dress I envisioned and my budget. She picked out some gowns that she thought I would like and by the 3rd gown, I found my wedding dress! She stayed well within my budget (on the lower end) and made the process so easy for me. She was very attentive and responsive to my questions. She also helped me pick out veils, shoes, and jewelry for the look. I highly recommend Mariah at The Bustle!

I felt so lucky to shop at The Bustle. It was my very first stop shopping for a wedding dress. My consultant, Mariah, made me feel wonderful. She was so kind and personable. I didn't know what I wanted in a dress, and although she put me in totally different styles, they were all gorgeous. She really understood my taste immediately. I had a fairly short timeline to find a dress before it would be too late and spent a few days going to 5 different boutiques - trying on about 28 dresses. I narrowed it down to 2, but still felt slightly unsure with them after looking at my photos in them the next day.
I finally went to my appointment at the Bustle and I am so glad I did! It was honestly the best bridal appointment that I had. Sara talked through the photos I showed her, asking questions about what I'd envisioned. The very first dress - was the one - my mom teared up as soon as she saw me in it. Still, I did try a few more dresses that Sara had selected and truly, all of them were beautiful making it difficult to choose. Sara's recommendations were completely on point as every dress she selected spoke to certain elements of what I had in mind; something I had not experienced at other boutiques. The whole experience was uncomplicated and fun for my mom and I, with champagne and cupcakes to top it off!

The BEST Bridal Experience ever; I said yes to the dress!! Okay, so I had been to 4 other bridal boutiques just to try on 'silhouettes'. I yelped this place and saw great reviews so I booked my appointment.
From the moment you walk up and see your name, step into your own private bridal salon and start trying on dresses it is classy and elegant every step!!
I had my eye on designer, Enzoani and after trying on 4 gorgeous ones; it wasn't until the last dress that my amazing consultant Sara pulled for me did I find "the one"! It actually made me tear up and envision walking down the isle to my fiance. Even more, her 'suggestion' wound up being under my budget and showed me she was really listening to what I wanted, our wedding theme and value. I couldn't have been more pleased with the atmosphere and Sarah.
To sum up:
*Beautiful selections with reasonable to extravagant pricing options
*They do not "sell" you, they "serve" you

I purchased my dress from the Bustle and it was PERFECT! Sara was by far the best consultant! She made me feel comfortable and made sure to help me find the dress just for me! I had so much fun working with her and shopping at the Bustle. This was the ONLY place I went to find my dress and never felt I needed to go anywhere else. I loved everything about it and had the best experience. They treat you right and make you feel so special for your big day! I went back and bought the hair pin from their shop as well! My wedding day was October 21 and it could not have been anymore perfect and I can't thank you guys enough! My dress was everything I could have hoped for and more! I didn't end up getting my dress here since nothing quite fit what I was looking for. However, I was blown away with how helpful they were. You get your own privacy by having a private room which you don't get at a lot of places. They had a great selection of dresses and were very transparent on what was in my budget which I appreciated. They even brought myself and my bridesmaids some champagne while we waited outside for the room to become available. I really appreciated all of their assistance and the stylist really did her best to nail down my style! I'd definitely recommend it to future brides!

I loved this place! Beautiful location and cute boutique. I didn't find my dress here because their selection wasn't as large as some other places but they really make you feel like a VIP. They had a personalized welcome sign outside and was greeted with pastries and champagne for everyone in my party. You get a 1 on 1 apt with a consultant. She was very nice and showed me beautiful dresses. Too bad I'm picky and didn't pick any of their dresses but I am glad I got to have the VIP bridal experience! It was awesome!

I bought my wedding dress here. I was very impressed by the customer service. I looked amazing and just how I imagined. I brought my best friend with me (she is getting married in April ) and she too bought her dress while she was there. We were very well taken care of and I highly reccomened them to any brides who want quality service and a fantastic selection.
I live out of town and had a small window to shop while I was in San Diego.
I cousins believe we were able to find our dresses so fast. Thanks again for everything!

I originally heard about the Bustle online and met with one of their employees at the San Diego Bridal Show held at the convention center who was extremely nice and helpful. I had asked her if they carried any Stella York dresses and she informed me that they were actually having a trunk show for her line in March, so I called the next day and made my appointment! I came to the Bustle after already trying on a few other wedding dresses, per their suggestion. The day of my appointment I was working with Leilani who was an absolute sweetheart. I showed her all the pictures on my phone of dresses I was wanting to try and she was very patient and found some amazing options. She was able to find one dress that I have been eyeing since before I was engaged and a similar style dress that were both Stella York, they were the last two dresses I tried on and the dress I chose was actually the one Leilani had chosen and not the one I had been eyeing for so long! Her choice was too perfect and just me!

Katie was fantastic. Since I'd been to a few appointments beforehand, I knew what looked good on me. She listened to me pulled the style I was looking for. She also knew the stock and designers very well, didn't try to go over my budget, and was very friendly but not fawning. It was well worth the 2 hour drive from Los Angeles!!

Everything went amazing and smoothly at the Bustle! They were supportive, so helpful, and incredibly fun to be around. I didn't feel pressured to like or try on anything that was not appealing to me. And most importantly, I did not feel rushed whatsoever.

The Bustle is the perfect place for any bride to be to shop for their wedding dress. I have visited other boutiques as a bridesmaid, but decided to give this place a try as my first stop. Not only was this my first stop, it became my one & only! Not only was my boutique coordinator Leilani professional, helpful, & friendly; every little detail was catered to me & my guests. It started with a sign posted outside welcoming me with my name on it & a round of champagne while picking out dresses. Being that I am a petite bride w/a small budget, I was worried I felt out of place. I was surely proven wrong! Leilani helped me narrow down to the PERFECT dress. I honestly did not expect to say yes to the dress at my first stop. On top of that, I got a dress $600 under my budget! Could not be happier! Few other tips to expect: they do not do alterations, all sales are final, 15% off if you say yes at 1st appointment

Before trying on dresses at The Bustle, I'd gone to 4 other dress shops & tried on too many dresses to remember. I never had a bad experience, but my experience at The Bustle far surpassed the other places I'd gone. I felt completely special and like I was the only bride there from the moment I arrived. The customer service was outstanding and Natalie was SO wonderful and helpful! I went in with a pretty good idea of what I liked, but just hadn't found "The One" yet. After chatting about what I thought I wanted in my dress, she brought many beautiful options for me to try on and all in the price range I waned to stay in. She let me try on the 2 dresses I was between multiple times and I think I tried on my actual dress at least 3 times! This was the first dress appointment I went to by myself so she helped me FaceTime with my mom and sister when I thought I'd found my dress! It really was a great experience and whether brides find their dress here or not, I highly recommend making an appointment here. You'll have an amazing experience! I'm so happy and in love with my dress!!

All of the staff were really helpful. I wasn't expecting to leave with a dress but fell in love with "The one". I came back again to get moms stamp of approval. Both times I was at Bustle I was treated like a princess. These girls really know what they are doing! I would recommend all brides to go to the Bustle. I was greeted with a personalized sign with my name on it plus my entire family and I got Champage. They even gave my future 9 year old step daughter water in a Champage glass so She could be included. I tried on different dresses and Matija was so nice and so funny and helpful. In the end I found my perfect dress and we were given more Champage, did a cheers and took many photos wearing the dress. It was such a wonderful experience. I will remember this forever and have wonderful pictures to scrapbook.

I received a very personalized experience at The Bustle; from the chalkboard greeting with my name on it, to the welcome champagne toast, to the private appointment with a sweet, accommodating stylist. The stylist spent time getting to know my style and help me get to the right dress that I fell in love with. I never felt rushed or pressured into purchasing a dress. Finally, I loved the small touches that made my experience feel so special (asking if I am saying yes to the dress, and receiving a rose to take home with me).

My experience at The Bustle was absolutely amazing! Staff are very professional and sweet, gowns are reasonably priced.They really make the dress shopping experience so special with their personal touches like champagne waiting for us upon arrival, your name written on a cute chalkboard sign outside of the door to welcome your entourage. They were also flexible when I could not make up my mind on a dress and I was leaving town soon so they let me book an appointment last minute that same day to make sure I could come back and try the dress on again to be sure.

I went to a couple different shops to look for wedding dresses and this place was by far the best. My mom, sister and 2 niece's came with me and the woman who helped was amazing. She was fully engaged and gave my niece's a job as "dress fluffer". The excitement in them was priceless. We had such a fun time. I found the most beautiful dress that was perfect for me, but the experience is what I will never forget. Thank you for such great service.

I had originally planned on just making an appointment with The Bustle to get a feel of what kind of dress would suit me and get my girlfriends together to ask them to be my bridesmaids. I thought the dresses would be way out of my budget so I even fibbed about my budget. Maria helped me and I was instantly comfortable with her. I let my girls and mom pick a few dresses ready to play dress up for the day. When of course I get to the dress my matron of honor picked for me I put it on and oh no! started crying it was so perfect for me and the wedding we envisioned. I was scared to ask how much it was and when they told me $1,100 I was surprised! And you get a discount of you buy same day which we did! Such a great feeling and The Bustle makes everything so much more special providing cake and champagne! Its such a gorgeous shoppe.
We also went to the Bridesmaids party they hosted months later it was so much fun the girls here are really sweet and helpful! I finally got to wear my dress earlier this month and it was a dream come true!

I found my dream dress at the Bustle - I arrived with a specific dress in mind, showed them some photos, and they picked out the exact right one. I organized all of my alterations through them, and the seamstress went above and beyond making sure that it was exactly how I wanted it. I got so many compliments on the dress on my wedding day, with several guests telling me that it was the most beautiful wedding dress they'd ever seen. I am so grateful to the girls at the Bustle for helping me find the perfect dress!

What a wonderful way to end my day of dress shopping by finding "the one" at The Bustle! My sister, mom, and I were greeted by a chalkboard adorned with my name and glasses of champagne. The shop overlooks the ocean, with large windows, and a dutch door allowing a slight breeze into the space. Everything about this place oozes shabby chic bridal. I had a blast trying on the dresses Sarah pulled specific to my taste. Needless to say, I would highly recommend this dress shop to any soon-to-be bride!

We had 7 salon appointments, but my daughter found her perfect dress at The Bustle- a cute little shop in Del Mar. Prices were mid-range for wedding gowns and they offer a 15% discount if you purchase at the first appointment which we did. Go here after checking a few other salons to take advantage of the discount.

This was the first place I went when I was dress shopping and fell in love instantly. It has a very small and cozy feel to it which I loved- the idea of being in a huge shop would be overwhelming. You and your guests get to relax in an beautifully decorated boutique like space which champagne and little snacks while the bride gets treated like a princess. The girls that work there take the chance to get to know what you like and make suggestions off of that. When I found my dress, I fell in love with it and so did all of my "entourage". What I loved about this place was they still had me try on a bunch of other dress styles to "make sure" which I think is a really great thing! They met every "delivery date" or "finished by" date that they promised and doing alterations with them was great as well. Very accommodating and did such a wonderful job. You have to go here!!!

I had such a lovely experience shopping here. I was at my wit's end trying to find a dress that met all of my requirements, and I finally found it here at the Bustle. They had my name on a little welcome chalkboard outside the shop, they offered us champagne and cupcakes, and when I found my dress and had to call my mom to get the OK, they were patient and let me twirl in the dress a while longer.
When I left, they gave me a rose as well. Such a beautiful place to find a dress! Also, really great that they had sizes that accommodated me, as a bigger bride. I was a size 12 in street clothes, so finding vendors that had anything above size 8 was difficult.

The Bustle was the first and last place that I went dress shopping. From the friendly and helpful staff to the beautiful dresses, there was no reason to shop any further. I loved having the entire boutique to myself and didn't feel any pressure to purchase that day, although the 15% discount definitely helped. They let me keep the gown on and stare in the mirror for as long as I wanted, and allowed my Mom to take photos once we committed to purchasing it. They provided champagne to celebrate. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend The Bustle to any brides in the area.

All of the dresses at the Bustle are beautiful and made of high quality fabrics! Matija put me in dresses that she knew would flatter my figure and within a price range I was comfortable with. The cherry on top was the service and setting. You are the only bride there during your appointment, they really get to know you and your wedding, they help you into the gown, and the shop itself is gorgeous. After a few negative dress shopping experiences, I luckily found The Bustle in Del Mar! They were holding a trunk show of the designer I loved and I jumped right on it! They were able to fit me in with me giving them only a few days notice! Matija was exceptionally professional while making me feel laid back and confident. She was so fun and excited for my dress find and I am sooo glad I ended up buying my dress that day! My dress is gorgeous and I cannot wait to wear it! I want to start off by saying my Mother & I enjoyed every moment we spent at The Bustle in regards to my wedding gown selection & alterations. At The Bustle, all brides are treated like princesses.
When my Mom & I arrived at the charming bridal boutique, I was greeted by a cute chalkboard easel saying, "Welcome Bride to be Kelly." The Bustle is like walking into a real life bridal fairytale. The quaint yet spacious room was lined with sparkling gowns with frothy tulles, rich taffeta, sumptuous silk, and romantic lace of all kinds. Veils draped graciously from stylish coat racks and a glass case beckoned brides to gaze longingly at the many sparkling treasures within ( all types of hair accessories imaginable, broaches, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, tiaras, and more.) The whole "Bustle experience" is really a bit decadent (in all the best ways). At The Bustle, they only take care of one bride at a time. Upon arrival, the bride to be plus her support team are led to a fluffy white coach and offered a glass of champagne and scrumptious bite size cakes. What more could you want! The Bustle really is a one stop shop for nearly all your bridal gown needs.
My Mother & I met wedding gown specialist, Matija, at my first bridal gown experience, ever. Young, sweet and full of excitement for me, Matija was and is a delight. Matija was professional, charming, and she really knew the inventory. She also called me in advance of my appointment to learn what type of wedding gown I dreamed of wearing on the day I married the "Man of My Dreams." She had several options waiting for me when we arrived. My time at The Bustle was dream- like ( Matija knew what dress would compliment my style and figure the most.) I found my dress that very day.
The Bustle Bridal Boutique also provides expert alterations. Ask for Roxie, alterations specialist extraordinaire. She made my dress fit to perfection!! It was even comfortable! Roxie is amazing!

I had such a great experience here. They had snacks and champagne and the cutest sign welcoming me. I was not pressured at all (way different then the OC boutiques I went to) and had the best experience. I bought my dress and accessories here and they even offered to do my alterations. Love this place!

Although I wasn't planning on buying a dress for my Chicago wedding in Del Mar, my experience at The Bustle was so perfect I could not help myself! The dresses were lovely, and the sales associates are extremely helpful. They were great at keeping in touch with me during those weeks that we were awaiting delivery, and have even followed-up since then to make sure that the dress was perfect. It was really a one-of-a-kind experience that I will always remember.

The ladies at The Bustle were fab! I currently live 3,000 miles away and they were very accommodating and helpful in making sure I got all my fittings in during my few trips to San Diego before the wedding. I wear an insulin pump and the seamstress was incredible and made a special pocket in my dress to allow easy access to my pump without it being visible. I loved seeing my name on the chalk board out side the store every time I went in.They really make you feel special.

The bustle was great. They opened the shop just for me. They made the experience just wonderful....every time I was in.....the first time and all my fittings :) They were so helpful and weren't pushy. Because I bought off the rack, I got a good price. They also offer makeup and hair services....great idea! During my practice run she listened to me and tried different colors. She knew if there was something I didn't like and she took it off and re-applied without a blink. She was great and easy to get along with. She also came to my hotel before the wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! When I walked up to the boutique there was a chalkboard outside the said, "Welcome our Bride to be Kate" it was so special. We were greeted by the consultant and given champagne. The consultant pulled dresses and listened to my input. I was the only one trying on dresses in the salon so it made it a very private and special moment when I found my dress. If you are wedding dress shopping in the San Diego area I would recommend you make an appointment at The Bustle! The dresses were not overpriced and the selection was gorgeous!

I loved this place! I had never heard of it until my wedding dress search and I felt like it was home! The staff was awesome and I felt like they really care and it was so personal. A small but quaint place. I would definately reccomend this place to other brides!

The Bustle was an unexpected diamond in the ruff when I was searching for dresses. I was hunting all over and calling major dress shops throughout southern CA when I stumbled on the Bustle. I called and they did not have the exact dress I thought I wanted (but they carried the designer) and I went in anyway on a whim. I ended up not only finding something that was a better fit for me, but I am thrilled that I did a 180 on my dress silhouette. The staff bent over backwards to make sure every bead was in it's place up until the wedding day! Emily was my personal helper and made me very comfortable with my fittings. They were so accommodating and I wish I could do it all over again!

I loved my experience at The Bustle. When I came, they had wrote "Congratulations to Our New Bride" with my name on a chalkboard out front. I thought it was a very nice touch! It was very comfortable inside for my family to sit, and we were all given a glass of Champagne while we talked about what I was looking for. They brought cake out too! I tried on multiple dresses and Allison, the owner, was so patient and friendly with everything. She was so helpful and made the experience such a great one!

I had a great time dress shopping here!! They greeted my family and I with a chalkboard that welcomed us to the shop. They had champagne and treats for us to snack on. I purchased a Maggie Sottero gown from the Bustle. My experience with my consultant (Matija) was exeptional. After going to stores where you see several other brides at the same time (and see them in the dress I wanted to try on!) I loved the experience at the Bustle so much more. You have the store to yourself as they only book one appointment at a time. It lets you feel so special, and that you aren't JUST another bride... I was an out of town bride, and they made all of my appointments work for the limited time I was in town. My dress even came in early and Matija called immediately to let me know. Also, my veil ended up with a small hole in it, and they took care of replacing it immediately and without any hassle. The alterations are done on site. I changed my neckline to a sweetheart and it looked perfect. I did have to have FOUR fittings because the seamstress wouldn't shorten the dress as much as I kept asking for, so that was frustrating to say the least. In the end though, my gown was the dress of my dreams and I loved my experience at The Bustle!

When I arrived at The Bustle for my appointment I was greeted outside by a chalkboard that said "Welcome Emily, Our Bride to Be!" I was instantly impressed with the welcoming atmosphere! During my private consultation the door was closed to the public with a sign on it saying "Please visit us another time, we are with a bride." I felt like a queen. Emily helped me find my dress, got me in and out of as many as I wanted to try on and was just a dream to work with. I was standing on the pedestal when she put a veil on me and showed me how my dress could be bustled. I was sold. It was a wonderful experience!

This is an adorable store in Del Mar, that is for brides only. When you set up your appointment they close the store for one bride at a time and write your name on a chalk board to welcome you. It makes the experience feel very personal and special. I found a beautiful dress that I absolutely loved and they were able to get everything done within the timeline and I had nothing to stress about the entire time. Highly reccomend looking for your wedding dress at this adorable shop. All of the girls are very friendly and helpful!! Great Experience that I will remember for the rest of my life! :)

The Bustle is great! The have great service and I love that you can get your dress and alterations in one place! My dress arrived on time and was perfect! They had to make a few alterations which took about 2 weeks and I was able to take it home as soon as it was done! They have the cutest chalk board in the front with your name when you walk in as well!

After watching one too many “wedding dress shows” I had my doubts about going dress shopping! But I made an appointment at The Bustle and figured it was a good place to start (I really liked how they listed their price range). The minute I saw the cute little sign outside the store welcoming “Our bride to be… (me)” I knew it was the best place! The store is adorable, clean, and just makes you feel good. My appointment was with Emily Foster – and she is amazing! She listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to push dresses on me. I did try on one dress that was over my budget, but she shared that with me right away before even letting me try it on. The entire experience was wonderful. Although I tried on several dresses – I fell in love with the very first one I tried on- in my opinion- that means Emily actually knows what she is doing. Emily also did my alterations and again she was amazing! During the course of my alteration appointments – I got to meet some of the other staff, they are extremely friendly and all seem very good at what they do! People still haven’t stopped talking about my dress!!! Especially my husband! I strongly recommend The Bustle to every bride!

The Bustle can easily be your first and last stop for dress shopping. They’re that good. This shop is meticulous when it comes to detail and ensuring that you have the best experience possible!
In walking into the store front, I was greeted by cute chalkboard personalized with my name to welcome the bride. Then offered complimentary champagne and Nothing Bundt Cake samples during the appointment. Whaaaaaaat. :)
You are the only bride in your assigned room, which is great because you can bond with your bridal ensemble and find your dress in private without distraction… or unwanted judgement from strangers lol.
They send confirmation and reminder emails of your appointment time.
Accessories also seem affordable if you purchase them there… I know because I looked around and I couldn’t find a better deal for what I wanted!
Natalie & Matija were wonderful to work with. Not pushy or trying to close a sale in your face. I had a specific budget for my dress and alterations* ($2000-$3000 overall) and they were able to pull dresses that fit within the range of my budget as well as style preferences which I appreciated so much. They also were able to recommend accessories to try on so I could visualize the complete picture as much as possible. There are so many beautiful dresses here and I was very pleased to find THE ONE. Cue more champagne in the store. It was an $1800 beautiful Stella York sheath gown adorned with ivory floral lace that flowed organically onto the material, with just the right amount of sparkle, a sweetheart bust, an illusion necklace, and an intricate back. IT WAS A SUPER MAGICAL MOMENT. Couldn’t believe that everything I liked about wedding dresses was on one dress. In checking their website, they offer a 10% discount if you purchase your dress on your first visit. I wanted to shop around though (since there are no returns on wedding gowns) so if you want this discount, save them as your last store. Check them out!

My experience at The Bustle was simply perfect! I had a fairly large group with me and we all agree that Sarah at The Bustle set the tone for an amazing day with family - never hurts to be welcomed with a glass of champagne. I went significantly over the original budget my mom had set for me but when she saw me in the dress she said forget the budget! While the dress is stunning I think my mom was mostly willing to spend more because she was so happy with how the day went.
My mom and sister actually flew in from CT to take me dress shopping and I couldn't be more thankful for The Bustle for creating such a happy and comfortable atmosphere - it was truly worth the trip out to CA for them!

Dress shopping was one of the most fun moments of wedding prep BECAUSE of our experience at The Bustle. My mom, friend and I went to 3 stores, and The Bustle by far was the best. We had the room to ourselves, were given chocolates and champagne, and the customer service was top notch. I ended up finding my dress here, but getting it at a different store because it was slightly cheaper there. But I came back for a belt and hair piece because their selections were amazing. In hindsight, I would have just bought my dress from The Bustle because it was not that much more expensive than the other store, and the atmosphere is great!

This place is so cute, friendly, and fun! I recently went dress shopping to several different places in the San Diego area. At first I wasnt sure if it was better to go to the larger places with more options or a smaller shop with less options but better quality. What I found out was the large places are Walmart like and you tend to feel very overwhelmed with the selection and the service is usually not very personal and more forceful.
When you arrive to the Bustle you have a private appointment and you can look through all of their dresses any try on anything you like. They are also very knowledgeable about the styles they have and how they fit so they can stear you in the right direction and make reccomendations for you.
This Bustle's customer service exceeded (by lightyears) the other Boutique shops in SD. You get the feeling they are really trying to help you find the right dress for your day not just trying to get you to buy a dress, any dress in their store. Some of the other Boutique places had a very different feeling. Many were very rude if you didnt like some of their dresses (almost like you hurt their feelings and now they are mad at you) and wouldn't accomidate my requests to bring a out of town friend back. In addition some said they would call be back and never did. the Bustle is quiet the opposite, they will go out of thier way to help you and make this experience memorable. As a side note, they were so kind to open their store a 1/2 hour early just so that my out of town friend could see the dress. Not many stores would be willing to do that, wedding dress store or not.
I absolutely reccomend the Bustle, you will regret it if you miss it. It was what I always dreamed of when I thought about trying on my dress.

Dream dress
I had a fantastic experience at the Bustle. I found my dress the first time I went. My stylist listened to my ill conceived wants and found me the most perfect dress and incredible veil. Even though I knew it was “the one” I felt that I needed to sleep on it. I didn’t feel any pressure to buy the dress that day. I left without the dress, but with plenty of pictures and videos. After going to one other salon, I ended up coming back months later (waited for my sister to be in town) and as soon as I got back to the shop, my same stylist immediately brought out the dress and two veils. I was sold and she found the most beautiful veil to match. The dress and veil came earlier than expected and they directed me across the street to a wonderful seamstress who got the dress to fit me like a glove. I also used the bustle for preservation, and I’m very happy with that as well.

I will say their dresses are a little over priced. Other than sample dresses, all dresses started at 1,500.00, I found my dress a couple of weeks later at $500 cheaper than what I paid for it at The Bustle.

I loved going to the Bustle to find my dress! I tried on about 8 dresses at this location and the one I picked was the very very last one. Leilani was so patient with me and my big crew the whole time and had perfect suggestions for dresses, veils and accessories. Super cute store that was so perfect! Thanks :)

She helped me feel comfortable in the process and didn't try to make me fall in love with a dress that was over my budget.
